If you are under age, or live in an area where reading stories that include sex between males sex is illegal, or if you're not into this type of story, please leave. The story begins in 1969. While the characters and their story are completely fictional, it is set at places that are real and is told against a backdrop of some real events. This was a time when all sex was safe. It isn't now, so please respect yourself and others enough to always play safe. I would like to thank Tim and Tommy for their input on this chapter. At five we went back to our rooms and fucked and slept. We ate at nine, trying a different place on the Strip each night. We checked out a couple of the clubs on the Strip, but always ended up at the Copa. It was the most fun and had the best music. Plus, it was the only place that let us do our sandwich dance. Lucy got her wish. We did it in all combinations. I almost came in my pants when I got sandwiched between Billy and Brad. With the tens of thousands of college kids here this week, most of the time it felt like there were only four of us. This was truly a week in paradise. Tonight, our last night, Brad again treated us to dinner. We had come in from the beach and Billy and I stripped and just looked at each other. "I can't believe how dark a tan a blonde white boy like you can get. It's like you're almost as dark as I was and are wearing a super white bikini bottom, except for the dick and balls being right up front there." "I somehow thought that because you were already dark brown, you didn't get any darker in the sun. But look at those tan lines. You look almost pale where your swim suit was, except for your dick, which I don't think can get any darker." We showered quickly, dressed in the best clothes we had left, as Brad had requested, and met Brad and Lucy in the lobby. Maybe the management hadn't liked us much, but Brad's mother's land yacht did get us some respect. We got into the huge car and went out for one last night on the town. We ate at a restaurant on the top floor of a hotel we had passed every night on our way back from the Copa to our hotel on the Strip. The view was incredible, not only of the ocean and the city and the Strip, but also of the Intra-Coastal Waterway and all of the boats cruising along. We opened the menus and Billy spoke up. "Jesus, Brad, this is really expensive. We can't eat here." 'Relax, Billy. I told you I'm paying." "I didn't mean that. If you weren't paying, we sure couldn't afford to eat here. But this is too much. You shouldn't be spending this kind of money on us. It's not right." "Billy's right. This place is great, but we don't feel right, you spending this much money on us." "Take it easy, guys. I know where you're coming from. My family was just like yours until I was around 13. Then my Dad lucked into a great business deal and all of a sudden, we were rich. This isn't my money; it's my Dad's. He and Mom use it to impress people. I don't want to impress anyone. Money isn't important to me. Friends like you are. What good is money if you can't use it to make the people you love happy? Mark had the same attitude as you last year. I know there's the matter of pride. But forget your pride and just have a good time. I want you to feel good, not bad. I love the three of you and want nothing more than for you all to be happy." "Well, when you put it that way... You really are an amazing guy, Brad. It was only two months ago when you found out Billy and I were gay, and it was obvious that only your strong feelings for Lucy kept you from freaking out. And now here you are telling us that you love us." "Not to mention the various sandwich dances we've had, guy." "I really do love you, Brad. I know I've told you that more than a few times this week, but every day I love more and more about you." "Hey, I'm not trying to form a fan club here. I know I wasn't exactly pro-gay when I met you guys. And I did put up with you at first because I really liked Lucy. But you seemed to be good guys over semester break. And now after practically living with you this week, I am so impressed with your obvious love for one another. I am in love with Lucy. And I love you guys. I never thought I would say something like that. You've made me realize that I love Mark, too, but I've never told him. Loving another guy doesn't make you gay. It makes you human." "Well, Billy and I are pretty complimented, being loved by someone so human." "I've got to tell Mark I love him. He's my cousin and he's been my best friend for as long as I can remember. But straight guys don't say things like that to each other. I don't know how he'll react." "I've got an idea. If you have your arm around me and are fondling one of my boobs when you tell him, maybe he won't get the wrong idea." "Oh, Luce, why don't you just fuck him right here on the table. Haven't you had enough this week? You are one horny bitch." "Billy, honey, don't you be calling me a horny bitch. I know you too well. You and Danny could set an Olympic record for horny." Fortunately, they brought the food out right then or we might have been asked to leave, the way the conversation was heading straight into the gutter. "So, guys, how do you think Mark will react if I tell him I love him? I don't mean it sexually; you of all people know that. But I really want to hug my cousin and tell him how much he has meant to me my whole life," "Sorry, Brad, but we've never even met Mark. So there's no way we can tell how he might react." "I don't thing you'll have a problem, Brad. I went to school with him for years, and he really is a good guy." "Yeah, he's my buddy, my friend. But still..." After a fantastic meal, we headed down to the Copa. We danced and partied together for about an hour, then left for the hotel. God, it was so hard to leave that place. It was our nighttime paradise for a week. But we had to head north in the morning. Brad laid down the law. "Okay guys. We're leaving at nine. I suggest a wake up call at seven. That will leave you time to wake up, have one last fuck in paradise, clean up, pack and have breakfast." "Sounds good, Brad. See you and Luce in the morning." Billy I really wanted to have one last night of love with my beautiful boy, but in spite of the fact that we were in bed hours earlier than we had been all week, as soon as we got to the room, stripped and laid down together, wrapped in each other's arms, we were out. The wake up call came too soon. "Oh, God, Billy. We only have two hours to shower, shave, pack and be ready to leave. We're not gonna make it." "Follow me, white boy." I dragged his ass into the shower. We washed each other before I turned around and made him fuck me with all his might. Danny has such a beautiful cock. I just love to suck on it. And I really love to fuck his sweet little hole. But I love it when he fucks me. Though I can't see it, the idea of that perfect pale white dick plunging into my black asshole really turns me on. And he seems to enjoy it too. We dried off and went back into the bedroom. "Okay, Danny, no time to pack, Just shove everything into our bags. We'll take care of it when we get home. Just make sure that we've got everything." We got everything shoved into our bags and were ready at eight. I knocked on the door between our rooms. Brad opened it, naked again. "C'mon, Brad, you've got to stop swinging that big dick in front of us. You're getting to be a terrible tease." "I'm sorry, guys. It's just that, at school, it's very natural to be naked around other guys and I forget that it might me a tease to some. I'll have to keep that in mind when I get back to school. But consider it payback for all of the unwanted sexual images you've planted in my head." With that, he put his hands behind his head and began swaying his hips, his dick getting a little firmer each time it slapped against his hips. "Bradley! While I appreciate your little burlesque routines, I don't want to share them with others. Close the door and get dressed. Boys, we'll meet you downstairs for breakfast in ten minutes." We were waiting for them when they came down. Danny and I had already started with a little coffee and orange juice. "Jeez, Lucy, you've got a real pervert on your hands. He's not only hung and uninhibited but he just swings that big dick in anyone's face. You've got to find a way to keep that dick under control." How many waitresses in how many states are we going to send running away from our table? "Give it up, guys. I was a little groggy when I opened the door. I didn't mean to show off or tease you. Give me a break." "C'mon, Brad, we're just teasing you. You know we only want each other. And we know that you are Lucy's. And you're probably the straightest guy in the universe. It just feels so good to be able to have this kind of fun with you." "You're right, Danny, it is fun. I never dreamed I'd be so comfortable sexually teasing gay friends. I have so much fun with you that I could never have with my other friends. Sometimes, it still freaks me out a little, that I am a part of this. But believe me, I love it. I love Lucy, I love you two, I love this whole thing we've got going here." After breakfast, we piled everything into the trunk of Brad's Mom's De Ville and headed north, through the south, trying to put as many miles behind us as we could before dark. Lucy Brad and Billy and I had discussed it and we were determined not to do a repeat of the trip down. We all knew that, although he hadn't minded it, Danny did more than his share of driving and he was exhausted when we got to Ft. Lauderdale. So we made up our minds to make sure the driving was more evenly distributed going home. "I know I can't drive so my only job is to stay awake and keep the driver company when the others are sleeping. And I fucked up at the end of the trip down and let my baby down. I won't do it again. I'll sleep when I can, but if either of you needs company, I'm there." So we started up the Florida Turnpike with Brad at the wheel until it started to veer to the west, then switched over to US 1. We switched drivers every two hours but it took forever just to get out of Florida. Brad was on his second shift when we finally made it to Georgia. "Okay, guys, we're almost home. Just a little more to go." Yeah, right. It was 4 in the afternoon, but Danny was sound asleep in Billy's arms in the back seat. That was good. "So Brad, what are your plans after you graduate next year? You tell me about school all the time, but you don't talk about the future." "What do you mean next year, Luce? Brad's a senior. He's graduating this year." "No, Billy, Lucy's right. It's a little strange. I'm in a five-year engineering program. So I get to be a senior for two years and this is the first one." "They've got the same kind of thing at Rutgers at the Engineering school." "Well, at least it gives me a one year reprieve, having an extra year of school." "What do you mean, baby?" "I didn't want to tell you. Lucy I've been trying to keep it from you and not think about it myself. But I did really lousy in the draft lottery. The minute I graduate, I'm in the Army. Not even my Dad's money can do anything about that." "Oh, my God. Maybe they won't get up to your number. Maybe you won't have to go, Brad." "My number is three, Lucy. They're definitely gonna get to it, even if the war ends today." "Shit, Brad, isn't there anything you can do?" "Well the only thing in my favor is that with a degree in engineering, I'll go straight to the Army Corps of Engineers, which will keep me out of combat. But the Corps is all over Vietnam, so I guess I'll be heading there in about a year and a half." "Oh Brad, why didn't your tell me?" "Well the lottery was only done last month. And it wasn't something I wanted to tell you in a letter. I wanted to tell you in person, but this week has been the best week of my life and I just didn't want to bring anyone down. Plus, I've kind of been in denial about the whole thing. I mean ever since I met you a few months ago, life has been so wonderful." "Well, look at the bright side. You're not going to be in combat, and you'll get a couple of years of experience to put on your resume." "That's what I keep telling myself, Lucy. My big dilemma is whether we should get married before I go or when I get back." "Oh man, Brad, I really shouldn't be part of this conversation. Thank God Danny's asleep. But you should be doing this in private with Lucy." "Don't worry, Billy. I'm not actually proposing. When that happens, it will be in private and will be very special. All I'm saying right now is that I have every intention to marry Lucy. I'm not asking yet, because it's too soon for her to give me an answer. But, someday soon." "Oh, God, Brad, I don't know what to say." "That's just it, Lucy, you don't have to say anything. I didn't ask a question, so it doesn't need answer. And there is so much time ahead of us that is spoken for. So we don't have to make that decision for quite a while." Danny started squirming in Billy's arms. "Hey guys, did I miss anything?" Danny Everybody was strangely quiet after I woke up, but it took me a while before I was lucent enough to realize it. "Is it my time to drive?" "In about ten minutes, Dan, when we get to Savannah." "Then I'd better wake up. How are we doing?" "We're making good time. We should be home around noon tomorrow, like we planned." I know I missed something. But I figured I'd have to wait and ask Billy later. In about fifteen minutes, we got to Savannah and Brad gave up the wheel. He and Lucy moved into the back seat and Billy and switched to the front. Within a half hour, they were both asleep. "Okay, black boy, what did I miss?" "Basically, Brad has a year left of engineering school, then he's gonna be drafted and go to Vietnam, and can't decide whether to marry Lucy before he goes or after he gets back." "Shit! I was only asleep an hour. That's like a lifetime of news." "Yeah, he didn't actually propose to Lucy, but he made it clear he's in love with her and wants to marry her. But I think he's really scared about going to Vietnam." "So am I. I hate the war, I don't think it's right, and I would do anything to stay out of it. Maybe Brad can tell them he's gay. We'll back him up." "Maybe. We can suggest it, but that sticks with you your whole life and maybe Brad doesn't want that on his record." "Yeah, I hadn't thought of it that way. I mean, we ARE gay and everyone already knows, so it's no big deal with us any more. But for him it would be very different." "Yeah, and he could get in a lot of trouble if they found out he lied, white boy." "This really sucks. I can't stand the thought of him in Vietnam." "Well, the good thing is he'll be in the Army Corps of Engineers, so he won't be in combat." "I guess that's a plus. And it looks like maybe someday we'll be going to a wedding. Do you think Lucy would let us give her away?" "I think she'd probably love it. I can just see Aunt Connie, all dressed up, sitting in the front pew, bawling her eyes out. I can't wait." "Yeah, since we can't get married, maybe we can at least be a part of their wedding." Somehow, the time and miles flew by faster going home. The trip home didn't seem anywhere near as long as the trip down. But, then, on the way down we were so full of anticipation we just couldn't wait to get there. That made it seem longer. Plus, having done the trip once, things looked familiar to us and we knew more or less where we were. Lucy The trip home was going much better than the trip down. We all shared the driving evenly and Danny got lots of sleep. Saturday morning found me at the wheel, cruising up the good old Jersey Turnpike. Finally, we were north of the Mason-Dixon line and almost home. "Looks like I timed this well, baby. I figured we'd get in around noon and that's just when it should be. I hope you don't mind, but Mark and I arranged to meet at your house. His Spring Break is just starting and mine ends tomorrow, so that doesn't leave us much time to hang out and catch up." "No problem. I definitely understand. I mean, he is your best friend and you haven't seen him in a couple of months. I get to see the two sleeping beauties in the back seat almost every day. Besides, I like Mark." "That's great. I figured we could all hang out for the afternoon and then I'd take him home with me to spend the night. Tomorrow, when I have to leave for school, I'll bring him home and stop by here to say good-bye. Do you think your sleeping beauties would mind going to a matinee tomorrow?" "We could ask them." Billy Brad pulled into Lucy's driveway at ten after twelve. Aunt Connie and a good-looking guy about our age were coming out the door even before we were out of the car. Brad introduced us to his cousin Mark and the six of us just stood there for nearly ten minutes, babbling at each other. Finally Aunt Connie ordered us into the house. "It's too chilly to stand around here all day. Let's go in where we can talk and be warm." Danny and I took our bags out of the car and left them at the foot of the stairs to our apartment. Brad carried Lucy's into the house. "Hey, guys, why don't I take your bags up for you? You probably want to talk to Aunt Connie and I've already visited with her a bit." "Thanks, Mark. Here's the key. See you in a few." We went in the house and sat around the kitchen table and talked while drinking mugs of hot cider Aunt Connie had made. It was ten minutes before I realized that Mark hadn't come back. "I wonder what's keeping Mark? I hope he's not trying to unpack for us. Our bags are a mess the way we just shoved everything in at the last minute." "Maybe he's just trying to stay out of the way, to give us a chance to talk." "C'mon Danny, let's go up and get him. He should be a part of the party." "No, guys. Let me go get him. I have something I wanted to talk to him about, remember? I was going to wait until we got back to my house tonight, but there's no time like the present." Brad got up and went out the back door. "I hope Mark takes it the right way." "What do you mean, Danny?" "Well, Aunt Connie, while we were away, Brad realized that it was possible to love another guy and still be straight. And he's loved his cousin and best friend Mark all his life and never told him. So he wants to. But he's afraid Mark will take it the wrong way." "Yeah, as Brad says, loving another guy doesn't make you gay, it just makes you human." "It sounds to me like Brad did a lot of growing up on this trip. And I think that maybe you and Danny had a little to do with it." "Believe me, Aunt Connie, they had a lot to do with it. Brad is growing into the most beautiful person and I'm really falling in love with him." Just then, Brad came back in, alone, with an angry, grim and frustrated look on his face, if it's possible to be all three at once. "Excuse me, Aunt Connie, Lucy, but I need to talk to Billy and Danny alone for a few minutes. Do you mind if I steal them from you?" "No, of course not, Brad. Why don't you boys go talk in the sunroom?" Danny and I sat on the couch in the sunroom, but Brad just paced for a minute. "Looks like it didn't go too good, Brad. Did he freak out? Didn't he even give you a chance to explain?" "It wasn't that Danny. I never even got to that. It's just that what I walked in on shocked me and I'm the one who freaked out. I sure didn't handle things right." "C'mon Brad, stop the fuckin' pacing and sit down and tell us what happened." He slumped into a chair and stared at the floor. "Okay. I'm definitely gonna need your advice on how to fix this, but first I have to tell you exactly what went down. Let me tell you the whole story without interruption, then we can talk about what to do." I went upstairs to your place and let myself in without knocking. I mean it was only my cuz in there. I looked around for a few seconds before I spotted him, lying naked on your bed, eyes closed, holding his hardon in his hand. "Shit, Mark, what do you think you're doing?" He jumped when he heard my voice and sat up, trying to cover his dick with his hands. He grabbed a pillow and held it in front of himself. "Aw fuck, Brad. What are you doing here? I thought Billy or Danny or both would come looking for me." "And you were going to greet them like that? "Shit, I should have told you but I was afraid. I wanted to, but didn't want to. I'm gay, Brad. I was afraid you'd hate me if you found out. Then you met Billy and Danny and didn't seem too cool about them, so I was still afraid to say anything. I thought you were only putting up with them for Lucy. But I wanted to meet them so much. That's why I suggested meeting here today. And then I met them and they were both so hot. I was hoping I could get it on with them." "Mark, I don't care that you're gay. Billy and Danny have become good friends of mine. What does upset me is your acting like a whore trying to seduce my friends. I feel like I don't even know you." "But Brad..." "I'm too pissed off to even talk about it right now. Go put on your clothes and come downstairs. We'll talk tonight when we get home and I've calmed down. Jeez, Mark, how could you do this?" "I stormed out of the apartment. As the door slammed behind me, I realized how badly I'd handled things. I went up there to tell him I loved him and ended up ripping him apart. So what do I do now? When Mark comes down, can the four of us talk together in here? I really don't know what to say to him and I need you for moral support." "No problem Brad. And we'll make sure you don't mess things up any more. You really should have given him a chance to explain." "I know that now, Danny, but at the time, it all seemed so obvious that there could be no explanation. I mean, he told me what he intended." "He's probably in the kitchen with Aunt Connie and Luce by now. Let's go get him and bring him in." But we got to the kitchen and the ladies were alone, chatting about Ft. Lauderdale. "Mark hasn't come down yet?" "Not yet, Brad. Is everything okay?" "We had a little misunderstanding, Lucy. Maybe we should go upstairs and talk to him guys." The three of us went out back, climbed the stairs to the apartment and let ourselves in. No sign of Mark. "Yo, Mark. I'm sorry I flew off the handle. Can we talk? I brought Billy and Danny." I thought that maybe he had left; maybe he was too embarrassed to face Brad. The apartment seemed empty, but the bathroom door was just cracked open. I went over and pushed the door open. The first thing I saw was all of the blood on the sink and the razor blade. Then Mark, naked and unconscious in a heap on the floor, a pool of blood rapidly enlarging around his left wrist.
