Date: Tue, 29 Oct 2002 06:54:45 -0800 From: Steve Thomas Subject: Adam 4 I have written some other stories, found in the College section, "Colins-Story" and "Chris-Crossed". They are fiction. Some of this story may seem familiar. There is good reason, as my other stories are based on my experience and my fantasy. Here is the true story of my first gay lover. No sex here, so if that is what you are looking for, don't waste your time here. Adam-4 - "Travis! Phone!" said Edie. Then, putting her hand over the phone as Travis was almost there, she whispered, "I think its Adam, Edie's son" "Hello? Oh, hi, Adam! Okay, how are you? Not that long -- it's only been a week. I'd love that -- how about Tuesday at seven? Good, then Tuesday it is. Bye. "I'm going down to take Adam out to dinner on Tuesday. Maybe I can find out a little more about what makes him tick." "He sure seems to like you, Travis. Have you noticed how he looks at you and hangs on every word?" "I've tried not to. But yes, I noticed. He seems to be such a good kid. If only I could have some influence on him. Wouldn't it be great if he would start going to church? He told me that he hasn't much since he's been able to decide that for himself." Adam called one more time before Tuesday rolled around, to tell Travis to meet him outside the gate. There was no way he was going to let Wayne dominate any part of this time with Travis! (And Wayne would!) When Travis pulled up to the gate, Adam was there, waiting. He got in, and Travis asked him where was a good place to eat. Adam wasn't too savvy on places to eat besides fast food, but he suggested a place he'd been before, and they went there. They talked mostly about Adam. Basketball, football, his new job, the car Adam wanted to buy. When Travis asked about college, Adam said he wanted to, but had to earn some money first. The evening went far too fast for Adam. Before he knew it, they were at his gate saying good-bye. They hugged about as close as two men could in the cab of a pickup truck. Then Travis tilted his head back and whispered, "At the risk of being misunderstood, - " and he kissed Adam on the cheek. Adam's face was burning, and his ears were on fire. He was glad that it was dark and that the dome light in the truck didn't work. Adam said his thanks and started out of the truck. As he was about to open the gate, Travis called out, "How about next week?" "Yeah, okay. My treat, next time." Notes: This is the only "notes" I will post. it will always be the same. Please feel welcome to write if you want to comment. Please put "Adam" in the subject area. Thanks. I am Steve. s4d@hotmail.com
