Date: Tue, 16 Jan 2007 22:02:52 -0600 From: Marshall Huckins Subject: To My Love Christian woke with a start. The room was still dark. The only light in the room came from the CD player alarm clock. Christian looked around to see what had woken him up. He reached for the light switch, but before he could, a very masculine hand was strangling his wrist. He looked up for the hand's owner, only to find his captor was no longer standing next to him. Christian looked around the room just in time to see a dark figure jump on him. Giovanni was now on top of Christian. His lips traveling all over Christian's neck and chest. Christian, moaning uncontrollably at his boyfriend's wondering lips, decided to return the favor by caressing Giovanni's Moroccan chest. Christian ripped Giovanni's silk boxer shorts off before he could object. Now the only thing between the two well-toned bodies was a thin, light blue sheet. "Well it looks like I get to be on top tonight," said Giovanni. "Looks like it, I just hope I'll be up for taking all that you have to give," Christian joked. Christian had always been able to take all of his well-endowed boyfriend. "Oh, it's just so hot. I can't stop sweating. Maybe we should take a shower," Giovanni told him. "We can continue this there." "That is a great idea, just let me grab some fresh towels." "Grab just one towel, I think that's all we'll need," Giovanni had this night planned out for a couple of weeks. First he was going to take him out to a nice, romantic dinner at the new "hot spot" restaurant. Then he was going to go to Christian's favorite beach and walk the shore in the moonlight. After that he would take him home and propose to him. The only flaw with tonight's festivities was the proposal. Giovanni couldn't get up enough nerve to ask Christian to make him the luckiest man in the world. "Giovanni, are you coming? You've been standing there, staring off into space for a couple minutes now. The shower is all ready to go." "Oh, yeah. I'm coming Chris. Sorry about that," Giovanni apologized. "I guess I just had some things on my mind." "Don't worry about it, I've had a lot of things on my mind too," Christian grabbed something off of his dresser before leading Giovanni into the bathroom. "I had the best night ever tonight; I don't want it to end. And I don't think it's going to." Christian got down on one knee. "Giovanni, will you make me the happiest man in the world and do me the honor of marrying me?" Tears started to form at the edges of Giovanni's eyes. "Of course I will. Why do you think I gave you such a great night? I was planning on proposing to you, but I was too nervous that you would say no," Giovanni pulled Christian up off of the bathroom floor and pulled him into a deep passionate kiss. Time stood still during this amazing, wonderful kiss. "How about we just turn on the air conditioner and get into bed. We can cuddle all night and talk about the wedding," Christian offered. "Sounds absolutely fantastic to me!" They got into Christian's queen size bed. They just held each other until sleep took hold of them. The alarm clocked buzzed at 7 a.m. Christian shut off its annoying buzzer and looked over at his fiance. Christian held his sleeping Giovanni. He held him for what seemed like hours. Giovanni began to stir. "How long have you been awake?" Giovanni questioned groggily. "Just for a few minutes. You couldn't hear the alarm go off?" "I guess not, last night I didn't fall asleep until after we decided to get married. I was too nervous before then to fall asleep. After all that was about 4 a.m." Giovanni decided to get up to go to the bathroom. Christian wouldn't let him go. "Sorry Giovanni, I just wanted to hold you for a little bit. You can go now if you need to." "It's ok I can wait a few more minutes if that would be to your pleasure," said Giovanni. "Although, we never did get that shower. Maybe I could go to the bathroom. Then you can join me when I'm done." "Sounds like a plan. And besides, now I can admire your ass as you walk to the bathroom!" "That's what you think," he said as he slipped on some boxers before leaving the nice warm bed. "Darn you, always ruining my fun," Christian joked. "I'll let you know when I'm done, ok hon?" "That's a good idea, that way we can have more time together before I have to get going to work," Christian worked at the top law firm in New York City. He was working as an assistant while going to school to become a lawyer. In a couple of weeks he would be taking his bar test and if he passed he was going to become a lawyer for his company. "What time do you have to be there?" Giovanni questioned. "I have to be there at 8:30 this morning. I wish I could go later so I could spend time discussing the wedding with you," "Um, Christian, I have something to tell you," Giovanni said in a very serious tone. "Oh, God. You're breaking up with me aren't you?!?" Christian started freaking out. "Oh, honey, no, no, no, of course not. I could never leave you." Giovanni reassured his frantic fiance. "Oh, thank God. Then what is it that you have to tell me? You sound so serious. It's scaring me," Christian said. "It's nothing really. Just that I haven't exactly told my parents that I'm...that I'm gay." "Oh," Christian replied quietly. "Honey it's ok, I plan on telling them soon. I'll tell them before the wedding. Ok? I just haven't been able to tell them since I'm their only child." "I know that. It's ok though. I know you're going to tell them before the wedding, right?" Christian questioned. "Yes, I'm going to tell them before the wedding...when are we having the wedding? I was thinking about June or July." "Oh, I've always wanted a June wedding. That sounds perfect! I'm so glad that we are doing this. You don't know how happy you've made me." "I believe I do. Besides I'm just as happy as you are. I never thought I would be getting married at the age of 24." "24? You're already lying about your age? I thought you were 26." "How did you come to that figure?" "Well, when we got together 5 years ago you were 21. Weren't you?" "Oh, yeah I guess that would make me 26 then. I guess you're right. Darn I thought I could get away with it. Well on the wedding invitation we won't tell them how old I really am." Giovanni laughed. "Well I've got to hurry so I'm not late to work. Maybe we shouldn't share a shower...with all of that fun I know I would be late for sure." "Well, ok. But you are going to join me in one before bed tonight then." "Ok. It's a date. Now I've got to get into the shower." Said Christian. "Good I want to clean the apartment while you are gone. Then I'm going to go to the store and stock up on groceries. Aaahhh" Giovanni screamed. "What?!? What is it? What's wrong?" "There was a mouse in the kitchen, again" Giovanni informed Christian. "Ok, ok. Why don't you call the exterminator today? Ask him for his earliest time. There is a copy of my work schedule on the refrigerator, if someone needs to be here when they come. Well you take care of that and I'm going to shower now." "That's fine. I'll get him to come over at his first convenience. Do you have any preference as to what company we use?" Giovanni's voice rising louder so Christian could hear him from the shower. "No, just make sure to get a price quote." Christian yelled from the shower. About ten minutes later, Christian was out of the shower. He was wearing just a towel showing off his well-tanned six-pack abs that he's been working on most of his life. He didn't hear Giovanni enter their big, luxurious master bedroom, as he got dressed. "Now that looks good," Giovanni said. "Aah! When did you get in here? I didn't hear you get in." "I just walked in so I could admire your great body." "Well keep talking like that and I'm going to be late for work. You know what happens when you talk to me like that." Christian said. "I know. What do you think I'm shootin' for?" Giovanni teased. Christian finished getting dressed in his new expensive Armani suit. He went into the kitchen as Giovanni followed. Christian grabbed a bagel to go. "What time are you going to be home?" Giovanni queried. "I think around five or so. Why?" "No reason. I just wanted to know so I could be ready for you tonight." "Ready? What do you have planned?" "Oh nothing. You better get going or you're going to be late!" "Ok, ok I'm going. I'll be home later. I love you and have fun today," Christian told his fiance. "I'll have fun if you try to have fun and I love you now and forever. Now, get going!" "Bye" Comments and suggestions welcome at spyke400@gmail.com thanks for reading!
