Chapter 08

They checked to make sure they had everyone and everything they needed before heading out. On the way there. Jayden consulted with Gabriel. Since he was personally involved in this, Jayden suggested that he take the lead, which was fine with Gabriel. He wasn't in the mood to hear any moaning and bitching about how they were being treated. However. He didn't see any way around it. As soon as the words were uttered, the bitching will begin and will go on until they get their way.

When they arrived, Jayden knocked on the door but got no answer. He knocked again, but still there was no answer. He was about to knock for the third time when they heard footsteps coming from the other side heading their way. Soon the door was being opened by a surprised Louisa Matthews.

"Gabriel, how nice it is to see you deer, please do come in." She said when she could find her voice.

She stepped aside and allowed them entry into the house. "Is Jalisa here?  We need to speak with the two of you." Louisa confirmed that she was. "Can you get her for me please?"

"Sure, I'll be right back." She said enthusiastically.  She was hoping she had finally gotten through to him, and he was there to put his family back together again. She turned to go get her daughter-in-law, who she still thinks of Jalisa as, even though she and Gabriel had gotten a divorced.

It was then when Jalisa came into the room. Before anyone could say anything, Jayden began speaking. "Louisa Matthews, Jalisa Simpson, we have a warrant for your arrest. Please put your hands behind your back to be cuffed."

"I see, and what are the charges?" Jalisa asked with a sarcastic smirk. Believing that they have nothing to hold them on.

"Louisa, you're being charged with forgery and bribery. Jalisa, you're being charged with forgery, bribery, and distribution of narcotics."

Both women were stunned onto silence. They couldn't believe they had been found out when they thought they were being careful in their plan.

"What had that bastard done to you Gabriel?" Jalisa spat venomously when she had recovered from the shock. "How can you arrest your wife and mother like this?"

"Ex-wife and mother." Gabriel retorted condescendingly. "Besides, you were warned not to provoke Dray, but chose to disregard it, believing you had the upper-hand. What you don't know is that Dray was giving you enough rope to hang yourself which you did. Now he's looking to dance at your funeral when you're put behind bars for a very long time."

Reluctantly, both women did as they were instructed. The men cuffed them, escorted them outside, and placed them in the backseat of their cruiser. Afterwards, they got in the front and headed to headquarters.

When they arrived, the women had their mug shot taken, finger printed, then put in an interrogation room for questioning. Then Gabriel and Jayden went to their supervisor's office to update him on the arrest. He congratulated them on a job well done, encouraged them to keep up the good work, and to get back to work. They thanked him for the complement, assured him that they will, and left the office.

Knowing how Louisa can easily influence her son into doing her bidding, Jayden suggested he question her, while Gabriel question Jalisa. Gabriel had no problem with that, although he assured him that those days were over. However, Jayden wasn't taking that risk, and Gabriel knew it.

They split-up and went their separate ways. Jayden into room 5, and Gabriel across the hall in room 6.

When the door open, Louisa looked up to see Jayden entering the room. She felt a little disappointed of that, because she was hoping that Gabriel would be the one who question her, then she can try to persuade him into dropping this shenanigan. However, that don't look like it'll be the case. Jayden just sat down and turned on the recorder.

He began with the preliminaries like name, date, and case number, before saying. "We have enough to put you away for a long time Louisa." He informed her. "Now is the time to try to cut a plea bargain. Tell us what you know."

Louisa tried charming her way out of the situation until she saw that it was having no effect on Jayden. She then decided to tell him everything she knew. Starting with Jalisa knowing someone who can forge papers and contacted him. They then contacted a lawyer who knew a judge and bribed him to enforce them onto Adrian. Finally, they went to the police station and talked to a policeman that Jalisa knew; and had him serve the papers on Adrian. "I was just trying to keep Gabriel from destroying his family. surely you can understand that."

Jayden made no comment. "I'll type your statement up and have you read it before signing it." He then turned off the recorder, got up, and left the room.

Gabriel, however, interrogation wasn't going as easy. As soon as he entered the room, Jalisa started ramping about how Gabriel should be ashamed of himself for arresting his wife and mother on some bogus charges. He let her continued for a minute before interrupting her. "We have enough to put you away for a very long time Jalisa." He then told her about the evidence that they have. "Now it's time for you to explain your actions. And make it count, because this is the only help that you'll get from me. Once I walk out that door, you're on your own. I won't be calling on any favors to protect you."

Jalisa gave him a derisive snort. "Like hell it is. I went through hours of labor giving birth to those two brats of yours'.  Not only that, but we were married. I won't have you throwing me away like yesterday's trash."  Now here's what you're going to do."

She then demanded that he drop all charges, destroy any and all evidence, come back home, they'll get married again, without a prenuptial this time, and he'll forget all about this being gay bullshit.

In response, Gabriel just turned on the recorder. "This is Special Agent Gabriel Matthews..."

After school that day, the boys met their dads Adrian, DMoney, and Julian at the appointed destination. A minute later, Calvin and Keith joined them, followed by a lady who was their realtor. She was there to show them some houses that were on the market. After Adrian introduced the boys, she unlocked the door of the first house.

It was a six-bedroom, four-bathroom house, with a dining room, study, and two car garage. A half bath on one side of the front entry way, and a coat closet in the other. Next you enter the living room with a fire place and built-in bookshelf. An entry to the dining room takes you to a eat-in kitchen which also have a fire place and entry to the garage with small work shed. The study is a large open area with built-in bookshelves.

Steps coming from the living room and kitchen takes you to the second floor. The master bedroom has a bathroom with a four-person stand-up shower and a separate whirlpool tub. Two sets of rooms share a bathroom with shower tub and closet, while the sixth have a small stand-up shower and closet. A built-in extra linen closet is also located on the second floor.

Steps from the second floor leads to the attic which is a large open area with built-in shelves. A full-sized bathroom with a two-person shower.

The basement is a large open area with a laundry facility, storage room, and room with half bath and standup shower.

A two-bedroom apartment with full-size bathroom with shower tub, dining room, and kitchen is above the garage.

Both brothers like the house, however, Calvin wanted to see others before making a final decision. "Wise choice." DMoney told him. "Never make a final decision until you know all your options. Only then, should you decide, and be happy with the decision you made."

With that, the realtor took them across the street. Only DMoney noticed Mike and Ethan lagging behind in a private conversation, and wondered what it was about, although he had an idea. This house is similar to the other one, only difference is that this one has a breakfast bar in the kitchen.

The brothers like this house best, but for different reasons. Calvin thought the breakfast bar will be a good preparation area, but Keith always thought the dining room should be for special occasions. Both opted for this one.

Just as they made their announcement, Mike and Ethan surprised everyone with one of their own. They decided to buy the one across the street. Their family was getting bigger, and they needed the room. Plus, they thought the house would be a good investment, and it was close to the dads, so they would be nearby if they were ever needed.

DMoney and Julian agreed and offered to buy it for them. However, Mike and Ethan said that wasn't necessary. Between the two of them, they can more then afford it, and still have plenty of money left over. DMoney and Julian agreed, but insisted on buying them a safe and security alarm.  Although the boys didn't think that was necessary, they were smart enough to know not to argue with the offer. Overhearing the conversation, Adrian insisted on buying one for the brothers, who were also smart enough to know to not argue with the offer.

The realtor smiled inwardly. She couldn't believe she sold two houses in one afternoon. Once the papers were signed, she departed for her office to file them away.

Adrian, DMoney, Julian, and the boys stayed ten more minutes to discuss disgust going shopping for both houses. After a few minutes of discussion, they decided that tomorrow would be best. That way, everything would be brought and paid for when moving day comes. They had also decided to meet at school since the Mason brothers needed to come to.

They all said goodbye, got into their car, and went their separate ways.

When Adrian and Alonzo got home, Gabriel met them at the door holding Tony and feeding him. Adrian had called and told him earlier about the house showing and he wanted to hear about it. However, Tony was hungry, and he had already let Jeanette go home for the day, so that duty was left for him to take care of. "How did it go?"

That was all it took for Alonzo. He told his Dad Gabe who picked which house and the extra amenities they have. He talked nonstop that Adrian and Gabriel barely said a word out through the whole conversation. They didn't mind though; this is what they are fighting for. By the time Alonzo had wined down, they were being called to dinner.

After dinner, Gabriel helped Alonzo with his homework, while Adrian played with the little ones. Afterwards, they watched a movie on television. About thirty minutes into the movie, the kids started falling asleep and the dads put them to bed. First it was Tony and Jamy, Theo followed a half an hour later, and finally, an hour later Alonzo.

Adrian could see the distress on Gabriel's face all night, and wanted to reassure him that he was doing the right thing. So, after putting the boys to bed, they went to bed themselves.

In the morning, while Gabriel got the boys up and ready, Adrian called DMoney. He and Gabriel talked about it last night and decided to invite the guys to breakfast. He then went to let Sean and Brian know about the extra guest before going to help Gabriel with the boys.

At the Matthews/Morison residence, DMoney was going around telling the boys about the invitation. Ethan thanked him when he got to his and Mike's room, causse Mike was already on the phone calling Calvin.

When Adrian, Gabriel, and the boys got downstairs, they could smell that breakfast was nearly ready, so they headed to the kitchen. They greeted everyone good morning as they took their seat, with Alonzo turning the television on to a cartoon channel before taking his. Gabriel put Jamy in his highchair while Adrian fed Tony.

Just then the doorbell chined. A minute later, Jeffrey entered, follow by DMoney, Julian, and their boys, with Mike carrying EJ in his carrier. They greeted everyone good morning as they took their seat. That's when Ethan removed EJ from his carrier to feed him a bottle before having his own breakfast.

Five minutes later, Sean and Brian came in with the breakfast platters. Today's feast was French toast stuff with strawberry, raspberry, or blueberry. Real maple syrup, sausage, bacon, hashbrown, and scrambled eggs with ham, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and cheese. Drinks were coffee, (for those who drink it) with or without cream, orange, crangrape, pineapple juice, and milk.

Half way through breakfast, there was another chined of the doorbell. Soon afterwards, Jeffrey escorted in Calvin and Keith, and to everyone's surprise, Andrew. Mike chined had told them the situation regarding the brothers, so their late arrival was expected. Andrew, however, was totally unexpected. Getting over the surprising guest quickly, they all welcomed him.  Mike and Ethan looked at Calvin with a raised eyebrow, and he mouthed, `I'll tell you later. Both boys gave him an indiscernible nod and continued on eating.

Soon it was time for their outing. As they were putting on their coats, Mike and Ethan queried Calvin on the unexpected accompany of Andrew. "Since he probably will be doing some cooking at the house, I assumed that he would know what we would need for the kitchen, and asked if he wanted to join us today. He did; and here we are."

"Is this the start of something between the two of you." Ethan asked him.

"I don't know." Calvin answered. "Perhaps, we just have to wait and see.  I hope so, because I don't want to miss out ion another chance of happiness."

Mike and Ethan understood and agreed with him full heartedly. Neither guy knew if anything would have developed between the three of them, but they wouldn't had mind experimenting to find out. However, that time had past, and there was no sense on looking back on what could've been. Mike and Ethan are happy in their relationship, and Calvin didn't want to interfere with that, or the friendship they were trying to rebuilt.

all but Alonzo hopped in their parents' car and headed out. Alonzo, wanting to spend some time with Keith, chose to ride with him, Calvin, and Andrew.

Their first stop was Family Furniture. As soon as they entered the store, Calvin and Ethan spotted a living room set that they had to have. Calvin likes the black with gold stars, while Ethan likes the black with white stars. Calvin called to brother over to get his opinion on it, while Ethan did the same did Mike. They also asked Alonzo and Andrew for theirs, which was given. Both pair also selected a matching coffee and end tables of the same colors.

Their next stop was the dining room section. Calvin and Keith liked the twelve-piece black and silver set, and Ethan and Mike liked the white and silver set. From there, it was onto the kitchen section where they selected the opposite colors in an eight-piece set.

For the study, they brought an extra sofa plus two chairs and two end tables.

Now they needed to get some bedding and linens, so they went to the malls. Their first stop was Macy's, then Targets, and finally Sears. They brought enough to supply both houses. They made sure to purchase bodywash and cologne.

After a morning of splurging, they were beginning to get hungry, so they decided to break for some lunch. Wanting to get back to shopping right away, they opted to go to Subway for a sandwich, chips, and a drink.

When they were finished eating, they headed to Circuit City. They purchased a television, DVD/VCR player, stereo, and an entertainment system, along with a few music CD's. They also picked up a few odds and ins that they needed.

On the way out to the cars, DMoney made an announcement. "We're not finished yet." He told them. "We still have more shopping to do." Everyone but Mike and Ethan gave him a puzzled look. They thought they had gotten everything; they didn't know what else they needed. "We need to buy baby clothes and furniture. We're getting a new addition to the family, you know."

Poor Andrew still looked puzzled. He has no idea what DMoney was talking about. Luckily, Calvin took pity on him. "I'll tell you later." He whispered as he glanced at Mike who gave him an imperceptible nod. Out loud, he said. "Keith and I can come for an hour, then we have to leave. I need to get Andrew back to his car at his parents' restaurant, and make it home, before my parents do."

"That's fine. It shouldn't take more than an hour anyway. We already know what we need to get, we just need to buy them."

What that, they were off to shop for the baby.

As DMoney said, it didn't take long. Within forty-five minutes, they had what they needed for the baby. They said their goodbyes in the parking lot before getting in their car and departing company.

On the ride to the restaurant, Calvin and Andrew learn more about each other. Andrew learned that Calvin has a black belt in two different style of martial arts, and is a good gymnast and poker player. He also learned that Keith knows how to kick box, and is a good chest player. Calvin learned that Andrew is a good swimmer, and can play the keyboard. They also learned that the others like sun bathing in the nude. Unknown to the other, Calvin and Andrew filed that important info away for future situations.

Just then they reached the restaurant. Before Andrew got out of the car, Calvin informed him about the dinner party that he and his brother were hosting as a house-warming celebration.

"Sounds like fun." Was Andrew's enthusiastic response. "What are you serving for dinner?"

"I don't know yet." Calvin replied. "I'll think about it over the weekend, and get back to you early next week. Most likely, it'll probably be something easy and simple to make."

"Let me cook for you?" Andrew asked. "It can be the meal I promised to make for you." Calvin was about to politely decline when he added. "Don't worry, it'll be no trouble at all.  I'll come up with something quick and easy, but tasty."

Not able to think of another excuse, Calvin accepted. "Only if you're sure.  I don't want to take advantage of you in that way."

Andrew caught the double meaning behind his statement and smiled. Calvin returned his smile while adding a wink. In the backseat, Keith giggled at their play-on words, but was happy for his brother. He knew how much Calvin like Andrew, but was being cautious. He didn't want to make a move which could destroy the relationship that he was hoping they were trying to build.

Andrew thanked them for a fun-filled day and got out of the car. When he did, Keith got in the front seat, then the brothers went home. Fortunately, they got there before their parents did, leaving them still with no idea to what the boys are planning.

The night and weekend past uneventfully.

Monday morning came and it was back to work for the adults, and school for the kids. Calvin and Keith had just arrived at school when Calvin received a text from Andrew. `Where are you?'

`Heading to the cafeteria.'

`I'm on my way in to school now, I'll meet you there.

`OK.' He replied before pocketing his phone.

After getting an orange juice and bagel, the brothers found a table where they could be seen from the doorway. Five minutes later Andrew joined them at their table. "I thought about it over the weekend, and's here's what I came up with."

First would be a salad with shrimp, lobster, and crab with blue cheese, honey mustard, and French dressing. The main course would be honey barbecue chicken with his special sauce, scallop potatoes, baked beans, baked macaroni and cheese, and raisin butter biscuits. He'll also make his famous strawberry lemonade for a beverage. Dessert will be chocolate cheesecake with strawberry, raspberry, or cherry topping.

"You're going to make all of that?" Calvin asked in astonishment.

"Sure," Andrew replied. "It's not hard to make, and it doesn't take much time. I can prepare some of it the day before; that way, I'll have time to mingle with the guests."

"Fuck that!  You're not spending two days cooking for about fifteen people!" Calvin demanded. "Come over after school on Friday, and I'll help. I'm no gourmet chef, but I'm no stranger to the kitchen.  I can help with the preparation and let you do the cooking." He finished in a no-nonsense kind of tone.

Andrew knew not to argue. One reason why he wants to be with Calvin, is because he can lay down the law, and won't except anyone's `I can handle it. He loves his domination mannerism, and couldn't wait to show him his submissive side. Just then, Scott and Phillip entered the lunch room, and all talk of the party ceased.

"We just saw your boyfriend getting out of his father's car Keith." Scott teased sardonically.

"Give it a rest you guys!" Bellowed an irate cig brother. "Don't start that shit the first thing in the morning, because I'm not in the mood to hear it. It's too early for that crap."

Both boys gave him a raised eyebrow; but said nothing. They didn't want to get Calvin riled up until they were ready to execute their plan. They didn't think Calvin make a good leader, and want to take over the group, and run it the way their see fit. They think Calvin is becoming too soft, and want to show him who the boss is. Little did they know, Calvin isn't afraid of either of them.

Just then Alonzo walked in with the others to buy something before class, and headed to the cafeteria section where the food and cashier was. "What do you think is going on over there?" Ethan asked Mike, turning to him.

"I'm not sure," Mike answered as they continued on to the front. "But the way Calvin is looking at Scott and Phillip, I don't think it's anything good. They must have started with their homophobic bullshit already. I don't think Calvin is going to put up with that much longer. He's close to his breaking point."

"He shouldn't have to put up with it in the first place."

"You know that, and I know that, but getting his parents to know that, is the problem. You of all people should know how some parents are."

"That's for sure. When they're out from under their feet, they'll be much happier. I know I was when I left home."

"You and me both."

"If it wasn't for that asshole father of his, Keith and I would be together now, instead of having to wait until they have a place to live." Alonzo retorted sourly.

"We know Lonzo," Stated Nicholas. "but we can't do or say anything until Thursday."

"That is if Calvin and Keith can hold out until then." Intervened DeAngelo. "Because something tells me that there's going to be a big blow-up between Calvin Scott and Phillip. He looks like he's about to go straight loco on them."

They reached the cafeteria part of the lunch room and went in. Mike wasn't wrong when he said Calvin was close to his breaking point. In fact, it was only Andrew's hand that was secretly on his knee that was keeping him calm. Andrew knew that gesture would keep Calvin from losing his cool, he had used it on him many times before, and it always works.

The boys came into the lunch room area and sat at a table close to where Calvin and Keith were sitting. They wanted a front row seat for when the shit hits the fan; and from the look of it, that wasn't going to be long. They just hope they are around when it does, because they would love to see Calvin go off on both Scott and Phillip.

"Hey Alonzo, your dad still getting fucked by the FBI agent like a two-dollar whore?" Phillip asked with a cynical smile.

Calvin started to jump from his seat when he suddenly stopped. What stopped him was Andrew moving his hand from his knee up to his upper thigh. Mike and Ethan noticed the action and raised a surreptitious eyebrow which was only noticed by Calvin. He returned it with a glance and nod in Andrew's direction. That made them wondered what was going on, although they had a pretty good idea, and smiled.

"Why?  Are you looking to join them?" Alonzo asked with a raised eyebrow. "Sorry, that's not possible. They grew out of the little boy toy stage years ago. They're in man size toys now."

Everyone but Scott and Phillip laughed. "Why you little fag.  If we weren't in school, I'd..."

Before he could finish that statement, he was cut off by Mike. "You'd do what?" The venom in his voice was unmistakable. "We all know you won't do anything.  And even of you tried, Alonzo could take you down without even breaking a sweat."

"We'll see.  We'll see." Phillip groaned as he and Scott stared at Mike threateningly, which didn't scare him one bit.

meanwhile, Andrew had moved his hand further up Calvin's thigh. Now it was close to his cock, but not touching it. Calvin smiled at the gestured and completed the motion for him. Within an instant, he was standing at attention. Andrew eyes popped opened like flying saucers at the monster contained underneath that piece of fabric, which got the attention of the boys at the other table. However, only two people were aware of something unusual happening, and weren't saying anything about it.

luckily for Phillip, the bell rang just then, so he didn't have to think of a come-back. However, Calvin had to will his erection to diminish before he could stand, which put a frown on his face, and a smile on Andrew's. That's when Keith noticed the expression on both boys' face, but was clueless of the reason.

When Gabriel got to work, he found a message sitting on his desk stating that Louisa would like to speak with him. It didn't give a reason for the visit; however, he didn't need one because He already knew. `She just wants to try to convince me in helping her out of the mess she got herself in.' He thought to himself. Disregarding the message, he started reviewing the files of his newest case.

Two hours later, he had Louisa brought and put in the interrogation room. He let her stew for awhile before going in. "Alright Gabriel, is time to stop all of this shenanigans. You know we were just trying to keep you from destroying your family, and don't belong here, so why are you doing this? Tell me what happened to the little boy I raised?"

"He grew up and had a family of his own." Gabriel disputed her plea. "You were warned not to piss off Dray, because I wouldn't be holding him back, so now you're on your own. You forced me to choose between you and my family, and my family includes Dray. My kids now have two parents to love and take care of them, instead of one like it was when I was married to Jalisa. Dray's a man, but he's the best thing that ever happened to me, and I would be a fool to give that up. And one thing I'm not, is a fool."

With that, he got up and left the room, leaving Louisa sitting there in total disbelief. She now realized that she was in deep trouble, Gabriel wasn't going to help her out of it, and she have no one else to turn to. Mateo (Mattie) was against her from the start, she didn't think her other children would be able to put up the bail money, and Gabriel had completely deserted her. She had no other resources to call upon to help her out, and her husband had already told her that she was going in this alone.

When Gabriel returned from talking to Louisa, Jayden could tell that he was upset, so he suggested that they take an early lunch to get his mind off of his mother. He also suggested that he call and invite Adrian to join them. Gabriel didn't hesitate to take him up on that suggestion. He needed to see the love of his life, and be reminded of what he's fighting to hold on to.

Just as Adrian was getting on the elevator to go to lunch, his phone rang. Seeing Gabriel's name flash across the screen, he answered it. "Hey baby, perfect timing. I just got on the elevator to go to lunch."

"Good, then you can join us for lunch. We're just leaving now, and can meet you anywhere, just say the word." Gabriel retorted with a little excitement. Just talking to his man always puts him in a good mood.

Gabriel couldn't hind his distress from Adrian. He could hear it in his voice from the get-goo. Giving him the address of the Boston Market he wanted them to meet him at, Gabriel told him he'll see him there, and he love him.

The rest of the day and night was uneventful, as well as Tuesday.

Wednesday morning as Mike was sitting in math class, his cell phone vibrated and a feeling of apprehension ran through him. He knew it regarded the baby and he had to move now. Knowing the usage of cell phones were prohibited doing school hours, he let the call go to voice mail so he can check for messages after class.

When it ended, he Pulled his phone out of his pocket. Correctly, Ethan figured it have something to do with the baby, and just patiently waited for him. As Mike suspected, there was a message from the hospital informing him that the baby was here. Born 11:45am, twenty-two inches, six pounds five ounces, light-brown complexion, strawberry blonde hair, and emerald green eyes. The message included a picture as well.

"Oh my god." Mike Exclaimed when he saw the picture. "He looks just like EJ. The two of them could pass as twins."

Ethan asked to see the picture, so Mike handed him the phone. "Almost," Ethan speculated. "EJ is a little lighter skinned, but they can definitely pass as brothers."

They got up and headed to their next class. On the way, Mike sent the others a text announcing the arrival of the baby. He also sent one to Marianne asking her to stay longer because he and Ethan wanted to stop by the hospital on the way home from school and see his son. Just before they reached their next class, he received a text from everyone congratulating him, plus one from Marianne. Congratulating him as well, and informing him that she could stay longer.

After school, the boys and Alonzo went to the hospital to visit their newest member. Unfortunately for Calvin and Keith, they weren't able to go, so they would see him when he come home.

They arrived on the maternity ward just as one of the nurses was putting him in his bassinette. Mike introduced himself and the others, stating that he was the father, then asked if he could hold his son. Once the nurse saw his driver's license, proving his identity, she allowed it.

He held his little boy with love and care, and the expertise of fatherhood, which had the nurse wondering if he was new to this. After a few more minutes of holding his bundle of joy, he handed him to Ethan.

As with Mike, Ethan held him with the expertise of parenthood, that had the nurse slowly surmising caring for an infant wasn't second hand knowledge for them. In fact, she was wondering if it was for any of them. By the time everyone had the chance to hold him, she had her answer.

On Thursday, Calvin and Keith woke at their usual time with mixed emotions. In one aspect, they were happy to be getting away from their parents' bigotry, where they can be themselves. In another, they were apprehensive about leaving home so soon in life, and starting out on their own. Unknown to everyone, Calvin was the most nervous of the two. He didn't think he did a good job in raising his brother, and will screw it up. He kept those thought to himself, so he wouldn't upset his brother on what was suppose to be a good day.

After breakfast, his parents left for work while the brothers were getting ready for school. Calvin waited fifteen minutes to make sure that the coast was clear before calling the others. Within Twenty minutes Andrew arrive, with the others following forty-five minutes later with a U-Haul truck.

They began in Calvin's room since it was before Keith's. While the adults and older boys were loading the truck, the younger boys were packing boxes, while EJ was sleeping on the Mason's sofa. Within two hours, both rooms were empty, and they were heading to the new house.

Pulling into the driveway, they noticed the furniture delivery truck had just arrived, and was knocking on the door. After unlocking the house, Calvin, gave them permission to begin unloading the truck, with he and Keith giving everyone directions of placement while pitching in to help.

Once they were done, they headed across the street. Mike unlocked the door; and the whole process began again. Afterwards, the delivery guys left, and the others broke for some tacos for lunch. Although summer was over, it was still moderately warm outside, so the windows was partly open.

When they were finished eating, the guys relaxed to let their food digest before getting back to work. To everyone unexpected surprise, Calvin made an announcement. "I'd like to thank everyone for their help with everything. The guys already know this, so I'll now tell the others since it all began with me." The last statement was said while looking directly at Andrew.

"You see, I started having feelings for Mike around the same time that he and Ethan started having feelings for each other. With my parents being the way they are, and having my little brother, I had to deny who I really was. I knew Ethan would have Mike and you guys, but Keith only have me, and I have to make some hard decisions. So, denying who I really was, I began resenting my parents for putting me in those circumstances. I just want to thank everyone for their help. Now I'm free to be myself and so is Keith." Once again, the last part was said while looking at Andrew.

Just then, Mike leaned over and whispered to Andrew. "Listen closely." He told him. "He giving you a message, and is hoping that you'll take him up on it."

"And have him kick my ass for it." Andrew retorted. "I don't think so; I'll keep secretly loving him." He mumbled to himself, or so he thought.

However, Mike heard him, and so did Ethan. They knew they have to talk to Calvin and convince him to take charge of the relationship. Both boys can see that Calvin is the more dominant one of the two and need to call some, if not more, of the shots. Their opportunity came when Andrew stepped away to use the bathroom just before they went back to work. As soon as he was gone, they both confirmed what they heard him say. "Like I told you before, you have to be the one who makes the first move, because it's obvious that he's too scare. He wants to go out with you as much as you want to go out with him." Mike reiterated.

"I'll make my move soon when he least expects it." Calvin replied with a mischievous grin, but said no more.

The rest of the afternoon was spent in getting the houses ready for its occupants. Around three thirty, both houses were ready, so the guys went grocery shopping.

They returned and helped put everything away. Afterwards, Ethan stayed to make dinner, while Mike went with the dads to pick up EJ. The others left as well because they had to get home for dinner too. Andrew however, left a half an hour earlier because he had to get to work.

The rest of the day was laid back for all except for one set of parents. When they arrived home, Berry and Maggie Mason were upset and angry to find the house empty. Berry Mason knew he needed to talk to Calvin because lately he was becoming more defiance and standoffish, and they were getting fed up with it. Keith was getting just as defiance and standoffish as well, but they just saw it as him emulating his brother's actions. Keith will follow instructions and comply to any orders given to him by Calvin, before complying to what his parents tell him to do, and that's is something that they have to put a stop to before they lose control of their boys.

Later in the night Maggie was beginning to get angrier mixed with a little worried. Her boys had never been out this late without calling home, and she wanted to know if they were alright or not. Like all mothers, she don't understand when the children not inform their parents of their whereabouts.

Early Friday morning, Mike and Ethan was awakened by a cry of an infant. While Ethan went to check on EJ, Mike went to the kitchen to make breakfast. The last platter was just being put on the table when Ethan walked in and joined him. Turns out that EJ was hungry and needed his diaper changed.

Just as they finished clearing the table, Marianne arrived, shortly followed by the dads with Nicholas and DeAngelo. A minute later, Calvin and Keith knocked on the door asking if they were ready for school which was a surprise to Marianne. She didn't know that the boys had worked out their differences.

Calvin had picked today to cut all ties with Scott and Phillip and wanted to tell the guys. He knew they wanted to witness the showdown between Calvin, Scott, and Phillip. They couldn't wait to see what Scott and Phillip get what they have coming to them. Everyone said goodbye to Marianne then left for school.

No sooner had they arrived when Adrian dropped off Alonzo. Approaching the SUV, they said good morning and told him of Calvin's plot to break ties with the two boys, plus get Alonzo before going inside. Adrian like their idea, but did insist they be on alert for any revenge. "I wouldn't put it pass them to retaliate for being embarrassed in front of their peers."

They assured him they will before going inside, while Adrian headed to the office. After purchasing their food and juice, they found a table   to sit. A few minutes later, they were joined by Andrew. That gave them time to tell him of the plan.

Just as they finished telling him, Scott and Phillip walked in the lunchroom and saw them sitting together. "What's going on guys? Why the hell are you sitting with them?"   Phillip asked ballistically.

"What does it look like? We having breakfast before class like we always do." Calvin replied sarcastically.

"I knew you were a faggot lover." Intervened Scott. "We should've kicked your ass months ago."

Before Calvin could stand, Andrew stopped him by squeezing his upper leg. "Name the place and time. I like to see you two try, then you'll see how a faggot lover can kick ass." The threat in his eyes was unmistakable.

"We'll see about that." They said before stomping off.

"We sure will." Calvin retorted before they got out of hearing range, leaving the others smiling at their expense.

Five minutes later, the bell rang to begin school. Once they threw away their trash, they headed to class with other students wondering what was going on between them and Scott and Phillip. Throughout the day, the two boys kept making homophobic remarks every time they encountered the gang which made the day seem to drag on. However, they paid them no attention. By the end of school, not only was Calvin ready to go off on them, but so was Mike and Ethan.

As it was agreed upon, Andrew followed the brothers to their house to help with the preparations for the party. While doing their homework, Andrew got started on preparing the food with help from Calvin. Keith on the other hand, laid out some snacks and drinks to nibble on, and turned on the stereo.

When everyone Arrived, they were surprised to see Andrew in the kitchen cooking and queried Calvin on it. "You may remember, he offered to make our first meal when we moved, so he's keeping his promise. Don't worry, he has plenty of help. Keith and I give him a hand when he needs it."

"How did it go in school?" Adrian asked the boys, wanting to know. "I know those boys couldn't have pleased at being embarrassed in front of everyone."

The boys giggled at that question. "Fine," Ethan remarked. "Once Scott and Phillip realized that Calvin wasn't scared of them, they stomped away angry."

"Then I want you boys to be aware of what's going on there, especially you Calvin." Adrian warned them. "I don't think this is over by a long shot, and they will want revenge whenever they can get one of you alone."

The other adults agreed and the boys agreed to keep their eyes and ears open for any sign of trouble, although Calvin didn't think there will be any. "They'll no problem for me. I can handle both of them on my own even if they use any weapons."

"Still, be prepare for anything." DMoney caution them. "You never know what they may have up their sleeves; something tells me they won't be fighting fare and will have some backup around just in case they need it."

Calvin nodded. "I have no doubt they will have backup close by. They can't stand against me one on one, that's why I was the leader of the group."

After a few more minutes of talking, Calvin excused himself to check on Andrew's process in the kitchen. Meanwhile, the other boys played a video game or dance to the music, while the adults continued their conversation and tended to the little ones. Fifteen minutes later he returned with Andrew and joined Mike and Ethan in dancing. The two couples moved in sync with one another like they been dancing with their partner all their lives. Soon the others joined them, and it became a mass of bodies bumping and grinding with occasional breaks here and there to check om other provisions.

Due to the help from Calvin, Andrew had everything ready and in warming trays earlier than excepted. That way it will stay warm for people to have seconds if they wanted which some did. By six thirty; they were sitting down to eat in couples which Keith next to Alonzo, and Andrew next to Calvin. After the first bite, there was the chorus of `great meal Andrew, `this is great, `this is delicious, and many other complementing him on the food and a great job he did making it.

"If you always make food this good, you can cook for me anytime." Calvin smiled that made Andrew's face turn a nice shade of crimson. "Now I can't wait to see how good dessert will taste." That only made Andrew blush even more.

Mike and Ethan smiled at their interaction, and so did the adults who had their suspicions. The four younger teens rolled their eyes in exasperation, leaving Theo the only one not knowing what was going on.

Conversation was upbeat and lively with everyone avoiding talking about school or work. They did however, talk about the brothers' parents and what they will do when they realize the boys had left home. Not one person doubted they will, it was just the case of when?  Keith thought it will be by Tuesday, but Calvin thought Sunday. He warned his brother to expect to see their father waiting for them at school on Monday when they get out. He then described his plan to avoid him from finding out where they live a little while longer. The others listened and offered to help in any way they could, especially with the two boys lurking around to cause trouble for them. When they were finished eating, Calvin and Keith cleared the table while Andrew brought out the dessert after finding out who wanted chocolate syrup, whipped cream, or both.

After dinner, they adjourned to the living room to relax and continue their conversation and let their food digest. On the way in, Alonzo pulled his dads to the side. "Can I stay with Keith tonight since we'll be up this way tomorrow?"

Both fathers said they have no problem with it, as long as Keith say he can, and Calvin gives his permission. Alonzo told them he already asked and Calvin said yes. Adrian told him he'll bring him some clothes to change into before the party.

An hour later, everyone said they had to get going so they can put the little ones to bed. After thanking the brothers for a good time and great dinner, they grabbed their coats and began to leave. Once they were gone, Calvin, Keith, Alonzo, and Andrew who took Calvin invitation to stay the night, finished the cleaning before heading to bed.

When they were upstairs, Keith took Alonzo's hand and led him to his room, with Calvin doing the same with Andrew. After discussing the arrangements, all four undressed before climbing into bed in their normal sleepwear. Soon all four was drifting off to sleep knowing their heart was where it belongs.

The End...

Writer's Corner:

Welcome back one and all to another chapter of Where My Heart Belongs. I hope you had enjoyed reading this chapter as much as I did writing it. Now let's get to the summary of this chapter, shall we?

We finally reached the end of book 1, but not the story. Book 2 is being worked on now, but I had to put it on hold until book 1 was finished. Book 1 was just the introduction of the story.  Book 2 will be out hopefully soon and really get into the story.

At last Gabriel put his family before his mother, but will he continue? Because if he doesn't, he's going to have one very pissed off partner and friends. Not to mention boys.

We got more of a look into Calvin and Keith's life and what they're up against at home. Calvin believes that he can handle his father but is worried about his brother. I hope he returns to his martial arts class and Keith joins him.

It looks like Mike and Ethan had taken on more responsibilities, but can they handle it? Only time will tell. They certainly have all the help they need to get through it.

A new character was introduced in this chapter, and chapter 7. Can anyone guess who it is?  Here's a hint, he's been mentioned in previous chapters. I'm thinking about doing a story involving him, but had not decided on it yet.

It looks like something between Calvin and Andrew is beginning to form, or is it?

Finally, Alonzo and Keith are together. What obstacles will they have to get through, and will the relationship last?

We now have six people who are not in a happy mood. What will they do to get their revenge, and on who? All of these questions, and others will be answered in book 2 of Where My Heart Belongs.

If I had missed anything in my corner, I hope my editor will catch it in her corner. I need to get started on writing the next chapter for you guys to enjoy reading.

So much is going on and not enough time to write it all out! New plots are going to open and some will close. Keep reading the future chapters and enjoy! Please let me know how I'm doing. I look forward to hearing your comments and suggestions at {superstar97@comcast.net} thanks.
