It's a great site and enjoyed by so many of us. Thank you. ____________________________________________________________________________ "Where the FUCK have you BEEN?" _______________________________________________________________________________ As there was no possibility of looking for Lee again that night, he had allowed himself to be led into a drunken state by Trevor who bought the rest of those staying at the hotel into the celebration as well. There were lots of slaps on the back, lots of strangers saying all sorts of nice things and the main man getting more and more pissed. In the end Tommy forgot what it was all about and when eventually someone got him to his room, fell on his bed and passed out. The following morning, or to be more precise, just before lunch time he got to reception to be given a note from Trevor who promised to call him as soon as he got back to his hospital and he hoped with some good news. Tommy spent the rest of the day getting over the previous one and for the first time since he had joined the Army was in fact quite useless to defend himself let alone anything else. He stayed in his room feeling sorry for himself and dozing off. He was asleep when his phone rang. It was Trevor. "Tommy, Lee is HERE and he is recovering very well, but has had a bad time, he is very susceptible to the slightest infection it seems. The nurses are worried though as all he does is sit in his room and stares out of the window looking for you! I think you should get up here as quickly as possible. I just know he will be fine when you do. He constantly asks if we have heard anything about you. You must be very close." Tommy was concentrating as never before as the tears cascaded down his face. "Tommy? You there?" Tommy managed to get himself together. "I'm leaving now Trevor. Don't tell him i'm coming I just want to go to his room. Is that ok?" "I would never say no to a VC, now would I!" Tommy had forgotten he was one and wondered what Lee would say about it. Hang over now completely cured Tommy got ready to go to the one person in his life he had been prepared to give his own for. It took him all night to get to Ely in Cambridgeshire and when he got to the hospital Trevor gave him the use of a bathroom to make himself presentable before going to Lee's room. When he was dressed he went to Trevor's office. "Ready Tommy? You certainly look good, now lets get you to Lee. I will go in and speak to him and when I go I will leave the door open for you." Trevor smiled at Tommy as he came out of Lee's room and walked off back to his office. Tommy pushed the door open, stepped inside and quietly closed it behind him. Lee was sitting down with his back to him looking out of the window. He stood there for sometime just looking at the back of Lee's head. He knew his first words would let Lee know who was behind him. "Hello, your cuntship!" Tommy saw him stiffen and very slowly stood up and turn round. They stood facing one another Lee not believing who he was looking at. He said Tommy's name over and over again, but nothing came out, just mouthing his name. Then, BOOM! "Where the FUCK have you BEEN?" They flew into one another's arms and stayed like that for a very VERY long time. The tears flowed and neither of them could or indeed were able to stop them. Gradually they parted slightly and just stared at one another. Tommy lent over and there we will have to leave them for quite some time as they kissed and were once again back where they would always be, together. "I thought you were dead Tommy. I just could not think of anything else in the end. I had lost all hope. Where the fuck HAVE you been anyway?" "Looking for you. I thought you were dead as well. It was only luck meeting Trevor that I found you and you look beautiful by the way. I have been to every hospital in London hoping you would be in one of them, to the Records office and even walked round your area in Lewisham. Trust you to be different and get an RAF one instead." Once again they cuddled together and you will just have to wait until they finish. "You look pretty good yourself. BLOODY HELL! You a Major now? What did you do to get that, fuck Smiffy?" "Monty promoted me, but before I tell you about anything I need more kisses." Half hour later they stopped. They sat on the bed and Tommy went through the whole thing leaving out his particular part and what he had done to get them out of the attack. Trevor agreed to discharge Lee when he was told they would be going to Dorset and Lee could be treated down there, they badly needed the bed anyway, but Tommy had to phone the hotel first. "We are full as you know Major and not a room available let alone a bed and sir, it IS an officers hotel." "Yes I know all that, but Sergeant Thompson is being discharged under my care and if he has to sleep in my room I will just have to put up with it. I'm sure he will be fine on the floor." Tommy loved the look Lee was giving him, they were back to normal now. "It will only be for one night anyway, we are going away to stay with Lord Hunter Morton in Dorset for a while." Tommy, being a VC, a Major and name dropping Lord Hunter Morton, the hotel's objections had no chance. They said fond farewells to Trevor and the taxi took them to the station, Lee did not stop talking for the two hours it took to get to London in the packed compartment on the train. Tommy just sat there replying when he thought he needed to and fighting the urge to kiss him to shut him up. When they got to the hotel it became obvious to Lee that Tommy was being treated as though he had diamonds dropping out of his ass and Lee kept looking at him as one then another member of staff or guest came up to him to shake hands and congratulate him. When finally they got to their room and even though Lee wanted more kisses, he needed to know what all the fuss was about. "Tommy, it's like they realised you are the real King George and not the one in Buck House. What's going on? I know fucking well something is." Tommy went to a drawer and took the letter out and handed it to Lee. They were sitting on the bed and it took Lee twice to read the letter and let the contents of it sink in. He put it down and looked at Tommy. "Right you sod, now tell me what REALLY happened out there and DONT bullshit me." Half hour later Tommy finished and let Lee think it all through. For once, in fact most probably for the first time ever, Lee was lost for words and just cuddled into Tommy. They laid down and as soon as they did fell fast asleep, still fully dressed. The stress of the past three and a half months had drained the pair of them. A highly excited Edward stood outside the front of the manor with Cornwallis sitting next to him waiting for the car to come up the drive with Tommy and Lee in it. They had come back from Scotland early when they found out Tommy had found Lee and they were going to the Manor. It was highly emotional and very private to them. They went into the house and talked for hours each of them telling their own story. Tommy's award of the VC had been spread all over the papers and Edward and Cornwallis just congratulated him without pressuring Tommy to talk about it. Tommy wanted to go and see Wendy and for once wanted to be on his own. Lee more than understood and it would give him the opportunity to tell Edward and Cornwallis of Tommy's actions on that final day. He went to her field and she trotted over and they stayed for a long time snuggled up, each with their own thoughts. Wendy had been retired and would spend the rest of her days in this lovely field. Tommy climbed on her back and she slowly took them both around her retirement home each so happy to be back together. She got back where she had begun and Tommy got off and with one more cuddle around her massive neck kissed her head and went back indoors. Wendy watched Tommy all the way until he went out of sight, then went back to grazing. She just knew Tommy would not bugger off again and would come to see her every day now. The conversation went back to that day and they went through it again , not particularly Tommy's part, the whole thing. "Why did they not fire on us before we got into the woods do you think Tommy?" Cornwallis asked. He like Lee had little memory of it at all and only up to the point they were shot. "They thought we were part of a larger force and would fire on us anyway when we came out, but as there was no other force and they knew we would be pinned down, opened up thinking it would be a matter of time before they finished us. When you think about it, that saved a lot more casualties. Their Commander was not in the same class as Smiffy obviously." "They did not know you were there Tommy." Lee said proudly. "Bullshit, what they did not know was we had the bazooka and if it had not been for you, we would not have had it in the first place. YOU suggested we get one to test fire which was the only way we could get out of camp for Edward and Cornwallis to meet again and when we got back I just put it in the jeep. That bazooka and you Lee saved us." "Where's my fucking VC then!?" "You can have mine, come on it's time for a bath and bed. i'm bushed and need my beauty sleep and by the look of you, you could do with a lot more." They said good night and left father and son to themselves. They stood naked in front of one of the two windows over looking the gardens and the beautiful countryside beyond. Well, naked apart from the dressing around Lee middle that is. As always when they were like this Tommy was behind Lee with his arms wrapped round him, just taking in all that was before them. Lee lent against Tommy with his hands on Tommy's arms. Both knew the next step , but neither were in a hurry for it to happen, there was all the time in the world now. But the longer they stayed like that their nakedness bought them to the point that thoughts were beginning to leave the beauty of their view towards the beauty of each other. Tommy dropped his hand down to Lee and took his hardness and very gently stroked and at the same time kissed the top of his head, face and neck. Lee put one hand behind him and found Tommy as hard as he was and also stroked and like that bought one another even further towards the time when..................Tommy bent his knees and Lee took him to his back door, lent over slightly and Tommy did the rest and with one gentle but firm thrust they were joined together once again. Lee stood back up as Tommy stroked himself into his man oh so gently and slowly and like that bought both of them to the point that there was nowhere else to go and with one final stroke they both released their first peace time ejaculations. "Seems like Phillippe was right Tommy. I wonder if he is in heaven now looking down at us." Phillippe was in fact still very much alive and trying to get his hotel back to what it used to be. One thing he looked at often was the photo he had taken of Tommy and Lee when they stayed at the hotel and just KNEW they were home together. He smiled at it and put it back in pride of place on his Reception desk. They all went to Buckingham Palace to watch Tommy be presented with his Victoria Cross. It was all very formal and Lee loved seeing Tommy looking so uncomfortable, but at the same time could not be more proud. Tommy was the first to be called as it is tradition that anyone, regardless of rank or position, Victoria Cross recipients were honoured first. Tommy now had his Cross made from the bronze from two captured Russian cannons during the Battle of Balaclava in 1854 which turned out not to be Russian, but Chinese sold to the Russians! His Majesty shook Tommy's hand and hooked the Cross onto his chest and said some really nice things. Tommy replied and at the same time was aware of a young lady standing near the King, his eldest daughter Princess Elizabeth, now Queen Elizabeth the 2nd of Great Briton and a few other places! After that was all over they had to go straight to the French Embassy where Tommy and Lee were presented with the French Croix de Guerre (Cross of War) for their action in saving the lives of the villagers. That was the final part of the war as far as Tommy and Lee were concerned and as they drove back to Dorset, they were both heading towards their future. ________________________________________________________________________________ _____________ 1946 and beyond. Tommy and Lee would live permanently in their own apartment in the Manor. Tommy would go back to farming Torrent's farm which he and Lee now owned outright. They would live and work together every day of every week and neither would have it any other way. 1946 would see them both still very young, 23 although Lee was six months older and would never let Tommy forget it. He found a couple of jeeps that he worked on and got running, one for doing all the jobs that Wendy would have done in times past and the other one for their own transport until Tommy put his foot down and demanded they got a car, "with a proper roof AND doors!". Farming was changing rapidly with mechanisation and they ran the farm virtually on their own with extra hands coming in at harvest times. They were happy and very content as well as remaining deeply in love. They constructed a huge greenhouse over the foundations of the cottage and grew nothing but flowers in it which they would cut and take home to the Manor, but leaving a huge arrangement throughout the season in the "Torrent Vase" which stood on it's own plinth were the kitchen table used be, the centre of Torrent family life. Tommy also told Lee it was also for his Nan and that bought about a physical reward for Tommy down by the lake. At one time in his young life Tommy thought he would never get over the loss of the people he loved so much. That was until the "nuclear bomb" came into his life. There are a thousand stories that could be told about Lee's love for Tommy and would do just simple things he knew would make Tommy smile and cuddle him. Of course the crafty bugger knew it would also end up in the bath or bed and even the kitchen table a few times. By the time they were very old, 27 they could write their own "gay" version of the Kama Sutra with one Chapter devoted to the art of love making under a camouflage net! They did a lot of that during the times observing. Lee guessed after the war that Tommy fired more "rounds" out of his cock than he did a gun! Tommy came home this particular day and got to the lounge in their apartment and went to Lee to kiss him "hello." Lee had been doing some domestic stuff and was now dusting one of the sideboards which had two silver candelabra at both ends, two cut glass flower vases and a large photograph in a silver frame of them in parade uniform with their medals. Lee turned round and kissed his reason to live. He smiled at Tommy and saw his eyes moist over. He bent down and kissed Lee. "Thankyou my sweet man. Thankyou so much." Lee had chatted to Edward many times and eventually got the two matching silver photo frames he had been after for ages. In one was the photo of Tommy with his arm around William and both with huge smiles and with the head of Wendy in the frame as Edward had taken the photo and another one taken in the garden sitting together after that wonderful time they had together before William went to heaven. "Tommy. If that was me in the photo's and William standing here, he would do this as well. We both love you so much and we know you love us equally. I just wanted to say that." Tommy could say nothing and stood for ages just holding Lee tight and loved him even more if that was indeed possible. Cornwallis would make a full recovery and take over the management of the estate leaving Edward to retire and live in total peace and enjoy his new life with his son and the two "extras" as he jokingly referred to them. He also met and fell madly in love with a most beautiful women. Felicity was a stunning lady with a very open mind regarding her husbands occasional need to spend a weekend on his own in London. The risks were there, but unfounded. They produced three wonderful children who shared the same Godfathers who would spoil them rotten and then hand them over to Grandpa who would spoil them even more. Grandpa would then hand them back to their parents who would be pulling their hair out trying to regain some sort of family discipline. Edward, Tommy and Lee blamed each other of course and although threatened with all sorts of violence, you could not find a happier family in the whole of Briton. Tommy, Lee and Cornwallis would get back in uniform at times, with others, during memorial parades one of which was at the front of the village church and the first world war memorial cross which now bore the names of the four killed from the village in this war. Fred Partridge's name was one of them. He had lost his life on his eighth convoy escort in the Atlantic. Writers and film people tried to get Tommy to tell his story and make a film about him which he refused, but after Lee had gone on and on about it, mainly because the man behind the hero would be recognised, Tommy wrote his own story, but not for many years. Lee never changed and continued to put his foot in it on many occasions which only caused the family to love him even more, not least the one who loved him beyond all love. Lee, as he has often done, has the last word here as well. It was a word he could never remember in the early years and STILL got it wrong! All the family were taking a walk after their Sunday lunch, all three new Hunter Morton's were with them and aged 3, 2 and 1 at the time. They stopped and looked over the beautiful country side for a while. Grandson Edward held Grandpa's hand, two year old daughter Katherine held Tommy's who also had an arm around Lee's shoulders, Lee had their new Godson in his arms telling Cornwallis junior not to forget that he was the most important Godfather because he was older and so therefore had to be wiser than "that bloke." The child's parents stood arm in arm smiling at the others and like Edward and Tommy would soon be in fits of laughter. Cornwallis had by now stopped his solo trips to London. "It is so beautiful isn't it?" Tommy said "And even though we all suffered so much loss, it was a fight we won against the odds don't you think Lee?" Lee was still talking to little Cornwallis, who incidentally was fast asleep, and not paying particular attention as usual. "Yes, your Lordship!"
