The title is not an original title of mine. With that said, I hope you enjoy.... When someone dies in the grip of a powerful rage.... A curse is born. The curse gathers in that place of death. Those who encounter it will be consumed by its fury... Three teenagers broke into the Hilton School for boys. It had been closed down due to odd occurrences. "Who said that I was afraid?" Casey asked his friends as they walked threw the deserted halls. "I thought you would be," Max said with a smile. "You are the pussy of the group." "Fuck you," Casey said pushing his friend. Sean was the only one who hadn't moved from the doorway. "Guys, maybe we should go," He said and they turned back to face him. "Don't tell me you are afraid?" Casey asked amused. "Something doesn't feel right," Sean said. "Aw, come on big baby," Max teased. "Want me to hold your hand?" "Shut up," Sean said and he stepped slowly inside. "Dude, we should set up a fort or something in here," Max said looking around. "And how old are you?" Casey asked him. "Screw you," Max said and walked up the steps to the next level. "Where are you going?" Sean asked him. Max turned around. "Exploring," Max said folding his arm. "Is there a problem with me wanting to explore?" "I think we should go," Sean said. Casey shook his head. "You leave and we'll catch up," He said and then turned to Max. "Race ya?" "Bring it," Max said and they rushed up the steps. Sean sighed and sat on a step. "Dude, I can't believe this was a school," Casey said. "This is like paradise. I could actually like school if I went here." "I agree," Max said looking in a room. "Their bedrooms are bigger than mine. I might just sleep here overnight." "I wonder why they closed this place down?" Casey asked as they heard a scream. "Was that Sean?" Max asked looking at Casey. "Who else?" Casey asked rhetorically. "He really wants to leave, huh?" "I want to look around some more," Max said. "Go check on him." "Okay, chief," Casey said heading back downstairs. "They had a game room here?" Max asked looking inside a room. "DAMN!" "Sean?" Casey called out. He didn't see his friend. "Sean?" He stopped when he saw one of Sean's shoes on the floor. "Real funny. Where the hell are you?" "No please don't," Sean screamed and Casey found him in the mess hall. "Sean, what's wrong?" Casey asked getting worried. Sean had peed his pants. He was pointing to something in front of him. "I don't see anything, bud?" "Please," Sean said and Casey saw a black cloud form above. "What the hell?" Max asked as he walked towards them. "I think we need to go," Casey said as he struggled to pull Sean up. "Now!" "Shit," Max said as the cloud looked as if it were forming a body. "Come on," Casey said pulling Sean after him. The three ran towards the door they had left open but it slammed shut just before they reached it. "Damn! It's locked." Sean and Casey turned around and couldn't speak out of fear of what they saw behind Max. "What?" He asked amused by the looks on their faces. He turned around and gasped as he saw a demonic looking boy standing directly in front of him. ***************************************************************** "Let's have a horror movie night," Josh said to me as we stood at my locker with Bryce. "Isn't that something fat girls do when they don't have a man?" Bryce asked and I laughed. "Shut up," I said. "That sounds like fun, Josh." "What sounds fun?" Rusty asked walking up to us. "Horror movie night," Bryce explained after doing their little handshake. "Which you are not invited to," I immediately added. "I didn't wanna come anyway," He said. "After The Gentleman, I had enough of horror for awhile." "Who or what is The Gentlemen?" Josh asked curiously. "Movie," I said at the same time Bryce said television show. "Mini-series," we both corrected. Josh shook his head. "I see," He said with a smile. "So Bryce are you in?" "Yeah, I'm gonna have to go with my boy," He replied. "I had enough horror on Halloween with Wendigos." Josh opened his mouth to say something. "Too hard to explain." "You two suck," I said. "I'm in, Josh." "Looks like it's just the two of us," He said and I smiled. Rusty immediately spoke up. "I changed my mind," He said. "I think I want to do it after all." "Too late," I said walking off with Josh. "We so have to get Texas chainsaw Massacre." "Am I sensing jealousy?" Bryce asked as Rusty brooded. "No wonder you aren't an empath," He said rolling his eyes. "You suck at reading emotions." "Whatever," Bryce said with a laugh. They headed to gym together. ***************************************************************** ".... The Three boys names are Casey Donovan, Sean Parker, and Maxwell Lewis," The reporter said as Caleb sat surfing the web. "They are said to be best friends and the parents of the boys figure they must all be together." "Stupid kids," Caleb said briefly looking at the screen. He looked back up because he recognized Casey Donovan. "Oh my god." "If you know where any of the boys are, San Diego police are asking that you call your local police Department," The reporter finished. Caleb logged off the Internet, cut the television off, and headed out the door on his way to the Donovan residence. **************************************************************** As I drove past this old abandon school I got a vibe. I stopped the car and climbed out of the car. The vibe got stronger with every step. I walked towards the door. My hand touched the door and I felt a rush. Images flash through my head. "Nana, Nana boo-boo, You can't catch me," The boy said in my vision. He and another boy ran around inside the school. They couldn't be more than nine. "Tyler stop," The little boy said stopping. I gasped as a black aura engulfed Tyler. "Dustin," Tyler yelled as he dropped to the ground. He was lifeless. Dustin screamed loudly. The vision ended but the screaming didn't. It wasn't Dustin and it was coming from inside the school. I pushed inside the school and I saw that same black aura standing right in front of me. "Oh my god," I said as it was chasing a boy. "Hey!" The boy ran towards me. "Help me," He said to me. "My name is Cody," I said to him. "What's yours?" "Casey," He said. I smiled at him to reassure him. "Get behind me," I said as I tried to figure out how the hell I could save him. "When I say run...I want you to run. Okay?" "Okay," he said nervously. I took a deep breath. "1...2...3," I said and the boy ran out the door. I was about to run but I couldn't move. I could feel anger. Pain. Suffering. The doors slammed shut trapping me inside. "Cody?" Casey called outside the door. The Aura stood in front of me. "Aw crap," I said taking running up the stairs. ***************************************************************** "Caleb," Mrs. Donovan said as Rusty and Bryce stood behind him. "Deborah," He said kissing her cheek. "I heard about Casey." "Thank you for coming," She said allowing them into her home. "Who are these boys?" "I'm Bryce, Ma'am," He said, "And this is Rusty." "Hello," He said as his cellphone rung. "Oh, I'm sorry. I better take this." "So, what do you know about his disappearance?" Caleb asked as they all sat down. "Just that he and the other boys went out to play and never came back home," She said trying not to cry. "Paul is on his way back from a business trip. God, I told Casey not to go near that school." "What school?" Bryce asked her. She sighed. "Cody, where are you?" Rusty asked me. He stood outside the home. "I am trapped in a school," I said to him. "Apparently, some little boy was trapped in here with some type of spirit or something." "Well, Bryce, Caleb, and I are here at the Donovan residence," Rusty said. "Apparently, there son, Casey is missing." "Casey?" I asked him. "That was the boy's name that was here." "Are you sure it was Casey?" Rusty asked me. "How did you know my name?" Casey asked standing in front of Rusty. "I'm quite sure," I said to him as I opened the door to find two boys in the closet. "Oh, my god." "I found Casey," Rusty said to me. "And I found two dead boys," I said as they stared with lifeless eyes. "Call you back," He said hanging up. "Hey, you're Casey?" "Who are you?" Casey asked defensively. "My name is Rusty," He said with a smile. "You're mom and everybody is real worried about you." "You should be worried about that Cody guy instead," He said to Rusty. "He is gonna die." ***************************************************************** I tried to enter the minds of the boys but as I suspected there was no lifeline. "Damn it," I said as I sensed something cold coming around me. I turned around to see the aura. I used my telepathy to enter its mind. I gasped as I felt it enter my body. I could see what it saw through its eyes. It was in the lobby of the school. "I'm gonna make a new friend," Casey said opening a book. He started speaking in some odd language. Suddenly, things started shaking. The black aura appeared in front of him. "Oh no! Where is Kenny?" "Get out," The Aura screamed and a rush of wind knocked Casey out the school. Then the vision took a turn and a little boy stood in the middle of a room chained the wall. I could tell it was Kenny. There was a fire. I suddenly know what was going on. Then the vision ended a wind sent me flying into a wall. The Aura turned into the body of Kenny. "I know what happened to you," I said to him. "But what is it that you want?" "Bring...Casey," he said to me. "Make me...go back." "Okay," I said pulling out my cellphone. ***************************************************************** Bryce dried his hands on a towel in the bathroom and opened the door. Casey had came back and all was well. Now they had to figure out how to rescue me. He walked out and heard odd chanting. He walked to the sound of the voice coming from Casey's room. "Casey?" Bryce asked pushing the door back. He gasped as he saw what was going on. Knives were floating around in the air. "Oh my god!" "Get out," Casey said and one knife was hurled at Bryce. Caleb, behind Bryce, quickly used his telekinesis to send the knife into the wall. "Thank god," Bryce said to him. He quickly put Casey on ice. "The little dude is doing witchcraft," Rusty said walking up behind the two. "Cody called and he connected with the spirit Casey conjured." "But why?" Bryce asked him. "He wanted to have a friend that hurt some bullies he didn't like," Caleb said. "And he conjured the spirit of a boy who died in a fire at the school." "So what now?" Bryce asked. "We give the spirit what it wants," Rusty said and pointed at Casey. "Him." ***************************************************************** "My name is Cody," I said to Kenny. "I'm 16. How old are...were...you?" "9," He said sadly. "You're really nice to help me." "Well, you are trapping me against my will," I joked. "But it's what I do." "Can I ask you a personal question?" He asked me. I nodded. "What makes you able to know...what I'm thinking." "I have this gift," I said to him. "I got a few weeks ago and I can read my minds and feel others emotions." "It sounds fun," He said smiling for the first time. "It's a lot sadder than you think," I said to him. "I can feel good emotions. But also, I can feel sad emotions. Like what you are feeling right now." "Well, at least you know how I feel," he said to me. "Can I do something real quick?" I asked him. "I promise it won't hurt one bit." "I trust you," he said. "Close your eyes and hold my hands," I said to him. He grabbed my head and I entered his mind to find out what happened. "I am so sorry that had to happen to you." "Well, I was a bad boy," Kenny said to me. They had chained him to the wall when he had got sick at dinner. "No, Kenny," I said to him. "You are not a bad boy. They were bad people. Give me a hug." "Cody?" Caleb asked as they entered the school. "Let me go," Casey said struggling from the ropes that they bound him in. "Look, kid, this is all your fault," Rusty said. "Now you have to deal with the consequences." I walked down the steps holding Kenny's hand. "Don't let him hurt me," Casey said chanting a spell. Rusty, under a spell, shot a fireball at the ropes breaking him free. Bryce tried to freeze him but Rusty threw a fireball at him. Bryce hit the ground as Caleb dodged balls of fire being thrown at him. "Kenny no," I said as he entered the body of Casey. Something was happening inside of the two and Casey collapsed on the ground. Rusty rushed over to Bryce. "Dude, I'm sorry," He said looking at his arm. "It's just a scratch," Bryce said freezing Rusty's arm. "Shit," Rusty said in pain. Kenny looked down at Casey. "Everything is gonna be okay," He said. "Just ask Cody." "Casey," Caleb said walking over to him. Casey cried in his arm. "I have a surprise for you," Kenny said and I saw the other boys walking down the steps. "Thank you," I said hugging him. "Thank you," He said tears streaming down his face. ***************************************************************** I drove home from school and noticed some boys roughing up what look like Casey. "Bastards," I said climbing out the car. I sent an empathic vision of a burly looking man. "Leave him alone." "Run," They yelled out as they ran. I laughed at them. Casey laughed. "Thanks," Casey said to me. "They were trying to take my lunch money." "It's cool," I said. "Just promise me no more spells." "I promise," He said with a happy smile. ***************************************************************** Chosen Episode Three is now up? So what do you think? Did you like it? In episode Four, The boys are forced to stop a demon that is intent on creating the perfect girl using various body parts. Meanwhile, Bryce goes on a date with a girl who ends up being a target. By the way, I know the grudge is an really horrible movie. I watched it and I thought about doing it for my story. I wanted to put my own spin on it. And hopefully it's better
