Al sat quietly trying to concentrate, waiting. Waiting was a crucial part in a collection, not to mention the general danger that went with it. So he had expected the worst as usual and propped himself up in a good position where he could see down the whole row left and right and over the low tomb stones in front of him. He cleared his mind for the umpteenth time trying to let go of the loss he had suffered but his heart -- and, maybe more importantly so it seemed, his groin -- kept on reminding him by the painful and determent throbs they both emitted. Finally something happened. A bird landed on a nearby tree, Al looked up, "You" he simply said. The Raven looked down at him with deep black eyes and shuffled a little. "Do you mind" Al enquired sarcastically at the Raven who kept the piercing glare and shuffled again. "Look, Muninn. If you don't leave now I might be forced to make you leave and we both know that's not what we want" Al said threateningly returning the glare that Muninn had him in. Muninn Hopped again then glided to a nearby spire and made a low almost conspirative squawk. Al ignored him and got back to his self destructive thoughts. Muninn was getting very impatient, he flew back to the branch where he originally was gave a shuffle and low squawk then flew back to the spire. Al looked up, irritated to the point of throwing the nearest rock at the Raven who now appeared to be having a fit on top of the spire. When Muninn saw Al stand up he stopped, flew a little way further to another tomb stone and back to the spire and gave Al an enquiring look by tilting his head. Al couldn't help but smile at the almost comical scene of the mighty Muninn reduced to a hopping clown on a spire to get his attention. "You want me to follow you?" Al asked and Muninn ruffled his feathers and flew off again to the further tomb stone. "This better be worth it" Al said, deadly serious again. He cast a look around and saw that nothing had happened in the last three hours anyway, "why not follow him" he thought. Al set off after the Raven at a slow pace but realized he had to pick up his gait if he wanted to keep the Bird in sight. Just then Muninn stopped, well hidden in a pine tree, Al wouldn't have known that he had stopped if he didn't notice the following two things: A small bunch of twigs fell out of the tree in his face as he was looking up while he was walking looking for the Raven and there was a movement which caught his attention from the corner of his eye. Someone else was here, no there where two more. Al dropped behind the nearest cover he could find which happened to be the head stone for a Phillip Reynolds, the psychotic serial killer he was looking for. When he heard someone whimper. His train of thought distracted, he peered round to see what was going on. There in the gloom he saw several vampires attending to a victim they had caught, Al moved back undercover and whispered, "Vamps". Not at all concerned as who was he to interfere with the dealings of others, he looked up at Muninn and said "So what". This came out a little too loud and a couple of the vampires grunted when they herd it. Al quickly peered around the corner again, only this time five of the vampires were standing and that let him have a clear view of the tormented face that was still being fed upon by three others. Al jumped up, blinded by total rage he began running forward and yelled in despair "No!...." Chapter 1: The corridor was well lit, just glass office doors and a face brick motif lining the walls. Al was waiting patiently for the time to come. Another collection, the time always comes sooner or later. Fortunately for Al, tonight it was the former. The office door directly opposite him in the corridor opened and out came a suit. He was shaking his head and seemed very confused and rushed. Al stood dead still with a smirk on his face, it was all going smoothly for a change. Al waited patiently for him to close the door and walk all the way down the corridor and take the corner, then for the bell of the elevator to be sure he wasn't coming back. Al stepped forward briskly and boldly. He seemed to appear out of nowhere as he released the spirit that was keeping him invisible from any prying eyes like the ones of the man that just walked right past him. Taking two quick steps he grabbed the handle of the door to the office door in front of him and opened it, stepped inside and closed it quietly. Even the alarm wasn't set, the decoy had done its job well he thought, so Al made a mental note to reward him accordingly when all this business was over. He walked by memory of what the Shade had told him. All the way to the back, it was the second door from the end on the left. It was in here where the safe was that contained the item which he so longed for, for which he had so painstakingly prepared for. Pausing by the handle, Al waited before he entered wasting precious seconds listening incase the decoy had worn off or not and the suit came back to lock up like he was supposed to. No sound came back to him so he entered and made his way into the lavishly furnished office. No expense was spared on the décor of the office, from the solid oak desk which seemed to almost span the entire width of the room to the wall to wall carpets scattered with Persian rugs of the finest silks and the various sculptures that adorned selected areas. On the desk there where two monitors and an assortment of paper weights and pens that where meticulously placed in there correct places. Al ignored everything from the glass coffee table and the oriental swords upon it to the floor to ceiling bookshelves that lined the opposite walls running the length of the office. What he wanted was behind Rembrandt's "Philosopher in Meditation" at the back of the office behind the desk. It was the one of two paintings which the Shade had instructed him that hung on the back wall, along with the code to the safe that was hidden behind the masterpiece. He carefully pulled the painting back on its silent hinges that where cunningly secured in the wall he reached into his inside breast pocket and pulled out the piece of paper that had the combination to open the lock. "Not the easiest of tasks", he thought absent mindedly as he twisted the knob this way and that to open the safe, the blasted Shade conveyed the code to him in riddles that he had to decipher. The only downside to working with spirits is that they sometimes get a little carried away when speaking, Al reflected and with a snap of the locks opening he was brought back to reality as the safe glided smoothly open. Inside he was met with stacks of monies of different currencies and other odds and ends that the average man might find useless. Far from useless to Al's eye but just not as high on his priority list he saw orbs and ornate knifes and three books inscribed in another language on the spine. He rummaged through other odds and ends until he found a small velvet bag. "Bingo baby", Al whispered to himself as he gently opened it to verify it was what he came for then nodding with satisfaction, pulled the drawstrings closed. Now Al was the kind of guy who was goal orientated, he kept his eye on the target and nothing else. He knew all too well what could go wrong should you veer off the plan and try something else, but tonight and seeing everything was going so well, he really didn't see why he shouldn't do just that. So without any further hesitation he pocketed a small pile of One Hundred Rand notes into his back jeans pocket, turned on his heel and headed for the door at a healthy pace. Keeping his pace brisk he went straight for the exit doors, stepped into the corridor and closed the door behind him. "Thanks for waiting" he said to what seemed the world in general, then he assumed his casual lean against the wall and disappeared. And only in time, the bell of the elevator rang and he could hear the doors opening followed by running feet and the sound getting louder. The suit came speeding around the corner and in a frantic panic came dashing up the corridor saying over and over to himself, "What have I done? What have I done?" As the door infront of him slammed shut Al became visible again as he started off at a run. At the end of the corridor next to the the elevator he yanked open the door to the emergency stair well laughing as he went. Nothing quite gave him the rush that he felt of the chase, or so he thought for that was all about to change. Starting on the fifth floor of the offices he just burgled and running like a mad man on fire, Al skipped almost half a stair case at a time only to come to a dead stop on the first floor when the alarms signaled. "God damn it!" he cursed out loud wondering why he didn't close the safe and the painting perhaps buying him at least two more minutes. "Well Al, nothing for it" he braced himself as he coasted the last two sets of stairs and came crashing out into the lobby where two very alert security guards waited ready for answers to the ringing alarm. The thought of summoning some help crossed his mind but it was too late. They were already only a few meters apart and Al hadn't checked his step once, he flew at the first guard who clearly wasn't sure how to react and slammed his shoulder into his chest, Al bouncing off in a tight spin and letting his momentum carry him for the exit. The first guard doubled over, but the other security guard was there in his way and ready. Already off balance and moving at a fairly fast pace Al feigned a blow to the lower region leaving his head exposed and unprotected. The guard fell for it and swung high, Al let gravity and his momentum do the rest carrying him at a slide through the security check in point and under the turnstiles. Getting up as quickly as he could he ran through the front automatic doors that opened at his very presence just like magic. Al ran into the street letting the dark of night engulf him. He was far from trouble though, he had no car and planned on a few minutes extra to make it up to the busy main road one block away to catch a taxi and make it safely home. He sure wasn't expecting to make a run for it. Heading in the general direction for the main street of Green Point, Al knew there would be a lot of people there as it was month end and there where a few clubs here, this populated area would only buy him some time. Not certain safety but at least for him to get his bearings and make a plan on what to do. Al ran down the length of the block aiming for the first street to his right that would take him up to the well lit main road, just before he turned right he heard several cars start and rev in Office block's private car park. A new fear gripped him now knowing just how serious they where and he ran as fast as his feet carried him. Once on the main road he turned left towards the city centre in hope of catching a taxi or a ride there and loosing himself. But as fate would have it, there where no taxis in sight and two blocks back at the intersection of traffic lights, several black SUV's came speeding up from the back streets and split up randomly, some heading away from him towards the beaches and a what seemed like most of them turning left in his direction. Al felt a flutter of panic because he knew they would show no mercy should they catch him not to mention the public humiliation and ending up as a John Doe in the Weekend Papers the following morning. He had only but seconds before they passed him and he knew they wouldn't miss him, they had ways and means of locating someone, even in their rush. So Al did the only thing he could do, he mumbled a good luck charm and made a duck to his left into the last doorway that was on the pavement. Al found himself confronted by a beefy looking guy in a cheesy leather jacket as he entered the club. The bouncer just looked at him so he assumed there was nothing else to do but to walk on into the smoky interior, not concentrating just yet and his mind still on overdrive, instinct led him to the bar and he ordered a drink. A topless man with stylish tattoos shouted over the din asking him what he wanted to drink. "Say what?" Al shouted back "What you want to drink?" The barman asked. Al was a little taken aback that he had no shirt on but it didn't really phase him. "Hunters." Al replied. Keeping his order to something light, he had to keep his head or who knows what might just happen. The barman returned and placed the drink on the bar, Al patted his front pockets and remembered he left his wallet at home. Still searching he found the wad of cash in his back pocket, with a smile on his face he slipped it out and under the bar extracted a crisp One Hundred Rand note. He paid for his drink and the barman returned his change with a flash of pearly whites and a wink. Still oblivious to his environment Al pocketed all his change and concentrated on his drink bowing his head, the smile vanished abruptly from the barman's face and he attended the next screaming customer. Still at a loss for what to do Al brooded some more only to be interrupted a little later by an elderly gentleman. "Hi there handsome, you look a little troubled," the stranger approached him. Al snapped up his head and looked at the speaker, "Excuse me." he blurted. "Well I couldn't help but notice you looked so troubled. I was wondering if I could be of any assistance." the older man said, but the tone and intention of it was totally lost on Al for a second as he processed what was going on. He opened his mouth to reply but then the man's outfit caught his eye and he gave a quick glance up and down the intruders body, thought better and closed his mouth again. The man was wearing a black mesh vest which emphasized his perky nipples a little too much accompanied by his black leather pants and boots. Al's eyes came back to his face and noticed he was bald and had traces of mascara and eyeliner on and come to think of it his voice was a little on the soft and high pitched side. Al gave a chuckle at the predicament in which he found himself. "Um, no thanks," he managed to say with a smile not too big, "I'm just waiting for my, um... friend." "Oh, well can I buy you a drink in the mean time then." the Old man persisted. "No thank you." Al replied slowly shaking his cider can indicating he was okay. "Well maybe next time then." the Old man tried his last time, but still stayed. This time Al caught the underlying intention behind the tone set in his voice. "No thanks." He said more sternly. The Old man didn't even answer, he just waked away, another ego bruised. Al took a slow look around the room, there where gay men everywhere from Bears to Twinks and just about everything in-between. He smiled to himself thinking what a predicament he had gotten himself into. Now Al never thought himself gay, in fact he quite avoided the topic of sex entirely. Living the life of a hermit with a nice quite job at the libraries Book Maintenance Department seemed quite fine to him. It paid the bills and rent, he never really spoke to anyone and he often slipped out completely unnoticed to pursue any pressing matters of the craft. It was perfect and he was living the life he dreamed of since the influential age of 11 when he had his first encounter with a poltergeist. Ever since then he couldn't wait to break free from his conservative parents who wanted the "white picket fence" life style for him. Here on his own in Cape Town, there was enough hubbub over the ether for his liking and thirst for knowledge. Al brought his mind back to the present to think away out of this strangely enticing environment. He couldn't leave because there where several vehicles, with who knows how many people inside, speeding the streets searching for him. And then again he couldn't stay either because he was starting to feel something he'd never felt before... He had to get out or become unseen, "Yes." he thought. He would become invisible, it wasn't all that hard, he just had to summon the right kind of spirit to block off his thoughts and presence from his environment. But that didn't solve his problem. The club was packed and there was no place quiet enough to ride out the night. And to make matters worse, the people who he had just stolen the crystal from would probably have ethereal tactics of their own to find the crystal and him; Al was going to need more than just one spirit to sought out his problems. So he bought another drink from the barman and made his way to the dance floor. He must have looked very awkward because he tried very hard not to look at anyone, especially since just about every second or third guy wanted his attention. He was fresh meat. Al was a little self conscious about himself but he was far from bad looking which was evident from all the attention he was receiving. His all black attire gave him and added appeal which brought more spotlight. He was wearing snug black jeans with a plain black T-shirt, which happened to be one of his smaller ones so it fitted on the snug side. And over that he wore a light material black jacket which was slightly heavy to the left from his precious cargo. Once on the dace floor he wondered why he didn't decide to go to the bathrooms to do his summoning. He flashed a nervous smile here and there trying to avoid much attention which again didn't work well, instead fueled the attention givers efforts. So he gave up and tried to get on with what he was there for, to summon a few spirits to just get him through the night. The theory was sound, clubs and other busy and congested human locations are hot spots for spirits, and they gather there to pick on the weak and unsuspecting minds in the vicinity. So Al hung his head to concentrate and looked to be spaced out, his version of a trance dancer to House music. Swaying from side to side to give effect to his guise, he cast his mind out to find the correct spirits he needed for help. Al was setting up the third spirit with a pseudo motivation that it was a good thing now to be at the door and be a watch out for any peculiar people that might have intentions to harm him when he was rudely interrupted by a soft, yet firm grip on his chin. The strong hand raised his head to eye level and stopped. Al's eyes flung open wide in fury and his mouth opened to call the spirit he was dealing with to put this intruder asleep when his eyes focused and he froze. For a second he was convinced he was looking at a Demigod. The man in front of him was slightly taller than him, topless with well proportioned pectoral muscles and not a trace of hair to be seen. His hair was cropped stylishly and black as jet. His large eyes were hazel. No, dark brown, he couldn't be sure, they where as elusive as the meaning of the smirk that gracefully cut his face in two. Then, the dark olive-skinned figure spoke: "Hi there," the velvet words stroked Al's ears, the intruder was clearly a baritone, "Smile and enjoy yourself." He said and disappeared into the crowd of filthy sweating bodies. Absolutely lost, Al made his way back to the bar to order something much stronger. The night trudged on and Al was soon earning the reputation of "Ice Queen". From his perch at the bar he had the whole dance floor in sight and he kept a strict and lustful eye on this strange man that was so jovial moving from crowd to crowd on the floor laughing and pulling off some enticing moves. All the while he was constantly approached by various patrons trying to get his attention to hit it off with them. After a while and completely unaware of the subtleties of brushing someone off he just gave a stare that was charged with more than just 9mm bullets. After the last guy tried to win him over, an attractive boy at about twenty one tried to get his attention and Al finally lost track of the dance Demigod. Upset and drunk, mother nature was screaming for his attention. Reluctantly he made his way to the bathroom completely ignoring the young mand who was trying to win him over. "Finally," Greg shouted over the music to his catch for the evening, a cute twink that was also fairly new to the club scene."He's gone." "Who?" asked the Twink. "The Ice Queen who has not stopped looking at me from the bar" "Oh." The Twink really wasn't interested and was waiting for things to develop a little further between them. Greg was actually a little disappointed; he loved attention, all kinds. And secretly wondered where the Goth had gone too, he wasn't all that bad looking. Had he finally been picked up? In which case he would have to kick himself, he knew better than to rush a picking for NSA sex. Or had he left? Either one he wasn't sure, what he was sure of is that he needed the toilet. "Want a hit?" Greg whispered in his pick up's ear. "Sure." And just like that the Twink took a renewed interest in his partner. Greg wasn't trying to impress him, he just needed an excuse to let loose and forget about the Goth. Walking down the stairs to the toilets, Greg and the Twink stood in the line waiting for a cubical. When it was their turn the door in front of them unlocked but didn't open. Greg suspected another couple inside finishing up whatever they might have been doing, so he gave a respectable moment before he stepped forward to push open the door. Just before his hand touched the door it opened. Al wasn't feeling all to well. He hadn't drunk enough to through up, but he was well tipsy and well on his way if he had a few more. Composing himself in the cubical after relieving his bladder he made up his mind to leave and take his chances on the streets, which was stupid to say the least. Every heard of a successful Summoner that was tipsy or borderline drunk? He reached for the dead bolt and pulled it back. Taking a few more deep breaths to clear his mind, he reached for the handle and pulled it open. Greg stopped short and stared. The lighting in the toilets was a little better than the smoky dance floor. The Goth stood staring at him, he was just as shocked to see him there. The Goth was dressed all in black which was nice, different, but Greg silently gave thanks that he had no makeup or spikes that went with the usual stereotype. His hair was a little longer than average, but didn't hang in his eyes and wasn't feminine. The Goths features were soft yet manly too and the set of the shoulders almost looked warrior in stance. He gave off the effect that he might have been gay but defiantly a man and Greg couldn't tell if he was submissive or not, so many unidentifiable aspects which drew him so strongly to the man in front of him. Al opened the door only to be confronted by Mr. Demigod himself and a pang of disappointment surged through his stomach as he saw the partner lagging on his arm. Al sobered up immediately as the two of them mirrored each others expression of uncertainty with a shade of lust and shock all mixed in one. The Twink noticed this and made the first move to push Al aside to use the cubical. Immediately Greg pulled out of his stupor and assumed his confidant nonchalant exterior, but he didn't like what the Twink had done to this mystery man and hell, he couldn't even remember the Twinks name. When Greg got and idea. He sauntered the last few steps to cover the gap between them and whispered in Al's ear. "Come with me." Al shivered in anticipation to what that could possibly mean. His brain had shut down to all evaluation that he was in a gay club and that he was about to follow two other guys into a cubical, one of them being topless. He was following pure instinct, what he wanted, and didn't care about the consequences. The Twink was watching this all unfold and wasn't happy at all and he let it show on his face too. Greg entered the cubical followed closely by Al who had focused his eyes on the perfect body before him. The twink was standing expectantly for a line of coke when Greg took off his watch and pulled the back off and produced three scarlet tablets. "E?" The Twink asked scowling. "Why on earth would you want anything else." Greg said laughing as he put his watch back on and gave the Twink his. He popped his in his mouth and swallowed hard barely taking his eyes off Al, slowly undressing him in his mind. "You've ever done E?" Greg asked Al. Al just shook his head transfixed on Greg's eyes. "You want to try?" He prompted. This time Al nodded dumbly. Greg stepped closer so that their faces where inches apart, "May I?" he said in that velvet voice only a little husky this time. Al said nothing as Greg placed the last pill on the tip of his tongue and moved further forward. Greg's slightly open mouth met Al's in a slow wet embrace. Al wasn't sure what to do so he had to be prompted which made Greg all the hornier. From just this small show of uncertainty he was sure Al was inexperienced in other areas too. He nudged Al's lips open with his tongue careful not to drop the pill, as Al opened ready to receive the little gift Greg pushed slowly deeper not wanting to scare off the amateurish Goth. Al came forward to meet him opening his mouth further letting Greg gently explore, he didn't even know that he had swallowed the pill until it caught in his throat and he chocked and all the romance in the air evaporated. The twink sniggered and took advantage while he could, lest he be forgotten entirely. He moved closer to capitalize on the situation. He put his arms around Greg and said quietly: "This is how its done." and he practically devoured Greg's face. Greg pushed him away frowning trying to see if Al was alright. "You okay" he asked. "Yeah... Fine thanks" Al mustered between coughs. It took him a few minutes to come round and stand up only to see the other two kissing deeply, it was apparent that Greg wasn't enjoying himself, he was frowning trying to slow down the very hungry Twink who was making a slut of himself dry humping Greg and his hands running everywhere. Greg stole a glance at Al who had recovered fully now and stood one side on the opposite wall watching the porn movie unfold before him. Greg gently but forcibly removed the Twink from his face, gave him a quick smile and a wink and moved to take Al's hand. He pulled him closer for another kiss. As they embraced Al took on a little more enthusiasm kissing back. He wasn't quite sure what he was doing or where this was going, all he knew and needed to know at this point in time was that he was liking it. Liking it a lot. It tasted so good, felt so right that nothing else filled his mind other than kissing this strangely beautiful man. The Twink saw this and was starting to get angry so he tried to join in where he thought he could, but all he got was the occasional peck on the cheek followed by a wink and a smile from Greg, Al not even glancing his direction. Eventually he got fed up and left he cubical unnoticed. The only response that came from the entwined bodies was Greg's outstretched arm to close and re-bolt the door which quickly returned to feeling Al's muscle toned body. The time flew as they kissed, engrossed with each other and nothing else, it was not long before certain effects came over them. It came slowly and unnoticed, their breathing got heavier and kissing more intense and passionate. They held a little tighter when their hands moved over one another and began grinding their now full and rock hard erections against the other. Al was vaguely aware that he was doing this, that he was rubbing his dick all over another guy who was doing the same to him and couldn't help but think that it was wrong. As if reading his mind Greg soothed him with words of comfort. "Its okay," he mumbled into Al's ear "Just let go" he advised further. And all Al's worries just melted away as his mind went off the charts as he'd never felt it before. All his senses where working overtime and he didn't know where to focus until Greg felt for his belt and undid it, now he had somewhere to focus. "What you doing?" Al managed to breathe out although he knew full well what was probably about to happen. "Oh my God," he thought "this guy...is about to..." his thoughts where interrupted by a sensation he'd never felt before. Greg took Al's rock hard cock that was already screaming for more by leaking pre cum, he gently licked it off savoring the over powering saltiness on his tongue and before he could resist himself he swallowed all 16cm of Al's dick. Al gasped out loud and ran his hands over Greg's short hair letting the sensation shoot up his hands and into his arms to finish as a tingle on the back of his neck. Although Greg needed no guiding, his head was gently moved back and forth by Al's surprisingly strong hands as he needed more and worked himself towards a climax. Greg came up for some air and they kissed again while Al made a moaning noise of being deprived of such pleasure only to be enticed with a new sensational smell of his manhood on the lips of the other man. Greg guided Al's uncertain hands down to his hard bulge that spanned all the way to his tight hip in their tight confines. Immediately Greg saw the change in his expression and sympathized. "Look if you don't want to." "Shhh." Al interrupted him and unzipped his jeans, he pulled out a work of art of which he'd never seen, he never thought that a dick could look so enticing. As much as he wanted it, to take it and make it his, and take control, Greg again saw the uncertainty cross it face. Knowing full well that this indeed was his first time now with another man he smiled and shuddered in anticipation to the idea of guiding him, to breaking this wild colt under him and taking him for himself. "Wank me off." He skillfully suggested as to not letting him do something that was currently beyond his boundaries. So Al began, slowly at first, moving his hand up and down Greg's cut manhood, only gently exploring his balls from time to time with his delft fingers, getting to know the shape and feel of the hot rod that he had in his hand. As Al jerked him off, Greg moved his ambidextrous left hand to return the pleasure all the while their mouths were inter locked and constantly searching the new territory. Al could feel himself nearing his climax and Greg picked it up for he himself wasn't far off, for his first time he wasn't doing too bad at jerking him off, his hand moving skillfully up and down at a constant speed and not too hard on his naked head either, just right, just perfect. "Oh my God," Greg whispered, "I'm about to cum." As he breathed the words Al felt his cock flex a little too and then get hotter as jet after jet shot forward and that that got on Al's hands added to the lube on his cock and increased the pleasure. It was all too much for Al, having this hunk, this handsomely beautiful guy all to himself and being able to make him climax was just too much and he himself joined in the ejaculation, moaning as Greg licked his hear sending copious shivers of pleasure all over his body. After they had cleaned up and finally stopped kissing Al laughed nervously. "Did you enjoy that" Greg said teasingly. "More than you'd know" Al admitted. "Well there's more where that came from, if you'd be interested" "Ummm," Al replied not certain what to say, reality was settling in slowly, he was a loner, he let nobody in. "We'll see." he ended lamely, not knowing what else to say. "You're absolutely right, let's just take it a step at a time." Greg reached to open the door but stopped, "Gregory." He said. "I beg your pardon?" "Gregory," he repeated, smiling at the politeness to which the Goth replied. "My name is Gregory, but you can call me Greg." "Oh sorry, Alfred," Al let slip, and went scarlet for letting out his full name which he never did as a rule. He could have kicked himself, but tried to come back smoothly, "Um, but you can call me Al." he managed. "Al it is then." Greg said smiling with that same elusive smirk across his face that you just couldn't help but like. "Lets go burn off some steam on the dance floor." Horrified at the suggestion because he was convinced he had two left feet, Al was whisked away by the hand to the still over crowded dance floor. Once on the floor Greg burst into those seductive moves that were so well timed with the beat of the music. The music which now started to sound good blasted Al's senses and sounded worth dancing to. The beat slowly washed over him and his ecstasy ridden body didn't complain, with the added heat from the crowded dance floor it was a combination he just couldn't resist and he let the beat take over. Together they danced the night away until the bell rang for last rounds and the music faded into the background. After so much kissing and dancing, now standing still Al felt the come down and it hit him hard. He was instantly groggy and just wanted to go home. Greg came back from saying goodbye to a couple of friends and kissed Al again. "Damn you a fine kisser" "Thanks" Al replied, his head a little down. "Oh, you on your come down," Greg picked up, "don't worry, just drink lots of water and sleep it off. You'll feel fine this afternoon." he promised with a disarming wink. Just then they where interrupted by a shout on the other side of the club: "Hey Greg, stop falling in love or you gonna miss your ride!" "That's my ride" Greg apologized to Al, "I gotta run or I'm never going to get home." "Sure, go." Al said and managed a sincere smile at the same time. "Will I see you again?" "I don't know." Al replied honestly. "I hope so." And with that he gave Al one last deep kiss and made hastily for the door. Al had never felt so lost. After everything that happened, he was left standing on an empty dance floor more or less where he started the previous night. And that rang some bells. He now remembered why he was here and what he was running for before he got so engrossed and sidetracked. Patting himself down he felt nothing but himself. "The bastard!" Al said aloud and ran for the door, every step a thump that rattled his head. Coming through the front doors he was met with the brilliance of a sunny Sunday morning and it took his eyes a good few moments to adjust. Once he could make everything out he just managed to catch a glimpse of Greg getting into a car with friends. He stopped seeming to feel eyes on him and looked around meeting Al's stare momentarily. With a cheery wave that was betrayed by the guilt on his face he got in the car and they drove off. Al instantly concentrated to the best that his hangover would allow and summoned a Shade. Having summoned so many in the past it was a relatively simple process, but with a pounding headache and on a come down from a first time drug, it seemed a little harder than usual. Once the Shade appeared to him the car was nearly out of view. "Follow that thief." Al instructed and allowed the Shade to access a vivid picture from his mind of the target. Once the Shade gracefully sailed away to fulfill its duty, Al felt disappointed and sad that he was robbed. Especially from this man, this man that he couldn't quite explain or understand what feelings he had towards him. Anger was defiantly one of them. And many more but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. With nothing else for him here, he stared walking home, thinking deeply about the previous nights events and how they implicated his simple lifestyle.
