Disclaimer: If you're under age to read stuff about guys having sex or if you find it offensive, your society finds it offensive or illegal then stop reading now! This story is completelly fictional, as are all the characters.

By the same author: Previously I've written the multipart story "A Different World" which can be found under gay/sciencefiction at nifty. I'm also writing another story called "Going Home" that also can be found in the sci-fi catalog. "Going Home" is a completely separate story with no connection to "Different World" except that it's me that's writing both. "Going Home" is not finished by far and I will continue writing that too. In addition to this I've made an attempt at writing a story set in the "Star Trek" universe called "Junior Officers" which is published under gay/celebrity here at Nifty.

This part contains some graphic voilence but as usual it's only what's necessary for the story.

What Dreams May Come, part 10

Written by Adam

"Erik? Erik? I can see that you're still alive, you're breathing... Talk to me Erik!" Per said.

"Per, I can't find Sergio, he's simply disappeared!" Valodja said kneeling down beside Erik and Per.

"Sergio isn't the only one!" Erik wheezed.

"What?" Per said.

"Thomas and Peter are gone too... The three princes have all been abducted! ... Lie down!" Erik said.

"How do you know?" Valodja said.

"Thomas cried out to me telepathically when they were being abducted, tied and gagged on a dragon's back... but they haven't been taken far... Valodja, take as many guards as possible and get to the cave where we imprissoned the dragon last night as soon as possible, before the Queen manages to have the princes executed!... Per, I told you to lie down" Erik said.

"Hush! Don't talk anymore! Why can't you just keep yourself alive the same way you kept both of us alive that time when the Queen tried to trap you by killing me? Remember, that spear that went through me and the Queen put his sword through you... why can't you just do what you did then?" Per said.

"I'm trying but I need you to keep me company in that mind realm and that's why you need to lie down on the ground, because you're about to loose consciousness!" Erik said.

"Oh, why didn't you just say so?" Per said.

"I did say so, I told you to lie down" Erik said.

"Oh, yeah" Per said and lay down on the ground facing Erik who was forced to lie on his side due to the sword through his torso. Then both boys lost consciousness.

"Step aside, I know CPR" Richard said moving toward Erik but Valodja and Stefan both held him back.

"Keep back, Erik is keeping himself alive in his own way, all he needs is Per to keep him company" Stefan said.

"But..." Richard said.

"No but, you're coming with me, I think I might have use for you where I'm going... Hans, I need your help as well" Valodja said.

"Where are we going?" Richard said.

"To rescue the princes and bring them back here so Sergio can heal Erik" Valodja said leading the way to where three dragons were perched on the edge of the cliff.

"Though, I think they are probably already handling the situation themselves" Hans said.

"I'm coming too" Claes said.

"No, that won't be necessary... right Hans?" Valodja said.

"Actually, I'd rather have Claes where I can keep an eye on him than leave him alone with Erik and Per... Come to think of it, they shouldn't be left alone at all, somebody should keep guard here in case there's any more attempts on their lives" Hans said.

"Okay, but then it will be your job to keep an eye on Claes the whole time and nothing else, understood?" Valodja said.

"Affirmative Sir" Hans said.

"Drop the Sir for now, when don't have any military ranks yet... Right, Claes, Hans, Richard, Stefan and Pak come alond now, the rest of you stay behind and guard Erik and Per!" Valodja said and they rushed off to the waiting dragons and flew away towards the castle on them.

For a few moments Erik and Per where in that misty realm where they usually ended up when in deeper telephatic communication but then the realm gave way to another, slightly familiar setting.

"I recognise this place... but I can't quite put my finger on it" Per said.

"We've been here before... both in the way we are now, an image created in my mind from the memory of Alexander of his tent during the campaigns in northern Africa... Egypt to be specific... and actually before that, more than two thousand years ago we were here as well as soldiers in his army that he seduced" Erik said and sat down on a rug on the ground, leaning his back against a cushion.

"Yeah, now I remember... that threesome we had with Alexander in your mind... Now tell me, I haven't quite understood how retreating into your mind and having imaginary sex as it were keeps you from dying from the wound?" Per said as he straddled Erik's legs and put his left arm behind Erik's back and his right hand behind Erik's head.

"Well, it's kinda like... remember 'Star Trek:Insurrection'?" Erik said giving Per a small kiss, no tongue, between every other word.

"Yeah?" Per said.

"It's like when those ba'ku or whatever they were called stopped time... well actually, what they said in the movie was that they 'made a single moment in time into a universe of itself' and later Captain Picard does it to keep that woman Aneesh alive when she's hurt..." Erik said.

"Hey, come on, I haven't been able to see that movie since I died on Earth, so my memory of it isn't that clear" Per said.

"Well, as I understand it, Picard makes that moment last as long as it's necessary for the others to reach them and stabilize her condition... they make time move slower in a way while it moves normally elsewhere and in a way that's exactly what I'm doing here... all of this happening here and now in this tent takes place in the time of a heartbeat... hopefully it won't be my last" Erik said and Per emediatly placed his ear against Erik's chest.

"Your heart seems to be beating normally" Per said.

"Yes, but that's just the heart of my imaginary, unharmed body... for real it sound, kinda like this..." Erik said and suddenly they could hear a very loud but still dull noise that sounded like doors of a hangar for a Boeing 747 opening slowly, and then an ocean rushing out of them or in, maybe... but all of it kind of muffled in a way that was as if the person hearing it was holding a thick pillow to each ear... and then the sound stopped.

I will try to keep this story running parallel with Going Home and write chapters for both. I'm interested in your feedback and suggestions.
