Subject: hero in love chapter 13

WHAT HAVE I DONE? I wanted the story to move faster.. not slower. *pouts*
Oh well. we'll get there eventually, right? Where you may ask, and I
respond.. I'm not sure yet.

Chapter 13.

	All across the country the fires of contraversy were ignited.
several channels were debating the morality of they boy's comments, and
effects in general on the gay community. Many scenesy scenes comparable to
the one Kyle experienced were playing out and would yet play out as the
footage would continue to be played the next morning and into that evening
as well.

	But many scenes would not be so pretty.

	Jason walked into his aunt's living room, wondering how his mother
had taken the news. "I swear, everything on tv is about that boy, and now
he does this. I think he just likes to be on tv."

	"I doubt it." His aunt defended. Go aunt!! she maybe a little
cranky about guys some times, but she was definitely all for the whole gay
pride thing.

	"I still think he's just parading around and flaunting it."What? No
it wasn't.  It didn't even look like it. the boy just wanted to let teens
know it was ok to feel the way they did.  Jason wondered how his mom would
react if she knew that he was feeling this way towards Kyle.

	Jason shared a quick look with his aunt who looked just as miffed
as he was.  "And how is that parading it around?" She asked, before Jason
could blow up.

	"Obviously he just wants attention. Why else would he fly to see
some boy who he didn't know, and was just" curious about?" she quoted. When
she put it that way, why did a super hero boy have an interest in a random
crime by some boy?

	Kyle felt better. A lot better.  He'd fixed one of the things on
his list, even though he was probably adding tons more.

	"I guess I should have known." his mother said, interrupting the
silence.

	"Why? Its not like I ever gave much of a hint." Kyle replied. He'd
been pretty careful the way he'd held himself.

	"I meant the little things. the way you were always with your guy
friends, the way you'd hang near the phone waiting for them to call you
back about your latest movie get together. And you were always a little
uncomfortable at the swimming pool around your friends." she added.

	"oh." He guessed he was. Most of his friends had attractive chests.
Well not so attractive now that he had Jason.

	"I'm not femmy am I?" Kyle did NOT like femmy kids. In fact, there
were lots of gay kids at his school, but a lot of them were the
stereotypical ones, as if being gay meant you had to dress like a girl.

	"Oh no dear. nothing like that." his mother laughed. Kyle was
relieved. "now. I'm sure you know what I want to ask next." She said. Kyle
thought. what would she ask? oh no.

	"No I don't have a boyfriend." Kyle said before she could say what
she was thinking. He wasn't going to tell her about Jason, yet.

	"oh. Well that's basically answers my real question, but I was
wondering if you'd been active." She asked.

	"No." Kyle said truthfully.  "I'll be careful, I promise." he
replied, squeezing his mother's hand.

	"Thank you. I'll get you some protection tommorrow." She said,
squeezing back.  "But let me just say this. I promise it's not
embarrassing. keep Sex special." Kyle blushed. "ok, maybe its a little
wierd. But don't just do it with whoever comes along. keep it for the
special times.. the special ones. Sex means a lot more, and feels a lot
better, when your connected to the person on an emotional level." she
said. Whoa. Kyle hadn't expected that.

	Apparently she could see it on his face because she continued, "I
know you konw about the protection, and the normal health things. I just
want you to realize the emotional side of it. ok? So do some deep thinking
before you decide to give yourself to your first person." She
said. Wow. that was important, wasn't it?

	"Thanks mom. I'm going to go and think about things." he said. She
nodded in reply and he got up off the bed.  **********************

	Kyle couldn't get that out of his head. Keep sex special. He'd
never really heard it put that way before. had he? He
reviewed. Nope. Nobody had really said that, that he could remember. He
definitely wanted to keep it special. He wanted sex with someone close to
him, someone who loved him as much as he loved them.

	Kyle knew he loved Jason.. but did Jaosn feel just as strongly?
what if Jason didnt' feel as strong as Kyle did? Kyle would move the earth
for the boy, and he might be able too, but what if Jason didnt' feel like
that? what then?

	Kyle's computer bleeped at him, interrupting his thoughts as he
stretched out on his bed. Kyle looked at the screen, notifying him his
friend paladin119 was back on. pally!! he'd hvae some good advice now that
he'd shown him that he was a real super hero.
	Kyelrogue says:
	Did you see the news?
	Paladin119 says:
	yeah I did

	well we either have a reeeally big coincidence here... or I guess
you were telling the truth after all

	well, so how was the kid? and would you please stop being in such a
rush? you almost knocked over the reporter when you left.

He wasn't in a rush all the time was he? He did fly rather fast... but
saying he was in a rush?  wait. Wasn't that a name a site had come up with?
somthing rush? He could deal with that later.
	Kyelrogue says:
	he was way sad. I really felt bad for him.
	Kyelrogue says:
	He felt he was like evil I guess cuz society said he was.. so he
wanted to live up to that

	eh well... thats society for you

	I wanted to help teens.. so I said what I said...

	do you think it was a bad idea?

	Kyle still wasn't sure if it had been a good idea. Now he had
someone he could ask.
	Paladin119 says:
	i thought it was quite the valiant effort on your part

	*blushes*

	Kyle waited, wondering what Pally would say.  He sometimes got
distracted or took time writing his answers. Kyle turned back to his list
of thoughts. He crossed off telling his parents he was gay and turned it to
"" telling dad. Im.." That was better. sort of.

	and no... reguardless of the outcome... you have inspired many to
at least... consider coming out of hiding and be true to their selves and
follow their hearts....

	Speaking of which. Kyle switched back to his explorer to look for
more stuff on him. Wow. the extreme sites were definitely firing it up
against him. He was now the antichrist, AND he was going to steal souls.

	Kyle liked having someone to talk to. This was good. Doing it this
way kept Pally from knowing who he was exactly, and yet he could get
advice. But he didn't know how to tell Jason. How does one just say.. "
guess what? I have super powers?" Too many things going on in his life. the
stupid dream.. Wait!! he could tell Pally bout his dream!!

past tense... it might have been something that already happened or it may
be something very far off in the future... theres no real way of telling

	And that was a problem. How was he supposed to protect, if he
didn't know what? or was it kind of a general human race thing?  If it was
some save the environment he wasn't sure he could handle that.

	Kyle logged off, then pulled up his list of things to think
about. He hadn't even really fixed any of them. they just ikept getting
more confusing. he scanned it.. name? oh yeah. name. what had pally said?
rush? He WAS in a rush a lot of the time.. maybe he could use that.. blue
Rush? blue was kinda obvious. and it sounded like a sport drink or
something. what else?  aqua? Aqua rush? no.. he wasn't water related.. even
if his color looked like it. Maybe he shouldn't go with colors.

	what else? Kyle read back over his conversation with pally, trying
to remember everything they'd said. Paladin was great for emotional advice.
"well, so how was the kid? and would you please stop being in such a rush?"

	Kid ... Rush. Kid Rush? Kyle kinda liked that. Kid Rush. hmm.  Kid
Rush....
