Date: Tue, 12 Mar 2013 15:11:02 -0700 (PDT) From: Mack Thomas Subject: Mate Part 1 I'm still fairly new at writing so take it easy on me. Oh! and by the way this is a homoerotic story so if you don't like that sort of stuff, or if you're under the age of eighteen get lost! :) Mate `Hell yeah! I could get used to this!' Mack said as he started running around the house as if he had no sense whatsoever. Callum just shook his blond hair out of his face and laughed at his outrageously charismatic friend. They had just moved to from Seattle to Lacey Washington. Callum had quite a rough time in high school due to his small stature and shy personality. He had been bullied all of his life, but when Mack arrived their freshman year they immediately hit it off. Whenever he was bullied Mack would stand up for him and Callum truly appreciated it. Neither of them were fighters, but Mack could hold his own despite his thin frame and whenever someone were to jump in Callum would try his best to help. A couple of times they would actually win, but normally more bullies would jump in and they would be beaten. Mack was not financially able to go to college outside of Washington so they agreed to move into a place together. Well more like Callum forcing Mack to accept his money since he couldn't afford to pay his half of the bills. They moved into Callum's grandparent's vacation home which was about the size of a mini mansion. Callum was used to homes like this, but Mack had never been to one besides Callum's parent's home. The house was absolutely beautiful it had a very environmentally friendly. It has five bedrooms, three Bathrooms, a living room, dining room, viewing room, den, and an open balcony with a great view of the forest. The forest was the main reason that Callum chose to stay here. He absolutely loved nature, and the isolation that came with living there. The home was about 15 miles from civilization much to Mack's concern, but he was just thankful to have a place to stay. He'd have to think of someway to repay Callum. They spent most of the day getting themselves adjusted, and Mack started to cook a couple of T-Bone steaks which were Callum's favorite. He always wanted his rare which Mack found disgusting. `Hey Mack I'll be back I'm going for a run' Callum said. Despite his 5'5 120 pound frame Callum was very fit. He has a defined six pack, thick calf muscles, strong defined jaw. Callum was quite the looker and he knew it. His clear blue eyes, and soft face gave him a look of innocence which got him out of a lot of trouble besides with the bullies of course. As Callum trailed through the forest he keep hearing the sounds from behind him. He swung his head around and had to swipe his blond locks out of his face. Growing up he had always noticed that his senses worked exceptionally well, and his stamina was amazing. As he turned around his breath caught. Standing before him was a...a well he couldn't tell what it was. It was the size of a polar bear, muscular like a bull, but it looked like a wolf. But wolves don't get that big. The wolf didn't look angry it was just...staring at him. Callum took a step back but the wolf started growling. `O...Okay good boy...I'm just going to back up now. No one has to get hurt.' The wolf gave what sounded like a snort and Callum knew that he wouldn't be leaving anytime soon. Although he was terrified Callum couldn't help but to admire the wolf's beauty. It had long silk black hair, and its iris looked completely black. Before Callum could react the wolf lunged at him. He whimpered as his back made contact with the ground. Almost instinctively he turned his head to the side exposing his neck to the wolf while he shook violently. The wolf bent down and gently licked his exposed neck. Something about that simple lick made Callum's body tingle. The wolf suddenly emitted another growl, but this one was different. The first growl sounded aggressive, but this growl Callum couldn't understand. The wolf (which Callum still had not been sure if that was the right word) spent a few moments sniffing and licking Callum's exposed neck and abdomen until he heard the howls of what sounded like other wolves. His wolf (Callum didn't even notice that he'd claimed it as his) suddenly got up and sprinted away, but not before giving Callum another lick. Callum laid there for what felt like hours in a state of...arousal. Callum hadn't noticed it at first, but he had become very aroused when in contact with the wolf. Feeling its tongue glide across his exposed torso felt so...so good. Trying to shake off the erotic haze Callum got up and ran home. He must have looked worse than he thought, because Mack immediately came to his aid. `What the hell happened?! You're all bruised up!' Callum ignored him. On his run back to the house he'd gone from aroused to upset not only because of the wolf, but also by his reaction. He was not one to be turned on by an animal. `Hello are you going to answer me?!' Mack shouted as he followed him into the kitchen. `Would you mind your damn business?!' He yelled. Mack was taken aback by that, he had known that under Callum's quiet exterior he had a mean streak, but it had never been directed at him. Mack stopped in his pursuit and headed towards his room. Callum knew that Mack didn't deserve that, but he really wanted to be left alone. He watched as his best friend stormed up the steps. Even though he was upset he couldn't help but admire his friend. Mack stood at about 6' and was about 135 pounds. He had ebony skin, and cute puppy brown eyes. Although he was taller than Callum he was lean, but not disturbingly so. He wasn't near as muscular as Callum, but he was fairly defined. To top it all off he had a head full of long black dreadlocks that flowed down his back. Callum felt even worse about checking out his friend after he had just hurt his feelings although Mack normally wouldn't have mind. Another thing that had brought them close was that they were both homosexual. He decided to give Mack some time to cool off and went into the kitchen to grab some dinner. What he saw broke his heart. Laid before him was his favorite meal (T-bone steak, bake potato, and steamed vegetables) along with fresh squeezed lemonade, and his favorite book The Glass Castle. His last copy had been ruined by some bullies at school his sophomore year and he could not find another. He had cried the entire day because of it, and the person that he had just given his ass to found him a copy. There was a letter attached to the front that read: `Sorry that I couldn't give this to you in person, but you've been gone a long time and I'm really tired. I hope that you like it and I'll see you tomorrow. Oh and Happy 19th Birthday!' Callum looked at the time and realized that it was midnight. He had been gone for five hours! And Mack had stayed up to celebrate his birthday with him. He immediately ran upstairs and into Mack's room without warning. Mack had just gotten out of the shower and was getting dressed when Callum barged in and tackled him onto his bed. Mack may have been a little bigger, but Callum was definitely stronger. Mack struggled, but couldn't move him. He continued to try until he looked up into Callum's beautiful teary blue eyes `Please don't be mad.' Callum said. `I'm not mad. I was just worried about you.' Tears started to fall from Callum's eyes as Mack forgave him without hesitation. He let Mack go and curled into a ball on Mack's chest. He was a little heavy, but Mack comforted him until he calmed down. `Why don't we date each other?' Callum whispered. `Who would be the top?' Mack countered. Callum just laughed and enjoyed his embrace. Although he enjoyed being held by his best friend in the entire world he didn't feel like he had with his wolf. He didn't know why, but he needed to see his wolf again. School didn't start for another two months and he planned on using most of that time with his wolf. The next morning Callum awoke to him in the opposite position. He was holding Mack who had curled into a ball with his head on Callum's chest. Callum chuckled at the sight seeing a man seven inches taller than him in his arms. His chuckling caused Mack to slowly come to. His eyes fluttered open and he looked up at Callum with his big brown eyes. Mack looked so sweet and innocent that Callum couldn't resist. He leaned down and placed a gentle kiss right on Mack's lips. Mack's light brown skin began to brighten as his eyes began to twinkle a bit, but as quickly as it came it went. `What was that for?' Mack asked. `You looked cute so I kissed you.' Mack placed his head back on Callum's chest and smiled. When he had first met Callum four years ago he was so little and painfully shy, but as time progressed Callum came out of his shell for the most part and became quite the hunk even though he was still quite short. Mack chuckled at the thought. `What's so funny?' Callum questioned, but Mack just shook his head. This was the wrong answer apparently because Callum's fingers quickly made contact with Mack's ribs. To say that Mack was helpless would be an understatement all he could do was lay there and laugh until tears came to his eyes. Callum loved to hear Mack laugh, the sound he emitted had such an innocence to it. Mack was always very loud and playful, and to be honest he would've been very popular had he not chosen to befriend Callum. `OKAY...okay I'll tell you' Mack giggled. Despite his hard exterior towards everyone besides Callum, Mack really had a big heart, and he always had such an innocence and fragility to him that he only allowed Callum to see. 'I was just thinking about how much you've changed since we first met' Mack admitted. Callum thought about himself freshman year. He saw his growth, and the only person he had to thank for that was his best friend. `Yeah I have, and it's because of you.' He said. Mack looked and he bashfully and then giggled. `You're still short though!' Mack said as he took off out of the room with Callum on his tail. Callum set the table while Mack made breakfast. As Callum walked into the kitchen to grab the lemonade Mack lightly touched his back. `Callum what happened to your bruises?!' They were completely gone. Callum didn't think much of it. `I guess they weren't that bad' He shrugged. Mack didn't believe that, but he let it go for now. After breakfast Mack went to the grocery store, while Callum went on another run. He was hoping to find another sign of his wolf, but for the first hour he had no luck. As he was finally about to give up he heard a howl. He immediately followed the sound and he ended up in an open field, but what he saw scared him. It was not only one wolf, but three. There was his wolf, then there was a large brown wolf with green eyes, and a bleach blonde one with piercing grey eyes. Callum hid behind one of the larger trees as he watched the giant wolves interact with each other. Suddenly Callum felt a pull on his senses and he found himself unwillingly walking towards the wolves. His feet didn't stop moving until he was in front of his wolf. He stood there trembling in fear under the watchful eye of the wolves. He lowered his gaze and he willed his tears away. His wolf turned to the others and gave a sort of growl. The other two nodded and before his very eyes all three wolves started to transform. He wanted so bad to run but his legs just wouldn't obey. The three wolves that stood before him turned into...people. The first one was about 6'6 and looked about 220 of absolute muscle, and the silkiest looking black hair, but what stood out the most was his extremely dark eyes. He couldn't have been any older than 20, and looked as though he was of Indian heritage. Callum wanted to be freaked out, but before he could open his mouth his wolf...erm this man embraced him. He immediately melted into this man's arm. Being this close to this man was intoxicating, and his smell...oh God he smelled so good. The man looked down at Callum and smiled. `Hey there'. Callum thought that he would shoot right then, even this man's voice oozed testosterone. Callum let out a sound between a moan and a whimper which caused the man to pull him closer if that was possible. `I guess that I should introduce my pack.' He pointed to a beautiful girl around 5'3, 100 pounds with long brown hair, and lovely green eyes. `This is Lisa' she smiled warmly at him and waved. Then he pointed to what had to be the most startling handsome person he'd ever laid eyes on. He was about 6'4, 200 pounds with startlingly beautiful grey eyes. He had beautiful caramel tan skin with bleach blonde hair. `And that is Brett'. Brett barely acknowledged Callum, and then went in search for something. That is when Callum realized that the three of them were naked. A blush came upon his face, and he looked down and saw all 8 inches of this man. `And that my mate is little Anthony' another blush crept up on Callum's face as he realized that he'd been staring at it. Anthony pulled his chin up so that they were looking into each other's eyes. `Let us get dressed and then we'll talk.' Anthony said. `So what you're saying is that you're all werewolves?' Callum asked trying to grasp what had happened. Brett sighed exasperated, and Anthony shot him a quick glare before answering. `No mate, we are lycanthropes: wolf shifters. Werewolves are humans that shift into a half beast on a full moon. Lycanthropes shift whenever they want, and the wolf mentality remains with them all day every day. Also werewolves are created and live the lifespan of an average human. Lycanthropes are born, and can live for centuries.' Callum took in the information. `That's cool' was all he could think to say. They had accompanied Callum to his home and they were now sitting in the living room. `You want to know why you couldn't run when you saw us transform.' Anthony asked as he pulled Callum into his lap. Callum melted into his embrace, but looked into his Anthony's eyes curiously. Anthony leaned down and whispered `Because you're one of us. You're wolf wanted to be around a pack.' Callum would have been more shocked, but all he could think about was the smell coming from Anthony. It was simply intoxicating. Anthony drew him closer `And you want to know why I smell so good to you?' Callum looked up at Anthony. Anthony leaned down and pressed his lips onto Callum's. The noise Callum emitted was that of a whimpering puppy. His body felt as though he absolutely needed this. `It's because you're my mate' Anthony said breaking the kiss. Callum almost closed the space between them again until the front door unlocked. `Honey I'm home!' Mack yelled as he walked in with bags full of groceries. Anthony growled something fierce at Mack's choice of words, but Callum quickly let him know that it was just a joke. Mack came into the dining room after setting the bags down. `Callum you do know that you could have gotten off of your lazy ass and help with...' he stopped when he noticed that Callum wasn't alone. As he looked at them all he became increasingly uncomfortable from the intense gaze that he was receiving from the blonde one. `Mack I'd like you to me Anthony, Brett, and Lisa.' Mack waved, but Lisa was the only one to wave back. Anthony still put off by his earlier comment just glared, while Brett gave him the most unnerving look he'd ever received. Uncomfortable Mack did what he does best and put his guard up. `Hmm...well have fun' he said and went to put up the groceries. Callum tried to get up, but Anthony wrapped his arms around him possessively. Lisa giggled at the interaction, but Brett kept staring at the door. He got up, but before he could leave the room Lisa spoke. `He's no lycanthrope you'll scare him.' Brett nodded `I'll take it slow' and headed towards the kitchen. `What just happened?' Callum asked. `I think Brett just found his mate.' Anthony said smiling. `I hope your friend feels the same, because humans tend to deny their emotions often. Besides Brett really needs it, because if you haven't noticed he's a dick.' Callum couldn't help but laugh at that statement. He laid back down on Anthony's chest and recapped the day's events. As he started to drift off one question crossed his mind. `If I'm a lycanthrope, when do I turn?'
