I try to move, but my legs, arms, torso, and head are all restrained, keeping me from moving. I try to turn my head as much as I can to see where I'm at. I start to panick. I have to remind myself that I need to take long, deep breaths. Breathe in, and then out. Breathe in, and then out. I do this for a few more minutes, regaining my composure. I hear someone or something shuffling just out of eye sight. I try and struggle to see who it is. "Please keep still. I don't want you to hurt yourself. It wouldn't be good if you were to hurt yourself, now would?" says the deep, mysterious voice. "Wwhh...wwhh..who are you? And where am I?" I ask, trying to remain calm. "You need not bother youself with those questions right now. You'll be returned to your family as soon as we are done here." I hear him say. I feel something cold up against my neck. "Ryan, I am going to put you to sleep again. I'm not going to hurt you. I promise." He finally leans over me, and reveals what he looks like. My eyes start to get heavy, and then I'm asleep. ---------------- Captain Jordan's POV As we start getting ready for our landing, our proximity warnings start going off. What the hell could that be? This is a restricted and well protected area. How could someone get so close without the RDF being alerted to this? "Smith! Find out what's going on! And make sure the royal family is ok!" "Yes sir!" he salutes. "Sir, it appears that their is something off the starboard bow. Scanning for ident and configuration. It's not showing and ident and the computer isn't recognizing the configuration of whatever that is out there. Jones, go back and check on the Emporer." "Aye sir." says Jones. "Sir, I am detecting weapons fire!" "ALL HANDS! BRACE FOR IMPACT!" says the Captain. One, two, three, and four hits and the whole craft starts falling towards the landing pad. Pieces of the spacecraft start falling off in small pieces, but it's picking up speed and force. By now, bigger chunks of metal are falling off. "Send out a distress call to the RDF or any close battleship, and tell them we have been attacked. Give them the Emporers ident when you send it. Tell them we have been badly damaged and are falling and require immediate assistance." "Aye sir." The ship starts to turn and spin slowly, finally finding a suitable way to fall. Instead of falling straight towards the ground, the ship has decided to angle in and go for the wooded area near the landing strip. "Guys, stop what you are doing, and listen up." I say when I calculate that whoever is in the nose of the ship won't survive the landing. "Gentlemen, as soon as this ship hits the ground, those in the nose won't survive. We need to get to the middle of the ship, or to any escape pods. If there are any escape pods, the royal family gets them first! Do you understand? Make sure everyone you encounter is aware that we need to get near the middle of the craft if we are to survive." "Understood sir." everyone says. They all start heading the elevator doors, and stairwells to get out.. I manage to grab the mobile distress beacon on my off the bridge. I step out on the the deck below the bridge and notice that there is a hole in the hull where Ryan Woodruff used to be. I start to panick and I notice that the Emporer and his wife are panicking as well. I make my way over to them. "Mr. and Mrs. Woodruff. I need you to get to the escape pods. We need to get you off this ship before we crash!" "What about my son? What's happened Jordan?" Emporer Woodruff asks. "We were attacked out of nowhere. Ryan should be fine as long as his tracker in his chair is still working. After the rescue team arrives, they will send out a search party for him. But in the meantime, we need to get you off the ship." Luckily, there was a force- field where the hole is. I can see that they have been crying, worrying about Ryan. I get them all to the escape pod and launch it just in time as another torpedo hits the ship. ----------------------- Emporer Woodruff's POV When I saw my son go through that hole in the ship, my heart nearly stopped working. I don't know what I will do if I lost Ryan. I can't help but worry for him and his safety. I reach my mind out to Maries'. "Marie, just keep calm. Everything will be ok. Ryan is a strong boy. He will make it through this. We will find him no matter what it takes." I tell her telepathically. She looks at me and nods her head in understanding. I see Captain Jordan coming towards us. "Mr. and Mrs. Woodruff. I need you to get to the escape pods. We need to get you off this ship before we crash!" He says. "What about my son? What's happened Jordan?" I ask He then proceeds to tell me, "We were attacked out of nowhere. Ryan should be fine as long as his tracker in his chair is still working. After the rescue team arrives, they will send out a search party for him. But in the meantime, we need to get you off the ship." The escape pod launches and is a good distance away from the ship when I see a torpedo striking the ship just where we were. I can't believe this is actually happening! Where the fuck is the RDF during all this? There will be heads rolling after we get saved! I look out the window and notice that we are about to hit the ground. BOOM! Everything shakes, and we are on the ground. I hear someone knocking on the door of the escape pod, and then it opens. "Mr. Woodruff, sir. Is everyone ok?" I hear the person say. "We're all safe. A little injured, but safe. The only one that wasn't able to make it to the pod, was my son, Ryan. There was a hole in the side of the ship and he went out of it. Luckily he was strapped in his chair. Were you able to find him?" "No sir. We have sent out search parties to where he was last detected to be at, but he has yet to be found. Don't worry, he will be found. None of the people that are searching for him will rest until he is found. Incase you were wondering, I am Sgt. Andrew Burke of the RDF." "Mr. Burke, I appreciate everything you are doing. Now get us out of here, so we can get looked over by the medics."
