Only the Good Die Young Part 2: The Journey of Two Begins Gabe pulled Daniel close to him, locking him in a deep kiss as he caressed Daniel's back, tracing his fingers down to his but, which he gave a gentle squeeze. Daniel's eyes lit up and he plunged his tongue deeper into Gabe's mouth. The two stood there in the bathroom like that for several minutes, the steam from the water adding to the heat that was coming from the two boys. It wasn't long before Daniel was hard again, and Gabe began to move the two of them towards the tub, careful not to break the kiss. They were almost to the bath when Gabe's ear perked at a sound outside the room: the squeak of a door. He threw Daniel down onto the floor, where he let out a cry of but surprise and pain. He looked up to Gabe for an answer, but Gabe was already on the other side of the room, grabbing his cloak and pulling something from underneath it. Before Daniel could even process the thought, `How can he move that fast?', Gabe was out of the door and running into the bedroom. Daniel stumbled into the bedroom to see Gabe, still in his birthday suit, facing down a strange intruder. The man was just a little taller than Daniel, but he seemed to be in his late forties, as the beard on his face was well into it's graying period. His beard was trimmed short, and he wore no mustache, yet his graying black hair fell down to his neck. He wore a strange black vest of a material Daniel had never seen before, and the rest of his clothes were just as strange. His pants and his shirt were made of a navy blue material that seemed like cloth, yet he noticed that it was tight fitting and rather shiny. It was at this time that Daniel noticed the revolver in the man's hand. "Gabe, look out, he's got a gun!" he yelled, but soon learned his folly when he saw the two colt pistols in Gabe's hands, both pointed right at the stranger. These guns were different from the one he had seen at the bar, but Daniel didn't know enough about guns to register what the difference. An expert might have said the guns were copies, yet only a few knew that they were twins, made at the same time, and made to fire at the same time. The stranger's gray eyes hadn't left Gabe's gaze until Daniel's abrupt outburst, but when he turned and saw the still horny red-head, he smirked at Gabe and said, "Did I catch you boys at a bad time? Oh my, now what would people say if they knew about this, hmm? I AM sorry to interrupt your playtime, but I've got some important business to attend to", the last part he aimed directly at Gabe. "You see, three of us tailed you threw the desert, my boy. It seems someone must want you pretty bad, `cause there's a fifty million dollar reward for your head, and ya' don't have to be attached to it, either. Ole' Gordon thought he could take you easily, busting into that bar like a cowboy or somethin'. But you took care of him, didn't ya'. Ricochet my ass, no goddamn ricochet from a shotgun leaves a bullet in a man's head, and people are startin' to figure that out. That's why I gotta' take care of ya' `fore they do, so I can collect my reward." At this, the stranger fired his gun, but Gabe seemed to have vanished, reappearing a couple of steps away, firing his colts. The reports from Gabe's guns were so loud that Daniel was afraid he had damaged his eardrums. The bullet from the man's gun had hit the wall behind Gabe, but Gabe's bullets had found there mark. Or had they? The man was still standing, and there was no blood. Daniel was wondering what had happened when he saw the two indention's in the man's vest. The bullets had hit him, but the vest had stopped them. "Nice vest, ain't it. Bulletproof, ya' know, the stuff that they had in the old days," he said through an evil grin. "And I see you're as fast as they say, but you made a slip, you lowered your guard," he said, pointing his gun, but not at Gabe. It was then that the donning realization hit Gabe. Everything happened in slow motion from them. The stranger knew that if he shot the red-head, it would throw Gabe for a couple of seconds, so as he aimed the gun and fired at Daniel, Gabe made his decision and fired his two pistols in what was to be his most desperate shot he had ever made. The bullet from the left gun went right to it's mark, the stranger's head, where there was no bulletproof padding; the second bullet was the gambit. He threw all of his concentration into that shot as the bullet barreled towards Daniel. The paths of the two bullets collided at the last possible moment, and both deflected harmlessly to either side of Daniel. After he saw that Daniel was unharmed, Gabe collapsed to the floor from the strain he had just undergone. `Damn, I almost blew my secret, and I may have if that kid's as special as I think he is'. He looked back over and saw Daniel fall to the floor, tears rushing to his eyes as he realized that he had almost died for a second time that day, but this time it had been a whole lot closer. He walked over to the terrified boy and tried to put his arms around him, to con fort him, but Daniel withdrew and crawled away from Gabe, glaring at him like he was a demon. He reached out his hand, but Daniel moved away again, tears still flowing. He looked up again at Gabe and glared. "What you just did, that wasn't human!" he yelled, the terror in his eyes evident that he was as scarred of Gabe as he had been of the invader. "Wha..what are you?" he asked, choking back more tears. Gabe, who had been replaying what the stranger had said in his head, walked over to the red-head and finally wrapped his arms around him, tightly embracing him. Daniel continued to cry as Gabe softly spoke into his ear, "There'll be time for questions later, now we need to get dressed, we're still not safe." He helped Daniel off the floor and guided him to the bathroom, where their clothes were. He coaxed Daniel into his clothes, and when Daniel began to shake, Gabe whispered for him to relax and he kissed him deeply, running his hands through Daniel's red hair. He pressed him close and twisted his tongue around Daniel's, and the taller boy finally gave in and relaxed, letting himself flow into the kiss, flowing into Gabe. The two had just finished dressing when the door to the room received a fierce banging. "HEY, WHAT IN THE HELL HAPPENED IN THERE! SOMEONE OPEN THIS GODDAMN DOOR NOW!" came a booming voice from the other side. Gabe made a shushing motion with his finger and pointed to the door, cocking his head. Daniel got the idea and made the shape of a star with his finger, tracing it in the air. Gabe put his hand to his head as if to say, `Great, now we have the sheriff to deal with'. He looked around and noticed the window facing the rear of the hotel. He pointed at it and he and Daniel darted over to it, carefully lifting it so it wouldn't make any noise. Daniel went at first and Gabe had just enough time to get a glance at that ass again before he too hoped threw the window. The two had just started running around to the front of the building when they heard the door in the room Gabe had been staying in burst open. Gabe would have sworn he had heard the old owner swearing up a storm at the sheriff, but the two were moving quickly out of earshot, Daniel leading. Within a minute they were rounding the corner to `Fran's' when Gabe spotted the one thing he had been hoping to avoid. A strange man was walking out of `Fran's' with a strange gun thrown over his shoulder. The man was dressed similarly to the one that had barged into their room, but this one was younger, with light brown hair, and his eyes had a strange blue glow to them. The gun he had was over a two feet long, and it had a strange design to it. Daniel didn't even see a chamber for bullets in it, but then again he didn't know much about guns. Gabe instantly knew they were screwed when he saw the man waltz out. He recognized him immediately: Daemon, leader of the bounty hunter group known as Seraphim. Daemon was smart, cunning, and, most importantly, not entirely human. Gabe also knew that the gun in his hand was no ordinary gun; it was an automatic rifle, a relic form the Old Days. His hands reached down to his colts hidden in his cloak and he grabbed them with sweaty palms. Daemon glanced down the street and saw Gabe and Daniel stalled in the middle of it, staring at him. He grinned and grabbed a small object, what appeared to be a metal egg, from a pouch on the front of his vest. He pulled a small piece of metal out of it and tossed it into the bar behind him, grinning the hole time. "NO, don't!" Gabe yelled, pulling his guns, but it was too late. An explosion rocked the bar and flames erupted out of the doorway which the shockwave and kindly blown the doors off of. Daniel's cries of `Aunt Fran' rang out, seeming to join the smoke that billowed out what was left of the bar. Screams could be heard from within, and a few burning bodies began to stumble out of the ruins, but most had died in the blast. Gabe held his head down and cursed himself as the flames licked up the sides of the bar, threatening to leap over to neighboring buildings. Faintly he could here the church bell ringing out, signaling an emergency. `I failed. I can't believe I didn't realize what that was. Now there all dead.' "There all DEAD!" he yelled out, breaking his mental reprisals. He looked up at the grinning madman standing down the street. He was right where he had been, still standing in front of the bar, unfazed by the blast. "You're gonna' DIE!" Gabe yelled as he pulled his colts and fired the guns, the deafening reports once again forcing Daniel, who had been in shock, to cover his ears. The bullets flew right at Daemon, perfect aim. But, as the bullets neared him, he seemed to vanish and reappear at a different spot further down the street. "Ha ha, little Gabe, you're not as fast as you think, are you?" he taunted as he jumped, but appeared to fly to Daniel, up to the rooftop of a nearby building, aiming his gun. "Daniel, GO!" Gabe yelled as he shoved Daniel out of the road and into a nearby ally. He felt a strange tug at his cloak when he pushed Daniel out of the way, but thought nothing of it, or rather, and no time to think anything of it, as he leaped to the opposite side of the street, bullets spraying the spot where they had just stood. Gabe saw Daniel sprint off down the ally, hopefully to hide, and returned his attention to Daemon. The fire had spread to several buildings, and people were too scared of the gun fight to come close, so the smoke continued to billow, and Gabe found it difficult to draw a bead on Daemon. He ducked out from the ally and rolled quickly across the street, bullets following him, before he repeated the process and ended up in an ally slightly closer to Daemon. The last spray of bullets had come very close to hitting him, and Gabe knew he was going to have to use special care form now on. Daemon may not have been as powerful as Gabe, but most of Gabe's powers were sealed at the moment. He ducked his head out, only to pull it back in quickly as a spray of bullets rushed towards him. He dived deeper into the ally as the bullets hit the wooden storefront behind him, splintering a large portion of the wall. `Okay, he hasn't moved, but NOW what do I do?' Gabe thought, understanding that he was now basically pinned down and that it would only be a matter of time before Daemon decided to move. Gabe looked out across the street and noticed an overhang over a section of wooden storefront. An idea popped into his head. `I hope that overhang gives me enough cover,' he thought. He concentrated all of his available power and dashed out across the street at a blinding speed, popping of a quick shot from the twins as he went, but both bullets missed. His plan, however, was underway. When Daemon had dodged the bullets, he had had to let up his attack and Gabe had made it to the overhang. Daemon looked down, but couldn't see Gabe, yet he had seen him dash under the overhang, so he let loose a long stream of bullets into it. The wood shattered and exploded under the barrage, but when the splinters settled, there was no Gabe. "What the hell..." Daemon murmured, before seeing the swinging doors under the ruins of the overhang. "Damnit," he spat as he grabbed another grenade and tossed it through the window if the second story of that building. The grenade went off and the top floor of the building disappeared in the inferno that erupted out of the building. The shockwave was so powerful that the bottom floor collapsed under the blast and the tower of burning rubble fell into the side of the building next to it, setting it on fire. By this time, nearly a quarter of Malbran was on fire and people were just now beginning to put out the fires, though it was already a lost cause. The wall surrounding the town had caught fire, and within a few hours the town would be surrounded by a wall of flames and the city of Malbran would become one big oven. Daemon glanced over at the remainder of the two story building, watching for signs of movement. Besides the few pathetic people who had been in there, there was none. If Gabe had been in there, he wasn't coming out. Daemon grinned and went to shoulder his gun when he heard clicks coming from the rooftop opposite him. He whirled in time to take two bullets in the chest from the colts Gabe held in his hands. They had been aimed at his head, but the smoke had muddled Gabe's shot, not to mention the fact that the building he was standing on was on fire. Daemon was knocked back by the shots and went to fire his guns when the next two shots tore the machine gun out of his hands, sending it flying off the building. Daemon gaped at the young gunslinger before him, but grinned when a donning realization hit him. "You do realize that you're out of bullets, right?" Daemon said, once again taunting Gabe. "The click from that last round was the sound of an empty chamber, and you know that, don't you? Daemon grin got bigger as he saw the boy curse and reach into his cloak. Unfortunately for Gabe, Daemon was faster. His reserve pistol was in his hand and a shot rang out before Gabe's hands ever met the gun that wasn't there. The shot hit home and the target fell dead, a bullet lodged in the back of his head. Across the rooftops, Gabe could make out the faint green glow of a pair of green eyes over the dead body of Daemon. Much to his surprise, as he saw the gun the figure was holding, he realized that it was HIS black revolver, the one he had used in the bar. And, even more to his surprise was the red-head holding the gun staring back at him. "Daniel? Daniel, is that you?!," Gabe cried, leaping across the rooftops to join his friend. "Daniel, you saved me, but HOW?!" he cried, wrapping the boy in a tight embrace. Daniel returned the hug, but he was shaking badly and the glow that had been in his eyes was gone, replaced now with just the scared green eyes Gabe had seen several time that day. "I don't...I don't know," he said. He looked at the gun in his hand and threw it down in disgust. Gabe picked it up and holstered it, returning his gaze to Daniel. "I just grabbed your gun when you pushed me. I don't know why, I just did. I ran down the ally, but, but..." he stuttered before crashing into another wave of tears. Gabe just held him and kissed him gently on the lips, trying to soothe him. When Daniel was had cried for a couple of minutes, he dried his eyes and continued. "I just kept thinking of Aunt Fran and I saw the gun in my hand and I just wanted t..t..t..to KILL HIM! I WANTED TO KILL THE BASTARD!" he yelled before collapsing again against Gabe. Gabe held him for a few minutes, looking around at the chaos that had befallen the city. When he gazed over Daniel's shoulder, he noticed a stable near the edge of the town that the fire hadn't touched yet. He whispered gently into Daniel's ear, "Listen we can talk about this later, okay? But for now we need to leave. It isn't safe and for right now, you and I are going to need each other, okay?" Daniel shook his head yes and dries his eyes again. He stared into the beautiful face in front of him, for once calm, and waited for instructions. "The town's in a panic right now, and there's nothing we can do. Most of the people who are gonna' leave have left, and those that haven't are just stupid. So here's what I need you to do..." An hour later, the sun now long gone but with no moon to replace it, Daniel met Gabe by the stable he had spotted earlier, and the fire was now dangerously close and an awful ash cloud hung overhead. For all Daniel knew, it was the apocalypse all over again. He carried the two bulging sacks of supplies he had pillaged from several stores over two the two horses that Gabe had readied. Gabe looked up and ginned as he saw Daniel approach. He waved him over and grabbed the two bags, securing one onto each horse. The smoke was getting too bad to talk now, but Gabe had gone over everything with Daniel earlier. Daniel had gone to get food, water, and other necessities while Gabe had gotten two horses ready for their trip. He had found out that Daniel had ridden horses before, but he was not sure if he could ride one that well. Gabe had told him not to worry, that he would lead Daniel's horse by a rope, and Daniel was happy to see that one of the horses had a rope line leading to the other. Gabe helped Daniel onto his horse, a mahogany brown male, before he hoped onto his own, this one nearly pure white and female. Gabe hiked his boots into the side of his white horse, coaxing the scared stallion to start off. As soon as the rope became taunt on Daniel's horse, he got the idea and followed after her. Once Daniel got the hang of it, Gabe cut the rope and the two were swiftly riding out of the inferno that had once been Malbran. As they passed the main gates, for the moment untouched by the encroaching flames, Daniel spotted a large caravan of people heading off to the east, towards Cinadel. Cinadel was a good weeks journey by horse, but the group would have to move a lot slower since there weren't enough horses to go around, so some were actually walking along with it. "Hey, Gabe, are we gonna' follow them to Cinadel?" Daniel asked when the two had stopped about a quarter of a mile out from Malbran. "No, we're going west, and we need to move fast. I'll talk more later when we get a chance. Now, let's go," Gabe said, getting his horse up to a quick gallop, Daniel following, and the two rode off to the west, leaving a burring city behind them. That night, the sky burned red and the moon was hidden behind a veil of black smoke. It was well after midnight when Gabe finally hollered back for Daniel to stop. He had hoped to go farther, but he realized both Daniel and the horses were tiring, and even he felt the fatigue of the long day setting in. He hoped off his horse, petted her flank, then walked over to Daniel who was having trouble dismounting. He helped Daniel ease one of his legs over and then guided him down, giving him a hug and a quick kiss before he returned to his horse and began rummaging through his bag. He pulled out a stake, and, with Daniel's help, hammered it into the ground. He walked the two horses over and tied them up to the stake. Before he walked off, he threw two blankets over them, knowing how cold it already was, and how cold it would get. The wind had begun to pick up a little and it must have dropped down to about fifty. Gabe walked over to where Daniel was. Daniel had found a section of sand that was a bit firmer then the rest and had almost finished setting up the tent they had brought when Gabe got back from tying up the horses. As he finished, Gabe walked up to him and wrapped him in a tight hug, locking lips with the red-head as he plunged his tongue deep into Daniel's mouth. Daniel pressed close to Gabe as he ran his hands down the taller boy's back before he made his way down to his target. Gabe gave Daniel's ass a firm squeeze and was rewarded when Daniel pressed harder against him, and this time, there was something else pressing against Gabe, too The two slipped into the tent and continued their groping session, this time laying down on the floor on the tent. Daniel had slipped his hand down into Gabe's pants, massaging his growing erection while Gabe, now moaning into the kiss, started to undo Daniel's pants. Within minutes, the two were fully naked, still locked in their deep kiss. They had there dicks pressed together, and the heat was driving them wild with lust. Gabe broke the kiss and began to slowly lick his way down Daniel's chest, stopping only to swirl his tongue around his nipples. He continued to lick and kiss his way down until he reached Daniel's hairless pubic area. Daniel was panting heavily as Gabe took a deep wift of his scent. The smell was intoxicating and Gabe quickly swallowed the large head of Daniel's cock. The other boy began to cry out in pleasure as Gabe started deepthroating him. He brought Daniel close one time, but broke off and let his dick slip out of his mouth. He was now on top of Daniel, and as Daniel looked up, questioning why Gabe had stopped, Gabe smiled and turned himself around so his cock dangled in front of Daniel's face. "It's no fun if we both don't get off, right? he said, before returning his skilled tongue to Daniel's throbbing member. Daniel quickly got the idea and began pumping his mouth up and down and Gabe's dick, swirling his tongue around the shaft and the head just as Gabe was doing to him. `GOD, he's sooo good,' Gabe thought as he felt himself quickly being brought close to the edge. He could have held on for a while, but he wanted the two of them to cum together, so he slowed down a little on Daniel's dick and a minute later, when he felt he couldn't hold it any longer, and sucked on Daniel's dick like it was a vacuum, who it turn did the same to Gabe. The two boys moaned and cried out around the others dick as they shot off. Gabe' mouth was so flooded that he had to let a lot of Daniel's cum drip out of his mouth and onto the dick from which it had come. Daniel didn't fare much better, but he managed to swallow most of Gabe's cum with only a small amount trickling down the corner of his mouth. Daniel was so exhausted from the experience that he crashed out right there, but Gabe carefully licked the boy clean before snuggling up next to him where he fell asleep, too. the two boys slept through the night together, holding each other in their arms and in their dreams. Gabe awoke first that morning and stepped at to check on the horses. When he saw that they were still sleeping, he glanced up at the sun to try to figure out what time it was. The smoke from the ruins of Malbran hung in the sky off to the east, but the sun was in a clear patch of sky. `Looks to be about eight o'clock,' Gabe thought. He walked a bit away from their makeshift camp and relieved himself. When he returned, he heard rustling from within the tent and Daniel stepped out, stretching and revealing himself and all of his glory. He grinned and walked over to Gabe, giving him a quick kiss before he grabbed his nuts balls and gave them a squeeze, causing Gabe to yell. Daniel laughed and darted away when Gabe tried to grab him "Hey, quit playing around, we need to get dressed and get moving," Gabe said, but from the grin on his face, and the erection he had sprouted, Daniel knew he wasn't mad. The two went into the tent together and after a few quick gropes, the were dressed. Gabe was just about to walk out of the tent when Daniel grabbed his arm and stopped him. "What's wrong?" Gabe asked, puzzled. "I want to know how you did that," Daniel said, his voice suddenly grim and serious. "How I did what?" Gabe replied, now thoroughly confused. "I want to know how you shot that man in the bar without anyone but me seeing you. I want to know how you shot a bullet out of midair, and I want to know why your eyes glowed blue when you DID it!" Daniel said, suddenly taking a very sharp tone towards Gabe, who just starred back at him with those cool blue eyes. He ran a hand through his now sandy blonde hair and looked into Daniel's eyes, took a deep breath, and said, "Well, I'm not exactly...human." -So, what did you think. Questions, comments?
