Maze of the Minotaur (18)
The Dark Lands....

..... We reached the other side of the sea within a days time. I slept on
the raft as Vonn steered the thing to shore. It was early morning as we
arrived. I looked up to the dawn sky and then saw the shoreline not far
from where we were. I looked over to Vonn who was still manning the
sail. He looked to the shore, unaware of me. I looked at him again. His
strong muscular lean frame. He was pretty good looking, But was small in
stature compared to ever other man I have seen here.

Then as I sat up I saw the shore better. The sands were dark in color. And
speckles of crystalline flashes on it as sunlight hit. It looked quite
beautiful. It reminded me of the black beaches in Hawaii. beyond the shore
was a thick forest. Dark and foreboding as it appeared.

Vonn looked to me and saw I was awake. He smiled and then pulled the sail
to turn the raft

"We are here" he said

"Where?" I asked

"The dark lands"

"Its the only way to where my master lives."

"Past the forest and into the valley of Shard"

I looked at the dark trees and pondered again how I got here to this
place. Was I still dreaming. Was this real?

"Looks creepy" I came back

"It will be fine" Vonn stated

"The master would not let anything happen to someone here"

I swallowed hard as he tossed the anchor over. He jumped into the water and
I followed. We pulled the raft to shore and walked onto the black beach. I
Knelt down and brought my hand to the dark sand. There were tiny brilliant
crystals in the sand. I plucked one out and looked at it. It was a diamond.

"Holy fuck!" I shouted



Vonn looked at me oddly as I stared at the diamonds in my hands.

"What friend" he asked

"Is there something wrong"

"Theses are diamonds" I shouted

Again he gave me an odd look. Like I was crazy or something. It was obvious
diamonds were nothing to him. But I still regarded them with the lust of
any man for such riches.

"Crystal stone?" He then said

"Its everywhere in the dark lands"

"Its lovely, but of no use to us"

"Fuck me" I huffed back

"Where I come from these are worth tons of money"

Vonn turned back towards the forest beyond the beach. He grabbed his bow
and pulled it up. It appeared he was preparing to shoot at something. Then
he let the bow fly and struck something that I hadn't seen moving in the
brush. Then he replaced his bow in its holster and started towards the
shot.

"You do come from such a strange place" he stated

"Come. We will rest and eat"

He lead me to where he shot the arrow. There in the brush was what appeared
to be a rabbit of some kind. He pulled it up and grabbed it by the
neck. The thing was still twitching from the arrow shot. Then Vonn snapped
its neck. I wanted to hurl from the sight. But then felt my stomach
growl. He was right, I was hungry. And rabbit would be a good meal.

We sat down and ate after Vonn cleaned and cooked the rabbit over a fire he
had made. Then he suggested I get some sleep.

"It wont be much further to my master" he said

"But we should leave early in the morning"

"So sleep well friend"

I laid my head down and fell to sleep shortly there after. Dreams of
falling and landing in a dark cave. Frightening sounds and shrieks. Then a
friendly voice that I knew to be Borga's voice infiltrated my head. I
reached for the apparition that was my big Ogre. I missed him ever so much.

"Borga" I called out in sleep

Morning came as I was jerked from sleep. I looked up to see Vonn looking
down at me again.

"You were shouting incoherently in your sleep" He said

it wasn't. I half smiled at Vonn as I got up. He was already prepped for
the journey through the forest. I got up and collected myself and things.

"Shall we" he then said stretching his arm out to the forest beyond

"Okay then" I said nervously



But we stepped into the trees and the dark lands. There was an eerie
silence all about. No birds of crickets or anything of the sort. Very
little movement in the brush as well. But I let Vonn lead me into this
place. Hoping upon hopes that all were wrong. That he would NOT lead me to
doom.

We walked through the dark forest for some miles. The silence there was
putting me on edge. I feared I would just turn around and run. But The
possibility of getting home was stronger than the fears eating at me. So I
continued to follow Vonn into the gloom.



"How much farther Vonn?" I asked

"Not far now." he said

"Once we exit the forest we shall come onto the Maze"

"Maze?!" I then questioned

"Yes, maze" Vonn replied

"There is a vast maze that leads to the masters home."

"It is to keep out the unwanted"



I was really concerned now. I had seen movies of mazes that lead to traps
and death. I surely didn't want to enter a maze. Vonn looked back to see my
concern. Then he said we would be ok. that he knew the way.



"The master has given me the route through it" he stated

"He would always guide his allies to safety."



As we neared the end of the forest. It had been several hours since we
first entered. But I could see the trees ending. Then I heard the sounds of
creatures again. At the trailing edges of this dark forest was sound again.

Then as we exited the trees, I saw before me fields of tall grass. And I do
mean tall. It was like walking through a corn field. That's how high the
grass was.



"Follow my steps" Vonn said

"Must watch for the field vipers."

"Huh!!" I blurted

"What the hell is a Field Viper."



Then I saw one as we entered the grass. It was like a python or half giant
earthworm. I could not be sure of what it was. It slithered through the
grass on the hunt.



"They wont attack, lest you step on them" Vonn said

"Are they deadly?" I asked

He paused as he looked back at me. Then shush me as he walked

"They can be" He then said

"If they are left to feed on you, they can kill you"

"These creatures siphon proteins from your body"

"And they must be removed from you quickly"

He paused again before he spoke.

"But not to soon, least they damaged you" He added

I looked at him oddly as he said that. I had no idea what he meant. Then
one crossed in front of me. I moved to try and miss it only to lose my
balance. I was going to fall. So I called out to Vonn. I feared I would
fall on it, or another one, and my fate would be sealed.

"Vonn!" I shouted as I felt a tumble come

But Vonn turned quickly as rushed to me. He grabbed my hand to pull me from
that fall. But as he did he stomped against one of the vipers. I saw as the
snake like creatures body folded and its tail swung up. Then it moved fast
and started to coil itself around Vonn's leg. It quickly moved up on
Vonn. It made a strange squeal that seemed to alert another one.

Vonn Shouted for me to run. Then he pulled at the snake moving up his
thigh. I saw its mouth as it were at that moment. A strange maw with tiny
little nubs for teeth. The dark serpent then shot up to Vonns lions. It
then burrowed its way into them. That's when the other snake grabbed at
Vonns arm. Pulling at him with a great strength. Then another one grabbed
at his other thigh. In moments there were maybe five on him. I tried to
grab at them, but he yelled not to.

"Noo!" he shouted

"Least you be invaded"

That's when Vonn was lifted up off the ground by the huge serpents. The one
that had burrowed under his lions, ripped them off his body. Then it coiled
around his waist fast. Then the head moved back around and it sprung at his
exposed dick. I watched in awe and horror as the thing enveloped his dick
swallowing the whole thing. Vonn's body thrust forward and his balls rode
up on him.

What was it doing to his cock. was it eating it. But I saw its jaw moving

inside it was what looked to be a massive labyrinth of stone and trees or
bushes. and at the farthest end was a mound like a giant termites nest.
