Galmor Subject: The Perfect Form - Part I - Blue Sapphire - 7 - Someone Who Hates I watched Christian as he ordered a room for us in a five-star Los Angeles hotel we came across. It was downtown, and Chris thought we could mingle in the crowd better. I was afraid for a while there he was going to get us 2 separate rooms but was quickly relived. As I stood there, I felt a strange feeling creep up from just beneath my ribs to the rest of my body. This was so new to me. To be with someone who cared about me was something I could not fathom at the time. I shook slightly and sat down to try and conceal it better from the passing patrons. I belonged somewhere, with someone. I was not alone. There is someone with me who loves me and wants to make me happy and touches me with his magical touch. I still didn't know how to proceed on that last part. Would we be sleeping in the same bed, or is he now ordering twin beds? I yearned to touch his angelic body so much, but didn't know how he would react. The last thing I wanted was to freak him out. By this point, I wasn't afraid he will run away any more, but I was still walking on a lot of egg shells. The thought of his warm, loving hug almost sent me to ecstasy right then and there. "Adam?" A gentle probe on my shoulder brought me back to reality. "Yeah," I said in a voice of a person who has just awakened, and lifted myself from the sofa. "We're on the eighth floor, I took a non-smoking room, of course," he smiled. I smiled back and tried to take his hand in mine, but he quickly avoided it. I was about to feel slightly hurt, but I figured it might be all the people around us that were causing his hesitation. We went up to our room, and Chris slid the key card in the door. He decided to take a normal room, not the royal suite I knew he could afford. I guess he wanted to stay as inconspicuous as possible. I can't blame him – I shared the sentiment. And there it was – one king size bed! A weakness quickly crept down to my knees and for a second there I found it a bit hard to stand. Chris must have seen it for he immediately grabbed me with both hands. "Are you ok?" "Yeah, sorry... just a little tired." I then realized he has both his hands on me, holding me. I turned around slowly to face him, and as gently as I could, pulled my arms around him. He reciprocated and held me very strongly. I, on the other hand, had to be careful, so I used very little force. A sob came to my lips, but I managed to suppress it as my head sank on his shoulder, my eyes buried in his neck. "It's going to be ok, I promise," he told me in a comforting voice and strengthened his hug even further. "I love you so much, you know that right?" I found myself saying, small tears forming in my eyes. "I love you too, Adam, and I ain't ever going away." I sensed the shakes in him again. He gently lifted my head from his neck so we were now facing each other, staring into each other's eyes. His green eyes were like an endless field of freedom. He brought me to his lips then, and I felt his warm tongue sneak up inside me. I was in heaven; no other word can describe it. I also found my way into him, and everything that has ever happened in my life up to this point simply vanished. There was no past and no future, just him and me, standing there, sharing the most wonderful kiss. When our lips finally parted, he took my hand, leading me towards the bed. We both climbed in, and he hugged me from behind, gently kissing my neck from time to time. We stayed like that, spooned together, and fell asleep. -0-0-0-0-0- When I woke, the clock in the room said it was 1:00 pm. The sun's rays penetrated the room where there was a slight, open space between the closed curtains. I rose up, rubbing my eyes when I immediately saw that I was alone in the room. Where Christian should have been, there was now only a note written on the hotel stationery. My heart skipped at least 4 beats. I was paralyzed. I stared at that note and silent tears flowed down my cheeks. He left me? I was alone? No! Nothing more than a goodbye note. I found myself picking it up, but it was like I was out of my body, watching myself from above. Adam, I didn't want to wake you up, so I went down to the gym downstairs. I won't be long! I love you, Christian My legs shook almost violently as I found myself putting the note down. He didn't leave, he didn't leave, he didn't... It took about five minutes until I was breathing normally again, and was able to relax. He loves me. He said he will never leave me. A knock on the door came then. I figured Chris must have forgotten his key, and I rose happily to meet him. But when I opened the door, I found a familiar girl with short black hair. Eva. "Hey, ass wipe," she said and pushed her way into the room. Evelyn. She plopped herself on my bed, and I was again amazed at hoe pierced she was. I closed the door, a bit shaken. "What are you doing here?" I asked in a slightly whiny tone. "Well," she started with a smile that was obviously fake and full of sarcasm, "You just had to bump into one of those Temple freaks and almost ruin everything!" Her voice and smile changed drastically during that sentence. "Bumped into him? How was I..." I went on with my whiny tone, but she put her hand up to shut me up. "Please don't talk. Your voice gives me goose bumps." At that she opened the mini fridge and took out several small bottles of liquor. She emptied one in one full swig. "You just shut up and listen." She was stern, staring at the floor instead of me. "You fucked up so bad by bringing that blond snot with you, I was contemplating letting them kill you, but you're lucky I got a very rational, calm sister." She followed every word with a hand gesture. "We tell you to run, to not tell anyone where you are going, and you not only tell someone but you take him with you!" She jumped to her feet at that last word and stared at me with cold, black eyes. I just stared at her, unable to speak. That soon passed though, and I felt a surge of rage flowing in me. "How dare you!" I screamed, and she looked sincerely shocked. "Do you know how fucking depressed I was when you first met me?! Do you fucking know I tried to commit suicide in 20 different ways that never worked?! Do you fucking care that for the first time in my fucking life I have someone who cares about me?!" I was pretty sure the whole floor could hear me, and if they didn't, they probably heard the loud crashing sound of my fist through the wall at my left, which fortunately did not go deep enough to create a hole in the adjacent room. Evelyn stood there for a moment, silent. "Look..." she paused, dropping her head down again, "I don't know how your life is or was and frankly, I couldn't fucking care less. I hate you, Adam. I hate you so much you should hope to never find out just how much." Now I was shocked – to my very core. She hates me? How does she even know me? "What, why..." "Shut up!" Her eyes were still staring at the floor. "How I feel about you is inconsequential, because I have a greater calling in my life right now than to make you suffer" she said with gritted teeth. "I am not going to rest, or let anybody in this fucking world rest, until I get my brother home from those monsters you call family!" Her shouting filled my ears. "Eva mentioned something about your brother, what..." "Shut up! Just fucking listen so I can get the hell out of here. You can't live without your blond eye candy, fine! But you are to stay here, and you keep low, `cause if they find you, all is lost." She raised her head to meet me then. "You wouldn't like me when that happens, Adam, `cause if I can't save my brother I am taking all of you sons of bitches with me! If you get too close to one of them, like you did in Las Vegas, they can sense you, and they'll know who you are. If that ever happens, I expect a repeat of your performance!" My knees began to tremble as the image of that man's head flying away from his body filled my mind. She then took an envelope out of her leather coat and threw it on the bed. "It's some more money, use it carefully." She was speaking quietly now. She brushed past me and reached the door when I realized something. "How did you know where I was?" "Please, do you really think I wouldn't put a tracker on my most valuable asset? Don't bother looking for it, you'll never find it, and the strongest EMP won't neutralize it. I am always going to know where you are, Adam. I was supposed to come see you in a week like Eva said, but you had to fuck up everything like you always do, you fucking faggot." Tears started forming in my eyes as the door opened with Christian staring at the both of us. Evelyn took one look at him and started laughing hysterically. "This is your savior?! This j..." she stopped herself, changing her mind about what she was going to say. "Goodbye Blondie," she said with an evil smile and left out the door, closing it behind her. Christian stared at me a bit stunned for a moment, until he noticed the big hole in the wall to his left. "Holy shit, Adam." He put his hand in the hole, feeling it as if to make sure it was real. He stared at me again, and I bit my upper lip and closed my eyes, preparing for the worst. Evelyn completely shook me up, and I knew one more push would be the end of me. But my angel didn't push me. Seeing my hurt expression, he immediately walked towards me and held me close to him. I buried my head in his shoulder and thanked God with all I had that he sent this angel to my rescue in the darkest hours of my life. He didn't say anything for a minute, simply holding me in his arms and stroking my coal black hair. "What happened, Adam?" he whispered in my ear, never letting me go from his arms. "That was Evelyn, I said with a choked voice, thought I was getting calmer by the second. "She came to warn me not to get caught again and to..." He didn't urge me to speak. Instead, he took my hand and laid me down on the bed next to him. "She says she hates me, but she needs me to rescue her brother." Christian had a very confused look on his face, followed with a look of concern that almost made me cry again. "Why does she hate you?" "I have no idea. I have never seen her before I met her in that alley. She says her brother is being kept by my father and the people he works for, and I am somehow part of her plan to rescue him." I snuggled closer to Chris, taking the initiative for the first time, and he welcomed me with open arms, pressing me hard into his chest. "Whatever happens, we will go through it together. I am never letting you go." He kissed the top of my head and stroked my hair, and I knew what bliss really was. I had no idea what was in store for me, and I felt that with each passing day I seemed to know less and less about who I am and where I'd come from. But now I knew I was not alone in it anymore and was sure that with Chris by my side, I could overcome everything. As long as he was here... as long as... I noticed he was no longer shaking. ---------------------- Please send feedback to "The.Perfect.Form@gmail.com". Thanks!!!
