Wykester University: Discovery: 6 Awakening "Umm....could someone please explain to me what is going on? And why are you looking at me like that?" asked a nervous Kiersten, still floating in the air, his wings and hair flowing with the wind. The Tenth ran up to him, grabbed his hand and pulled him to the ground and immediately placed both of his hands on Kiersten's body before they started glowing a crisp purple. 'We're getting you out of here first,' replied the Tenth, still in shock. "No! I can't and won't leave Earth like this. Look, it's nearly destroyed. I did all of this. And without repairing it, I'm not leaving, that's final. You might be the powerful Ten or whatever it is, but remember, I too am an Archangel now, and I'm not just a pushover." The Ten still stared at the teen. His appearance reminded them of the boy Valian. ...Eras ago, the Disphisux had launched an attack across the whole of Urania. The Archangels had split up to go and fight. When all of the Archangels were busy fighting, the Disphisux loaded up their strongest weapon, the Wizdernt. They aimed their attack towards the royal kingdom or Urania and shot. With no one to help guard the kingdom, the Archangels all busy elsewhere, the Warriors fled, for they knew that they couldn't even hinder the attack, let alone stop it. They sent message out to all the Archangels, but to no avail. They were too busy fighting the others. At the precise moment, when the Wizdernt's shot was heading straight toward the Kingdom, Valian arose. He summoned up all his energy and without any hesitation, he said, "Feel the Wrath of God." And before the eyes of everyone, he transformed into an Archangel, not the Final Archangel Power, but the Archangel Valian. "You have been deceived. For there is yet one more Archangel, me." Summoning the power of the land around him, he formed a perfect, defensive barrier. Jumping into the air, he took hold of his sword and raced to the beam of Wizdernt. And with a single slice, he deflected the beam, separating it into four parts, each aimed back towards where they originated from. From then on, Wizdernt ceased to exist... "Warriors, the other six are coming. It is your duty to fix Earth. Be warned, fail, and your families shall pay." Ordered the Third. "What the fuck! Is all you can do give orders? You all are pathetic," roared Kiersten as he started running toward the area where the Warriors stood, still immobilized. Before he was able to reach them, arrows of pure darkness rained down upon them, surrounding Kiersten. An eerie, cold voice spoke from all around: "My my Valian. You are still the same beautiful person I remember. Even more rebellious huh? Come now, join me and I can give you more joy and love than you can imagine. All you have to do is marry me. So what will it be?" "I don't know what the fucking Hell you are, but whatever you are, get lost and freaking leave me alone!" "Tisk tisk, temper my baby." "Valian, err, Kiersten, you have to leave here. The Disphisux will stop at nothing to capture you, please. You must leave." "Wait....Disphisux....Valian? I know those words....The War of Nilve. I'M VALIAN?" "Yes, you must leave." "Not so fast, there. You obnoxious Ten. I should have gotten rid of you when I had the chance." "Your anger won't get you far. Kumarkow," whispered the Tenth. "Oh you still remember me! What fun! Well, then, I wonder if you remember how to destroy my favorite warriors. Have fun guys!" the voice disappeared and was replaced with gaunt, skeletal warriors, adorned not in clothing, but some type of pure, evil energy. "No, not the Ewxidgs," whispered the First. "We have no choice, we must fight. Whatever happens, do not let Valian be hurt!" bellowed the Fifth. The Warriors free, from their place, quickly adorned themselves with their pendants. Colossal armor, weapons, and metal wings, colored in the respective color of their Planet, appeared on them. As the first wave of Ewxidgs prepared to attack, six were decapitated as six more Warriors joined the group. "No time for introductions now, let's kick some ass!" hollered one of the newcomers, obviously enjoying the idea of killing Ewxidgs. Kiersten looked around and found his two friends, or ex-friends. He rushed over to them, picked up with ease, and bound off to the University. Lylene awaited them as they appeared. She let out a small gasp to which Kiersten answered: "No time, just protect all the kids." As he prepared to rush off, Hayden grabbed Kiersten's hand. "Kiersten, I'm so sorry. I really didn't mean to. I don't know what happened. Please, you have to forgive me," pleaded a desperate Hayden. Kiersten looked back at him and said: "Matters of the heart are give only one, and one chance. You are no longer the man I thought I could love Hayden. I'm sorry, but this is as far as it goes." "NO! Kiersten, it's my entire fault. I told him to relax and said that I would give him a quick blowjob to get things of his mind. It wasn't..." "Well it obviously did get his mind of things Dave. If I really mattered to him, he wouldn't have given in to you. So I must thank you for making me realize that. I don't mean to sound like the bitch from Hell, but that's how I feel. You have no idea what it feels like." "But we do, we felt the pain." "You felt a portion of it Hayden. You know nothing. And now, I don't even know what life has in stock for me. Fate has somehow decided to make me Valian, who was the Final Archangel, Power. Who knows what my destiny is. But one thing is sure, my destiny doesn't include you." With a cold shoulder, Kiersten ran back up to the action. The Ten and the Warriors fought the Ewxidgs with skill, but the Ewxidgs matched all their movies. It seemed no side had an advantage. That is...until Kiersten came back. "No Kiersten. You have to leave. I beg you!" cried out Mark Davidson. His moment's lack of attention was the all the moment the Ewxidg needed before it rammed an evil, psionic, sword past Mark's armor and into his heart. "NOOOOOO!" yelled Kiersten as he came running to Mark. Before the Ewxidg had time to think about what had just happened, it was pounded by the full force of Kiersten which sent the Ewxidg flying and hitting another one, and another, as the domino effect took place. Using the sudden moment of free time, the Archangels once more called forth bows and arrows, similar to what they had done with Kiersten, and within seconds, all the Ewxidgs had at least 4 bows sticking out of their body. Kiersten leaned over Mark's body, crying. 'No Mark, you can't give up. You must live, for your family, your people, your Earth, for me...' The Ten and the other Warriors surrounded Kiersten and Mark, each silently praying that Mark would by some miracle survive. Kiersten, through teary eyes, put his hand over the pendant. It radiated under his hold and Earth stood still. No wave, no wind, nothing, moved. Kiersten pulled the pendant of Mark and got up, and started walking over to the University. With eyes glowing gold, he plunged on, straight through the doors, the people inside frozen by time. For time on Earth had frozen. Working his way through walls, doors, furniture, and anything else that stood in his way, Kiersten finally reached the staff's sanctuary. There, Kiersten stepped onto the middle of the table, cluttered with all sorts of equipment. The others followed him silently, wondering what was going on. They stood gazing as Kiersten just stood there. And in one fluid mouthful, he muttered: "Open, Temple of Earth." The table started shaking as it sank underground. The others gasped as they saw beneath them, an ancient door, covered in a clear picture of Earth and its symbol, the heart. Taking out the pendant, Kiersten placed it on the heart, awaiting something. Suddenly, the heart and the pendant both started glowing a clearish tint, and the door opened every so slowly. Kiersten walked inside, and when the others tried to follow him, it closed on them. They stood patiently, seeing what would happen, hoping Valian wasn't in trouble. Inside, Kiersten entered the cavern-like place. In the center, stood a clear ball. Placing his hands on the ball, Kiersten closed his eyes. Ever so slowly, the ball started glowing clear, its warmth spreading out in waves. And in one sudden moment, Kiersten opened his eyes and whispered, "Awaken Mahut, Guardian of Earth." A beam of pure energy shot from the ball, and raced upwards towards the body of Mark Davidson. Upon contact, his body shimmered once, twice, and disappeared. In his place, stood a mythical creature, one of the Ten Dorigans, each, a Guardian of a planet. The Dorigans were a race of creatures that were killed off a long time ago for the Disphisux had feared their power. Only ten remained, and they became the protectors of each planet. The Dorigans were a combination if griffins, unicorns, dragons, and all other mythical creatures of Urania. Ten pendants were crafted for each pf the Dorigans, to hide their form from the enemies, for they would have been instantly killed if evil ever saw them. The Dorigan opened its wings, and with a single swoop, flew down towards the Temple. The Warriors and the Ten stepped out of the way in the last possible second as the Dorigan made its way to the room where Kiersten stood. Upon reaching the door, the Dorigan took its tail, snaked it around the pendant, pulled it down from the heart, and rammed through the door, now only splinters. With magnificent grace, the Dorigan stood in front of Kiersten. Bowing its head, the creature brought its tail up to Kiersten, hading him the pendant. In a trancelike state, Kiersten placed the pendant over the mythical creature's neck, and the pendant once more radiated, and dissolved into the Dorigan's skin. Time on Earth once more was restored, and everyone continued on as if nothing had happened. Except for Kiersten of course, who fell to the ground. The Dorigan changed its form to a more human form, though still with wings and Dorigan eyes. It gently picked up Kiersten, and led him up to the sanctuary where the others waited. The Ten let out a scream and ran toward Kiersten and the Dorigan slowly placed him in the middle and said: "He is very tired. The ritual took much out of him. He will need rest. Earth is no longer a safe place for him. It would be wise to take him to your home. I would accompany you, but I must rebuild Earth." "Oh my. Your one of the Ten Dorigans. Guardian of Earth, are you not?" "Yes, that is my name and my purpose. Now be gone, and take good care of my child for me. He is but starting to remember." came the same mixture of voices that told of the awakening of Final Archangel, Power, in the War of Nilve. Tristan: Hey guyz! How ya'll doing. This one was a quick one; I had nothing to do this weekend (heh). This is the last part to the Unit Discovery. Thanks for the emails I got last time. I now know that I'm not wasting your time, Nifty's time, and my time. I want to see what you have to say for Discovery. I know that the last part is very confusing, stay with me here. The next chapter will clear up everything, I hope, to some extent. Remember, this story is built on a lot of mystery and past stuff. I think the reaction between Hayden and Kiersten will surprise most, if not all. This might be the last chapter Hayden is in again, for a very long time. There is a reason for him and Kiersten to not be together. It will be clear as to why later on. Kiersten and Valian are now the same people. So remember him for now. I hope the next Unit, Training, is just as good, if not better. So wish me luck. Remember, email me. forgotten_secretz@yahoo.com
