This story will involve a few boys on a special trip around the earth at different times and years. It's will get better after a few chapters.
Chapter 1 "The first time"
"Cody, William, hurry up." My Dad yelled out. Coming Dad." I said.
Hi my name is Cody, I'm 12 going on 13 and my cousin William is almost 12. We are off to the newest attraction that was built in our city. We live in New Mexico, a town called Trinity.
The year was 2189. Yes we are living a dream life with all the latest technical aids in the world. Today we are heading to "Tomorrow's city", a new arcade game that you can interactive with other's in different times and years.
For example, you can head back to the stone age and to the future and explore what life might have been. Today me and my cousin were going to enter the big silver chamber and begin our newest adventures.
"So where are we going first." William asked me. "How about the 1900's and see what life was like in those times." I said to my cousin. We had on special suits that changed our clothing so that we could fit in to the time line we entered.
Like if we were in the 1960, we would wear clothing of that time line so that we would fit in. Our arm bands allowed us to return to the present time and they could not be removed by anyone except for the robot who put them on our arms.
"Ok William, turn the time to the year 1901 and then we will be taken to that time in New York." I said. "Ok Cody, here we go." William replied as he pushed the buttons to send us to New York in the year of 1901.
The door closed and the lights dimmed as we were transported back to the time we wanted. It took only seconds for us to travel back into time and then the door opened and we saw hundreds of people walking past us.
The chamber was invisible to everyone except for us boys so we could see the door when we wanted to return. "Right then, let's see what we can do here in New York." I told my cousin.
Our clothing had changed to that period so we fit in with the other kids dressed in nice clothing. We walked around seeing how New York looked like in the 1900's and boy was it different to how it looked like in our time line.
"Boy it sure pongs here." William moaned. `Yeah, it sure does.' I replied. The smell of smoke filled the air, and the smell of trash on the streets sure made your nose twitch.
A group of boys were running on people's stoops as they ran around knocking on people's doors and then running away giggling as they tormented the owners of the houses.

"He means we are just standing here seeing the sights." I said in my best New York accent. "I see, well you better get a move on as you're not from this neighborhood.' The teen replied and yes we stood out as our clothing was newer than his and we were in the lower class side of New York.
`Ok, thanks.' I said and we took off to the center of the city finding better class of people there. We found a restaurant to eat in and the food of this time was sure different to what we ate back in our time.
Our game tracker had all the different types of money we needed and it never ran out. `Good afternoon boys, what would you like to order?" An old lady asked as she wiped the table with a clean cloth.
"May we have a menu please as we are new in town." I replied. The lady placed a large menu onto the table and we sat there trying to figure out what the food was on the menu.
William had a hand remote computer that was hidden to everyone and asked what the food we read on the menu. It would explain what a steak sandwich was and how to eat it.
So we ordered some steak sandwiches and a salad and some milk. A young boy came in and asked if we had any spare change as he was hungry. `Please sit with us and order what you like." I told the boy.
He was about the same age as me but a lot thinner and he looked a little ragged. The lady tried to move him on but we told her we had money to cover his meal and anything he wanted was on us.

After 10 minutes our food arrived and it sure was strange seeing real food that smelt different to what we ate in our time line. Yes we had food but most of it was in sealed containers and you had to use a special machine to cook it.

"It's ok Timmy; he's just making a joke.' I told our new friend. I tried some of my baked potato and the butter melted over the big potato as our travel helper told us to put the yellow stuff onto the hot potato and taste it.
`Timmy, tell us about yourself?' I asked him while he chewed his steak. `Oh, I live on the lower west side and I stay in a home for boys." Timmy replied. `So you don't have any parents then." William asked him.

I waved my hand to get the lady to come over and bring more food to our table. I showed her a $20 note and that got her attention. "Can you please make us some sandwiches and place them in a container for this young boy." I told the lady and handed her the $20 note.
She took off and made some ham and cheese sandwiches and placed them in some brown paper and tied it up. She returned and told us what she had made for the boy.
William then found us a room to stay in as we decided to stay the night. In our time it was only a few seconds since we had been in New York so an overnight would be around two hours in our time.
"You want to come with us and sleep over with us guys." I asked Timmy. "Oh yes please." Timmy said and gave us a huge smile. `Right then, we need to get a few things and we need a department store first so can you take us to a store somewhere around here." I asked Timmy.
Timmy told us about a local department store that sells just about everything and we got up and grabbed the sandwiches and took off to the center of the city and found a department store that was for rich people.
As we entered the store Timmy stopped and said he was not allowed inside as he was poor. `You are coming with us Timmy, anyone says a word and we will do something about it.' I told him.

Timmy's eyes opened wide as we explained how we arrived to his time line and that we were in a futuristic game.
`It's not true, how can you be from the future." Timmy gasped. William got out of the tub and grabbed our hand held computer and pushed the button so that the computer was now able to be seen by Timmy.
`As you can see, this is something that cannot be found in the 19th century it makes it easy for us to fit in where ever we go and it can make money and send us to different times and do things that nothing on this earth can do at this very time." William said and entered a few key words into the computer and in seconds a few hundred dollar bills appeared in front of Timmy.

"I will miss you all, be safe and thank you for everything.' Timmy said as a few tears fell down his face. Then the door closed and we took off back to our time line.
It was a good three hours we had stayed in the past and my dad was asking how our time was in the game. `It was the best Dad, we have to come here again as we have loads of places to see." I said and grabbed William's hand as we walked to our transport and headed home.
