Date: Mon, 11 Jul 2011 00:37:45 +0100 From: Jake T-L Subject: Aiden's Story - Chapter One So... to begin with the mandatory disclaimers and warnings that I know most of you won't read, but here goes. This story is a work of fiction. All the events described hereafter are merely figments of my imagination, and although some might be taken from my past, the details have been changed and the names altered. So that goes to say that the characters in this story are also completely fictional, and so any resemblance to any people that might be reading this, or to people who aren't reading this, is purely coincidental. The story also features sexually explicit scenes between consenting minors, so if you are offended by such scenes, or if it is illegal to read this where you live, then please look away now, and don't look back *insert scary face* No, but seriously, how did you get this far and then think that maybe this wasn't your cup of tea? This story is my own work, and is not to be posted anywhere else (on the internet, or otherwise) without my consent... *evils* So, to commence with the reason you are actually here -- the story! I hope to see you at the other side and hope that you will continue to read this series as it progresses. I have several chapters already planned/written and will try to update the story about twice a week (if you get more you'll be lucky :P). P.S. - Oh, and this chapter might seem a little slow, at first, but please give the story a chance, as I want it to develop, and for the character's to develop. This is NOT a one-and-done story, so it will be stretched out. ........................................................................... Chapter One "Aiden Jones, get your skinny little butt down here now!" My mum could really scream the roof of off any building if she wanted. I mean seriously, who needs a cock when you have a mother... No! I don't mean one of them; I mean a rooster, a cockerel, a male chicken! Geez! "Aiden, if I have to tell you one more time, God help you! You can't be late for your first day back." "Alright, alright...!" I call back, rolling over and onto my front in my bed. "I'm coming!" I haul myself out of my bed, dressed only in a pair of loose fitting boxers that seem to have crawled up my arse during the night. I head over to my dresser and look at the clothes my mum had me get ready the night before, then chuck them on my bed ready to put on. But first thing's first: shower. The benefits of having an en-suite bedroom are countless for me. One - I don't have the pain of having to wait for an hour before my mum is finished in there. Two - I don't have the pain of having to wait an hour for my brother to be finished in there. Three - no one has the pain of having to wait an hour for me to finish in there! I could go on, but I'll stop. Of course, I can't take an hour this morning, or the rooster will be trying to de-roof the house, and every house in the street, again. Instead I just let the soothing, warm water wake me up and then send my hands caressing softly over my bare skin; down my chest, down my legs, my back, my butt... Naughty! Now clean and dressed, I sit at the breakfast table with my brother, he's Harry by the way, and my younger sister, that's Isobelle (or Izzy, which she prefers). It turns out that I am, in fact, no later than normal; my mum was just stressing, one of her many 'endearing' qualities. Anyway, she is happy now that I am all ready and getting stuck into a bowl of cereal with a glass of orange juice to wash it down. "Where's Daddy?" Izzy asks mum. "He's had to go into work early today, dear," she replies. "You know he gets very busy at this time of the year, and the guys at the office like him to be in bright and early to make a good start." Izzy looks disappointed, but she continues to eat her breakfast, albeit with a frown on her face. I think she's closer to dad than me and Harry are, but then it's easy to understand why, since we hardly ever see him. Not that we see mum that much either to be honest; if she isn't out with her girlfriends she will be having a meal with dad or something. And of course, we can't be seen with them as we would only embarrass her socially, or play up. Sensing a bit of resentment here? Hmm... thought so. I mean, my parents aren't that bad, when they're around, but they rarely are around. Once I finish my breakfast I stack my empty bowl on the side and down the rest of the orange juice. A quick glance at the clock and then I rush upstairs to fetch my bag and make sure everything is packed and ready for my first day of Year 8. "Aiden, I didn't know you were half elephant. Did you get that from your father or from me?" Mum shouts upstairs after me. "I think that's definitely one of your genes, mum!" I call back, proud at the speed of my reply. However, on my way back downstairs I make a point of being less heavy footed than when I went up. Harry is already waiting for me at the door when I am down there, a look on his face that defines impatience. "Okay mum, we're off now," he calls. "Oh, Harry, before you go," mum starts. "You should know that I won't be here when you get back, so I'll need you to pick your sister up from school before you get home. I, Tilly and the girls are going shopping this afternoon, so I won't be home until your father is in." "Alright mum, will do." With that, me and Harry leave the house and head down the front path on the way to school. For brothers we get along quite well, I mean, compared to some of my friends, we get along really well. I think it helps that we have so much in common, whereas a lot of my friends have nothing in common with their brothers. On the way to school we pick up a few strays that decide to join our gang. Firstly, Harry meets his girlfriend, Rachel, which leaves me as a bit of an outsider for a while, but then I see Callum across the road and I run over to meet him. Callum is one of my closest friends. He and I went to the same Primary School together since we were about 5 years old, so we have known each other now for nearly eight years. All the girls love Callum, as he is apparently really good looking (he has brown hair, like me, but he has blue eyes and freckles across his nose and cheeks), but I think they also like him because he is in the football team and plays lots of sports. We then spot Dylan a little way ahead of us, walking with his brother and his brother's friend. I haven't known Dylan for quite as long as I have known Callum, but we're all still good friends. "Hey, Dylan!" Me and Callum call. Dylan stops walking and turns around. "Oh hey guys," Dylan begins. "I didn't notice you behind me." At this point his brother, Reece, also stops walking with his friend, and turns back to greet us. "It's Reece's first day today," says Dylan. "So mum's made me walk him to school." "Oh right," I begin. "That kinda sucks, I suppose." "Hey! Dylan loves me really!" Reece chirps in, throwing an arm around his big brother's shoulder and flashing a cheeky 11 year-old grin. Dylan just brushes his arm off his shoulder and tuts, "Yeah! You keep thinking that, squirt!" ... and before long our little gang is at school. ................................................................................................................... "Now, as always, discipline will remain a key element to the school's success. Anyone caught in breach of the school's code of conduct will be punished accordingly. I doubt any of you will need reminding of these guidelines, but you'll find in your daily planners a list of what the school deems unacceptable behaviour inside of lessons and outside of lessons. Needless to say you will be asked to maintain a high level of professionalism outside of lesson times as well as during your lessons..." Assemblies are all the same. A long speech about what is expected and then about half an hour of the teachers just repeating what has already been said. Boring! I'm just grateful that we only have one a week, and that one is never as long as the 'Welcome Back' assembly. But that's one thing that is good about the first day back at school. Despite all the rushing about in the morning, despite that feeling of dread that fills your stomach and eats you up from the inside out, the first day back is always off timetable, so that you have almost no proper lessons for the whole day. And so after the all-too long-winded assembly we are freed from the main theatre to go and eat lunch. And that leads me to the next good thing about the first day back at school: meeting friends that you haven't seen for the whole summer. I have already seen Callum and Dylan, two of my closest friends, but someone that I really look forward to seeing is Ben. Once outside it didn't take me very long to spot him. His trademark blonde hair, gelled into a line down the centre of his head to make a Mohican, gave him away. That and his eyes - piercing blue, shining through the crowds of people like cold, distant, azure suns. I worm my way through the mass of students and give him an overzealous high-five that leaves both our hands stinging and red. "Hey dude!" I exclaim. "Hi Aiden!" He replies. "How are you?" We share a brief conversation, just catching up with each other after 6 weeks not seeing each other. Ben doesn't have many friends in school that he can hang out with, and so I spend most of my free time at school with him, but not because I feel I have to. Ben and I are probably closer as friends than me and Callum. I don't know what it is exactly, it's hard to pinpoint, but there's something that connects with me and Ben that just seems to be missing with Callum and Dylan. Whilst speaking with Ben, though, I notice something that I don't usually see in him. His eyes were always like gems to me, they sparkled with life and colour, but today, his blue orbs are somehow so devoid of life, and there's a sadness behind them that I can't comprehend. I've seen it in him before, but this time it seems real and dangerous. But at the very moment I notice it, the sadness disappears and his usual mask returns. .................................................................................................................. "Okay, class. Settle down, please," barks the teacher over the noise of the kids as we enter the classroom. It's our last lesson of the day - our only lesson of the day in fact, after lunch. However, it just happens to be Sex Ed. As is our normal routine, Callum, Dylan and I head to the back of the class and take our seats. "Okay, well welcome back to school. I'm sure you're all totally enthused and reinvigorated after the summer holidays." The teacher is greeted with a chorus of tuts and sighs. "I'll get straight to it then. What you'll be learning with me is the ins and outs of sexual intercourse: what its purpose is, how it works, and the dangers that can be there if you don't act responsibly." I think I'll take a bit of time here to introduce our good friend Mr. George. He's quite an elderly man, maybe in his late fifties, though it probably doesn't help his case that he hasn't a single hair left on his head. Most of us like him really though - he isn't really strict, as most older teachers tend to be, though he does have this thing where he will clap his hands together which makes the class jump out of their skin! "So do any of you know what this is?" Mr. George holds up a condom packet, takes one out and removes it from the packaging. I feel my own face reddening, as do the faces of most of my classmates. We all know what it is, but none of us make a move to explain to the class what it is. "Oh come on! One of you must know. I don't believe for a minute that none of you know what this is." He's playing with it in his hands now, and I can't help but think it just a little bit weird. Finally, though, someone in the corner of the room shouts out what it is. "Okay, that's right. But do we know what it is used for?" The same person answers again, "It's to stop your girlfriend getting pregnant, sir." "That's right, James, but it also has another purpose. Condoms are not only a form of contraception (that's a way of stopping the woman getting pregnant), but they also stop you from getting sexually transmitted diseases or infections. STDs." The class continues in the same vain, and by the end of it I have seen pictures of men's parts, pictures of girl's bits... but probably most disturbing of all was the image of Mr. George putting the condom over a plastic version of an erect penis! Terrifying. I think I am now scarred for life. Needless to say that when the bell rings we all jump up from our seats eager to exit. I hastily gather my things and sling my bag over my shoulder. "I'll see you tomorrow then, Aiden," calls Callum as he heads out of the door before me. "Yeah sure thing," I answer. "D'you wanna save me from my brother and his friend tomorrow?" Dylan asks, waiting for me to be ready before leaving the classroom with me. "I don't think I can stand walking with Year 7's for two days running." I chuckle, "Yeah, I'll call for you in the morning. See ya then." With the goodbyes said and now heading out of the school I look out for Ben again, and am quickly presented with his pearly white grin as he runs up behind me and taps me on the shoulder. "Wow! Someone's in a good mood," I say. "Yeah, well school's out. There's no need to be down," comes the reply. "So how was school then?" "Oh, you know. The usual," he starts. "I'm just glad it's over now." "I know what you mean. I had ol' Georgie last - Sex Ed. Man! I don't think I'm ever gonna look at my parents in the same way again!" "Yikes, man! That's a bad start to the year. But, hey... I have an idea. You know the team are playing at home this weekend," Ben says, referring to the local football team who were playing this weekend. "Well, I was wondering if you wanted to come see it with me. I think my mum can spare the money, and if you want to you can spend the night on Friday, so we can just go together." "Ah cool. Yeah, I'd love to!" Real enthusiasm there. By the time our conversation ends I realise I am standing outside his house, and so we say our goodbyes, awkwardly waving each other off. Then I continue home, my stomach no longer filled with dread, but now a feeling of butterflies fluttering inside as I look forward to Friday night and the Saturday after. But mostly the Friday night! ........................................................................... Okay then, thanks a lot for reading this chapter. I hope you all enjoyed it, despite the lack of any 'action', but as I said I am going to promise much more in the coming chapters and hopefully you'll enjoy that just as much. I always welcome your comments, feedback, criticism or and suggestions, though I do have a plan for the next few chapters and several of them are already written and just waiting to be sent off. Send your comments to jake.t-l@hotmail.co.uk and I will try to reply to each one. Thanks again, and look out for more chapters coming soon!
