There was no school tomorrow, because it was Labor Day. School was going to start on Tuesday, the forth. When I got home, I told Mom and Dad this, but they were going to see if I was going to get up and go to school tomorrow. They had a great big laugh about it, but I was glad that we had one more day off from school. I was still going to be at Isaac's house tomorrow morning to see him, but I wasn't sure if he knew it was a holiday. I gave his mother a call. That sneaky little Isaac was in on it too. I will have to think of a way to get him back for this little joke. The next morning I was up and ready to go see MY Isaac. I was at his house around eight thirty that morning. He had a great big smile on his face and I wasn't sure if it was because of the joke, or because he loved me. Right now I didn't really care, I was with MY Isaac. We spent the whole day together, just hanging out around his place. We did go to town for lunch at a fast food place. The food was okay, but I would prefer something a little better then this. At the end of the day, I once again, told Isaac that I would be here to pick him up for school. He just gave me a super cute smile when I told him that. He told me that he would be ready and for me not to be late. I gave him a hug goodbye and again I was on my way home. This time our summer vacation was over, DARN! The next morning, Mom was up making breakfast. Dad and Grandpa were already out in the orchard doing something. They wanted to get an early start, so that they could finish before it got to hot. Mom asked me if I was going to take a lunch with me, or just eat in the cafeteria today. I told her that Isaac and I would most likely eat at the school. I didn't want to bother with packing a lunch today; it's a lot easier to just get something at the snack bar. I gave Mom a hug goodbye and then left to go get MY Isaac. When I arrived a at his house, he was already to go. He was wearing his new clothes that his mother and I picked out for him. He wasn't too happy, because he had his leg braces on and he really hates them. He knew that he would need them, but he still didn't want to wear them. I helped him into the car and then we were on our way. We had plenty of time before school started and Isaac knew it too. He wanted me to pull over, so he could kiss me. I found a place out of the sight of the road and we had our good morning kiss and hug. He was very happy, but he wanted more. He wanted to have a quickie before we went to school. I told him that we could do that after school, but he wanted it NOW! He was giving me cute looks, like he just wanted me to love him and I couldn't resist him, even for a second. I got out of the car and went around to where he was sitting. I opened the door and he just turned so that he could sit and suck me off. He quickly undid my pants and then he had them down around my ankles in no time. I knew he loved me, so I just gave him what would make him happy. I was really glad that I pulled off the road far enough, so nobody could see us. It would have been a sight if someone was driving by and seeing my butt hanging out. Isaac was just having the greatest time. He was touching me all over while he sucked me as hard as he could. It didn't take him long to get me off. Now it was his turn to get his penis sucked off. I pulled up my pants and then when to work on him. I really didn't need him naked, although, I would love to get him naked, but this wasn't the right place. All I really needed was access to his penis. I unbuttoned his pants and found his rock hard penis waiting for me. I just wrapped my lips around the head of it and sucked him as hard as I could. About fifteen seconds later, he blew off. He was just too horny to hold off for to long. We were done in less then ten minutes. We made sure we were dressed properly, before we started on our way again. We still made it to school way before we had to be there, but I wanted to make sure we got our class schedules before to many others started to crowd the cafeteria. I didn't want Isaac to have to stand in that line for to long. I found a place as close to the cafeteria as I could get and parked the car, so I could help MY Isaac. When we got our class schedules, I just looked at my schedule to see what classes I had to take this year. I had six classes that I hoped that MY Isaac was going to be in with me. I had an English, Math, History and Science class, but this year, my PE class was my first period. I was really glad to get it out of the way early, but I still wished that I didn't have to bother with it at all. Also, this year, I had a ceramic class. I was thinking that would be fun. I always liked playing in the dirt when I was little. Maybe playing with clay would be just as fun. After reading my schedule, I looked at Isaac; he was just smiling at me, big time. He was up to something, I could tell. I asked him what he was planning this time and then he just showed me his class schedule. I couldn't believe it; Isaac was again in ALL but one of my classes. This was unbelievable. I wanted to know how he did it this time. I asked him and he told me that he asked his mother to call the school over the summer and to make sure that he was in all of my classes. He wanted me in them, because I was the only one who could read his sign language and he wanted me to be able to tell others what he was saying. I just gave him a little hug. I didn't want others to think that something was wrong, so I was careful not to let people think that we were lovers, which we were. Isaac's first class was the library, where he would learn to do his sign language. I'm sure if Isaac learns anything new, he would teach it to me. I was more then happy to learn anything from the boy that I love. I was sure that he would love to learn anything from me as well. When the bell rang, we had to separate for the time being. Isaac wasn't happy about it, but the time would go quickly and then we would be together again for the rest of the day. When I got to the gym, David was just standing all by himself, so I went over to talk to him. He seemed happy that I was in this gym class with him and asked me if I wanted to be his locker partner again. I told him yes and he gave me a very nice smile. This year, our coach was, Mr. Simon. He was pretty nice, not like Coach Mills. Coach Keffner was also here, but he was the freshman Coach and not the Sophomore Coach. I said hello to him when I got the chance. Coach Simon told us that we would start our class next Monday; this would give others the time that they needed to get their gym clothes together. After Coach Simon explained a few things to us, he let us chat with the other kids until the bell ring. David and I talked for the rest of the class. David told me that he had a part time summer job that his dad got him. He told me that he liked it, but really wanted more of the summer off. I told him what Isaac and I did too, but I didn't mention anything about the great sex that we had. I think that David might think that we are gay; by the way I manly talked about Isaac. He didn't say anything about it, but he did give me some pretty cute smiles. When the bell rang, I was out the door in a flash. I wanted to meet up with MY Isaac as soon as I could. I saw him making his way up to our next class, History. He started to smile when he saw me. We made our way to our next class. Isaac made very sure that he was sitting right next to me. I was going to make sure he was too. I love him so much, that he is just about all I ever think about. Our first day of school was going along pretty good. History went okay, and then we had a Science class. This year, we didn't have Mr. Bennett. I was really hoping that we would, but not this year. Our fourth period class was English, with a different teacher from last year. Then we had our lunchtime. Isaac wanted to see what they had in the cafeteria, so we went in to check it out. What they were serving wasn't too bad so we just ate what they had. We met up with Sandra and Paula and had lunch with them. We just talked while we ate, we had a nice time and told them that we should do this more often. Fifth period was our Math class. Again, with a different teacher then last year, but our last class, ceramics, we had the same teacher that we had for Art last year, Mr. Macavoy. When he saw Isaac and me coming into his classroom again, he just had to stop what he was doing and come over to us to say hello. I really like Mr. Macavoy and I know that Isaac likes him too. We chatted until the bell rang and then the class started. He told us that we would be making cups and a teapot, out of clay. I thought this would be a lot of fun and couldn't wait to start doing that. It was even better in this class, because Paula was in this class with us. We were sorry that Sandra wasn't with us, but maybe she could get it changed. The class ended pretty fast, and then we had to go, but not before we stopped by Mr. Bennett's classroom. He was doing a few things when we came in. He stopped what he was doing and we talked for about fifteen minutes before we started for home. Now that Isaac and I have the car, we are in no rush to head for the busses. I was going to offer the girls a ride home, but they were very happy with the ride they had. The little car that Paula had was very nice and would get them around very well. As I was driving Isaac back to his house, we were discussing how our day went. For our first day back of our second year, it went pretty well. Isaac was just smiling at me all the way home, he wanted me to stay the night with him, but I wasn't sure if I could. I would call home as soon as we arrived at Isaac's house. His Mom said that it would be okay if I stayed, but I would have to get permission to stay the night. I called Dad and he told me that it was okay with him, so that was it. I told him that I loved him and I would see them tomorrow after school. Isaac's Mom made a great dinner and then we sat around and told both of his parents about our day. I thanked Isaac Mom for calling the school and having Isaac placed in as many of my classes as possible. She told me that she was very glad that Isaac and I are very good friends. Isaac's Dad was glad that I was watching out for him too. He was a little worried that he would be picked on because he was so small. I told the two of them that I would help him in anyway that I could. Isaac was just smiling at me just about the whole time we were chatting with his parents. As our first week at school was get close to being over, Sandra managed to have her class changed, so now she is in the same class that we are all in for ceramics. Isaac and I thought this was great; we have all four of us in one class that we could all enjoy being in together. All of us sat as close together as we could. Isaac really liked the closeness that we have in our new friends. The girls did sit across from us at the same little table. They were sitting next to each other and Isaac and I sat next to each other. We would laugh and make just a much noise as all the other kids. Mr. Macavoy didn't seem to mind, as long as we were not too loud. He seemed to like that all of his students were happy and having fun in his class. I know I loved it, even more so with my friends here with me. School was going good and our friendship with the girls was growing stronger each day. Isaac and I took them out to dinner a few times, which I think made them even happier to be our friends. Nearing the end of October, they invited Isaac and me to a Halloween party. This year, Halloween was on a Wednesday and Isaac wasn't sure that he would be allowed to go. I had a talk with his parents and told them that I was going to be there with him the whole time. They said that he could go, but not to stay out to long. I had to have him home by ten thirty. I would also stay the night at Isaac's house, because it was closer to where the party would be. Isaac was really looking forward to going. He has never been to a party like this before and really wanted to go. I was glad that his Mom and Dad said that it would be okay. The next time we saw the girls, we told them that we would love to go and asked them if we needed to bring anything. They just told us to just bring ourselves and have a great time. There were going to be a few other kids there too and the party was going to be at a place that was big enough. A friend of Paula was having the party at their house, because it was big enough to have the amount of people that was coming. They also told us to wear a costume so we would all look silly together. Isaac really wanted to go then, because he can't remember the last time he wore a costume. His Mom told me that she did take him out Trick-or-Treating a few times, but he has never been out after he got out of the hospital. I wanted this to be a very enjoyable time for him and asked his Mom if she could help find a costume that he would like. She was more then happy to help and found him something that she had to alter just a little so that it would fit him okay. Isaac was going to be an Elf. When he tried on his costume, he was SO cute that it was all that I could do to keep myself for kissing him. It was a green costume with the pointy toed shoes to go with it. He really liked it, but he wanted to know what I thought about it. He didn't want to wear it, if I didn't like it. I didn't like it, I LOVED it and it made him look absolutely adorable. I told him that a little later on that day, when we were alone and I could hold him in my arms and kiss him all over. Isaac's Mom also got me a costume. She found me a costume that made me look like a Warlock. She even got me the neat hat that went with it. When I tried it on, Isaac was just about drooling. He was in love with me, but I already knew that. Isaac's Mom had to alter my costume a little as well, but it didn't take her long and it was just right when she was done. After all our costumes where ready, she helped us with our makeup. She gave Isaac the pointy eyebrows and the rosy cheeks that made him look even cuter. She even got Isaac the pointy ears that made him look even more like an Elf. I wanted him so bad, but I didn't want to mess up his make up. Then Isaac's Mom spent almost thirty minutes just on me. She would do something, but then get this funny look on her face. Then she would wipe it off again. She told me that she wasn't happy with the way I looked and wanted me to be perfect. I told her that she didn't have to be so precise. She would just smile and say, "Quiet, a master is at work and I want this to be right". I would just smiled at her and let her have her fun. It must have been a long time since she had this much fun. Isaac was sitting off to my side making funny faces at me and that would make me smile and mess up my makeup. We had a great time. The party started at six o'clock in the evening, so we showed up just a little after six. Sandra and Paula where already there, talking with some of the other kids that were there already. They came over to us as soon as they saw us. Both of them looked great, they where both dressed like very cute rag dolls. You could really tell that they spent a lot of time on their costumes. Altogether, there was about twenty others here and about four or five parents as well. This house was very nicely decorated. All kinds of neat stuff hung from the ceiling and there where lots of carved pumpkins too. Isaac was looking at all the neat and different things. Then he saw the snack table. He wanted to try some of the neat Halloween food that they had here. We sampled a few things when the girl who was giving the party came up to us to say hello. Amy Rivers, a very popular High School senior was having her last party like this before she graduated and went off to college. She is very pretty and super nice. She has always been good friends with Sandra and Paula, but I don't think she knows that they are gay. She knew who we were and asked if we were having a goodtime. I told her that we were and thanked her for showing us a nice welcome. She smiled and asked Isaac if he ever went back to the gym, to see if he could make more baskets. He just blushed, smiled and shook his head, no. She just smiled and said that we looked great, and then she excused herself to go visit with her other guests. The music wasn't too loud and the food and punch was great. Isaac was having the best time looking at this big house, but stopped when he saw the big piano. This piano was a lot bigger then the one we have at home. I think this piano was a grand piano, but I wasn't sure. He signed that he would like to hear what it sounded like, but I didn't think he should use someone else's piano. He asked me if I could ask Amy if he could try it. I said that I would and went to find her. She was greeting some more kids that were just coming in. I asked her when I saw that she was alone. She was more then happy to hear someone play that piano. She told me that no one in her house knew how to play it. She went to the stereo and turned it off and told all the others that Isaac was going to play something for us. This got everyone's attention and I could see that Isaac was getting just a little nervous. I went back to help him sit at the keys and this seemed to help him a little. I told him to play what made him happy. He just smiled at me and signed that he was glad that I was here with him. Just about all the kids gathered around the piano and then Isaac started to play a little something. He was relaxing the more he played. He was playing something fun to listen to and a lot of the others were enjoying it as well. Then Isaac was really getting in to it, he was playing like I never heard him play before. He was having the best time and so were all the others. After he would play something, someone would ask him if he knew a curtain song and if he could play it. If he knew it, he would just start playing it, if he didn't know it; he would just shake his head, no. But most of the time, he did and would play the tune. Isaac played the piano for just about an hour, with quite a few applauds. Amy's parents thanked Isaac for making such beautiful music flow out of their piano. They told him that they never heard anyone play so well in person before. I told them what Isaac signed and then we continued with the party. Isaac was even more popular now then he was before. Others would come up to us and ask him how he learned to play so well. I had to tell them what he signed, but I didn't mind. Isaac was all smiles and signed that he loved me for bringing him to this party. I signed back, that I was more then happy to be here with him, he just melted my heart with a smile that he gave just to me. It just seemed that we arrived at the party and then we had to go. The party was still going strong when we told Sandra that we had to leave. She tried to talk us into staying a little longer, but we had to leave. I told her that I had to get Isaac home by ten thirty and it was a little after ten now. Amy came over and asked if something was wrong, I told her that we had to go. She also tried to talk us into staying, but Sandra told her why. She gave Isaac a little hug and said that she was sorry to see us go so soon. Then she hugged me and said thank you for coming to her party. We thanked her for inviting us. A few others saw that we were about to leave and came over to say goodbye. I looked at Isaac and I could see that he really wanted to stay. I did too, but we had to get home. We made our way to the car and headed off into the darkness. Isaac was looking at all the houses that had lit pumpkins still going. He really liked this time of year and I was hoping that we could do this again sometime. When we got back to Isaac's house, both his parents were up and waiting for us. They wanted to know how the party was. Isaac and I told them everything that we did. Isaac couldn't stop telling them how much I helped him with this or with that. Both of his parents were very happy that their son was happy. He was happy; I could see it in his cute face. Later, after we were getting ready for bed, I asked him if he really liked going to the party. He just looked at me and kissed me right on the lips and then signed that he had the greatest time and thanked me for taking him. I told him anytime. I helped Isaac get into his bed and then I got into my little cot that I sleep on every time I sleep over at Isaac's house. It's pretty comfortable and it's really easy to fold up and put away. The best part about it is that it's in Isaac's room and we can still have our fun if we wanted too. We would just have to be careful, so that we don't get caught, not here anyways. The next day at school, there were quite a few kids looking at us and some even came up to us and asked Isaac if he really played the piano the night before (I guess the word got around about him playing the piano at the party). I told all who asked, that he is very good and maybe someday he'll play for them. Isaac just smiled at me and then bumped me in the arm with his head. I loved it and I wanted to just kiss him. Sandra and Paula came by and said that they were very happy that we came to the party. I was hoping that we could go to another someday. Thanksgiving was fast approaching and I was hoping that Mom would let me invite Isaac and his parents over for dinner. Mom and Dad both told me that would be okay with them, but they might have other plans. I asked Isaac and he told me that they were staying home, BUT, other family members were coming over and he couldn't make it to my house. I was really hoping he would be able to, but not this year. I quickly asked him about Christmas. He told me that he wasn't sure what they were planning to do, so I asked them over for dinner. His Mom told me that they couldn't make any final decision about that. It was still well over a month away. She told me that I was welcome to come over for dinner on Christmas. I also told her that I wasn't sure what I could do as well. She just said to let her know. I would do what I could to be with MY Isaac. This year, Ronald couldn't make it home for Thanksgiving and Karen was going over to Andy's parent's house. This was really starting to suck. No big brother, sister or MY Isaac here with me. I hated it. Mom and Dad did have Grandpa and Grandma over for dinner and the pies that Grandma made were enough to make the Devil happy. She must have known that I wasn't too happy without the people that I love very much here with me. The next morning I was up and went over to see MY Isaac. He was very happy to see me and had some super great news for me. Again, his mom wanted to travel to Los Angeles to see her sister until after the first of the year. I was really hoping that Isaac could stay with us, while they were gone. Then Isaac asked me if he could stay with me at my house until they returned home. He already got their permission to stay with us. He really didn't need to ask, he knew I was going to say yes, but I had to call Mom and Dad and see if it would be okay. When I did call, they were very happy to have him stay with us. Mom and Dad love Isaac very much and would love to have him stay with us. This makes up for not having MY Isaac over for Thanksgiving, I was VERY happy about this. As Christmas approached, it seemed that the temperature was getting colder. On Saturday, December 15, Isaac was staying at my house. When we woke up in the morning, there was a dusting of snow on the ground. It really looked pretty, because we don't get snow here very often and this was kind of neat. Isaac wanted to go out and play in it and as soon as we were dressed, we went out together. It was cold and the snow was just starting to melt. It was also starting to rain a little, so Isaac wanted to go in. Dad had the house super nice and Isaac and I just cuddled by the wood stove so we could keep warm. The next day, it was pretty clear, but much colder. Isaac and I hated it and just stayed in the house until it was time to take him home. Next Friday, MY Isaac was coming to my house, until his parents would return after the first of the year. I know that Isaac would miss them, but I really think he loved being here with me, I know I did. The next morning, I got ready and then headed out to go get MY Isaac for our last week of school before Christmas vacation. When I arrived at Isaac's house, his parents wanted to talk to me. They wanted to get a head start and leave on Friday morning, the 21st, and asked me if Isaac could just come home with me after school on Thursday. I told them that would be fine with me, but I wanted to call Mom and Dad and tell them about the slight change. When I did, there was no problem with Isaac coming home with me one day earlier. Isaac was nothing but a smile and I could see that he was very happy. As the week continued, Dad told me that he saw on the weather report that it was supposed to get really cold. All day long on Tuesday and Wednesday he and grandpa where preparing for the really cold temperatures that we were going to get. Dad drained the Jacuzzi and asked mom to store several gallons of water, because he was going to turn the pump off and drain all the water out of the system. Dad didn't want any broken pipes to fix later. By the way the wind was blowing; I was thinking that dad and grandpa were right about what we were going to get. It was already Wednesday afternoon and the wind was already blowing about twenty miles pre hour. The temperature was also only about 40 degrees and it seemed that it was getting colder. I'm not used to weather like this. I like it when it hot and when it's not, the only thing I want to do, is cuddle with Isaac to keep warm. Dad and Grandpa stacked lots of wood by the back door of our house and at Grandpas house too. Mom told Dad to bring in as much wood as possible and stack it in the back porch, because she didn't want him opening the door all the time to get more. Dad also cleaned out the stove pipe, so that we wouldn't have any problems. Then he helped Grandpa with his stove pipe. I helped them when I dropped Isaac off at his house and came home. Isaac's Dad told me that he was going to turn off their water pump too, before they would go on their trip. He also didn't want to fix any broken pipes either. On Thursday morning it was really cold. The wind was still blowing about twenty miles per hour and it was about twenty four degrees out. I really hated that, I want it to warm up and the only thing it was doing, was freezing. This was also the day MY Isaac was coming home with me until his parents returned. I put on lots of clothes and went to start the car. It didn't want to start right away, but it eventually did. The cold was affecting, not only me, but our car as well. Mom wasn't having that much fun either. She was having a hard time with the Christmas tree. She normally would have Grandma and Karen help her with the tree, but not this time. Karen wasn't going to be here and I knew that Mom wasn't too happy about that. Ronald also wasn't going to make it home and that was not what Mom wanted to hear at that time. She wanted her family home for the holidays, but with school and other things getting in the way, it just wasn't happening. By the time I got to Isaac's house, the car was nice and warmed up. I went in to help Isaac with his things, when Isaac's Dad gave me Isaac's Medical Insurance card to give to Dad, just incase something happened. I was going to make sure that nothing happened to MY Isaac. Gordon also gave me a note to give to Dad, so that Dad could contact them if they needed to. He also gave me some money to give to Dad for Isaac, just incase Isaac needed something. I put everything that I could get in the car and then went to go help MY Isaac. He was saying his goodbyes to his Mom and Dad and asked them to bring him a present. He had a cute smile on his face when he signed that. They once again had their Christmas last night, so that they would be together for that. After I packed the car, I helped Isaac to get in. He wanted out of the wind and so did I, it was still freezing and with that wind blowing, it felt worse. I couldn't believe it was so cold. I heard on the news the night before, that it was going to get even colder. I didn't think that it could, we were really cold now and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. The wind was coming out of the North even stronger then it was a little while ago. Isaac was just trying to keep warm. When we got to the school and parked the car, Isaac wouldn't get out. He didn't want to go out in the cold. I didn't either. I also looked around the parking lot. There weren't too many others here as well. I didn't even see that many school buses coming into the parking lot. And when one did drive in, not too many kids would get off the bus. That was it; I didn't get out of the car either. I just started the car and drove home. When we came down the driveway, Dad came out of the house. He must have thought that something was wrong. I got as close to the house as I could and then told Dad that we didn't want to stay at the school because it was so cold. He was glad that we were home and helped me with Isaac's things. I quickly helped Isaac into the house and sat him near the wood stove. He was very glad to get out of the wind. After that, I helped Dad unload the car and gave Dad everything that Isaac's Dad gave me to give him. Then I moved the car out of the way, so that Mom could park close when she got home from working at the market. Dad just got home himself, he and Grandpa when down to the gas station to get enough fuel to run the generator if the power went out. Dad and Grandpa where getting ready for the end of the world I think. He always says; better to be safe then sorry. I hope he's right. All day long the wind kept blowing and the temperature never got over 35 degrees, that was it. Isaac and I just snuggled on the sofa near the wood stove. Mom came home and said that the Highway Market was going to be closed tomorrow and she would be home until Monday. I thought this was great. I just wished that the rest of our family would be here. I hoped that Grandpa and Grandma were going to be warm enough. I know that Grandma doesn't like the cold either. Maybe I get it from her side of the family. When the sun started to set and after Isaac and I showered, we were then ready for the evening. Dad switched off the water pump. We had plenty of water stored, so we were okay for the morning. Dad also checked the generator and made sure that it was going to work okay, so we were ready for the worst. Dad also had the house very cozy and I know Isaac loved that. After dinner, Isaac and I just sat on the sofa near the wood stove. We could hear the wind blowing and I knew that it was getting even colder. Dad had the news on and was watching the weather forecast for the next few days. Tomorrow was December 21st, the first day of winter and it was coming in with a super cold bite. In the mountains they said that the temperature was going to get below zero, but here on the valley floor, we were going to get down to about 10 to 15 degrees. It felt like it already, but our house was very warm and Isaac and I were definitely not going outside. Earlier, Mom put the electric blanket on our bed. She didn't want us getting cold, but told us if the power goes out to come downstairs and sleep near the wood stove, Dad was going to keep it going, ALL NIGHT LONG! She really didn't need to tell us that twice. Isaac and I got ready and then we crawled into our nice warm bed. Isaac wanted me to cuddle him, which I was more then happy to do. I pulled the blanket up and then we were ready for our long winters nap. Isaac was a little tired and just fell asleep. I cuddled him as close as I could and fell asleep too. The next morning the power was still on, but it was very cold out. Isaac and I got dressed, fast and went downstairs. Dad was putting more wood on the fire and Mom was making breakfast. Dad told us that it was 14 degrees out and the wind was blowing about 30 to 35 miles per hour. I knew I was not going to like that. The sun was up and coming in the living room window. I couldn't believe it was so cold with the sun up, but it was. I didn't care that much, as long as the house was warm and I had MY Isaac to cuddle. After breakfast, Isaac and I just stepped outside for a minute. We went out to the back, saw the pool all iced over and then we were back in the house again. Grandpa and Grandma came over for awhile. Grandma and Isaac played on the piano for a little while as well. We did try to have some fun, even if the wind was trying to get us. All day long the wind just blew like crazy and the temperature never got over 26 degrees. When the sun started to go down, so did the temperature. As long as Isaac and I could cuddled, it could get as cold as it wanted. The wind blew for three days straight. It froze hard at night and just barely got above freezing during the day. Even though the wind slowed down, the temperature never rose higher then the forties. When dad finally turned the water pump back on, we didn't have one broken pipe. Dad heard that some of our neighbors were not so fortunate. The hardware and pluming supply stores had lots of people going to get pipe and things like that to fix what broke at their houses. Tuesday, December 25, Christmas day, Mom and Dad brought home a new VCR for all of us to use. Now we could rent movies and watch them without having to go the theater and we can even record shows off the television when we were not at home. Mom and Dad also got me some new clothes and books that they knew I would like. Mom also got Isaac a new fuzzy hat to keep his ears nice and warm. Mom also knows how much I hate the cold too, and got me one as well. Isaac really liked it and looked really cute when he had it on. Isaac also got me a new watch. It was very nice and I just kissed him when I saw it. He was all smiles and he knew that I was going to give him a special thank you later on, after we go to bed. I also got MY Isaac a special necklace to wear. I had a little heart shaped medallion put on a little gold chain and had it engraved too. I had the words, Eternals Friends, put on it. Isaac had a tear in his eye when he read it. He signed that he loved me more now then ever before. I knew I loved him, but with his love for me, I was happier then ever. On New Years Eve, Mom and Dad where going to go over to a friends house for a small party. They didn't want to leave us alone, but I made them go, so that Isaac and I could have the house to ourselves. They, at first put up a fuss about us not being able to care for ourselves, but I knew they were just joking. They wanted us to go with them, but Isaac and I wanted to be alone. They told us that they would be home around one or two in the morning. I told them to stay out all night long and have a goodtime. They just smiled and told us not to wreck the house. Both Isaac and I hugged them before they left. Grandpa and Grandma were going to go with them as well. I was glad that they were going to get out of the house for a little while too. Isaac wanted to cuddle downstairs, so I went upstairs and brought down pillows and lots of blankets to lie on the floor near the wood stove. We also made some hot cocoa to sip on, as we cuddled together. Isaac and I got naked and just snuggled by the fire and waited for midnight to come. We talked and signed until it was close. When midnight was near, we just kissed out the old year of 1990 and kissed in the new year of 1991. We didn't feel like having sex right then, we were very happy just the way we were. After midnight, I put more wood on the fire and cuddled with Isaac more. We just watched the flames until we both fell asleep. That is where we stayed all night long, with Isaac in my arms. We never even heard Mom and Dad come home after their party. They must have seen us and just went to bed. It was a long night, but it was a night with the boy I love very much. As the days slipped by faster than I wanted them too, I had to take MY Isaac home again. Isaac didn't want to go home, he wanted to stay at my house with me, but I had to drive him home again. At Isaac's house there were no broken water pipes either. His dad had the house warming up and his mom was busy cleaning and putting things away. Isaac told them all the things that he did while they were away (not the sex though) and they told him all that they did. I was betting that they didn't have as much fun as Isaac and I had had. January and February were also cold months too, but when March finally came, it just seemed that a lot more rain came with it. On Saturday, the 16th, it started raining and it didn't stop for eleven days. As soon as it would stop, I was thinking that we were going to get a little sun, but it would cloud up again and rain some more. On the 17th we had a pretty good lightning and thunder storm, with hail as well. Then on the 26th was the last day it rained, but the next morning, on the 27th, was cold again. We had a little frost on the ground, but it was clear. It looked like it was going to be a beautiful day. The wind was not blowing and there were just a tiny amount of clouds in the sky. It was a spring day and I loved it. After I did my morning ritual, I went to go get MY Isaac, the boy I love with all of my heart. Today Isaac was happy and wanted to get going so that we could have our time together after school. We have been taking our time getting home after school, because we would go and be with a few of our friends. Like Sandra and Paula. We have been spending more time with them and having a goodtime, just being friends. I know that we love them and I know that they love us too. It was very nice just having friends like them. As the school day was going, it got a little warmer, and at lunchtime, Isaac and I wanted to go for a nice walk after we had our lunch. We decided to stroll over by the baseball field. The school had been working on putting in a new sprinkler system, so the field was all dug-up. There was a huge mud puddle in the middle of the field and it was from what I could see about eight to ten inches deep. It was full of cold and very muddy water as well. Now the baseball field is sort of like down this natural hill and they built the bleachers into it. You need to walk down about thirty five or forty steps, to get to the field below. Isaac and I were just walking by, enjoying the warm day, chatting and having a nice time. Then all of a sudden there were five boys on us. Isaac and I didn't even see them, they came out of nowhere. These guys were from the baseball team, because I've seen some of them before. They had me down and my arms and legs were pinned, I couldn't move. Three were on me and the other two grabbed Isaac by his leg braces and his shoulders. They were laughing and carrying him down to the muddy baseball field. I was on my back, trying to get these guys off of me, when the boy that was holding my legs turned to look where the other two were at. At that time, he eased off my left leg and I quickly raised it and swung my foot right into his face. This was not what he was expecting and he fell off of me and onto his butt. This made the boy who was holding my left arm, let go in a panic. I didn't care about him, because he was no more of a threat to me, but the boy on my right was. Now my left arm was free and my fist quickly found that boys nose that was holding my right side. He also fell off of me, now holding his very bloody nose, crying in pain. I was on my feet in a blink of an eye. The boy that was holding my left side, had a look on his face that he was sorry, but he wasn't my concern right now, Isaac was. There were two others that I had to contend with. By this time, they were almost to the mud puddle. I hurried as fast as I could, to get to them, before they did harm to Isaac. I knew if Isaac could scream, he would be doing it now. I was halfway to them, when they started to swing Isaac back and forth. Then these CREEPS threw Isaac through the air and he landed face down, right in the middle of the mud puddle. When they did that, they started laughing their heads off and ran like the little cowards they were. I quickly jumped into the mud puddle, to get MY Isaac out of the cold and muddy water. Isaac was crying and as soon as I started to help him out of the puddle, his leg was not right. I knew that those boys broke Isaac's leg. He was crying and was very scared. Then I saw that they didn't break his leg, it was his leg brace that they broke. I was really glad that he was not seriously harmed, but I needed to get him to where I could check him over. By this time, there were more kids coming down to help me and Isaac. Some said that they saw what happened, but were to far away to help. I thanked them for their help, but I needed to get Isaac out of this area. One of the boys that came to help, told me to take Isaac to the gym. It was close to the field and it was warm inside, so he helped me to carry my shaking Isaac to the gym. When we got to the gym, one of the coaches was there and asked what happened. Another boy told him and he told another boy to go get the Principle of the school. The Coach also told us to get out of the wet and muddy clothes we were in. I thought this was a great idea and asked the boy who helped me with Isaac before to help me to get his clothes off. The coach told us to strip down and get into the showers to get Isaac warmed up, so we did. Isaac was glad to get out of the wet clothes that he was in and so was I. The other boy striped as well. When we got all of Isaac's clothes off we got into the shower with him so we could hold him up. The warm water was nice and we cleaned up. By now the Principle was here and talking to the Coach and some of the others kids that saw what happened. Some other boys come in to help me with Isaac when we were ready to get out of the shower. They brought us towels and were just trying to help me to dry off Isaac. The Principle came over to us and asked us what happened as well. I told him everything that happened. He was wondering why there were two boys in the nurse's office, one with a black eye and another with a bloody nose. I told him that I was the one who did that to them. Right now he didn't seem to care about that, but wanted to know if we were hurt. I told him that we were okay, although Isaac's leg braces were broken. Isaac was very upset and angry, so was I. I wanted to know why they did this to us. The Principle wanted us to go to his office and talk as soon as we were ready, but Isaac and I didn't have any dry clothes to wear. Right now we just had the towels that were given to us. One boy brought Isaac his gym clothes and I saw a boy that was in my gym class, so I asked him to bring me my gym clothes. I gave him David's and my combination to our locker and he went to get them for me. While I was waiting to get my clothes, I helped Isaac to put on the gym clothes that were loaned to him. They were a little big for him, but they would do for now. When I got my clothes, I put them on too. I asked the Principle to help me with Isaac because during all of this, we lost his crutches somewhere. He just picked up Isaac and held him close, so that he would feel safe. He carried Isaac all the way to his office and sat him down in a chair. Then he told the other two boys that were in the nurses office to wait for him later, he was going to deal with them. Isaac was still very upset, so I held him while the Principle was talking to the other two. He was feeling a little better and I knew he wanted to go home, so did I. When the Principle came back, I told him that I wanted to call my Mom and Dad; he said that was a good idea, so I called them. I also called Isaac's parents and they said that they would be right there. The Principle was telling us that he was going to find the other three boys that were in on this and deal with them as well. I just held Isaac while he was talking in a calm voice. I think he knew how upset Isaac was and was trying to calm him down. About twenty minutes later both of our parents were here and wanted to know if we were okay and what had happened. The Principle told them all of what he knew and that we were both okay. Isaac's Dad wanted to call the police and get those other boys arrested for what they did. He couldn't believe that someone would do that to a kid like Isaac. Isaac couldn't even fight them off, because they were so much stronger than him. Isaac's Dad was very mad. I was holding Isaac as close as I could while they were talking about this. Isaac's Dad was looking at me holding Isaac and Isaac hugging me. Then he wanted to know what I was doing to his son. I told him that I was just trying to comfort Isaac, but by the way Isaac was hugging me, he didn't believe me. He wanted to know if I was coming into Isaac and he wanted to know right now. Dad told him to calm down and that I was just trying to help him. Isaac's Dad was not in the mood to hear what Dad was telling him and told Dad to back off and asked Isaac if he was gay. Isaac was really scared now, but he just nodded his head, yes and then hugged into me more to feel safe. Gordon was really mad now and started to get belligerent. I was not going to let him do anything to Isaac, so I got between him and Isaac. Ellen was trying to calm things down and so was the Principle. He was telling Gordon that was not important right now. Gordon was not listening to what he was saying and yelling at Isaac and asking him if I was his lover. Dad was also standing between me and Gordon. He was not going to let him harm me or Isaac. Dad told him that Isaac is a very special kid and that he should love him more than anything right now. Gordon was getting even madder and told Isaac that he was not going to have a gay son living in his house. Ellen was telling him that Isaac was still their son and they were still going to welcome us in their home with them. This really got him mad, now he was yelling at Ellen and the Principle was trying to calm things down. Isaac was crying like crazy, so I just held him even more. Gordon saw this and told my Mom and Dad if they like gays, then he can live with us, because he was not going to have a homosexual living in HIS house. I couldn't believe this was happening. First we were attack by some boys, now Isaac's Dad is having a major fit because Isaac was gay. I needed to get Isaac out of here and told Dad that I was going to take him home. Isaac didn't need this; he was upset enough and didn't need to listen to his father ranting and raving. Dad told me that was a good idea and made sure that Gordon wasn't going to touch me or Isaac in anyway. Mom came with me and she helped me with Isaac. All this time Gordon was telling Isaac that he was no longer welcome in his house. Ellen was crying by now and yelling at Gordon to stop, but he wasn't listening to her either. He was being a big jerk. The Principle told us that he was going to try and calm things down as we made our way out of his office. I just nodded my head, like to thank him and made our way out. By this time, the Vise Principle was there and a few school counselors as well. Gordon was just flipping out and they were just trying to calm things down. Mom helped me with Isaac and then she drove our car home. I held my very upset Isaac as she did. He just couldn't stop crying and shaking. I was pretty upset too and Mom was telling me that everything was going to be okay. I told her that I loved her very much and thanked her for all of the help and love that she has given to us. She just smiled as she drove us home. When we got home, she helped me to get Isaac into the house and up the stairs. Isaac had some clothes here from when he was here before and we helped him to change out of the gym clothes and into his clothes. He was still pretty upset, so we went back downstairs and sat on the sofa together. He just hugged me as tight as he could and cried. I cried too as he slowly drifted off to sleep. He was so upset that it just made him very tired. I just let him cuddle me as he slept. Dad came home about an hour later, with Isaac's crutches. Someone found them on the baseball field, but Isaac's leg braces are going to have to be repaired. Dad was also not happy with the way that Gordon found out that we were gay. He told us that the school security had to tell him to leave the school property or they were going to call the police and have him removed. He left, but he was not happy. The Principle also told my Dad that he was going to get the police in on this. This was assault and the Principle was not going to let those boys get away with it. While Dad was telling us this, Isaac woke up and just kept hugging me. I was going to let him hold me for as long as he wanted. He was feeling a little better now, so Mom went into the kitchen and made us both some hot cocoa. I love her so much. Dad continued to tell us, when we were in the Principles office, that it was not likely that anyone heard about us being gay. So we were probably going to be okay at school. The school staff was told NOT to talk about what they might have heard. The Principle was going to see to it that we were going to be save when we came back to school. I was really glad about this and so was Isaac, but I really don't think that most of the kids would care, whether or not were gay. Isaac and I made lots of friends over the past year and true friends will still like you no matter what you were like or who you liked. Around dinner time, Ellen came over to talk with us. She was still very upset about what happened too, but she still loved Isaac. She told us that she knew that we were gay, but she really didn't care. She never saw her baby boy so happy before he met me. She told us that she would love the two of us until the end of time. Isaac and I just had to hug her. She was crying by this time as she continued to tell us about how Gordon felt. She told us that he never wants to see me again and told her to tell his former son that he can live with his gay lover. Isaac was crying again, when he found out that his Dad didn't love him anymore. Dad told Isaac, with a hug, that he and Mom still love him VERY much, he just smiled a little. Ellen asked Mom and Dad if Isaac could stay with us for the time being. Dad told her yes, before she even finished asking them. Mom told her that we would take very good care of Isaac until further notice. She told them that she wasn't sure how long it was going to be. Dad told her that Isaac was more than welcome here as long as they both wanted to stay. They Dad asked Ellen if she needed a place to stay, and if so, she was more then welcome to stay here with us. She told them that she was okay, but was going to try and talk to Gordon more about Isaac and me. She also told us that he really hates gays and it maybe a long time before he'll accept Isaac for who he is. I was thinking that he could get some professional help; it might be what he needs. Ellen also brought over more of Isaac's things. More clothes and a few things he would need in the bathroom. She knew about his leg braces, so she brought his wheelchair over too. If he was going to go back to school, he would need it until his braces were fixed. We would work on that as soon as we could; I knew he wouldn't like the wheelchair. We got everything out of the truck that she drove over and brought it into the house. Isaac was not happy about how things worked out and I wasn't either. I really wish I knew why some people hate people that are gay. I just guess it's the way they were taught. It's too bad too. Isaac is the most loving person that God put on this Earth. It's really too bad that his father can't see that. The next morning, Isaac and I didn't go to school. Isaac was not in the mood to see the school today, so I asked Mom and Dad if we could just stay home for now. They said that we can take all the time we needed to get ourselves together. I told them that we might go back on Monday. Then I hugged the two of them for over five minutes. They just let me too. Around nine thirty, there was a knock on our front door. Dad went to get it, because Mom was at work at the Highway Market. When Dad opened the door, it was the City Police. They wanted to talk to Isaac and me. Dad showed them in and they asked us what happened. We told them everything that we could remember. They were comparing what the school told them and from the kids who saw what happened. I asked them if I was in trouble for me hurting the other two boys. They told me no, but the boy I punched in the nose, I broke his nose. He was going to have to have surgery to fix it. I was pretty glad that I didn't hurt him to much. The officer told me that four of the boys were arrested and booked into Juvenile Hall. The boy that was holding my left arm was not arrested, because he backed off. I thought this was okay and was hoping he learned something from all of this. The officer also told me that there was this one kid who talked all of them into doing this to us. I wanted to know why, but they didn't really know why he did it. They thought it would be a lot of fun at the time, so then they just did it. The officer just wanted to tell us that there probably won't be any court proceedings that we would need to go too, but Dad wanted to know if they where going to pay for the damage that they did. They told us that all five would have to pay for the broken leg braces. Dad was glad that they were not getting off so easily. The school called a little later on that morning and asked if I was okay, because I was not there today. Dad told them that we were going to be back on Monday and that we were just relaxing from what happened. Dad then asked if he could talk the Principle. When he got on the phone with him, he told him that Isaac would be living with us for awhile and that this would be his address. Dad talked to the Principle for awhile then came back to talk to us. He told us that the boy, who started the whole thing, was expelled permanently from school. The others were suspended for two weeks. At least the other four will graduate from school. The other boy will have to try to get into a different school, if he wants to graduate at all. All of them have been kicked off of the baseball team as well. It was too bad too; we actually had a decent team this year. Over the next few days, Isaac and I just hung around the house with Mom and Dad. Grandpa and Grandma also came over. Grandma brought over a pumpkin pie for us and some of her super great oatmeal raisin cookies. I love her as much as I love Mom and Dad. I hugged her for a long time as well, so did Isaac. Karen also came over with Andy. Mom called her and told her what happened. Ronald called me on Saturday; he wanted to talk to his little brother and to tell me how proud he was that I didn't hurt those boys to much. He told me that I was doing very well with my Karate lessons when he was here. I told him that I haven't been doing it much since I met Isaac, but I have been doing my exercises. He was still happy that I didn't hurt them more. He told me that I really could have if I wanted too. I just told Ronald that I wanted them off of me so that I could help MY Isaac. Ronald was still proud of me. I told him that I loved him and to hurry home after school lets out. He was looking forward to it as much as I. On Monday morning, I asked Dad if I could use Ronald's truck, because the car wouldn't hold Isaac's wheelchair very well. He said that would be fine and said to be careful. He helped me with Isaac, because his braces wouldn't be done until Tuesday. He didn't want to use the wheelchair, but he knew he would need it. I made sure that he was ready for school and he seemed to be okay, so we decided to go today. When we got to school, I got Isaac's wheelchair out of the back and then helped him out of the truck. Sandra and Paula were just arriving at the school and they were pretty concerned about what happened. I asked them if anyone was talking about us being gay. They said that they haven't heard anyone talking about that. I also asked them if they heard what had happened with Isaac and his father. Again, they also said that they hadn't heard anything about that and asked us about it. Now, because they are our very good friends, I told them about what happened in the Principle office. They couldn't believe that his father would be like that. Then they gave Isaac a hug. Isaac and I just love these girls. Isaac didn't want to go to the library for first period today; he wanted to stay with me. I wasn't sure if he would be allowed to or not, but I was going to find out. I wheeled Isaac to the gym and asked Coach Simon when I saw him. He told me that the school may not allow him to be here, but told me that I could go to the library with him today. I thanked him and then wheeled Isaac to the library. On our way there, the Principle saw us and asked us how we were. I told him that we were fine and thanked him for all the help that he gave us. He told us that he was sorry for what happened too and said that he was going to do more to keep that sort of thing from ever happening again. Isaac signed thank you and I told him what he signed. He smiled and we continued on our way. At the end of the day, I was wheeling Isaac out to the parking lot. I had Isaac in the truck and his wheelchair in the back when I heard a voice say, "Excuse me, Arren." I turned and saw that it was the boy who had help to hold me down. I was getting ready for a fight, when I saw that he just wanted to talk. "What do you want?" I said, without taking my eyes off of him and keeping me between him and Isaac. "I just wanted to tell you and your friend, how sorry I am for what I did," he said. When I looked at him a little better, he was the boy who held my left arm. I let myself easy up a little, but not to much. "I really didn't want to do what I did, but Jack told me if I didn't help, he would kick my butt. I'm truly sorry for letting him do that to you and your friend." "Why didn't you try to stop him?" I said with a little anger in my voice. "He could've really hurt Isaac." "He is bigger and stronger then me," he said. "That's a good excuse," I said with anger still in my voice. "You don't know him, Jack has a bad temper and get mad really fast," he said. "So I just did it." "Maybe you better find a better friend," I said closing the door to Isaac's side of the truck. "Someone like that will get you in a lot of trouble." "I know," he said. "This is why I wanted to apologize to you and your friend." I could see that he was really sorry, so I just told him that we would live. He smiled a little; I think it was a while since he smiled. He's not that bad looking either, so I held out my hand for him to shake, he did. "By the way, my name is Kin Murray." "It's nice to meet you Kin," I said. "I'm Arren Porter and this is Isaac Eagleton." "Can I say I'm sorry to your friend, Isaac too?" Kin asked. "Let me ask him first," I said. "He was very upset about what happened." "Okay, but if he says no, just tell him I'm really sorry about what happened," Kin said. I nodded my head and went to talk to Isaac. He heard everything that we said and signed to me that he would like to let him say that he was sorry. I told Kin what Isaac signed and he seemed to be happy with being able to apologize for what happened. He and Isaac seemed to get along okay, but I wasn't going to let anything happen again. I was very close and Kin knew that I would defend Isaac if I had too. I didn't like to fight, but I would if it came to it. After Kin left, I asked Isaac if he was okay with Kin. He said that he was, but now he wanted to go home. I knew that Isaac was still very upset with what happen here at school, but what happened with his father was really eating him up inside. All I could do was just be there for him. I knew that this was going to take a very long time for him to get over. When we got home, Isaac's mother was here and wanted to see Isaac. Dad carried Isaac into the house and sat him on the sofa, I sat with him. She told all of us that her and Gordon where going to split up for awhile. He was really upset about finding out about us and just can't handle it. She asked Isaac if he wanted to go with her to her sisters, or if he wanted to, he could stay here with us. Isaac told her that he loves me very much and he wanted to stay here. I just gave him a little hug for support. I would go by any decision that he made, but I was very glad that he wanted to stay with us. Now because we were going to start caring for Isaac on a fulltime bases, Ellen was going to send Mom and Dad money for his care. Dad told her not to worry about that, but she said that she had too. She wasn't sure if Mom and Dad would cash the check that she would write, so she didn't give them one. She opened her purse and gave Dad an envelope; Dad knew right away that it was cash. He opened it and his eyes just about popped out of his head. In it was five thousand dollars. Dad told her that this was a little much and asked her to take some of it back, but she told them that it just might be awhile and that Isaac would need the money. Dad didn't want to argue with her, so he just gave the money to Mom. Mom would put the money in the bank later, so that Isaac could get the things he would need. Ellen also brought over more of Isaac's things. More clothes, bedding, pictures and little toys that he had when he was younger. I think she was thinking this would help make him happier. She also gave Dad Isaac's Medical Card, just in case something happened. She told Mom and Dad that she was going to pay for all the insurance that he had. Isaac was more covered they our whole family put together. During all of this, Isaac just hugged me. I knew he was sad and that made me sad too. I hated to see the boy that I love so unhappy. Mom and Dad talked Ellen into staying for dinner. She was just going to leave from here and head down to Los Angeles. It was also over five hundred fifty miles away too, so they talked her into staying the night with us. Isaac was happy that she accepted. They stayed up until almost eleven o'clock that night talking about what was going on. Isaac just stayed with his mother that night. But in the morning, very early, she was up and out the door. Isaac was up too and was crying when I came downstairs. He was very sad that his Mother was now gone. I asked him again if he wanted to go with her, he told me that he wanted her to stay with us. He also told me that he can't leave me either. I hugged him while he just sobbed. Two days later, Isaac's Mom called and told us that she made it okay and she was fine. She said that she would call us every week just to see how Isaac is doing. Isaac wanted Dad to tell her that he was writing her a letter right now and he needed the address of his Aunts condominium. Dad got it for him and this seemed to make him happier. Isaac's Mom said that she would also send a check for him once a month and pleaded with Dad to put it in the bank for Isaac. Dad once again told her that we were okay, but she really wanted us to have the money. Dad finally relented and said that they would cash the checks. The following Monday, a delivery truck came to our house; it was from Isaac's Dad. He packed up everything that he thought that Isaac had and just sent it to us. His bedroom furniture that Isaac had at their house and lots of other stuff as well. In a box he found a letter from his Dad. When he opened it, he was surprised that it wasn't hateful. His Dad explained that he was going through a very bad time right now and just couldn't handle him being gay. He told him in the letter that he thought it was best that he stay with his mother, or with us. He would transfer money into an account for him later. The letter wasn't very warm, but it did make him feel a little better. Maybe his father didn't hate him or me after all. We'll just have to wait and see. I helped Dad to put as much of Isaac's things away as we could. His Dad also sent his dresser, so we were able to put more stuff in my room for him. Mom asked Isaac if he wanted Karen's old room, he said that he wanted to just stay with me, but we stored some of his stuff in it. He was okay with the way it was for now. I'm sure that we'll rearrange things a few times before we get it right. I really wanted Isaac to feel as much at home here as possible. It took him awhile, but I did see him smile again. Once I saw him smile, I knew he was feeling better. I always felt good when I saw him smile. To make Isaac feel as comfortable as possible, Mom made Isaac a special dinner. Grandpa and Grandma came over too. Grandma brought Isaac some of her fudge that she likes and was hoping that Isaac liked it too. He really liked it, and gave Grandma a big hug for trying to make him feel better. I was glad to see him smile more. It just seemed so different now, with all that has happened. I really couldn't believe how fast it happened too. I was hoping that things would get back to normal soon, but I knew that was going to take awhile for that to happen. Maybe one day his Dad will come by and talk to us, but I really don't see that happening anytime too soon. I do know this though. Isaac is starting to get his smile back and with his smile, I know there was still hope that he'll be happy again. I just wished that he was happy now. Mom put the money in the bank, so we could get what Isaac may need. Dad said that he really doesn't eat much and he is a joy to have here. I know that Mom and Dad love Isaac like he was their own son. I know I love him with all of my heart and I know he loves me. We are sure that things will get better as time goes by. I have noticed that he is starting to make himself feel more at home a little more now. As far as I'm concerned, this is his home. Mom and Dad will do what ever they can to make him feel safe. I just hope he can stay here with us forever, but I know one day that will all end. I'll worry about that when the time comes, but for now, he's here with me. -------------------- This is the conclusion of Chapter 22 - A Big Change in Our Lives
