Chapter 12: We were suddenly interrupted so I had to quickly pull my hand from his pants. That made him gasp again, mostly in disappointment, but also from the feelings I accidently inflicted on him, as my hand quickly brushed along the length of his erection as I withdrew it from his pants. Four waiters each wearing black dress pants, white collared shirt, and a black sleeveless vest. Complete with a black bow tie. They had opened the door and entered the room. I thanked god they had knocked or we would have been rather embarrassed. As it was I think one of the waiters knew, he had that sort of look on his face, but he never said anything. I think my face looked a bit flustered. I knew Caleb's face had a bit of a disappointed look to it, but thankfully his shorts were baggy enough to hide his erection. Each waiter was carrying two massive plates, each covered with a stainless steel bowl to keep the food hot. They came in and put the food down wherever they could find space, and then one of the waiters handed us a card. They all told us to enjoy, before they all turned around and headed away. It turned out that Caleb's dad needn't have bothered leaving his son money for tea, as J C had looked after us again. He had ordered a five star meal from a top local restaurant. They had gratefully delivered it to us, when he had said who it was for. Reading the card we had been given it told us what was in the meal, and also that we had a complimentary meal on the manager, to be used as soon as I am discharged from hospital. The manager really wanted to meet us in person so he had decided to give us a free meal. The offer also extended to mum and dad. Caleb of course was a given. The meal was massive as J C hadn't scrimped on anything. The manager of the restaurant had also chucked in some free stuff after having hearing our story on TV last night. As it was getting on towards 7:00 we turned on the TV and turned it to the right channel for J C live. We then enjoyed our exquisite meal as we watched the end of the news. ************ We tried our best to eat the meal, but only managed to get through half of it, at most. We had started off with a seafood platter. The platter consisted of a variety of fresh seafood, such as mussels, prawns, shrimp, paua, scallops, Bluff oysters, and crab. It had a variety of different sauces to accompany it. Next we attacked the crayfish. We had half a cray each, but there was still another two full crayfish sitting on the plate. We finished ourselves off with steak and chips, but again the plate was too big and there was a lot left over. We managed somehow though, to fit in a bit of dessert. We are kids after all, and somehow kids can always have enough room in their stomachs for dessert, and we were no exception. We had a classic kiwi dessert which was pavlova. It is essentially a meringue cake with a light and fluffy meringue centre, and crunchy crust. It was topped with whipped fresh cream and strawberries. A flake chocolate bar had also been broken up and sprinkled over the top. There was also some chocolate, strawberry and vanilla ice-cream to go with it. As well as a rich steamed chocolate pudding. By the time we had eaten as much of the delicious dessert as we could, we were completely bloated. Our stomachs felt like they had swollen up to twice their normal size, and we were struggling to move. The food had been the best I have had in a long time. It was as good as Caleb's dad's cooking, but I suppose that was to be expected coming from a five star restaurant. We were laying there nursing our bulging stomachs as J C live came on, and we watched the failed medal ceremony for Caleb all over again. Caleb couldn't be bothered watching himself. After a while he got out of bed, and staggered out the door heading towards the nurse's station. I was left there wondering as to what he was up to this time. A couple of minutes later Caleb was getting wheeled back into our room in a wheelchair, which was getting pushed by Dr Walker. I instantly thought that he must have collapsed again. That was until he got out of the chair and left the room again. This time he was only gone a couple of seconds before he re-emerged with a trolley. I started to understand what he was doing, but still couldn't understand the wheelchair. He quickly loaded as many of the dishes onto the trolley as he could fit onto it. He then picked up the remaining dish and sat back on the chair. At this stage I could tell his energy was almost gone, and now realised the need for the wheelchair. Dr Walker pushed the chair towards the trolley. With the trolley now within Caleb's reach, he grabbed a hold of it, while still sitting in the wheelchair. Then he guided the trolley where it needed to go, as Dr Walker pushed him in his chair. "So where do you want to take this food." Dr Walker asked Caleb once they had left the room again. "I'm not sure. I want to give it to someone. But I want it to be someone who deserves it, and will appreciate it." Caleb replied. The doctor thought that he was starting to understand Caleb, but the boy had a way of surprising him still. Caleb still never ceases to amaze him, sometimes. "I think I know just the boy," Dr Walker answered. He then proceeded to tell Caleb about the patient that he had in mind. The patient was a 10 year old boy called Alex. He is only a few days away from turning 11. He was terminally ill. He was diagnosed with testicular cancer, but the disease hadn't been picked up till far too late. The boy was too embarrassed to tell his parents about his problems down there. Eventually the pain became too much and he finally told his parents, who brought him straight to hospital, but the cancer had spread too much and had now got into the boys lungs. It was now only a matter of time before he succumbed to it. Caleb was crying now as the story really upset him. He also realised that the same thing could have easily happened to him, before he had met me. I had taught him that his body was nothing to be embarrassed about. He agreed with Dr Walker that this kid deserved it. He started wiping the tears from his eyes as he couldn't let the boy see him this way. The doctor then warned him, that the boy was really friendly and good natured, but he didn't want Caleb to become too close to him. It would only end in heartbreak. Caleb told him no, if the boy wanted or needed a friend he would be there for him. Even if the worst did happen he would still be there for him if he was needed. Dr Walker just shook his head, and continued pushing Caleb who was in turn guiding the trolley towards the boy's room. They got to the door of the room, and Caleb pushed the trolley far enough away from him so that he could get out of the wheelchair. Once he had extracted himself he went over to the closed door and knocked on it. He then stood there waiting to see if anyone would open it for him. He heard someone grab a hold of the handle on the other side of the door. He then saw the handle being turned and then the door slowly opened, creaking through the old unoiled hinges. A man stood at the door, and Caleb could see him do a double take. He then turned and looked at the TV, and then faced Caleb again. He was confirming what he thought. He then fully opened the door without saying anything till everyone in the room could see who had come to visit. There were only three people in the room, a man and a woman. Who were presumably the boys mum and dad. A very sick little boy was lying in the bed. The boy's face seemed to brighten up, and a big smile came across his face as he saw who was at the door. "Hey! You're the boy on TV aren't you? Caleb I think." The boy said with excitement. His voice was very hoarse and he ended up coughing an awful sounding cough after having spoken. He then tried to drink some water to ease the soreness of his throat. It worked and his coughing stopped. "Yes you are right. I'm Caleb from TV, and I have come with a special gift." Caleb said smiling at the boy. Caleb's smile grew longer with the sick boy's reaction. Alex's face just beamed with happiness. He really couldn't believe a celebrity like Caleb would come and see him. Let alone bring him a gift. He was in a state of shock and awe. "You bought me a gift but why?" Alex asked. He was confused as to why Caleb would do such a thing. He then remembered what he had seen of Caleb on TV, and he was slowly starting to understand. Well so he thought. "Simple really. Dan and I received a gift that was far too big for us. Dan decided we should share it with someone special, and since Dan still can't walk very far it was up to me to find the right person. I asked Dr Walker, and he said that you deserved it most." Caleb said sincerely. He did not want to take the credit for such a generous act of kindness, so gave me the accolades. He then left the room briefly and wheeled the trolley in. He then went back out for the dish he had left on the wheelchair and took that in to for them too. Alex and his parent's eyes all bulged out of their heads, as they saw the meal that was bought in for them. Even with what we had eaten, there was still more than enough there to feed Alex and his parents tonight, and most of tomorrow too. "Thank you so much that looks awesome. I haven't eaten anything but hospital food now for three months now. But I don't deserve this as I haven't done anything." Alex replied. He was very thankful for the generous gift, but worried that it may have gone to the wrong person. "No you deserve it. You have been through far more than any boy our age should. I am truly sorry about what has happened to you, and I wish there was something I could do. I figured the least I could do was make sure you enjoyed a meal that most people could only dream of." Caleb said. He was starting to cry again. He was remembering what the poor boy had. He went over and gave the boy a big hug. "Enjoy it, and I will come and see you tomorrow. I will bring Dan too," Caleb whispered in the boy's ear. He then hugged him a bit tighter before releasing him and staggering towards the door. "Thank you again. I look forward to the company. Because of what has happened I don't have any friends anymore." Alex said starting to cry himself. It had been the first time in ages that someone other, than his family, has shown him any affection. Once he fell sick all his friends got scared of him. They were thinking that they could catch what he had. Let's face it what boy wants that. Caleb seeing the boy start to cry, was about to head back over to give him another hug. But just as he took his first step his legs gave out again, and Alex's dad had to catch him. He then lifted Caleb back to his feet and guided him out the door to his waiting wheelchair. "Thank you for your gift. I know you mean well, but I don't think you should get too close to our son. I couldn't' bear it if something were to happen to you too. All because you had got attached to Alex. I know how emotional you get as I saw your interview on TV last night. You have to understand that Alex doesn't have long, and I couldn't bear to think about what would happen if his death caused yours too." Alex's dad said sincerely. He did mean it. It has been hard enough on him and his wife with what had happened, and he really didn't want to see anyone else hurt as a result. "I understand that you are trying to protect me. But I feel that your son should at least go out in dignity, and more importantly with friends. I would be more distraught to find out some boy had gone through hell, and died without a friend in the world. I will not stop visiting him because of those reasons. I am glad to have met him because I can at least try to make things right for your son." Caleb stated pretty bluntly. He had been in a similar position where he thought he had no friends. As a result he couldn't bear to see someone else go through it. "I understand. Thank you for trying to help, just be careful." Alex's dad said. Before turning and heading back to the room to enjoy some high class food. He had never food of this quality before because he was only a working class man. He didn't earn enough money to go somewhere that served that type of food, even for a special occasion. Caleb was wheeled back into our room, and then helped back into our bed by Dr Walker. I knew from the fact that he had to get helped into bed that Caleb had used up all his strength again and probably collapsed. What has amazed me is so far every time Caleb has collapsed he has been caught by someone. Well aside from a couple of times, but thankfully they ended up alright. I was wondering what would happen if no one got there on time and he had a bad accident. That thought scared the shit out of me. I decided I better have my conversation with him first, before he told me what he had just done. So I started pretty much telling him off. Surprisingly he listened and agreed with me. Caleb said it was hard because he doesn't like to sit around, and that's why he keeps putting himself in those situations. He did promise that he would try to take it easy. It was his turn, and yet again he surprised me. I knew he would have given the food to someone. But I assumed it would have been the doctors and nurses, which had helped him and me. He told me about Alex, the boy he had given the food too. I felt just as sorry for the poor little fellow as what Caleb had. Yet again I really couldn't believe friends could do that to someone. I agreed with Caleb that we should become his friends, because everyone needs one, especially those who are on their death bed. Caleb was starting to get sleepy, but I wanted to finish what I had started before we were interrupted. I struggled to try to get control of what little strength I had and started to strip Caleb. I started with his shirt, and then moved to his shoes and socks. Finally I unbuttoned and then unzipped his pants and slid them down his smooth hairless legs. Then I pulled them off and threw them on the pile of his clothes, which were on the floor. I then started to lick up and down the length of his pecker. I kept on licking wondering why he was taking so long to react. I glanced up and was immediately disappoint as I saw Caleb was in a deep sleep. I suppose he has had a couple of big days, so I forgave him. I crawled back up the bed and snuggled into him. I was still getting that warm comforting feeling I always get from him, and slowly I slipped into my own deep slumber. Caleb woke me up whimpering during the night. The strange thing was he hadn't woken up this time. I just hugged him tighter, and his whimpering stopped. I was starting to think that he was slowly getting over his nightmares, just as long as nothing restarts it all over again. I woke up to the first rays of sun starting to creep in the window. I looked over at my sexy little lover to find that he was still asleep. But he was in those early stages of returning to the real world. I crawled down the bed till his pecker was in my face. I stuck out my tongue and licked the length of his tiny one inch boyhood. This time though he started to respond, and after a couple more licks I had him standing at attention like a soldier at boot camp. Now I had him how I wanted him. I sucked him up into my waiting mouth. I heard a small moan escape from Caleb's mouth. I slowly slid my mouth down his prick till my nose was buried in his pubic mound, then I slowly pulled my mouth back off his hard three inch cock, until I had his foreskin held tentatively in my mouth. I then slid back down on his meat taking his foreskin along with me. I slowly increased my tempo as I face fucked my beautiful lover. I savoured his scent every time I got a waft of it fill my nostrils. I could tell he had woken up as he was starting to pound his cock into my mouth in the same rhythm as what I was going. He was moaning in pleasure, and the sweat was dripping off of him. The streams of sunlight filtering in the window were shining off his sweat, making him glisten in pleasure. He was getting close too, as I could feel that he was starting to tense up. His balls were also starting to contract, so I increase the tempo even more. Suddenly Caleb freaked out. Mr Black had opened the door and entered the room before either of us had noticed. It had been a lot later in the morning than I had realised, and Mr Black had just turned up to take Caleb to school. "Oh shit. I'm sorry I should have knocked." Mr Black stuttered. It was not the scene that he was expecting to get greeted to. Usually this would have been a really good dream for him. He really respected the boy's and was genuinely embarrassed at having interrupted them, during such an intimate moment. I would have continued on regardless of Mr Black. I had really wanted to get Caleb off, but that wasn't going to happen now as I had felt Caleb's prick shrink back to its soft one inch length in my mouth. It didn't matter to Caleb how close he was to getting off, the shock of getting caught had caused his dick to shrink. He was disappointed in himself. Not because he hadn't experienced those incredible feelings, but because he had disappointed me knowing how much his I had wanted this. He started to cry as a result of his shame. "I'm sorry Dan. I couldn't help it," he spluttered to me as quietly as he could. Tears were streaming down his cheeks as a result of his disappointment. "It's alright Caleb. It wasn't your fault, and anyway we can do it again later. Now go get ready for school, and take it easy today." I whispered to him. I knew what he was feeling, and again I was a bit disappointed that he was thinking more about me than himself. I was starting to get used to the way he does that, and for a while I had managed to give him some pleasure. I wiped the tears from his eyes now that he had stopped crying again. His eyes were still red though as a result of being so upset. Caleb gave me a hug and a kiss, before slipping out of bed. He went over to his bag to find some shorts. He grabbed some blue and black knee length surf shorts and slipped them on. He made sure that he buttoned them up properly. Then he grabbed a green printed t shirt, some black briefs, and some socks from his bag. He threw the briefs and socks into his school bag, while he removed the last two days' worth of underwear from it. Then he slung his bag over his shoulders, picked up his shoes and followed Mr Black out of my room. Then they headed towards Mr Black's car. Caleb was still shirtless. I figured that he would probably put his shirt on in the car. Not a word was spoken between the boy and the man on the way from the hospital to the mansion. Once at the mansion Mr Black led the still shirtless boy inside and upstairs to his bathroom. Caleb wasn't embarrassed at having been caught he was still feeling guilty about having let me down. He wasn't sure as to whether it was something he wanted to discuss with the man, so he just moped along following him, till they got to the bathroom. The bathroom was big and flash. It had real granite stone walls that had been polished and reflected the light around the room making it appear a lot brighter than you would imagine. It had an open shower as the whole room was designed as a wet room. The drain was in the middle of the solid Rimu floor which had a waterproof seal over it, to protecting the timber. The shower had jets coming from every which direction. It was almost like a stand up spa bath. Mr Black started up the shower and adjusted the temperature and the water pressure. The shower had an adjustable water pressure setting in it, so you could choose the right pressure for you needs. It also had a feature that would make it pulsate, almost like a massage. Mr Black also played around with. Mr Black sensed the boy was too wound up about something, so had set the shower to imitate a relaxing massage. Once happy he had everything set right he told Caleb to get in. Caleb had hung his bag on a hook that was just inside the door. There was a wooden bench underneath the hook, to which he dropped his shirt on. Once he had slipped his shorts down his smooth hairless legs and off, he put them on the bench too. Now naked, he mopes over to the shower and stood under the pulsating torrent of water. Caleb just stood there enjoying the warm relaxing water wash over his naked torso. He could feel his worries start to wash away, and follow the water down the drain to the depths below. He was just enjoying the flowing water and wasn't thinking about cleaning himself. Mr Black had expected this, and while he was away getting a towel for the boy, he also stripped off his suit and thrown on a pair of blue swim trunks. Once he was ready he headed back to the bathroom to bathe Caleb. Mr Black was very thorough, but also very professional as he cleaned Caleb. As much as he would have loved to have cleaned all of him, he steered clear of Caleb's privates. He didn't want to do anything that could potentially jeopardise their friendship, he respected Caleb far too much and would be absolutely gutted if he did something wrong, and Caleb hated him for it. He played things safe, just to be sure. Caleb was starting to come back to reality again, as his stresses had all disappeared down the drain following the dirty water. He was also starting to get some of his confidence back as well, so decided to explain to Mr Black why he had been the way he had. Mr Black was actually surprised by the revelation. He had just figured that the boy was extremely embarrassed by having been caught. He was a bit worried now that he knew the real reason. "Caleb, you are driving yourself to despair trying to make everyone else happy. Sometimes you have to take a break and think about yourself, and your needs. You are a very sweet boy, but you shouldn't be disappointed that you couldn't have an orgasm for Dan because he wanted you to. Instead you should have been disappointed that I had interrupted you before you had that amazing feeling. Dan was trying to give you something for you to enjoy, but you were only thinking about keeping him happy. I think that is one of those situations that you should have been thinking about yourself. If you had been thinking of yourself, then I would beat you that you still would have had that orgasm, even with my intrusion." Mr Black said sincerely. He was hoping that Caleb would take note, because if he didn't Mr Black didn't know what the end result would be. He figured it would eventually drive the boy crazy. "I know that you are right. Dan keeps telling me the same thing. Mind you he doesn't use the sex stuff as an example. I just can't help it. It makes me all giddy inside when I know that I have made someone's day." Caleb replied honestly. "I know that Dan must have given you an orgasm by now. Now think about how that truly felt, and then compare it to the giddy feeling you get when you make someone else happy." Mr Black said. He was hoping it would get through to the boy. It did as you could literally see Caleb make the connection in his head. "Your right Mr Black. I should enjoy the orgasm's Dan gives me, as something for me. But I will still try to make others happy still." Caleb said happily. He was finally realising that there was a better feeling than making others happy. He still wasn't selfish enough to think that him being happy was the be all and end all of things. He was still going to try to make other peoples day, just now he would enjoy the rewards of it every now and then. "That's all I was hoping for, and I'm sure Dan has been thinking the same too." Mr Black finished off. Mr Black then told Caleb to get out, dried and changed because they were starting to run a little late. So Caleb using the bench, so he didn't have to expend energy un-necessarily, and got changed. Mr Black went to his bedroom to get changed, and before long they were in the sky following the snake like harbour towards Caleb's school. The same huge crowd was standing waiting for the helicopter to arrive. The excitement levels were even more intense than yesterday. The kids in the crowd couldn't believe that Caleb would reject such an honour, especially since it was presented from the Prime Minister. But everyone was so proud of him for it. Caleb without trying had become the schools hero. Again as the boy disembarked the helicopter he was swamped by an appreciative crowd, and had to get rescued by his friends again, before he collapsed to the ground in a heap as a result of the overbearing appreciation the crowd was showing him. Today he took my advice and asked his friends if they were willing to give him more help today, so that he didn't wear his body out again. His friends were extremely relieved to hear him ask this. They were worried about how hard he had been pushing himself. They told him that too, as well as they were more than happy to help him. Today Caleb coped a lot better, and because he wasn't using as much energy getting to class he found he could concentrate better. But like the other couple of days he was also the centre of attention from all the other kids, and was finding it hard to have any time to himself. Today he had computing straight after lunch, which was the class he was looking forward to the most today, because he had a hidden agenda. Once the class was settled and the teacher was trying to teach everyone some basic internet website design, he was creating a Facebook account. Not because he really wanted an account, but because he felt it was easier that way to then do what he really intended to do. He then created a page dedicated to Alex. At the same time was also setting up a bank account so that donations could be made. He gave a brief description about what the boy had and what he had gone through. Then he added what he wanted to raise the money for. He then linked it to his profile, and liked it. By the time he got back to his profile he already had 25 friend requests. A few of them were from kids in his class who were also doing their own thing during the class. He went through the rest to see if he recognised anyone, to which he didn't so he figured that if they really wanted to know him, then they would private message him. He quickly went back to the other page to see if anything had happened. The same 25 names had also liked this page, one of which had also said that once the bank account is active he would donate $25,000 into it. Caleb almost gasped out loud at seeing that. He decided that he would accept everyone as his friend, but by the time he got back the number had doubled. He couldn't believe how quickly all this had happened. He noticed that someone had private messaged him. So he opened it up and read it. He was shocked with what he read and sobbed out loud, which caused everyone to turn around to look at him. The message was pretty brief. It said that some guy had dealt to his former friends and they got what they deserved. There was a post script at the bottom of the message, saying that they were probably a couple of rooms away from me. "No, no, no." Caleb sobbed out loud, getting everyone a bit worried. "That wasn't supposed to happen." He had wanted to shame his former friends. Not get them put in hospital, he had made sure only to use first names hoping that no one would really know who he was talking about. Unfortunately someone had worked it out, and gone too far. "What's wrong Caleb." The computer teacher said as she rushed to his side. She gave him a disapproving look when she realised that he was on Facebook. But she read the message that he had open on the screen, and gasped in shock. How did this happen she asked. Caleb replied that he had bought up how badly those boys had treated him in the interview. She just nodded remembering that part, and then she suddenly clicked. "Oh my god, did someone take what you said the wrong way. Have they gone out to avenge you?" She asked although she already knew the answer because it was still up on screen. "Yeah, I never meant for anyone to get hurt. I just wanted to shame them." Caleb blubbered. Tears were now streaming down his cheeks. He couldn't believe things had got so out of control. The teacher hugged him, and Caleb turned his head and cried straight onto her shoulder. The teacher ushered one of the kids to get Tim, Luke or Chris to come and get him. She used the chance while waiting to see what else Caleb had been up to. She was very impressed that he wasn't wasting his time but was doing something very worthwhile. She went over the page Caleb had set up for Alex. She whispered to the boy that he better get to the bank after school to sign the contract, so that he could get the bank account officially opened. It turned out there had been another substantial offer come up. Caleb looked around at it, and produced a weak smile as he read that someone was willing to donate $15,000. He couldn't believe it he had only opened the page fifteen minutes ago and already there was $40,000 in donation offers. He was just hoping to make a couple of grand for Alex. Never in his wildest dreams had he expected such large numbers. The kid that the teacher had sent out had returned with Chris in tow. He was in a class only a couple of doors down. He went straight over to Caleb and asked him what was going on. Caleb tentatively reached over to the mouse and directed the pointer on the screen, so he could bring the message back up again. Chris stood beside his friend as he read it. His mouth dropped open with shock at what he read, and then he slung his arm around Caleb and gave him a hug. He tried to tell Caleb that it wasn't his fault. It was just some dickhead wanting to be cool by trying to impress Caleb. Chris told Caleb, that next time he saw Dave maybe he should ask him as to whether he knows anything about what happen. Dave still goes to the same school that Caleb used to go to so maybe he had heard something. There was something that didn't quiet add up to Chris, and that's why he said to talk to Dave. He didn't understand how someone could have worked out exactly who he had meant. Not unless they knew them too. In which case he wondered whether whoever it was that beat them up, was also having problems with the kids. Chris sensing that Caleb was starting to calm down started to pay more attention to what Caleb had on the computer screen. "I didn't know you were on Facebook." Chris said, having seen Caleb's Facebook account up with another 20 pending friend requests. "I wasn't till about twenty minutes ago," Caleb replied honestly. He was still sobbing a little bit, as he was feeling sorry for the jerks that used to be his friends. Caleb couldn't help but feel responsible for it. it is just the way he is. "Man! You really are popular then because in the twenty minutes that you have been on Facebook you have as many friends as I have. I've been on for a year and a half." Chris said. He was stunned at Caleb's revelation. He couldn't quite believe that there were that many people wanting to be Caleb's friend. Well he could believe it, but really didn't think that it would happen so quickly. "I only set up the account to help a boy that I met in the hospital yesterday. I sort of thought that I could use my current fame for some good." Caleb said smiling. It was the first time Chris had seen him smile since he had come to the classroom. He brought his other page back up, and explained to Chris about the boy's condition. He then let Chris know what he had wanted to do for him. "Man Caleb, you are just full of awesome surprises. I mean who does that for someone that they only just met." Chris said. He was admiring his friend even more for his generosity. He gave his friend a pat on the back and another hug. Chris then said that he should head back to his class now that he was alright again. But before Chris had the chance, the bell rung telling everyone that class had finished, and that they better start heading towards their final class for the day. Seeing as Chris was already with Caleb, he decided that he might as well help his friend to his next class. It was only at the end of the hall, about three classrooms away so wasn't going to be a big deal trying to help Caleb on his own. Once at his final class Caleb thanked his friend for all his help. Caleb said that hopefully one day he would be able to repay the favour. Chris just shook his head in disbelief. Caleb was still looking at helping others out, instead of worrying about himself. Chris gave him another hug for the gesture, and then headed off to his class. He ran into Tim and Luke in the hallway and gave them a brief account of what had happened. They looked a bit dismayed with Chris's story. But they were glad that Chris had managed to settle him down again. They too gave a look of awe when Chris told them what Caleb was doing for Alex. They all thought that they had got to know what Caleb is capable of. But each time Caleb surprises them with something much bigger. They then all headed to their own class. The last class went really quick. Before Caleb realised it he was getting helped back to the waiting helicopter. His friends wished him well with setting up the bank account as they helped him up into the copter. They then slid the door closed and waved goodbye, before they quickly heading off towards their waiting rides. My day was a bit more eventful today. Dad stayed with me again to keep me company. I finally got rid of those annoying dressings. When the nurses removed them during the scheduled dressing change in the morning, they decided my wounds had healed sufficiently enough not to need the dressings to be replaced. It was bliss being out of the restrictive dressings, and for the first time since ending up in hospital I was able to move my arm and leg properly again. I knew though, that I was almost ready to leave this place. As soon as the doctors were happy with my rehab then I would be out. I decided that I would try to do more than just my rehab. I decided at one point, as my bladder was bursting, that I would try to go to the toilet myself. It was an embarrassing disaster to say the least. I made it to the toilet easily enough. I went into one of the cubicles, and locked myself in. I then sat down on the toilet as my legs were a little shaky. Once I had finished my business I tried to stand back up. But my legs didn't respond to my requests at all. I called out for dad to help, but he couldn't unlock the door from the outside. I couldn't reach the lock from inside the cubicle either. It was now that I wondered why I had locked it in the first place. Force of habit I guess. Dad had to go down to the nurse's station to get some help. He came back with a female nurse, who had a key to the toilet cubicles. Needless to say when she opened the door I was looking a bit sheepish at the situation. What did surprised me was that I also felt a bit exposed. I mean it's not like the nurse hadn't already seen everything before, as she was one of the nurses who changed my dressings. Being like that on the throne somehow felt different. I really felt the urge to hide myself from the women. Otherwise the rest of the day was uneventful. Dad got a phone call at one stage. He told me that he had to go out for a bit, as Caleb needed him. I nodded my understanding to him. I was wondering what was so important that Caleb couldn't wait till he got back to the hospital. I was also wondering why he needed his dad to help. Mr Black dropped Caleb off outside the bank, which Caleb had said that he wanted to go to. Caleb got out of the car and told Mr Black that he would get in touch with him, with regards to the other request that he had made of him. He then turned and stood just to the side of the tinted glass automatic sliding doors that led into the bank. He was now waiting for his father. Caleb's dad turned up five minutes later and led Caleb into the bank. He didn't have any idea as to what his son was up to, but went along with it anyway. Caleb had been very vague on the phone as to why he needed to go to the bank, but his dad had learnt to trust Caleb's judgement. They entered the automatic doors to the bank and walked into a short entrance lobby. They reached a second set of tinted glass sliding doors, but this time they had to wait till one of the bank tellers let them in. It was for security reasons that they had these second set of doors. As it is a bank, all the glass was bulletproof. It is also tinted so that you couldn't see what was happening inside. The purpose of everything was to try to deter crooks from planning a bank robbery. The inside of the bank was pretty modern. There was a long dark grey counter, which could house up to 6 tellers at a time. There were only 3 tellers on at the moment. The rest of the large room had computer desks and seating, set up in little areas. This is where the banking managers discussed with their customers, anything to do with their banking needs. They deal with the things that the tellers didn't have the authority to do. Things like bank loans or mortgages. There were also security cameras everywhere. No matter where you were in the building there was at least one camera on you at all times. Caleb and his dad waited in the queue for the bank tellers. Once they had finally made it up the front and got to talk with a teller, Caleb told the teller how he had set up an account online and that they were there to sign for it. To get it activated. The teller was pretty proficient and got the paper work ready. She then got Caleb to sign it. But because of his age his father also had to co-sign for the account. Caleb is too young to enter a formal contract without the consent from a legal guardian. With that the account was formally open. Before they left Caleb wanted the teller to do one more thing for him. He told his dad that he didn't need him for this, so he should go and make himself comfortable. His dad shrugged his shoulders wondering why he was being so secretive, but he did as his son had told him to. Caleb asked the teller whether she was able to set up a secure payment system on a web page that he had opened. She told him that she couldn't, but if he waited there she would see whether one of the bank managers was available to help him. She came back about two minutes later, and led him to one of the managers. Caleb told the bank manager what he wanted to do, and why he needed it. The manager was gobsmacked when he heard that the 11 year old in front of him, was setting up a donation account for a sick boy in the hospital. He had never come across such a request, well from someone so young anyway. He said that he was able to do that for him. He started typing away on his keyboard, stopping every now and then to ask Caleb a question, before he continued on. Five minutes later it was done. Caleb had the account set up for internet banking at the same time. Caleb thanked the manager, and headed off to find his dad. Caleb had one more stop planned on the way back towards the hospital. The hitch was that until some of the donated money cleared he had none. He asked his dad if he could borrow some money. His dad asked him why he wanted it. It was a very unusual request from Caleb. His son just asked him if he trusted him, which of course he did so he didn't try to press him any more on why he wanted it. Caleb asking for money was unusual because he never seemed to want anything, so he very rarely asked for money to buy something. The last time Caleb had asked for money was to buy his surfboard. That was a couple of weeks after he had been discharged from hospital, when he had been beaten up. Caleb had wanted to continue being active but couldn't face up to playing a team sport anymore. He had wanted something that he could do by himself. Surfing looked perfect for what he wanted. Well it had turned out to be the best thing that he has ever purchased, as he probably wouldn't have met me if he hadn't. His father agreed to give him the money. Caleb insisted that it was only a short term loan. Then Caleb led his father into an electronics store on the way. He quickly got what he wanted and was about to get his dad to pay for it, when he decided that he should also get himself a computer while he was there. Now with all the items ready his dad paid for them out of his checking account. Caleb double checked with the clerk that he had the right room number, and that they would set up the gear for him. He then took hold of his computer, and they headed back to the hospital. Dad was still trying to get information from the boy. But all Caleb said was he would find out soon enough. He then said to his father that he wanted a little alone time for a while. Caleb had meant to invite his dad to meet Alex but totally forgot to inform him. His dad just sighed knowing he wasn't going to get any more information from his son, what could be so important that he was being so secretive he thought to himself. His son could be so frustratingly cryptic at times. He then left his son, and went off to try and find something to do for a while. Once back inside the children's ward Caleb found a wheelchair and collapsed into it. The excited energy that he had been running on had gone. Caleb still had a couple of things left to do. Thankfully one of those jobs was easily accomplished, because not long after he had collapsed into the wheelchair Dr Walker came walking past. Caleb called out for help after seeing that the doctor hadn't seen him. Dr Walker gratefully obliged to help the sweet boy. Caleb had the doctor wheel him to see Alex first. As they were making their way to Alex's room, Caleb took the opportunity to ask the doctor some question. He also made some arrangements. "Hi Alex. I just wanted to make a quick call in to say that thanks to an idea that Dan had, you should get some presents arrive very shortly. The idea Dan came up with, was setting up a donation fund for you. I will bring Dan over to see you at 6:00 and maybe we can have a bit of fun together." Caleb said as they entered Alex's room. His voice was sounding tired. He had been rushing around all afternoon setting things up, and now all he really wanted to do was rest. "Thank you so much, and I look forward to the visit." Alex replied as strongly as his weak body was able to. He was beaming with excitement. He was really enjoying having someone around who cares so much about him that he would come and see him. Caleb handed the parent the $50 that his dad had given him the night before, and told them to go out for a bit and enjoy themselves. They nodded at him in disbelief. They had never received such generosity before. They really couldn't believe such a thing would come from someone so young. Then Caleb had Dr Walker wheel him back to our room. On the way back Caleb called Mr Black and told him operation extraction was a go. The doctor could do nothing but smile. Caleb just continued to amaze him with how caring he was. He was really glad to have introduced him to Alex, now knowing that Alex will at least have some fun, before the inevitable happened. "What took you so long? I was getting worried about you." I said. I was almost crying as I had got myself so wound up thinking something had gone wrong with Caleb. Now that I saw that the boy fine I couldn't control my emotions. I started to bawl my eyes out. "I'm so sorry Dan. I just had a lot to do. I will tell you about it later." Caleb said as the doctor was lifting him up into the bed. He then hugged me, while trying to wipe the tears from my eyes. I started to calm down again. I actually couldn't believe that I had lost it so bad, just because Caleb was late back. I really do miss him heaps when he is at school. Caleb had just made a big mistake that was going to come back and bite him, and he didn't even realise it. I hugged him back, now that I was back in control of myself. Dr Walker left the room at this stage. We just lay there for a bit embracing each other in a hug. It was the sort of hug that you give someone that you haven't seen in a long, long time. "Dan... Um... How do I say this...? Um, can you please make me feel good? It has been a very long day." Caleb said breaking the silence. His voice sounded very weak. I couldn't believe it. He had actually asked me something, that I thought I would never hear come from his mouth. I obliged because he really deserved it. He also never seems to ask for anything, so it was the least I could do. "One last thing. It may pay to try and leave my clothes on, as we have to be somewhere at 6:00. If I fall asleep can you wake me before then?" Caleb said. I just nodded to him to tell him that I would. I could tell how tired he was, but maybe I could give him a new burst of energy. I started off just passionately kissing him. He did reciprocate the favour but his kiss was tired, it didn't lack the passion though. There was just no oomph to it. As I was kissing him I started to caress his body, slowly sinking my hand lower and lower till I got to the waistband in his shorts. I wish I could really take my time, and give him a really mind blowing orgasm. But after having got caught earlier, and I was a bit scared that it might happen again. I thought that I had better try to get him off, relatively quickly. Still kissing my lover and tried to find the button to his shorts. He was wearing some blue and black knee length surf shorts. Having located the button, I fumbled around until I had it undone. Then I slid down the zipper, exposing his black briefs. That caught me a bit by surprise. I hadn't expected him to still be wearing briefs. I caressed his small bulge for a while, until I felt him start to pitch a tent in his undies. Breaking off the kiss, I scooted down the bed so I could quickly pull his shorts and undies to his knees. Then I went back to kissing him. My hand gently caressed his still hardening cock. Once I felt that he had boned up to his full three inches, I slowly started to jack my lover off. I was enjoying feeling his foreskin sliding up and down, exposing the glands to the world and then hiding it back away. We were starting to sweat profusely. Caleb was starting to moan while still locked into a passionate kiss with me. Deciding that I shouldn't take too long I started to increase the tempo. I was getting louder moans from Caleb, and he was also starting to writhe around in pleasure. Again we got temporarily interrupted. But this time Caleb hadn't noticed. Dave had stuck his head in the door getting a bit of a shock as to what he saw. He also gave me a bit of a shock too. He quickly disappeared and told his parents that they should probably wait for a few minutes. I didn't know what to do, but felling Caleb's still hard three inch meat in my hand, the choice was made for me. Only now I knew that I couldn't muck around too much longer, as we had visitors. I really started to pound on his meat causing him to break the kiss. He was squirming around and moaning. It was too much to be able to hold onto our passionate kiss. He was getting really close now. I could feel his body tense up. I slowed down and just let the feelings linger for a bit, before I decided to finish him off. I started to increase the tempo again. He was really bucking around, like a mechanical bull. He was so close that he was really wanting for it to end. I wasn't quite ready for that yet, as I decided that I wanted him to suffer a little bit longer. Finally I decided the time was right. I started to pound on his cock again. Within a few seconds he tensed, lifting his but high off the bed. It almost looked like he was levitating. His balls contracted, completely disappearing into his warm sweaty body. Then he screamed, as his orgasm ripped through his body. It was sending a tidal wave of pleasure coursing through his veins. "Humph, Humph, ahhh, ohhhh , ahhh, jeezeus, my fucking god!" He screamed, ear piercingly loud. Following his almighty orgasm Caleb collapsed back onto the bed in a heap. He quickly fell asleep. It was at this stage that I wondered as to whether anyone outside the room heard us. It was miles too late for that now. I held my hand on his still twitching cock, letting it linger as I enjoyed the feeling of it pulsing away with his orgasm. Once his prick finally came down from it orgasmic high, I thought that I had better release it. Then I put his clothes back on properly. Just as I had finished doing up the button on his shorts, Dave re-entered the room with a huge knowing smile on his face. "Man you should put a sock in his mouth next time. I could hear him out in the corridor. Oh shit... I didn't realise he was sleeping. Man he must be tired!" Dave said loudly, until he noticed the sleeping Caleb in my arms. He then whispered the last bit. I just smiled at him. He was just such a kind hearted and caring boy, much like his friend and my sexy boyfriend, Caleb. "You're alright. He won't want to sleep too long if you're here. Don't worry if you wake him, as I'm sure he would be more disappointed if you didn't." I said to Dave. I wasn't trying to keep my voice quiet in the slightest, as I really knew Caleb would be extremely disappointed if we didn't at least try to wake him. "Should I jump on him?" Dave asked jokingly. He had such a devilish smirk on his face. I just shrugged my shoulders, as it was his risk to take. He took the risk. He didn't jump directly on him, just close enough to make his presence known. "Humph... Huh... Oh shit. Hi Dave." Caleb said. He was trying to regaining some of his senses, as he slowly woke back up. With the way he was still trembling, I could tell that he still hadn't recovered from his orgasm yet. "Good afternoon sleepy head. I see you had some fun after school" Dave said cheekily He had a smile right across his face, which showed how happy he was for his friend. Dave was really glad to know that Caleb had at last had a bit of pleasure, because he knows how much Caleb tries to make others happy. It was about time Caleb got a special present because he really does deserve it, Dave was thinking. "Huh... Ohh, how do you know?" Caleb said. He was now starting to realise what his friend was referring to. "Well, let's just say you weren't particularly quiet. I also had sort of stuck my head in and seen you. It was probably a good thing, as I managed to get rid of my parents before they came in too." Dave replied. He had the same grin still plastered across his face. A red faced Caleb just stared at his little friend not knowing how to react. He finally came to when he remembered what he wanted to ask Dave. He was still feeling upset about it, and was a bit scared to ask. "What's wrong? You look like you are scared about something." Dave said. He had noticed sudden change in his friend's expression. "Dave... Have you heard anything at school about...? What happened to... well, um... you know who?" Caleb stuttered. His feelings took a hold of him and he was starting to cry again. He just hoped that Dave understood what he was on about. "Huh? Ooh. I know what you're on about. Yeah I heard what happened, and don't blame yourself for it" Dave replied in confusion at first. He then clicked that Caleb was referring to his former friends. He gave Caleb a comforting hug, and then he told us what had happened. Turned out the boy who had beaten up Caleb's former friends was actually the older brother of one of them. He had seen Caleb on TV and remembered that he used to be a friend of his younger brother. When he heard what his brother had done to Caleb he finally lost it. His younger sibling had been giving him hell too for being gay, and he was so sick of it that he lost it, and bashed his brother and his friends too. They had also been giving him so much shit too. Dave explained that it was only a matter of time before the older boy couldn't take the shit that his brother was giving him. One day he was going to snap. It was just unfortunate that the interview had happened at that time in history. It had inadvertently sparked him to take revenge for the abuse he had suffered. Dave emphasised that it would have happened at some stage anyway. Caleb felt a lot more at ease with what had happened and gradually stopped crying. Caleb gave his friend a hug, and thanked him for telling him it wasn't his fault. He had felt so guilty since reading about it, that it was tearing him apart. Dave hugged him back. He then whispered to Caleb that he has got to stop blaming himself when something does go wrong. He emphasised that more often than not, there is nothing that he could have done about it. I broke them up by saying to Caleb that it was getting near to 6:00. He reluctantly released his best friend from his embrace, and started to climb out of bed. He then asked me as to whether I could get up on my own, or whether I would like some help. I told him that I should be fine, but it may pay to get into a catching position just encase. He did without a second thought, but I had no dramas as I eased myself out of bed and into the wheelchair. Caleb then told Dave to come with us and he could meet a special friend that he had made. Caleb with a lot of help from Dave wheeled me down the corridor towards Alex's room. Once we got there Caleb asked Dave to open the door for him. His legs were too shaky and he had to support his weight on my wheelchair. Dave opened the door and wheeled me in. Caleb literally used the wheelchair like a crutch, and once inside the room Dave helped Caleb onto a seat. Alex was in his bed playing a racing game on a brand new PS3. It was plugged into a new 43' wall mounted plasma screen TV. Alex sensed the door open, and some guests arrive. He hit pause on his game, and smiled the most grateful smile at the company who had entered his room. He looked worriedly at Caleb, when he saw that he had to get helped into a seat. "Alex, this is Dave. He was my best friend from my old school. This is Dan who you probably recognise from TV. Oh yeah don't worry about me. I'm just a bit tired from such a long day." Caleb said to his new friend. "Hi Dave I'm really pleased to meet you. Dan I want to thank you so much for the donation account, and for that scrumptious meal we had last night." Alex said weakly from the effects of his condition. He was beaming at me for being so thoughtful. I gave a really confused look, which Alex picked up on instantly. "Caleb I thought you wanted to be my friend." Alex then said. He was also trying to hold back his tears. He knew Caleb had lied to him, and that was one of his pet hates. "What??... Of course I want to be your friend." Caleb replied. He did not understand what had got into Alex. His mind still wasn't quite back on earth at the moment, so hadn't realised quite what had been said. "Well. Why did you lie to me then? It was not Dan's ideas. He didn't need to say so, as I could read it in his face." Alex stated bluntly. He was still fighting to hold back the tears. "Shit I'm sorry. It's just... well... I didn't want to take the credit for it." Caleb said. You could hardly hear him in the end, as he was feeling a bit sheepish for the lie. He knew that he should have told him the truth right from the start. "Why would you not want to take credit, for such a kind-hearted and generous gesture?" Alex asked totally confused by the boy's answer. "Because that's just the way he is," both Dave and I replied in unison. We both let out an audible sigh, as it was yet another kind gesture from Caleb, which he didn't want any recognition for. We both couldn't believe it, but at the same time knew why he had done it. Caleb has a real problem with being credited for the kind things he does. I still haven't managed to get through to him on that. It is a work in progress still. "Caleb, you really should be proud of what you do. You need to take the recognition that is deserved. It's not every day that such a wonderful person comes into your life, and makes such a big impact on it. It is only fair that I should thank the proper person responsible for it. Otherwise I just feel like a jerk." Alex said. His speech was taking every ounce of energy that he had. He was also trying desperately not to cry. Never in his life had he met someone like this. He was so overwhelmed from happiness that such a special person would come into his life. He was finding it hard not to show his feelings. "I know and I'm very sorry... Look if you feel like you want to cry go ahead. I mean we do it all the time, and it feels a lot better than keeping it in," Caleb said in a sympathetic voice. His voice sounded like it was spoken by an angel. He re-gathered as much strength as he could, to get out of his seat and give his new friend a big warm hug. That was too much for Alex and tears flooded from his eyes as he burst out crying. It was a major accomplishment to get Alex to cry, as he had always tried to keep a brave face on. Even when he found out that there was nothing the doctors could do for him, he still didn't show any emotions and kept a brave face for his parents. "Well anyway we came over to have some fun with you. So set up a game and we will take turns at trying to beat you." Caleb said. He was deliberately trying to change the subject, and brighten up the mood. "You can go first Dave." Alex was surprisingly good at the game for someone who had never owned a PS3. The only time the boy ever got to play on a console, was when he had been a one of his former friends house. Alex managed to beat Dave in the first race, and gave me a really good run for the money, in his race against me. Caleb got his arse kicked, turned out he hadn't really played on the console before. He found it fun, but it wasn't something that he wanted to spend much time doing. I had a race against Dave next. As we were playing Caleb told Alex that he had one more surprise lined up for him. He informed Alex that he would be over first thing in the morning to get him ready. Dave snuck through and beat me on the final corner of the race. It was at this point we decided it was getting late and that we should go. We all then said goodnight to Alex and gave him a cuddle as we were getting ready to leave. Dave wheeled both Caleb and me back to our room. Caleb was too exhausted to walk, so he sat on my lap in the wheelchair. Once back in our room, Dave's parents were waiting for us. They didn't say anything about where we had gone, they just helped their son get us into bed. They then said to Dave that it was time they left. Dave gave us a kiss and a cuddle, and said goodbye. He said that he would see us later. With that he followed his parents out of the room, and headed home. Dr Walker came in to check how Caleb's plans were going. Caleb replied that it was all falling into place. He wanted the doctor to fill in Alex's parents, and make sure that they had everything in order in the morning. He stressed to the doctor that he wanted it to be a surprise for Alex, and that he made sure that the boy's parents knew that too. Once the doctor had gone again, I asked my lover what he was up to. Caleb knew that he couldn't keep it secret any longer from me. He explained what he had planned. I was so proud of what he had accomplished, and knew Alex was in for a treat of a lifetime. The best part was Caleb wanted me to be there too, and to help keep him company. I was so proud of him that I gave him a huge kiss on the lips, and then embraced him in a big hug. We ended up falling asleep like that. I woke up in the morning and stared in Caleb's smiling blue eyes. He gave me a kiss full on the lips. He then told me to get up and get ready, because we had a busy morning ahead of us. With that he jumped out of bed and went over to the bag with his clean clothes in it. He pulled out some blue briefs and threw them at me saying he hoped that they fit. He said teasingly that he hoped that they didn't crush his favourite toy. Then he gave me a cheeky smile. He then followed it with a pair of his grey short league shorts. He had chosen them for me because they had an elastic waist band, no other reason than that. The last thing he gave me was a black printed T shirt. I got changed although the briefs were a little uncomfortable, as I wasn't used to wearing them after having been in a robe so long. They were a little on the small side, but they hid everything so the desired effect was achieved. But most importantly they didn't crush anything. Caleb put on some green tight cotton jeans, and a yellow printed T shirt. He then found some white ankle socks and put them and his reef skate shoes on his feet. Then he looked over to me to see how I was going. I was struggling to put on the shorts, as putting on the briefs had used a lot of energy. Caleb came over and gave me a hand. He teasingly gave my bulge a playful grope, just as he slipped the shorts over it. He then helped me with the shirt. He got the wheelchair as close to the bed as he could so all I had to do was get out of bed and sit down. Once I was in the wheelchair, Caleb wheeled me out of the room. He grabbed his school bag on the way out. He then pushed me out of our room, and then down the corridor towards Alex's room. We entered Alex's room and saw the boy laying there naked as his parents were trying to dress him. The only thing we really noticed made us wince in pain. His small 2 inch prick lay on his red and swollen scrotum. It looked so bad because of how big his balls had swollen due to the cancer. It looked really painful. His parents dressed him in black knee length shorts. No undies because his parent's didn't want to cause him anymore discomfort than necessary. They also put him in a plain white T shirt. Then they waited as Dr Miller came into the room and disconnected the morphine, before they all gently helped him into a wheelchair. His mum and dad came over to Caleb, while the doctor was disconnecting the drip. They thanked him for doing this, and being so kind to their son. Caleb just shrugged his shoulders as if to say it was no big deal. That earned him a hug from both parents as a reward. Both Alex and I were now in wheelchairs. Caleb was pushing mine. Alex's dad was pushing his son. We headed towards the lifts. About halfway to the lifts Caleb started to get tired. He asked Alex's mum if she would mind pushing him and me in the same wheelchair. She just gave him an approving smile, so Caleb hoped onto my lap as we got pushed again towards the lifts. Our timing to the lifts was perfect, because just as we got there one of them had just opened up its doors to let people out. After everyone had exited the lift we got wheeled in. Alex's dad hit the button for the roof. The doors then closed with a ding, and the lift started to accelerate up towards the roof. Once at the roof it came to a stop, bouncing a little as the momentum subsided. The doors then opened again with a ding. When the doors opened I heard Alex gasp, and then jump around a little in excitement. We had arrived at the hospital helipad. As planned, Mr Black's helicopter was waiting. Caleb had successfully managed to arrange special permission for him to land at the hospitals helipad. It wasn't too difficult once he explained why he wanted to do it. The only problem we could have faced was if an emergency came in, and the rescue helicopter needed to land there. Thankfully it wasn't needed at that point in time. One good thing about Mr Black's helicopter was it had wheelchair clamps already installed into it. Mr Black had a few clients who were wheelchair bound for various reasons, so he made sure that when he got the helicopter fitted out that he had clamps installed. So with a hand from Dr Walker and Dr Miller, they got both Alex and I loaded into the helicopter and clamped into place. Caleb had to get in by his own means as the wheelchair was too heavy to lift with both him and me in it. With everyone loaded into the helicopter, the doctors wished us the best and slammed the sliding door shut. The pilot then started up the rotor blades, and waited till they were up to full revolutions. Then slowly we started to lift off. Caleb had deliberately got us up extra early this morning, as the trip wasn't just going to be a school run. The helicopter flew at a lower altitude than normal as it followed the snake like course of the harbour. The early morning sun was glistening off the water, and giving a nice orange tone to the hills. The scenery was absolutely breath-taking, much better than viewing it from the road. Alex was aglow with happiness. His face seemed so relaxed and happy that the effects of his illness had disappeared. I was looking at him and admiring his courage. In the short time I had known the boy he seemed to make light of everything, even though he knew his days were numbered. He was truly an inspiration. We flew the entire length of the harbour and made a low level flight over our tiny town. As we did that, Caleb pointed out his house, and my house to Alex. Seeing the beach again for the first time since the accident, caused me to shudder at little remembering what had taken place. I could see that Caleb was trying his hardest to block the beach and everything associated with it out of his mind. It wasn't working and I saw the demons returning to his eyes. It was going to be a long hard road to get him back into the water I thought to myself. After the flyover of our little town, we followed the harbour back towards the city until we got to Debra bay. This was the first time I had seen school since ending up in hospital. Unsurprisingly nothing had changed, but I was surprised to see such a huge gathering of people, crowd around the helicopters landing zone. I hadn't realised what Caleb had to put up with every morning, he really had achieved celebrity status. Well at school anyway. The kids on the ground had heard the distinct thud of the chopper blades, and had headed over to where the helicopter usually lands. The crowd had its usual excitement from having someone of such an important status, go to their school. The all looked confused when the helicopter appeared from the north today. As opposed to its usual trip, this brought it in from the south. Caleb had to go home for something they all thought. The helicopter slowly eased itself to the ground. Once the pilot was happy that we were firmly on terra firma, he shut down the engines. This confused the gathered crowd even more. From inside the chopper Caleb had made a call to the principal. He had asked him for some help as he had a couple of guests, which he had brought along for the ride. He kept the door firmly shut until he saw the help arrived. He turned to Alex, and asked him how he was feeling. He wanted to know whether Alex was up to giving Caleb a big favour. Alex said he was fine, but gave a very sceptical look at his second question. Caleb just explained that he thought it was important for Alex to tell his story to the school. He wanted the boys of the school to realise how important it was to bring up issues which they have with their bodies, to their parents. Alex looked scared at the request. He knew it was for the best. So he agreed to do it. Caleb told him not to panic. All Alex had to do was tell his story, and Caleb would do the rest. Then Caleb turned to me and said welcome to your first impromptu school assembly for the year. With Caleb happy that everything was in place. He decided that he had kept the crowd waiting long enough and slowly slid open the door. The principal and a couple of teachers, one of them being Mrs Milner, quickly pushed the students aside. They came up to the now open door in the side of the helicopter. Caleb unclamped me first and wheeled me to the door. The teachers quickly grabbed hold of the wheelchair and gently eased me out of the copter and onto the ground, while all of them welcomed me back. Once on the ground I got swamped by the crowd who were so thrilled to see me again. It was all getting too much for me, and I was so glad when our friends came up to save me. They gave me a smile, and said welcome to Caleb's world which caused me to laugh. Caleb had finished unclamping Alex and wheeled him to the edge of the copter. He gave a brief announcement introducing the boy and telling everyone he wanted to have a special assembly. The teachers grabbed Alex's wheelchair and gently lowered the new arrival to the ground. The crowd weren't really sure what to make of the new boy, but figured he must be important if he came along with Caleb, so they gave him a warm and friendly welcome. Caleb was quickly grabbed by the principal when he got off the copter. The principal was asking what was so important that he would call an assembly, without having informed him first. Caleb walked with the principal away from the crowd, so no one could eavesdrop, and told him about the boy. The principal struggling to hold back his tears realised that Caleb had a point, and it was important enough to call an assembly. Because we were under quiet heavy time constraints as Alex's morphine would wear off after 2 -3 hours Caleb, had the assembly start early. He didn't want to inflict pain on Alex. The kids filled the hall pretty quickly given that it wasn't the proper start time yet. The teachers wheeled Alex up onto the stage at the front of the assembly, and gave him a microphone. Caleb stood beside him with a microphone for himself. I was wheeled up beside Alex on the far side to where Caleb was standing. Caleb gave the introductions and asked everyone to welcome me back. Then he got them to give a warm friendly welcome, to his new friend Alex. Caleb then told the school that Alex had a very sad story to tell everyone, and that afterwards he wanted to say a bit more about it. Alex started off very nervous. He told his story and slowly built in confidence. By the end he could tell that most of the kids in the school were crying. He then realised that lots of people do care when someone has something bad happen to them. He had got so wound up after his friends ditched him that he had shut off from the world, and only wanted his parents to be with him. He now saw that he still should have tried to make friends, as there are a lot of good people still left in the world. Once Alex had finished Caleb started up. He was stressing the importance of not being embarrassed when it comes to our bodies, because essentially all boys have the same things. As do all girls, so there really is nothing to be ashamed about. He also said that we should feel confident enough to talk to our parents if we have any concerns about our bodies, because otherwise by the time we do something about it, it could be all too late. There were a few questions come from the kids. They were mainly to do with what we boys should be looking for, to make sure that we don't have testicular cancer. Everyone was so well behaved, and no one made fun of Alex. In fact it was totally the opposite after hearing what he had been through everyone wanted to be his friend, even though it might only be a short term thing. Caleb was getting very tired. I could tell. But he had to make sure Alex and I got back on the chopper soon, so that Alex could get back on the morphine. Caleb would have felt extremely guilty if Alex ended up in any sort of pain, because of what he had asked him to do. He thought it best to now finish off the assembly, and get us back to the helicopter. With us fully loaded back up into the helicopter, the pilot started to wind up the rotors. Alex and I waved out the window to my boyfriend. We both got a big shock when we saw Caleb's legs buckle, and the boy ending up sprawled on the ground. Our friends quickly picked him back up. They were a bit ashamed at having failed Caleb this time, not that Caleb cared. He was more worried about Alex. With the rotors at full rpm's the pilot lifted us up, and then did a circle of the school before turning back south towards the city. Tim, Luke and Chris were still mortified that they had let Caleb down, and hadn't caught him before he fell. But Caleb just said to them they had done a great job, and the fact that he has only fallen once around them, has been really good luck. He still can't work out how he has managed to have been caught so many times before, because there had been a few cases where he had put himself in really stupid positions. Our friends just gave Caleb a hug for him having been so accepting of their mistake, although Caleb still failed to see what their mistake was. Caleb's dad had slept in. He rushed to the hospital knowing that I would probably be very lonely, and worried about what had happened to him. When he got to our room and seen it empty he panicked, and rushed around trying to find one of the doctors. Eventually he found Dr Miller, and spurted out ramblings about me being missing. Dr Miller looked a bit surprised but realised Caleb mustn't have had a chance to tell his father what he had been up to. Dr Miller headed the father into his office and started to tell him about what his son had been doing. Caleb's dad really started to worry about what his son had got himself into, when Dr Miller explained about Alex and the condition he had. He feared his son may not take the death of the boy very well. He wasn't surprised in the slightest at the revelations. As the more confident the boy became because of me, the more generous the things that he did. Caleb's dad really couldn't believe how much I had brought his son out of his shell. In a lot of ways he was happy for it. But it was times like this that he feared his son maybe getting in over his head. That is probably why his son had kept it from him. In reality though Caleb had meant to tell his dad, but by the time his father had come back in to see him last night he was fast asleep. Alex and I enjoyed the return flight. I was telling Alex how proud I was that he had gotten up on stage and told the school about his condition. He shrugged it off, saying that if it wasn't for Caleb he wouldn't have realised how important it was to tell people. He told me how happy he was now at maybe having made a difference in someone else's life. He was so happy too, at not being rejected again. Most of all he was happy that Caleb and I had come into his life. Then he also added that Dave had been great too. He then asked me something that surprised me. He was really nervous as he asked it. He wanted me to give Caleb a special thank you for him. He knew I was the only one who could give the sort of thanks that he wanted. I just told him that I would try, and he gave me a slightly embarrassed smile in return. Mind you I could feel that my face was flush from embarrassment too. Once we had made it back to the helipad, on top of the hospital there was a small crowd waiting to help us. Dr Walker and Dr Miller were there again. The one that I hadn't expected was dad, he was waving to us as the helicopter swept in from the north and made its landing. Once the pilot had killed the engines, and the rotors had come to a stop they approached the copter. They slid open the door to get us out. Mr Black got out of the co-pilots seat. He had felt it best to let us boys just enjoy the ride in each other's company, so had sat up front as opposed to with us. I was really grateful for him doing that. With the doors now open and enough people on the ground to help. Mr Black unclamped Alex's wheelchair first and wheeled him to the edge of the door. Everyone grabbed a corner of the chair and gently pulled him out, and put him on the ground. They then repeated the same process for me. We thanked Mr Black for giving us such a wonderful time. He never said anything, just smiled which said it all. It had been his pleasure, and he was really pleased that Caleb had asked him to do it. We got wheeled a safe distance back, and turned to watch the helicopter take off. It was an unreal spectacle. The wind generated from the rotors swirled around us at gale force strength, and then it just lifted off the ground like it was as light as a feather. With the helicopter now out of sight we got wheeled back to our rooms. Caleb's dad introduced himself to Alex, as we made our way back through the hospital. Alex told him what a great son he had produced. I could tell that Alex was getting very tired with the way he had said it, but thankfully he wasn't showing any pain so we must have made it back in time. Alex had nodded off to sleep by the time we were halfway back. I just smiled knowing that he probably hasn't had a day full of such excitement in a while. I was really glad to have shared it with him. The rest of the day dragged on and on, as I couldn't wait to try and fulfil Alex's request. I had stripped off the clothes that Caleb had given me, and snuck back into bed naked. Dad saw me but never said anything about it. Dad and I just talked for most of the day. I finally found out why I hadn't seen mum in a while. She had been called to another part of the country as I had suspected, but surprisingly she had put up a huge fight over it. But if she wanted to keep her job she had to go. I sort of wished that she would just throw her job in, but she enjoyed it too much so that would probably never happen. I told dad about what had happened today and he was happy for us. He was proud when he heard that Alex had shared his story with the school. He looked a bit worried when I told him that I wanted him to get the doctors to check out Caleb properly, after he collapsed again today. I really thought that his body should be getting its strength back by now, and was worried because it obviously wasn't. Dad told me that he would tell Dr Walker as soon as he came back on for his shift. Dr Walker wasn't supposed to have been in, when we went for our helicopter ride. But after Caleb had made all the plans through him, he had really wanted to be here to see the exciting present Caleb had organised for Alex. Especially knowing that Alex was going to really enjoy it, and at seeing the way Alex was looking when we returned had filled Dr Walker with a warm fuzzy feeling. It was from knowing that he had helped bring such joy to the sick little boy. I knew that Caleb wasn't going to be too far away. I told dad how happy I have been that he has been around, even after Caleb went back to school. He had stayed to keep me company and I thanked him for that. Then I asked him if he was able to find something to do for a while, as Alex had asked me to thank Caleb for him. Dad just gave me a smile knowing what I had meant. He also knew that Alex had asked for this which surprised him a little. He quickly realised that Alex probably didn't have a real clue as to what he had asked me to do. He had just known instinctively that only I could give Caleb a thank you in a special sort of way. So dad ruffled my hair and gave me a kiss and a cuddle. He then vacated the room. Sure enough just after dad left Caleb got wheeled into the room by Dr Miller. I could tell from the look on Caleb's face that he had something really important, but exciting to tell me. As he was helped back into bed beside me he started to blurt out what he wanted to tell me, but his excitement was getting the better of him. I had to slow him down so I could fully comprehend what he was trying to say. Once he had settled down enough, I managed to get what he had been saying. It turned out the donation account that he had set up for Alex, was doing a lot better than he ever imagined. There had been well over a million dollars' worth of donations deposited into the account. I just gasped at the amount. I never believed that Caleb would have that sort of influence. But I was really happy, as it meant Alex was going to be sorted out while he was with us. I was so proud of my lover that I gave him a huge hug. I followed that with a passionate kiss. Dr Miller seeing this decided to stop what he was doing, and left to give us some privacy. ************ Comments are always welcome at (pennywise3636@gmail.com). Please keep all comments clean.
