Chapter 17: I had been too busy explaining things to Caleb that I hadn't noticed that we were taking a different route than normal. In fact it wasn't till we stopped that I knew something was amiss. Mr Black had stopped outside an abandoned looking warehouse somewhere in the old port district of the city. It was a long two storey building which took up the entire block. It was made of red brick that was in a state of decay. It had a large roller door in the middle with a smaller personnel door just beside it. Both doors where painted green although the paint was old and flaky, and in parts had worn away to exposed metal. There were no windows on this side of the building which made it look ominous and a bit scary. Not the sort of place I would want to be near in the night time. "I've just got to go inside and get some stuff, if you two want to come," Mr Black said as he opened his door and got out. I turned around to Caleb and saw that he was vacating the car too. So I undid my seatbelt to follow. "I'm sorry. Please forgive me," Caleb said to me as he got out of the vehicle and caught up with Mr Black who was just opening the personnel door to go in. I sat there confused with what Caleb had just said to me as it didn't make a huge amount of sense. I had just got Caleb to see my point over the earlier incident and already explained to him that he had nothing to be sorry for, so that statement left me confused as hell. I just shrugged my shoulders and got out of the car to follow them, slamming the door closed as I left. I got to the door and went in. I was in for the surprise of my life. ************ The room we entered was large and cavernous and very dimly lit. It used to be a truck loading and unloading area but now was a vacant empty and an extremely quiet room. It was very eerie and the occasional creak could be heard from the steel roof settling. Caleb and Mr Black headed into a door just to the left of the main entrance so I followed. The new room used to be the main offices for the factory. It was now in various stages of demolition. Most of the old desks and chairs had been removed as well as the partition walls. One complete side had all the dry wall removed exposing the framing behind. I could tell that most of the work had been done recently as there were still tools lying around the place. The biggest giveaway was the tools were all dust free. Caleb and Mr Black were standing at one of the tables that had been left. Caleb had a pen in his hand and in front of him on the dusty table was a piece of paper. "I need you to sign this please Dan." Caleb said to me, as he moved the piece of paper closer to me and then handed me the pen. I wasn't sure what it was for but I also couldn't be bothered reading it. I trusted Caleb so much that I just signed it no knowing what it was for. "So what did I just sign? I asked Caleb sceptically. He gave me a big smile. "Part of your birthday present." He replied timidly, confusing me even more. He saw the confusion on my face so he thought he better start spilling the beans now, as he had kept me in suspense long enough. "You now own half of this building. Well I should say that you will own half of it when you turn 18." "Why on earth would I want to own this dump?" I said a little too abruptly. Caleb looked a bit hurt at what I had said but he realised that I still didn't know about his plan. I know that I should have figured out that there was more to it than just an abandoned building, but I was too overwhelmed to think straight. He then started to explain to me why he wanted me to own half the building. He told me that after having met Alex and seeing the smile on his face, at just through being able to enjoy the little things, it had got him thinking. He came up with a plan and had spent a bit of time online looking for a place like this. When he found this place on the market he was originally going to use money that was going to be donated to the Cancer Kids charity. After having been told by the donors to his account that he had to take a share he ended up using his own money to purchase the place. He had me totally confused as to what he was up to. He seemed to be a little scared to tell me his plan, and as a result was going off on tangents. "So why did you buy it? What are you planning on doing with such a huge piece of real estate?" I asked Caleb. Mr Black was just standing away from us with a big smile on his face. He knew Caleb's plan and totally agreed with it. It had been him and Caleb's dad that had done most of the work on Caleb's behalf, and they all managed to keep me out of the loop, as Caleb had wanted. "Follow me!" Was all that Caleb said. He then handed the paper to Mr Black and we all headed to the far end of the room. There was another door at this end and we went through it. It led to a small passage which had another door to the right at the end of the passage. To the left was a staircase. He took me upstairs. Once upstairs he lead me through a door to the left into a massive room that had a lot of construction work going on. I could see that the room was trying to replicate what you envision a war torn city to look like, and wow, it really did look like what it was supposed to resemble. There were lots of wooded structures, placed in a sort of street grid pattern, that were designed to resemble houses or damaged buildings. Along the wall just to the left of the door was an assortment of laser guns and there were also some vests. In front of them was a large counter. The counter top was a dark blue colour with lighter blue sides which formed the base to the counter. "This is the first area, and we have pretty much completed it. It will be the laser zone part of what I hope to be a big gaming complex. It will be for both kids and adults to enjoy," Caleb said. Now he was starting to make some sense, and I was starting to see what his plan was. "Wow. This looks impressive." It was all that I could say. I was blown away at the sight. Its sheer size was impressive enough. It was the amount of detail Caleb had put into designing how it was to look, that was the real winner. Caleb then went on to explain his master plan, and also why he wanted me to have a share in it. That Sunday when he asked me all those questions had got him thinking. I had said that I always wanted to play with paintball guns, but Caleb knew that due to my condition I would never be allowed. Well more to the point it wouldn't be a good idea, and he wouldn't let me. Unless I was wearing a full suite of body armour, but that was a little unfeasible. He had figured that the next best thing to paintball was to use laser guns instead. It was also a lot safer for everyone involved and easier to clean up afterwards. He told me he also planned to have a massive games room, full of the old arcade style machines, as well as things like air hockey and foosball. Another room was going to be a giant children's playground which would be much bigger and better than what the city playgrounds are like. There was also going to be a giant flying fox stretching the length of the building, if it was possible. He also wanted a rock climbing wall as well. His whole objective was for everyone to be able to have fun, but he also wanted people to get out and do some exercise. He was trying to design a place where you could do both. He then said to me that the building was far larger than he thought and was starting to run out of feasible ideas as to what to do with it. So he wanted my help. He had always planned on giving me a 50% share in the place and had worked extremely hard to keep it secret from me. He had remembered back to that first day we had met, and we were lying outside my place sunbathing that I had said that I was nearly 14. So he figured my birthday couldn't have been too far away when he first concocted his plan, which is why he wanted to keep it secret from me. He thought that it would make the best birthday present. It was close, but I got a better present the night of my birthday, if you know what I mean. He also told me, that seeing as I had always dreamed of being a manager, he would pay to put me through university to get my management degree. I tried to tell him no as it was his idea so he should be the manager, but he told me he didn't want to do it. He wanted to be the public relations manager as he had planned to have free days so that the kids who have terminal illnesses in the hospital could enjoy the place to themselves, free of charge. I could only hug him, and then I gave him a huge kiss. He still was only thinking about how to make other people happy. I had to agree with him though. He was the best person probably in the world for such a job. He was going to make a lot of people happy. I asked him as to why I had to wait till I was 18 to get my share. He answered me by saying that he had to also wait till he was 18 too, even though he was the one who paid for it. The reason being under New Zealand law someone under 18 can't sign a contract without parental consent, but they also can't own property till they are 18. He told me that in the meantime the deeds to the place were under Mr Black's and dad's names, and as we turn 18 they will sign over the deeds to us. I sort of felt sorry for Caleb, as he had a lot longer to wait and what was worse is that the whole thing was his idea from the start. Stupid laws. He then told me that he was planning on quitting school as soon as he was old enough to do so, so he could work here. I told him not to, as he really seemed to enjoy school. He said that he couldn't finish school as he would be lonely, as by the time he was old enough to leave at 15, I would have already finished and so would Tim. Luke would have gone to a school in the city to finish his final years at high school. Caleb didn't want to go back to those big horrible schools in the city, so he would be on his own. That is why he was going to quit. Chris was moving so he didn't take him into account. I could see his point but I really didn't want him to quit school so early, as he had a lot of potential and he really did enjoy school. I devised a plan of my own at this stage to keep Caleb at school. "Oh, yeah, there is one more thing I want to show you." Caleb said, and then led us towards a set of double doors along the wall that was adjacent to the counter. He swung open the doors and I got my next big surprise. "Happy belated birthday, Dan!" Everyone who had been hiding in the room yelled. I was dumbstruck I never expected this and I didn't know what to do. There were a lot of people in the room. Luke, Tim and Chris were all here, which surprised me as I thought that Chris was in the process of moving. They were all there, along with their parents. Dr Miller and Dr Walker were also in the room, along with Mrs Milner and Mr Black, who had snuck off without me realising. Caleb's best friend, and of course my friend too was there. Dave ran up and gave me a hug, he had to break the hold of his parents first as they had been trying to keep him back, while I let everything sink in. I hugged him back as I was almost in tears with the whole thing. Caleb had really outdone himself this time. I was fully in tears when I noticed who was standing beside dad. Caleb had somehow persuaded mum to come back from New York early, so that she was here for this. I was so happy with everything but I didn't know what to do. I did what I thought I should and broke the hug with Dave, and went over to my special little man and gave him a huge hug, and a passionate kiss. I didn't care that everyone in the room was watching. Caleb had done so much for me I felt he was the first person that I should thank. I also wanted to thank him properly. Breaking from my kiss I whispered to him a big thank you. All he did was smile. I then released him from my hug and ran over to mum and gave her a big hug too, as well as a kiss on the cheek. I then went around and gave everyone else a hug telling them thank you. For dad and Mr Black I gave them both a big hug and a kiss too, as they had also done so much for me. If it hadn't have been for them, Caleb's plans would have never got off the ground, so I was extremely grateful for them having done so much. With the birthday greetings out of the way and having told everyone thank you, I finally had the chance to have a proper look around the room that we were in. It was the first fully renovated room that I had seen. The wall had all been painted red, almost maroon and there were various paintings of some of the city's most famous scenery perfectly lined up along it. There was an even spacing between paintings and each one was lit up by its own personal up light. The ceiling was a bright white and from it hung some very elegant lights, and the carpet on the floor was a bark blue coming close to black it was that dark. The colour scheme made the room feel relaxed and quiet. The room was designed as a dining room, so it had tables and chairs scattered around the room in an orderly fashion. The tables were all square and made from Rimu with red and white checked table cloths covering them. The chairs were also made of Rimu and were the sort that had a long round back with slats supporting the frame. The seat of the chairs had a cushion on it, which had the same colour and design as the table cloths. The area where everyone had gathered was a little foyer where you would wait until a waiter was available to take you to an empty table. Caleb didn't spare a penny when renovating this room. In fact everything that he has done so far seems to have been of the highest workmanship. Caleb took my hand, and we walked to the far end of the dining room and through a set of wooden double doors, the ones that swing open both ways. We went through the doors and into a modern industrial kitchen. The kitchen was sleek but sterile. It was made almost entirely of stainless steel. It was really functional though, as Caleb explained that he had a professional chef design the kitchen for him. Mum, dad and Mr Black followed us into the kitchen, as Caleb had decided to let them break the rest of the news. Mum started and instantly I thought the worst. She had told me that she had another job, but seeing the worried look on my face she told me that Caleb had hired her, as the temporary manager of the business. In other words she would manage the business until I was ready to take over. I gave Caleb another big hug and kiss, as he had now ensured that mum would always be around. He really has made my dreams come true. Mr Black said that he was going to ensure all of our plans come to fruition, as he knew the best contractors in the city and could get us some real good deals to have things built. He was also going to be the marketing manager, as well as taking care of the advertising side. Dad as well as being construction manager, was going to be in charge of the restaurant side of the business. His hardest task though was going to be keeping up with Caleb's ideas, and at times keeping his feet on the ground when he became too ambitious. He knew how important this was to his son, as did we all, and so was going to ensure that it became a big success. Dad thought that Caleb had made the right decision hiring mum as manager and Mr Black as the person to get the place known to the public. He knew that they were probably the best people in the city for their roles as they too fully believed in Caleb's dream. They would also ensure that it became a success as after all the money that Caleb was pouring into it they wanted him to be able to take over when he was ready. Mind you, ready isn't the right word, as for the role he wants in the business he is more than ready. But everyone wants to see Caleb complete school. I don't think they knew about Caleb's plan for school, well yet anyway. I have to say that I am really impressed with what Caleb has achieved to date and I'm really looking forward to getting involved with his plans. Between us we should be able to come up with something really amazing. Caleb had started the ball rolling and had some really good ideas, now it was up to the two of us to finish the design work and design a business that will be a real draw card for people from all walks of life. I know that Caleb would want this place to appeal as much to the poorer families who struggle every day, as it would to the rich ones who aren't so worried about throwing around their money. I am sure we can come up with something to keep both sides happy. Now that everything had been properly explained to me, we all headed back into the dining room so that I could mingle with my friends. We stood around talking for a while with everyone, and I was really enjoying having all my friends around. I knew that this would be the last time all of us would be together for a while, if not forever. I wasn't sure that we would all be able to see Chris at the same time ever again, which sort of depressed me. I knew I would be able to get Caleb, Tim, Luke and me over to see Chris, but I wasn't sure as to whether I would ever get Dave there at the same time, as he lived in the city so it was harder for us to pick him up. I tried to let the thought slide so I could enjoy what Caleb had done for me. I had also been wondering for a little while, how Caleb had managed to get our friends to act so well on Chris's final day at school. It turned out that none of the boys' knew anything about what Caleb had planned, as he had organised things through their parents in order to keep up appearances. So Luke, Tim, Dave and Chris where all just as surprised as me, at seeing everyone. I had been talking with my friends for a while, when I finally saw my chance to keep Caleb in school. Dave had returned to talk briefly with his parents and they were away from everyone else. I quickly walked over to them before Dave moved on again. "Hey. Can I ask you guys something?" I asked, as I got over to Dave and his parents. "Yeah, sure thing Dan, what would you like to know?" Dave's mum replied. "Um... well it sort of like this. Caleb wants to leave school as soon as he is old enough to do so. Mainly because he thinks that he won't have any friends left at school, so he doesn't want to be lonely again. We all know that he has been there before." I said to them. "Ah, I know what you are trying to say. But we can't afford it. It would also be too longer trip for Dave." Dave's father responded. Dave was looking really confused, as he hadn't picked up on what I was referring to. "What if I can organise for Mr Black to pick Dave up? I know that he will, as he would do anything for me, and for Caleb too. If he knew that Caleb was thinking about dropping out of school early, he would most likely have asked you the same thing." I answered back, hoping that I was right about Mr Black. Dave was still looking confused and was getting a little frustrated that his name kept getting mentioned but he didn't know why. "What are you talking about? And what does it have to do with me?" Dave asked, more in a demanding voice than anything inquisitive. "Sorry Dave. I was trying to ask your parents whether they would let you go to our school. You know because that way Caleb is more likely to stay in school." I said to the cute little boy. I could literally see the light in his head finally click on. "Cool, can I, can I, pwetty pwease." Dave asked overly excitedly at the prospect. All his parents could do was smile at their son. They were actually happy to see him excited about school, as ever since Caleb had left his school, he had become a lot less interested in going. It had got to the stage where Dave's grades were sliding down hill fast. His parents agreed to my plan, as long as Mr Black was a willing participant. Dave nearly burst through the roof he was so excited, and before I could stop him he had ran off to tell Caleb, as well as the rest of our friends. I on the other hand now had to make sure Mr Black was alright with it. I needn't have worried in the slightest as Mr Black was more than happy with the idea. He was less than impressed at hearing that Caleb had even considered dropping out of school early. Mr Black then excused himself and headed over to dad. I knew now that I had accidently dropped Caleb neck high in shit, but there was nothing that I could really do now. Caleb had extracted himself from Dave and the rest of our friends and come over to me. He gave me a big kiss and a cuddle. He then thanked me for getting Dave to come to our school. He also stated that he knew why I had done so, and he would stay in school if it really meant that much to me. I had to hug him back and followed that with a passionate kiss. I was so happy that he had changed his mind. Unfortunately we were interrupted by three adults who wanted to talk with Caleb. Mum had been with dad when Mr Black had told them about Caleb's plan, and she too was not happy in the slightest. I thought it best to try and stop the adults over reacting and I pulled them as far away from Caleb as I thought necessary. I explained to them that I had got Caleb sorted and he was going to stay at school. I also told them why Caleb had even thought of such a thing. They did see his point but they still wanted to have a word with him, so they excused themselves and went back to Caleb to have their chat. I could see that Caleb was getting a bit frustrated as he wasn't able to get a word in, but he was settled down after they said one last thing and then gave him a hug. He gave me a look as if to say that, well he supposed he deserved that. After his talking to, Caleb then went back towards the door to the laser zone and told everyone to gather around. He then announced that we were going to go play laser tag, and that everyone including the adults, were expected to participate. After we were all tired out, then we would come back in here for tea. He had got the same restaurant that had delivered to us in the hospital, to deliver a five course meal here. The first game Caleb suggested was `capture the flag'. The basis of the game was pretty simple as he split us into two teams as evenly as possible. He made sure that I was on the same team as him though. Now that we were divided into teams, we started at opposite ends of the room, and we had to try to capture the opposing team's flag and return it to your team's base to win. If you got shot then you had to make your way back to your flag and start all over again. You couldn't shoot again once you had been shot until you touched your flag. The last rule was no one was allowed to camp at their flag and wait for opposition players. You knew when you had been shot because your vest would suddenly light up to indicate that you were dead. Due to the numbers it was pretty difficult to get anywhere near the opposite teams flag. Every time I seemed to get close one of the opposition players who had just been shot, would then shoot me before I even knew they were there. It was pretty intense too, and involved a lot or running and crouching. It was made even harder by the fact that you could enter the buildings and ruins, and act as a sniper. We managed to win in the end but it took us a lot longer than anyone initially thought. We had all assumed that it was going to be easy, but due to Caleb's ingenious design of the battlefield it was a lot harder than anyone had expected. In ways it would probably be a lot like being in a real war. Thankfully our guns were only lasers so no one got hurt. The next game was a lot quicker due to the style it was. Caleb had us play a free for all. We all started from the same spot and had one minute to get away. The rules were very simple. Once you had been shot you were out. Caleb was really good at this game and he won the first two battles with ease. Dave shot him really early on in the third battle and then went on to win it. We were about halfway through battle number four and surprisingly I was still alive. I hadn't lived very long in the first three battles, so to still be alive halfway through this one was a big improvement for me. I was just about to shoot mum who was right in front of me, but hadn't seen me yet, when I heard a yell. "Doctor please come quickly, I think something is wrong with Caleb." A high pitch voice yelled from somewhere on the opposite side of the battlefield. I instantly recognised the voice, it was Luke's. I sprinted as quickly as I could towards where Luke had shouted from. By the time I arrived there Dr Walker was already there. Caleb was resting against the wall of one of the replica buildings. He was panting short sharp breaths, and his lips and fingers were blue. He wasn't in a critical state but he seriously needed to rest. He was about as bad as he had been the last time when Chris and Dave spent the night. I was a bit sad as I knew it meant that I wouldn't be able to thank him properly. But at the moment I was more concerned with making sure Caleb got better again. Dr Walker said that he would be alright, he had just over exerted himself but he wouldn't be able to keep playing. Caleb already knew that, and that is why he has resting against the building. Caleb had realised that his heart had started to play up, so instead of pushing on he sat down and rested against the building. Luke had found him like that and seen that he wasn't looking good. He knew Caleb had a heart disorder so panicked thinking the worst. Caleb had tried to tell him that he was alright, but because he was struggling to breathe he couldn't speak properly. Dr Walker and I picked Caleb up and started to walk him back to the dining room. Dad rushed up finally having found us. His face was full of worry, but when he saw the doctor and me supporting Caleb's arms around our shoulders and walking him back. He calmed down. If it had been bad news the doctor wouldn't have been walking him back towards the dining room. We got Caleb back to the dining room and sat him on a chair. He tried to apologise to us but was still struggling too much to be able to breathe that we couldn't hear him. Dr Walker then eased the fears of everyone who had gathered in the room, and were worried about Caleb. He explained Caleb's condition and what can happen as a result, he explained that Caleb would be fine in about half an hour, but that he would probably be really tired for the rest of the night. He asked everyone, and looked at me directly, to give him space and be aware that he will probably fall asleep so not to wake him. With everyone's concerns now eased everyone just stood around for a while before they went back to talking amongst themselves. Dr Walker took me and dad aside and asked us a couple of questions to do with whether he had any other problems since he had left hospital. We told him about the last one, and then he reached into his pocket and pulled out a prescription sheet. He filled it out, saying that he thought Caleb might be better off on these, and to let him know it he has any more problems. Caleb managed to stay awake longer than I thought he would. He was back to normal by the time tea had arrived, and managed to stay awake through the whole five course meal. The entrée was pate with crackers. It was a real goose liver pate with French herbs. It was delicious. I only wished there had been more of it. I think everyone else did too, as all the plates were quickly empty. The starter was seafood chowder, for those who either didn't like or where allergic to seafood, there was a creamy mushroom soup. I had both as there was a spare soup and I wasn't disappointed. The pate was better in my opinion but the starters were definitely scrumptious. Next was the main, which just for me was an authentic Italian pizza. It was definitely as good as what dad had cooked on my real birthday. I was in heaven again but I really wish that my sexy boy was well enough to thank. Oh well I can thank him later. I was not sure at this stage that I would get through all five courses. I had no idea as to what Caleb had ordered but I was really feeling full now. The pizza had been pretty big, and on top of the entrée and two starters, it was starting to become a really big meal. Thank god for being a teenager and being able to eat like a horse. A lot of the others hadn't made it through their pizzas, the only ones that had were us boys. Dessert was next, and I was glad to see that it was quite small. It was crème brule in a soufflé dish, served with vanilla ice cream. The top was nicely crunchy with a nice custard inner. It was still a lot more filling than it looked, but I got through it alright and was ready for the final course. This was the point that Caleb had really surprised me, as he was not just still awake but had also managed to eat everything that had been served up so far. He had been very quiet the whole time though, so I knew that he was struggling. He had only made sure that he ate everything because he didn't want anyone to worry about him more than they had already. The last course was not what I was expecting. I'm not exactly sure what I had really been expecting but it wasn't this. The lights were suddenly dimmed and the waiter bought out another birthday cake for me, with 14 lit candles on top. Again it was my favourite, a carrot cake with cream cheese icing. It was cooked almost as well as the one dad had on my real birthday. But I felt that this one was lacking something. I couldn't put my finger on it though but dad's was definitely better. I blew out the candles for the second time in three days and made my wish. Again my wish was pointless as I already had what I wanted, and even though he wasn't feeling the best, he was still sitting silently beside me. He would also be with me in bed tonight. After everyone had finished dinner the waiters bought out a bottle of Champagne and poured a glass for everyone. Us kids only got a small one as we were still under age. The adults allowed us to have some though, so we all decided to try some. Everyone was talking amongst themselves as the Champagne got served. After everyone had a glass in front of them, I heard someone beside me tapping on their glass in order to get everyone's attention. "First of all, I would like to thank everyone for being here on such a special occasion," Caleb said. His voice sounded tired and he spoke softly, so soft that it was a little hard to hear him properly. But everyone still managed to somehow hear what he was saying. "Secondly, for those that don't know, I have bought this building. I have given half of the title to my boyfriend. Unfortunately neither of us will truly own the place till we are 18, but dad and Mr Black will be the title holders for us until that time. I plan to turn this whole building into a sort of amusement park type thing, for people from all walks of life to enjoy. All of you will be allowed to use the facility at your own leisure free of charge. That is my gift to you. I would like to make a special thank you to dad, mum and Mr Black who will be running the business until Dan and I are ready to take over. I would also like to thank Mrs Milner, as she has helped keep this whole project secret from Dan, and has also allowed me the time during school to work on designing what I want to do with the place. I would like to thank everyone so much for the support you have given Dan and me during the time we were in hospital. But also how supportive you all have been with our relationship. Lastly I would like to apologise. I'm sorry Dan but I really couldn't just let you have one birthday. You deserve to have a celebration with your friends as well as family. Happy birthday again and I hope you enjoy the rest of the evening." Everyone gave Caleb a round of applause. Those that hadn't realised what Caleb had done till he told them in his speech, had a dumbfounded look on their face so they stuck out like sore thumbs. I was glad that I wasn't the only person kept out of the loop. The doctors and all of our friends and their parents hadn't known the full story. I could tell that they wanted to know more about what Caleb was doing but they were too scared to ask the boy. I gave Caleb a big hug and a kiss as I was really happy that he had done so much to make sure my birthday was a memorable one. Caleb broke the hug after enjoying it for a while and he motioned to Mr Black and dad. Both men came over to see what Caleb wanted, and Caleb told them. His voice was really soft now that the adults pretty much had to have their ears right by Caleb's mouth to hear him. He had asked if they could take him out to the car as he wanted to sleep. He then turned to me. "I want you to stay and enjoy the evening with your friends and family. I'm going out to the car as I need to sleep, and I don't want you to follow me until everyone has gone." Caleb pretty much whispered, but the tone in his voice still sounded serious so I knew that I had to obey him. Dad and Mr Black lifted him out of the chair and started to take him out of the room. Everyone else in the room looked a little concerned, but more upset that Caleb was leaving and not enjoying the celebration that he had planned. The three of them suddenly did a U-turn after Caleb had said something to the adults. They went over to Chris, and Caleb gave him one last hug to say goodbye. Just a he was about to leave he gave Chris a little peck on the cheek, which left Chris with a massive smile on his face. Then just like that Caleb was gone, and I felt a little bit lonely without him. After Caleb had left, and Mr Black and dad had returned the questions started. Mr Black, mum, dad and I had to explain in detail, Caleb's plan and what made him do it. We also had to tell them how Caleb acquired that sort of money to be able to do what he had planned. They were gobsmacked to say the least at what Caleb had done. They couldn't believe the 11 year old could have come up with anything like what he had. The details of his plans were far beyond his age but that was how Caleb got when he set his heart on something. Once we had finally finished discussing Caleb's plans for the building all of my friends were looking really excited, well, all except for Chris. He looked sad. He loved what Caleb had planned for the place, but he was disappointed as he had to move so wasn't ever going to get a chance to enjoy it. He knew that Caleb had ensured that he would get in free of charge but he couldn't see his parents ever coming out here to bring him here. I saw how devastated he looked so went over to where Chris was sitting and told him that he would get to enjoy Caleb's project as we would make sure that he got here, even if it meant picking him up via Mr Blacks helicopter. We would find a way, Caleb wouldn't have said anything while he was around if he didn't have a plan for that too. We continued to mingle around for a while. I was starting to get tired myself and was longing to join Caleb who was asleep in the car. It had been an emotional and busy few days, and it was starting to take its toll. Not to mention the bombshell Caleb dropped on me today. I mean who else gives someone half of their future business as a birthday present, it just doesn't happen. I loved him for it, well I loved him anyway. It was just another thing that proves that Caleb is different from the rest, and he is all mine. I couldn't be luckier. One by one everyone slowly started to leave. Chris and his parents were the first as they had a busy week ahead of them. It was an emotional farewell, even more so than yesterday as we all knew that this was the final time we would be together again for a while. It was a shame Caleb wasn't here, as he would have completed the picture. I got lots of hugs and the occasional kiss as everyone slowly dispersed. I was somewhat glad when it was just Mr Black, mum and dad left. Mr Black had noticed how tired I was and told our parents that he would take me to the car while they shut everything up. So we made our way back downstairs, but this time we took the little passage, as opposed to going back through the old offices. When we got through the door, I suddenly realised why we had come in the other way. We had entered the main reception and foyer. It was immaculately decorated. The walls where all a light tan sort of colour, there was a bright red stipe about 12 inches wide that ran about halfway between the wall and the ceiling all the way around the room. The wall to the front of the building had a huge set of glass automatic sliding doors. The carpet of the room was a sort of earthy yellow, and the main reception counter was a sea blue. There was lots of bright and cheerful artwork randomly place along the walls. Somehow it all came together perfectly, the whole room felt welcoming and fun. I never knew Caleb had such artistic talent, well probably more like interior design talent. We went through the large slinging doors, which opened so silently that if I hadn't been standing there watching it, I would never have heard them open. Outside was a huge car park, as big as anything you would see at a supermarket. It was pitch black outside, I hadn't realised how late it had got. I could just see the outlines of some light posts which supported some heavy duty floodlighting, but none of them had been turned on. I was looking around for Mr Blacks SUV but I couldn't see it. But I could just make out the faint outline of a black limousine. Mr Black led me over to the overly long vehicle and opened the backdoor for me. The first thing that I saw was Caleb lying along the whole of the backseat in a deep sleep. He looked so beautiful and peaceful. I slid into the seat with him and somehow we both managed to fit, lying on the seat. I snuggled up to him and got those warm comforting feelings course through me. I was asleep well before our parents had finished shutting up the place. We had left mum, dad and Mr Black with a bit of a dilemma as we looked so comfortable asleep together, that they didn't want to wake us, but on the other hand we were about to go on a drive and it wasn't safe for us to be like that. They decided to leave us and Mr Black just made sure that he was extra cautious with his driving. I was woken after what seemed like a short time later by mum and dad. As my eyes slowly started to open and make some sort of sense of my surroundings, I eventually realised that we weren't where we were supposed to be. We weren't at Mr Black's house, and we most certainly weren't home. It was bright, too bright to be any of our homes. I slowly started to sit up, but I was still too dreary to fully understand what was happening. Caleb was slowly, but very reluctantly waking up. He was trying to put up a fight but as a result it was having the outcome of waking him up more. Once he had finally woken up enough to start to look around he ended up with the same confused look that I had. He hadn't planned anything I thought to myself. "Why are we at the airport?" Caleb asked, in the croaky voice of someone who had just woken up. I couldn't believe it Caleb who had been awake less time than me, had worked out where we were already. Mind you I had never been to the airport before so didn't really know what it looked like. We somehow made it in and boarded a plane with Caleb and me dragging the chains, as we too tired to do anything. No one had answered Caleb's question and we were too tired to realise it. The seats in the plane were nothing like what I had expected as they weren't all crammed together. The seats were huge and we had a lot of leg space. We were also able to fully recline or seats to a bed like position. Turns out we had business class seats. As soon as we were seated Caleb and I were fast asleep again. Mum and dad were left to belt us up. In fact there are only two things I remember of our time at the airport. The first is when Mr Black said his goodbyes to us. I remember this because he didn't just hug us like he usually does, but he also gave us both a kiss on the lips too, which struck me as a little odd. But I still kissed him back. The second is that we didn't have to wait around for my flight. I automatically knew that we must be flying domestically. I had heard that you have to wait quite a long time when on an international flight. In my sleep I was slowly becoming aware that something hard was sticking into my hip. These business class seats aren't as good as they look, I thought to myself. I slowly woke up and realised that I was getting hugged by someone. Judging from the feelings I was getting it had to be Caleb. I was slowly able to open my eyes, but the world around me was still a big blur. It seemed bright. Brighter than I would have thought a plane would be during a night time flight. There was no noise either. I couldn't hear the whine from the engines. This is strange I thought. The world slowly came into focus and I quickly realised that we weren't still on the plane. The room around me was a cream colour and seemed to have a couple of paintings on the wall. There was a big ranch slider which had the sun beaming in through it. There were also a couple of porthole shaped windows in the wall above my head. On the opposite wall was an elegant mahogany dresser. I was in a bed. It was a really big bed, probably king size. It was so comfortable that I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. I looked over to my lover, he was still fast asleep. Something was still stabbing me in the hips so I reached down to remove it. As soon as I wrapped my hand around it Caleb moaned. I suddenly realised what was stabbing me. I repositioned myself to get better access to his hard toy and started to slowly stroke it. Caleb was starting to finally stir and wake up. He let out another little moan from the pleasure that I was giving him. "Please stop, I gotta go pee real bad." Caleb said groggily, as he was sort of coming to his senses. I released his toy disappointedly. He looked around the room and looked totally confused. "Where are we? This isn't a plane. Do you know where the toilet is?" I didn't get a chance to answer him, as he must have been that desperate to go potty that he leaped out of bed and ran straight to the first door he saw. He opened the door and quickly closed it again. The door led out to the hallway. He spotted another door in the wall opposite where our bed was positioned and opened it. He disappeared quickly not bothering to close the door behind him. I then heard his pee hitting the water inside the bowl of a toilet. Hearing the tinkle of Caleb's piss hitting the water made me realise that I needed to go the toilet too. So I followed my boner into the toilet and stood beside my sexy angel and let rip. Only now did it occur to me that we were both naked, which had me baffled even more. I asked Caleb while we were peeing into the toilet what was going on. He was as confused as me and just shrugged his shoulders. He finished up first and shook the last remaining drops from his now deflated prick and went over to the wash basin to clean his hands. I finished shortly after and washed my hands too then we went back into the bedroom. Caleb went over to the ranch slider and looked out. He said that we seem to be somewhere near a harbour. I was about to go look too, when I noticed a note on the dresser. I read the note out loud so that Caleb heard it. It was from mum saying she had taken our clothes to get washed and she would be over at around 10:30 to see us. She also wanted us to have had a shower before they got here. It still didn't explain where we were or why we were here, it didn't help ease our confusion what so ever. I went over to the ranch slider and stood beside Caleb, as we looked out of the clear glass window to try and work out where we were. It was a fine day but there were light clouds in the sky. The building that we were in must have been built on reclaimed land, possibly on an old wharf. The angle that we were facing didn't help to work out where we were. All that was in front of us was the sparkling aqua waters of what must be a harbour. I could vaguely make out some land opposite us but there was too much haze in the air to get any real detail of what was over there. We suddenly jumped as we heard a loud knock on the door. Caleb regained his senses first and ran over to the door to open it, totally forgetting that he was naked. Thankfully it was mum and dad as it was 10:30 and we hadn't realised. We must have slept in because neither of us had been awake that long. "Good morning Caleb. Good morning Dan. Don't you think that you should at least have a towel around you when you open the door Caleb?" Mum asked, after a buck naked Caleb had opened the door. Dad was standing behind her trying to stifle a laugh while shaking his head at seeing the state his son was in, when he opened the door. "Where's the fun in that." Caleb replied as he moved out of the way to let them in. "Have you two had a shower yet?" Mum asked ignoring Caleb's smart ass comment. She knew full well that we hadn't showered yet as neither of us had wet hair, the tell-tale sign that someone has just showered. "No we have just got up." I said to my mother while I headed across the room to greet our parents. "Gosh you two must have been tired. Well you better hurry up and take a shower as we need to leave shortly." Mum said with an urgent tone in her voice telling us that we better get cracking. We quickly showered and dried and then got changed back into the clothes that we had worn yesterday. They had been cleaned like mum had said in her note. Once changed, we bombarded mum and dad with questions about what was going on. We didn't get many answers but we found out what had happened last night after we boarded the plane. We also found out where we were. The flight attendant on the flight last night had recognised us from the TV so made sure that we would be able to disembark the plane without having to get woken up. She had got us a wheelchair each after all the other passengers had got off and somehow they had managed to get us in the chairs without either of us stirring. The same process was repeated to get us into the taxi. Once in the taxi and we had arrived here, the driver who had also recognised us said that he would look after Caleb while they took me to my room. Again they managed to move both of us, and strip us so they could clean our clothes, without either of us waking up. We found out that we were in Auckland and were staying at the viaduct basin hotel. The area we were staying was specifically built when New Zealand won the Americas cup in yachting. It became the home of the cup for the time that we held it and it was where all the yachts left from before their race. That was all we managed to find out from our parents as they weren't going to tell us what they were up to, well not yet anyway. We checked out from the hotel and began walking towards the city centre. Walking along the waterfront towards the centre of New Zealand's biggest city, I thought I would be in paradise. Auckland holds about 1/3 of the total population of the country and I quickly realised how much bigger it was here. There were people everywhere and everyone was in a big rush and didn't seem to have time for anything. I had heard that the South island is a country into itself. People are always commenting how laid back we are in the south, now being here in Auckland, I quickly realised how much slower the pace of life is back home. I had always wanted to come to Auckland but after having spent all of five minutes on the streets of the city, I don't think that I really want to come back. Aside from the hustle and bustle of the streets, the city is actually quite pretty. With all the high rise buildings it reminds me of what we see of American cities. The standout of the Auckland skyline has to be the Sky tower, similar in design to the CN tower in Toronto. It is the tallest high rise building in the southern hemisphere, so it does stand out, just a little. I still couldn't get over how crazy the place is though. We constantly had to try to dodge other people as no one here seems to move out of the way. Then there is the traffic, I really don't know how anyone manages to drive around, as us walking down the street were beating all the cars by miles. Mum and dad walked ahead while Caleb and I tried our best to keep up while we were holding hands. We had to let go of each other in order to be able to avoid everyone and catch up with our parents. We finally caught back up with them as they entered a building. There were a lot of tourists inside the building that we had just entered and they all seemed to be lined up waiting for something. I was starting to wonder if we were in the right place. But I still had no idea what we were doing here, so I wasn't going to say anything. Mum and dad got into the queue and we lined up behind them. I could tell Caleb was a bit nervous and uncomfortable being in here so I took hold of his hand again. Once we had moved sufficiently up the line mum reached into her handbag and pulled out four little booklets, she gave one to dad and then turned to us. "Here, you two you might need this." Mum said, as she handing us a little booklet each. We both looked even more confused as we took the booklet and looked at it. It was a New Zealand passport and had our names and details in it. It also had our mug shot which we didn't know when our parents managed to take. Why on earth were we going to need a passport in the middle of Auckland? We got to the front of the queue and we all had to produce our passports, which made sense as mum wouldn't have given them to us otherwise. Then we had our photo taken and they did some stuff that I didn't really see, and we were handed a piece of plastic with our names on it as well as our photo. It was a key card but also personal identification. We were told that we had to wear it all the times when we were out of our rooms, then the person behind the desk pointed towards a big open door and told us to head that way. The key cards had a chain connected to it, so we hung them around our necks and headed towards the door. Once we had passed through the door we were stopped briefly by a security guard who quickly checked our tags and then let us through. We walked along a short corridor before going through another door, but this time we entered a sort of tunnel structure, and it was slanted upwards like a ramp. We walked through the tunnel till we came to another doorway where we had to wait till the people in front of us were allowed to pass through. Caleb and I still had no idea what was going on, but standing on the ramp it almost felt like it was moving up and down. Once we got to the front of the queue again there was a lady who was dressed in a stewardess uniform greeting us. She looked at our tags and then told us to follow another steward and he would show us to our staterooms. We followed the steward who took us past a variety of shops and other entertainment venues towards a set of elevators. There wasn't a bland wall to be seen. Those that weren't shop fronts had murals painted on them. The whole place looked really flash and glitzy. I had never seen a place like this before. Caleb was looking a bit awestruck but at the same time he was still confused, as he still hadn't worked out where we were. I was in the same boat but due to some of the shop names I was starting to get a clue. We got to the elevators and one was ready waiting for us so we got in. The steward hit the button for the 17th floor once we were all inside the elevator car. The doors closed silently and the elevator started heading to the skies. The ride was so smooth that it didn't even feel like we were moving. Before long the doors glided open as noiselessly as they had shut, and we got out. The area we were in now was a lot smaller than the lower level that we had been on. Directly opposite the elevators was a place called the loft lounge. We walked past the entrance to the lounge and a series of other doors till the steward stopped, he then looked at our key cards at pointed us towards the appropriate door. Mum and dad went into a room on either side to the door Caleb and I got shown to. We scanned our card and heard the lock click open. We then turned the handle on the door and opened it. Wow talk about luxury, the room that greeted us was the flashiest place I had ever seen. The walls were painted a beautiful pearl white with the exception of one, which was a feature wall that was painted in a royal red colour. It had a cream colour carpet on the floor. Just off to the left was a doorway, so we poked our heads in to take a look. It was a luxury bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and a massaging shower. The lower half of the walls were covered in aqua blue tiles with the top having tiles in the same pearl white colour as the main room. The bathroom was spacious and with the little decorations that had been put around it, I would also have to say that it was romantic. We left the bathroom to explore the rest of the room, as we left the bathroom we notice a set of stairs. We decide to check what was up them last. Passing the stairs we noticed a huge spacious lounge which had a large comfortable looking cream lounge suite. The suite was positioned around an oak coffee table which had a couple of magazines placed strategically on it. On the wall hung a huge TV, a similar sized one to what I had at home. The wall opposite the door to the room contained a large glass sliding door which was currently hidden behind a red curtain. We poked our heads through the curtain to have a look. Outside was a decent sized balcony with nice deck chairs and a small table. There were also a couple of loungers for sunbathing on. I saw Caleb give a big smile at seeing that. We opened the door and went outside to take a proper look. We were totally secluded so weren't overlooked by any of the other rooms. Nude sunbathing was on and Caleb knew it too. This was our first real chance to see where we were. We look out over the edge of the balcony and we could look directly out to the city. Bellows us was some water lapping at the base of the massive structure that we were on. Caleb finally clicked, and so did I. We were on a cruise ship, and it was a huge one judging by how high up we were. I also figured out that due to the way we were looking over Auckland that we must be on the port side of the ship. We headed back inside and slid the door closed behind us. We then proceeded up the stairs. What greeted us was the most romantic looking bedroom that I had ever seen. The bed was a king size with a floral designed duvet and pillow set on it. Beside the bed were two oak bedside tables each with lit candles flickering away creating a magical atmosphere. The candles were fake, but still looked close enough to the real thing that it didn't matter. Opposite the bed was a large Oak dresser with the same fake candles flickering away. There was also a huge floor to ceiling mirror beside it. There was also a large window giving unobstructed views out over the city. There were a couple of red armchairs positioned in front of the window, so we could just laze around and watch the scenery pass us by. On the wall opposite the window was a huge walk in wardrobe which had our clothes conveniently stored. We were a bit confused as to how our clothes got in there, but didn't get a chance to think too much about it as there was a knock on the door. We went downstairs and opened it letting mum and dad in. They headed straight to the lounge and sat down. Mum took one of the armchairs while dad took the other then they indicated for us to take a seat too. So we hopped onto the sofa and hugged each other. The sofa was so comfortable, I didn't know whether I would ever be able to leave. "I hope you like your rooms because you will be staying here for two weeks?" Dad said, once we were settled. Caleb and I just looked at each other in disbelief then smiled. "Two weeks... wow awesome... but why?" I replied a little confused as to why we deserved this. "Well thanks to what Caleb said to me, I thought I owed you. This is my birthday present to you, not just for this birthday but also for all those others that I missed." Mum said to me. She then turned her attention to Caleb. "It is also a thank you present for you Caleb, as you reminded me as to how important it is for me to spend more time with my son, and you. It also a big thank you for giving me a job, which is going to enable me to spend more time with my son. But the biggest thank you Caleb is for saving my son. I don't know what I would have done without you." Mum was in tears by now, which surprised me as she had seemed pretty strong when we were in hospital. I suppose it was just remembering everything that had brought her to tears. "Thank you so much." I said to my mother, as I got up and gave her a kiss and a cuddle. "Yeah thank you, but you really didn't have..." Caleb replied also giving mum a cuddle. "Yes I did Caleb. It is about time you got what you deserve. You have done so much for me and Dan that you really deserve this, and I don't want to hear any more about it." Mum said, blatantly cutting off Caleb. Caleb was going to say something else, but changed his mind. "Thank you. I'm going to make sure I have a good time for you." Caleb said in the end, giving mum a big kiss. Mum gave him a huge smile. She was actually glad that he didn't protest any more about it. She knew he would have a good time though, as that is why she booked us a trip on the boat. She had found out how fascinated we had been of them, so figured it was a present that couldn't go too wrong. Mum then explained to us that the cruise company wanted to try and speed up boarding process, so they had to check our luggage in last night. She also advised us to check through it and make sure that it was all there. With that she gave us a piece of paper with a list of what they had packed for us. Mum said that we were free to do what we liked while we were here. Provided of course that it wasn't illegal such as gambling in the casino, there wasn't much chance of that as we would have been asked for ID as soon as we entered the place, so she didn't have much to worry about. She told us that when we make a purchase to put it on a tab that she had set up for our room. We let go of mum, as she and dad were going to get some lunch before we set sail, they asked us as to whether we wanted to go with them but Caleb said he just wanted to relax for a bit. So they left without us and Caleb went back to the couch and lay down. I headed over to lay on the couch with Caleb, but noticed that one of the magazine's on the coffee table was about the cruise ship and had all the information about it. I picked it up and lay down with my sexy angel who embraced me in a hug as soon as I hit the couch. I then opened up the magazine and started to read it out aloud. The ship was the MS Allure of the Seas which had been bought out of its usual waters, cruising around the Caribbean to give the south pacific a go, during the off season. It had 16 passenger decks plus 2 decks for the engine room and drive train. It stood tall at 72m above the water line, with a length of 361.6m and a draught of 9.3m. It was powered by 3 x Wärtsilä 12V46D engines producing a whopping 13,860 kW of power. It also had another 3 x Wärtsilä 16V46D engines to go with the first lot, these three produced a staggering 18,480 kW. It cruised the seas at a maximum of 22.6 knots. It could carry a maximum of 5,400 passengers at double occupancy and an extra 2,300 crew. There were a lot of entertainment facilities on board and I was wondering as to how many of them we were going to get to do. There are 5 swimming pools on the ship, one of which features a sloped-entry similar to a beach, and it has two surf simulators. It could be interesting to give it a go I thought. There are also basketball and volleyball courts, mini golf, a zip line, and also theme parks just to name a few. There was also central park which is a real park with living trees and plants. Around the park were a variety of restaurants and boutiques stores. There is even a spa for teens. Although Caleb isn't a teen, but I'm sure we can get him in. Reading all the amenities on the ship was getting Caleb excited and he was starting to bounce up and down on the couch as a result. I was just as excited but was trying my hardest not to show it. We had two whole weeks of doing whatever we wanted aside from the port stops. I still had no idea as to where we were going to, as the magazine hadn't been updated for the south pacific voyages, it still had the stops that the ship would do on its normal run around the Caribbean islands. Caleb got sick of listening to me inform him what there was to do on the boat, so he grabbed the magazine from my hands and threw it on the coffee table. He then lay on top of me and gave me a passionate kiss, while he was caressing my chest with his delicate hands. The touch from his hands was light and sensual, but his kiss was wild and untamed. He wasn't holding back as he had wanted a moment like this since yesterday, before his heart started playing tricks on him again. I was starting to think that he wants me all for himself, but hey I feel the same to. I had wanted this as much as he did. I had been totally gutted when he had started having problems last night, as I knew we weren't going to get quality time alone together till today. I had never expected it to be under the current circumstances though. I was caressing his back as I wildly kissed him back. It was really starting to get hot and steamy. Our make-out session got cut short, when we both jumped a mile, as the ships fog horn blasted. "I think we're on the move," Caleb said excitedly. He rushed to the glass sliding door and threw it open so he could get outside to watch. Feeling disappointed and cold with no longer having Caleb on me, I followed him out the door. He was standing there waving to all the strangers who were probably there to farewell other passengers, so I stood beside him and took hold of the hand of his that wasn't waving, and waved alongside him. It was very slow leaving port and Caleb was getting sick of standing. We couldn't sit on the loungers as we wouldn't have got that good of a view. Caleb decided to go back inside and head upstairs and watch from the armchairs in our bedroom. By the time I made it up the stairs Caleb was in his chair and had it reclined back far enough that he was comfortable but so he could still watch. I took the other seat and reclined it till I was comfortable, when I felt Caleb sit on me. I wrapped my hands around him as he shuffled around till he was comfortable but so I could still see. I couldn't believe how quickly he had changed seats. I wasn't complaining as I was enjoying those wonderful feelings he gives me. We sat like that enthralled in watching the scenery pass us by. As the ship slowly made it way out of port and into the Waitemata harbour we got an excellent view of the city skyline. We could just see the Mt Eden volcano rising up behind the city but the haze was quite thick so it wasn't as vivid as usual. The haze that was plaguing Auckland city wasn't from pollution generated by the city. It was caused by the massive forest fires blazing away around Sydney, Australia. The weather pattern we were in, was bringing some of the smoke particles as well as some ash all the way across the Tasman Sea, which was creating a haze over a lot of the upper North Island. As we glided through the harbour and entered the Hauraki Gulf we watched the seaside suburbs of Auckland pass us by. There were a lot of giant mansions dotted around this part of Auckland and the real estate prices here were astronomical. It was a desirable location being on the harbour but you had to be exceedingly rich these days to be able to afford it. The ship started to pick up a bit more speed as we left the Waitemata harbour and entered the Hauraki Gulf. I was contemplating going outside onto one of the viewing platforms so that I could see the bush clad volcanic dome that it Rangitoto island. But I was far too comfortable with Caleb resting on me and my hands on his crotch. I was starting to realise that whilst we were leaving New Zealand that the portside of the ship was going to be the wrong side, as all the landscape will be on the other side of the boat. But we well get all the scenery when we re-enter the country so I can see it all later. Waiheke Island came into view. The boat threaded its path between Rangitoto and Waiheke islands, as it ventured north into the vast Pacific Ocean. We could vaguely make out the mountainous outline of the Coromandel Peninsular rising up out of the water in the background. Once we had passed the hilly green forest which is Great Barrier Island, there wasn't much else to see except the shimmering dark blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. I just relaxed, enjoying doing absolutely nothing as the cruise ship ramped up to its cruising speed. Caleb was already totally relaxed, enjoying watching the scenery as it passes him by. Well I should say most of him was relaxed, as a result of the way I was holding him, there was most definitely one part of his body that wasn't relaxed. He either didn't notice of didn't care. He was in a world of his own at the moment. I decided to see if I could bring him back to earth, and gave his hard member a tug through his pants. Caleb didn't really react. All he did was spread his legs a little bit more, which gave me easier access to him if I so desired. I had really wanted to thank him for yesterday so I decided to see whether he would let me. I gave his boner a couple more tugs through his pants, before I tried to undo them so I had better access to his prize. I had just unbuttoned the button and unzipped his fly. I then spread the top of his pants apart and because he wasn't wearing any undies I could give his hard member a couple of tugs unobstructed. Caleb moaned in pleasure. "Save it for tonight." Caleb said, as he turned around and gave me a kiss. Reluctantly I released my hold on his wiener and did his pants back up. All the while I was kissing him back. I only listened to him because he had said to leave it till tonight. Otherwise I would have kept going. "We should check off the list your mum gave us." Caleb said breaking the kiss. "Then we should go explore and get some food while we're at it. Coz I'm getting hungry. I really didn't want to let him go, but he was right and the thought of food sent my stomach grumbling. I gave his still hard pecker one last teasing grope as he got up. Caleb had to reposition his hard prick once had stood up, because it was causing him some discomfort. He then went downstairs and brought back the list mum had left us on the coffee table. We worked our way through the list. Our more formal clothes were all hung neatly in the walk-in wardrobe. The more normal clothes were stored in the dresser. I don't think the person who put everything away knew there were two of us, as all our clothes were mixed together. Mum had made sure that we had undies but we didn't bother to make sure they were all there, as we didn't plan on wearing them during our trip. Caleb went downstairs to the bathroom to make sure our toiletries were there. He came back up with a bit of a mischievous smile on his face, but I paid little attention. Caleb then went to check the bedside tables to make sure that the books mum had bought for us were in there. They were. With the list checked off and nothing missing we headed downstairs and out the door. We found the lifts again and slowly made our way through the boat floor by floor. It was going to take an extremely long time, and we weren't going to get through the whole ship today. We got something to eat from the windjammer market which was on the deck directly below us. Of course being kids still, the food we got wasn't the ideal food for lunch. We mostly got lollies and other sugary snacks. I had to tell Caleb off though, as he paid for the food. I don't think he listened, so if he kept this up I might just have to get mum on his case. Needless to say that we were pretty hyped up from the sugar overload. We found a games arcade on the next deck down and burned off some of our energy playing air hockey. Again Caleb paid resulting in another telling off from me. The telling off was quickly forgotten as he kicked my arse in the first game. I regained some composure but still got beaten thoroughly in the second. I finally started to get my game on and the rallies lasted a lot longer, but Caleb still managed to win every game we played. Shit he was good at the game, I thought to myself. After about ten or so games we continued to explore. We wandered around checking out the sights and sounds of the massive vessel. We didn't even make it halfway through the enormous ship before we got tired of walking. I suggested we go down to the park and maybe find a nice restaurant to eat at. Caleb agreed and we headed to the lifts and went down to deck 8 which the park was set on. It was a surreal feeling as we got out of the lifts and found ourselves in a real park, the sort you would expect to find on land, not on a boat in the middle of the ocean. I could smell the trees and plant life and it reminded me of being outdoors. I took hold of Caleb's hand. I like holding his hand, but in this case it was so we didn't lose each other. The place was crowded. It was like a shopping mall on Christmas Eve it was that busy. It was the first real look we got of the other passengers. As you would expect there were a lot of elderly couples on board. But there was still quite a mix of different age groups, although there weren't much in the way of kids. Well not that we could see anyway. It being halfway through the school term was probably the main reason as to why there weren't many kids on board. The reactions we got to holding hands as we walked around the park, was quiet interesting. We could tell the New Zealanders as they just smiled at us after having recognised us from the news. The American and English tourists gave us dirty looks like we were doing something wrong. But the European tourists didn't seem to notice, almost as if it was a common thing from where they lived. I was almost in a trance like state enjoying seeing and smelling plants that I have never seen before. Unsurprisingly all the plant life was exotic, not native to New Zealand. Having never been to a garden centre or even the botanical gardens, all the plants here were totally new to me. Caleb seemed to be enjoying it too. He was looking around and seemed to be taking in everything. Suddenly he pulled me off to the side. Seems like Caleb wasn't just enjoying the park, he had also been on the lookout for the right sort of restaurant. The restaurant he had chosen couldn't have been more perfect. It was a smaller restaurant but had a romantic feel to it. It was dimly lit with fake candles flickering away on the tables. The colours of the place gave a warm and loving feel. It was the sort of place that you wouldn't hesitate to take the love of your life, hence why Caleb pulled me towards it, and we went in. Turns out that we were supposed to book prior to turning up, but thankfully they had a spare table so they were able to fit us in. Again we got some interesting looks from the other passengers in the restaurant. Those that recognised us just smiled, but those who didn't have a clue who we were looked a bit surprised to see two young boys in this sort of place. We got seated in our own private area. It was secluded enough that we couldn't be seen by most of the other patrons, but luckily the couple who were closest to us were also from NZ and recognised us from the news. The couple seemed to be so thrilled to have us seated by them that they came over to have a chat. They were an elderly couple but they still had no problem with us being gay. In fact they raved on about how brave we had been announcing to the country that we were gay, as they knew that at our age it could mean serious trouble. We had a good talk which left me feeling even more in love with Caleb than I was before. I didn't think that was possible until now. It was the things they said about us and the way they said it, and I could see in Caleb's eyes that he too had fallen even more in love with me at the same time We asked the couple if they would like to have dinner with us, you know sort of like a double date. Caleb and I were enjoying them so much that we really did want them to stay. They were a little hesitant to start with as they didn't want to intrude too much. But they did accept our invitation after we both told them that we would love to have their company and hear their story. The elderly man then got up to inform the wait staff that they would now be dinning with us, and then came back and we talked some more. The waitress came over a short time later to take our drinks order, but before we had a chance to order the elderly couple ordered a bottle of champagne for all of us. We heard their story while we were waiting for the drinks to arrive. Their story was really inspiring. They had also known at an early age that they were perfect for each other, but they didn't officially start going out till they were 16. They had technically been together for 60 years if you count the unofficial time that they had been seeing each other. The drinks arrived and the waitress poured us all a glass before leaving the bottle in the middle of the table. The elderly couple proposed a toast to long lasting relationships, and then we all clinked our glasses together, before taking a sip of the beautiful bubbly nectar. The elderly couple then gave us a bit of a warning telling us that our life together wasn't going to be all smooth sailing. But they said that along as we kept on top of our arguments and compromised, then we would have no problem staying together as long as they had, if not even longer. The night was a blur, but in a good way. We both felt the love that the elderly couple had for each other, and it gave us a real good feeling that we to could be them one day. They, I think, also felt the love that emanated from Caleb and me towards each other. It was just so nice being with someone, who we didn't know, but who could relate to the way we felt about each other. I also think that they were enjoying being able to share their experiences with a couple who were going down the same path that they had, all those years ago. Once we had finished his dinner Caleb excused himself so he could go to the toilet, the elderly man also did the same. I really didn't take much notice, until they came back that is. Caleb had yet again paid with his own money for tea. He had also paid for the elderly couple. The man had tried to argue with Caleb but knew he wasn't going to win in the end, so eventually he gave up trying. He thought that he would at least be able to pay for the champagne but Caleb wouldn't let that happen either. The man had to act as Caleb's guardian in order for the boy to pay for it as Caleb was underage, and the old man didn't want any more arguments. They both gave Caleb a huge kiss and cuddle saying thank you to him. But they then demanded that we both dine with them again tomorrow but this time they would pay. They also wouldn't take no for an answer. I agreed on behalf of both of us, as I knew Caleb would not want them to pay for him, so he would probably start a little argument. I still haven't got through to him enough, I thought to myself. The elderly couple said that they would organise everything and that they would see us tomorrow. Then they gave us both a kiss and a cuddle before they left. I wasn't quite sure how I felt, about how Caleb had treated us. He was supposed to book everything up against the room and not be paying for things himself. Mum will have a hissy fit when she finds out. But then again I was happy that he had paid for our guests, as I'm not sure how mum would feel about us having booked that up to our room. I gave in. I told him what I wanted to say through a huge passionate kiss on the lips. Given we were in a restaurant still I kept it pretty short, but it did feel really good. We decide it best to head back to our room, so we got up out of our seats and left the restaurant. ************ Comments are always welcome at (pennywise3636@gmail.com).
