Brothers, Friends, & Lovers Chapter 9 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jason swerved quickly to the right, narrowly avoiding a head-on collision with the tractor trailer that was bearing down on him. As he straightened out the wheels and centered himself in his own lane again, his heart was pounding furiously from the scare he'd just had. With both hands on the wheel now, he drove along, much more carefully, as the saturated area in his pants where the tip of his penis had lain during his orgasm, became cold and uncomfortable. "Guess I won't be masturbating while I drive anymore," Jason thought to himself, wrly. "Or at least I'll keep my eyes open from now on!" A short time later, Jason pulled into town. As he drove past the high school, he saw all kinds of flashing lights, and a helicopter was just lifting off from the soccer fields in back of it. "Wonder what that's all about?" he thought to himself, as he continued on toward his house. When he got home, Jason was surprised to find the house dark, and nobody at home. He'd figured Luke might be out, but he expected his parents would be home. There was no note, and no messages on the answering machine either. Alone, Jason unloaded his car, carrying his baggage and boxes of belongings up to his room. It only took him a few minutes to unpack and put things away. Afterward, as the front of his left hip was still sticky and uncomfortable where he'd shot his load of semen in his pants earlier, he decided to take a quick shower. It had been over an hour since he'd masturbated as he drove up route 100, so, as he washed it, his dick got stiff again, and was once more ready for action. smiling to himself, Jason soaped his member up, and began sliding his right hand up and down his slippery, stiff rod. Within a minute or two, his head was tilted back, his eyes were closed, and he was breathing heavily through his slightly open mouth, as his hand continued flying up and down his dick. Then, with an audible gasp, his body spasmed, and a glob of cum shot out the end of his hardon, landing on the shower curtain in front of him. Continuing to pump his penis, Jason fired several more loads of cum onto the shower curtain, before his orgasm ended. Smiling, and feeling much more relaxed, Jason washed his sperm off the shower curtain, then rinsed himself off, using the hand-held shower head to make sure his genitals and asshole were rinsed clean. Jason dried himself, then went to his room and put on a clean pair of jeans and a T-shirt. When he got downstairs, nobody was home yet. It was getting late, and he began to wonder where everyone was. It was unlike them to all be out so late, especially without letting him know where they'd be, since they knew he was coming home. Hungry, Jason went out to the kitchen and made himself a ham and cheese sandwich. He helped himself to some chips, and a bottle of his father's beer, then went and sat down in the living room to watch some TV while he ate. As he was finishing his sandwich, the phone rang. He jumped up and went to answer it. "Hello?" Jason said, picking up the phone. "JASON! Thank God!" his father's voice came loudly through the earpiece. "I was just calling to leave you a message. I'm glad you're there." "I got in almost an hour ago," Jason said. "Where are you guys? Where's Luke?" "Burlington," Mr. Anderson said. "We're at the hospital. Luke's been in an accident." "OH MY GOD! Is he OK???" Jason asked, as his stomach began to contract. There was a pause, then Mr. Anderson said, "he's been injured, and they're working on him. Maybe you'd better get over here though. But drive carefully!" "I'm on my way!" Jason yelled, hanging up. He ran upstairs, and grabbed his wallet and keys, then raced back downstairs, stopping long enough to shut off the TV. Then, he ran out the door, hopped into his car and headed for Burlington. * * * When Jason arrived at the hospital, he ran directly into the ER. A nurse took him to a treatment room, where he found his mother sitting in a chair, staring at the clock on the wall, almost catatonically. His father was pacing in circles. Luke wasn't there. "Where's Luke?" Jason burst out, as he walked in. "Jason!" Mr. Anderson said, rushing over and uncharacteristically wrapping his arms around him in a hug. "He's having an MRI," Mr. Anderson said, as he released Jason from the hug. "How is he? What happened?" Jason asked, as he stepped over to his mother, squatted down and kissed her on the cheek. Mrs. Anderson looked up then, and smiled slightly at Jason, and rubbed his cheek with her finger. She appeared to still be crying. Mr. Anderson told Jason about the beer party the boys had had in the woods, and about the accident, and how Luke had been flown to Burlington in a helicopter. "OH MY GOD!" Jason said. "So what do the doctors say?" "Nothing as yet," his father said. "We're still waiting to see what the MRI says. He's clearly got a head injury, and they're not sure if he broke his neck or not." "Holy Shit!" Jason said. Just then, a doctor walked into the room. "We've just done a full body MRI, concentrating primarily on Luke's head and neck. After reviewing it, we've determined that he doesn't have a broken neck, but that there's a lot of swelling around the vertebrae, which may cause some temporary paralysis. He's received a pretty good head injury though. There's blood pooling inside his skull from it, which is putting pressure on the brain, which might be causing the prolonged state of unconsciousness he's experiencing. We're going to have to put a shunt through the skull and drain the excess blood off to relieve the pressure on the brain. It's actually a rather minor surgical procedure. He's on his way up to the OR now. A nurse will be by with the appropriate forms for you to sign," the doctor said. "Is this absolutely necessary?" Herb asked. "Absolutely! The fluid MUST be drawn off the brain!" the doctor said. "If it isn't, we could lose him." Herb was visibly shaken by this, and Marge began sobbing into a kleenex. "What are his chances for recovery?" Herb asked, shakily. "We really can't say at this point. Luke has sustained a major head injury. We cannot predict whether he will recover or not, and if he does, whether or not there will be any residual effects. I'm sorry. In all honesty, at this point, we can't even say for sure that he's going to pull through at all. The next 72 hours are crucial. If he makes it through them OK, then he'll most likely live. What kind of brain damage might have been done though, is completely uncertain. I'm very sorry. We're doing everything possible to help your boy. I've got to go prep for surgery now." The doctor said, afterwhich he turned and left, leaving all three of the Andersons staring at one another in shock and grief. * * * As Luke was being prepped for surgery, and the Andersons were waiting in a lounge near the Operating Room, Brian was lying on his bed at home sobbing. Immediately after the accident, thinking Luke might be dead, but praying he was just knocked out, Brian had used his cell phone to call the paramedics. In the back of his mind, he knew he was going to be in big trouble, but all that mattered was helping Luke. After he'd told the dispatcher where they were, he hung up, so he could call his parents. While Brian dialed his house, Hank told all the guys that no matter what happened, they shouldn't admit to smoking pot. It was bad enough they'd been drinking, he said. The boys, including Brian, all nodded in agreement. When his father answered the phone, Brian started sobbing hysterically, and screaming for his father to come help. It had taken a minute for Mr. Abbott to get Brian to tell him where he was, but as soon as he was able to get him to tell him they were behind the school in the woods, he and his wife ran to their car and drove to the school. They arrived just at the paramedics and police were arriving. Driving around the back of the school, they saw two of their son's friends jumping up and down yelling by a dirt road that led into the woods. Mr. Abbott drove across the field to the edge of the woods, and parked. He and his wife got out and ran over to the boys. "What happened? Where's Brian?" Mr. Abbott yelled at them. "We were driving out of the woods. He hit a hole and Luke was thrown into a tree. They're down there," one boy said, pointing down the dirt road. The Abbotts ran up the dirt road into the woods then. They were horrified when they came upon the scene of the accident. Luke lay motionless, in a heap at the base of a huge tree. He looked dead. Brian was standing nearby, sobbing yet, trying his best to answer one of the policemen's questions. When he saw his parents, Brian bolted to his father and threw his arms around him. He buried his face against his father's chest and began sobbing hysterically. While the Abbotts attempted to calm their son down, the paramedics began working on Luke, and the police began questioning the other boys, who were also all shaken and crying. The paramedics determined Luke was alive, and with extreme caution, got him on a back board, with a neck brace. They'd radioed ahead for a chopper to land in back of the school to fly Luke to the hospital in Burlington. In a relatively quick amount of time, Luke had been loaded onto the chopper, and it had lifted off. A police officer had been sent to the Andersons to inform them, and another police officer had called all the other boys' parents, except for the Abbotts, who were there already. The boys who hadn't been driving, were released to their parents, after they each received lectures from the police about underage drinking. Hank and Brian were both cited for DWI though. They were told that they'd most likely lose their licenses, and have to go through an alcoholism program for teens. Hank and his parents left. Hank's father drove Hank's car, which he'd already told Hank was going to be sold. The Abbotts had to wait for a tow truck to come and winch Brian's truck out of the hole it had fallen into. While they waited, Brian's father began lecturing his son about drinking and driving, and the fact he'd been drinking at all. Miserably Brian listened without saying a word. His father told him he was going to get rid of Brian's truck, whether he lost his license or not, and that he was grounded for the entire summer. Brian looked at his father with tears streaming down his face and said, "I don't care. I'm never going to drive ever again! And I'm never going to drink again either!" Then he started sobbing again. "That's enough for now," Mrs. Abbott said to her husband, as she took Brian in her arms and held him as he wept. Mr. Abbott looked a little sorry himself for having come down so hard on his son, who obviously was badly shaken by the accident, and scared about Luke. He put his hand on Brian's shoulder and gave him a loving squeeze. * * * Luke made it through his surgery OK, and was moved into intensive care. There was a shunt sticking out of the right side of his head, behind his ear, which was inserted through his skull. There was a tube attached to it, which ran to a bag of bloody fluid that hung on the side of his bed. Luke didn't regain consciousness though after the anesthesia wore off. The doctors said he was in a coma, and they had no idea when, or if, he'd come out of it. The Andersons were told they should go home and get some rest. Mrs. Anderson refused, saying she wasn't leaving the hospital as long as Luke was a patient there. Mr. Anderson decided to stay with her, at least for the time being. They sent Jason home to get some sleep, and pick up some things for them. So, about 4:30 in the morning, Jason left for home. When he got home, Jason found the answering machine blinking. There were a couple calls from concerned neighbors, and a couple of the parents of the boys who'd been with Luke in the woods. There was also a call from Brian. "I-I'm s-so sorry!" Brian's voice came over the machine. "If there's anything I can do, please call. I'm praying for Luke!" There was a lot of snuffling, then "P-please let me know how he is!" Jason made a list of who called, intending to call them back later in the morning before he left for the hospital again. Then he went upstairs and collapsed into his bed. He didn't think he'd get any sleep, but he was so exhausted from all the driving he did, and the stress over Luke, that he fell asleep, fully clothed, as soon as his head hit the pillow. * * * The clock on Jason's night stand said 9:25 when he opened his eyes to the phone ringing next to him. Thinking it might be news about Luke, he grabbed the phone off the hook, before the machine picked up. "Hello!" he mumbled. It turned out to be a neighbor who'd read the story in the news. Jason filled her in on what had happened, and on Luke's condition, then hung up. Although he'd only had a few hours sleep, Jason was wide awake then. He laid in his bed a few minutes, thinking about what he had to do before going back to the hospital. As he thought, his hand absently began fondling his morning hardon through his jeans. After a minute or so, he realized he was masturbating himself. He wished Dan was there to suck him off. He really could use a good blow job. Jason got up off the bed and quickly stripped completely, then laid back down. Rolling onto his side, he opened the drawer in his night stand and pulled out a bottle of hand lotion. Jason poured some lotion into his hand, then laying back into his pillows, he slathered the lotion onto his rigid dick. Then, he began sliding his hand up and down his pole. Jason masturbated a few minutes, stroking slowly up and down his slick dick, as visions of Dan passed through his mind. The phone rang again, as he stroked his cock. Figuring it was most likely another neighbor, he let the machine pick up, and kept on pumping his dick. Jason paused for a moment, long enough to wipe a small glob of lotion from his cock with the middle finger of his left hand, then he drew his knees up a little to his sides, and reached for his ass crack. His finger slid easily between his cheeks, drilling down immediately to his anal pucker, which he began massaging, as he continued jacking off. Within seconds, Jason felt his orgasm beginning to build. He kept on stroking his dick, and fingering his hole. A few seconds later, his body tensed up, and with a grunt, he felt his asshole tightening under his fingertip, and a huge rope of cum shot out of his dick. It arced through the air, and landed on the center of his chest. Jason kept on pumping his love tool, and fingering his hole, and by the time his orgasm had ended, his torso was covered with streams and globs of his semen. When it was over, Jason pulled his finger from between his cheeks. Tentatively he sniffed it. It smelled of a combination of hand lotion, and his own musky anal odor. Smiling, Jason relaxed a few minutes, still stroking his now softening dick. Eventually, he stopped, and got up and ran across the hall to the bathroom, as the globs of cum on his torso began to run down his body. He jumped in the shower and turned it on, letting the spray wash the cum off of him. As he stood there under the water, he suddenly had to pee, so he relaxed his body, and let his pee flow. He pissed for some time. When he was finished, he waited while the water from the showerhead washed all of his urine and semen down the drain, then he got wet all over and washed himself well. Jason dried off, then went back to his room and dressed. Afterward, he went downstairs and had some breakfast. While he was eating he listened to the messages on the answering machine. There were a couple from neighbors, and one from his father. There was no change, Luke was resting comfortably, and Jason was to bring their prescription medicines to them along with the other things they'd wanted him to get. After he ate, Jason called everyone, but Brian back. Then he quickly packed a duffel with everything his parents had asked for. He packed a few things for himself too, figuring he might stay at the hospital a while as well, then he locked up and ran out to his car. First Jason gassed his car up, then he drove over to the Abbotts' house. * * * Mr. Abbott answered the door when Jason rang the bell. He was surprised to see Jason. "How's your brother?" he asked first thing, as he ushered Jason inside. Jason gave the details of Luke's condition. Mr. Abbott said he hoped it would all work out, and to keep them informed. Then he offered to do anything he could to help. Jason noticed Brian standing at the top of the stairs then, looking guiltily down at him. "Hey! How are you doing?" Jason said, smiling up at him. Tears welled in Brian's eyes, as he descended the stairs. "I'm SO sorry," Brian said, as he walked up to Jason, his face hanging down, so he didn't look into Jason's eyes. "Hey!" Jason said, lifting Brian's chin up with his finger, so Brian had to look at him. "Nobody's mad at you. Accidents happen. We all know that you didn't mean for anyone to get hurt. We also know that you weren't the only one who was drinking. So, yeah, you had something to do with it, but so did Luke, and Hank, and all the other guys too!" Jason said. "But I was the driver!" Brian wailed, as tears escaped his eyes and began running down his cheeks. Jason smiled slightly and drew Brian to him, wrapping his arms around the boy. "But you didn't tell Luke to get drunk too. He did that on his own, and if he hadn't, he wouldn't have ridden in back of your truck, and he wouldn't have let you drive either. So in reality, it's his own fault!" Jason said. Brian pressed his face into Jason's shoulder and broke down crying then, as Jason stood holding him. As Brian's parents both looked on, Jason thought they both looked a little relieved that Jason wasn't holding Brian solely responsible. Jason held Brian, softly stroking his back, until he'd cried himself out. "C-can I go see him?" Brian asked. Jason explained then about the coma Luke was in. Brian looked scared, and on the verge of tears again, but asked if he could go with Jason anyway. "It's OK with me," Jason said. "But, I might be there a while." "He's grounded anyway," Mr. Abbott interjected. "DAD! This shouldn't count! It's not like I'm doing this for fun!" Brian, complained. Mrs. Abbott pulled her husband aside a moment, and whispered something to him. "OK, as far as visiting Luke goes, or doing anything you can to help the Anderson's, you aren't grounded, but everything else you are!" Mr. Abbott said. "Thank you," Brian said, to his parents. Then he looked at Jason and said "Would it be OK if I came with you then?" "Sure," Jason said. "Give me a minute to brush my teeth, and I'll be ready," Brian said, and he ran upstairs. Minutes later, Jason and Brian were on their way to Burlington. * * * As they drove along, Jason asked Brian for the exact details of what had happened the previous evening. Hesitantly, at first, Brian told him what had happened, only leaving out the knowledge that they'd been smoking pot as well. When Brian finished, Jason leaned over and sniffed his denim jacket. Brian looked guiltily at him. "And...." Jason prodded. Looking at the car floor, Brian muttered, "there was pot at the party too. But please, don't tell anyone! We're all in enough trouble as it is." Jason thought a minute, then replied, "well, I'll keep that to myself, unless it's important information that would help Luke get better - although I doubt it will be." "Thanks Jase," Brian said. Jason reached over and mussed Brian's blond mop up, causing Brian to smile a little, finally. * * * When the two boys walked into the ICU where Luke was, they found a doctor, two nurses, and Mr. & Mrs. Anderson clustered around Luke's bed. Luke was laying rigid in bed, with his eyes closed, but he was shaking and trembling as if he was having a fit of some kind. "What's happening?" Jason asked, suddenly getting scared. "He's having another seizure. He's been having them all morning," Mr. Anderson said, turning to look at Jason. "What the Hell are you doing here?" he snarled, when he saw Brian. "Didn't you cause enough problems last night?" "HERB!" Mrs. Anderson said sharply, as she turned and saw Brian. Jason's mouth hung open in surprise. Poor Brian dissolved into tears and ran from the room. "You didn't have to do that!" Jason berated his father. "It was an accident! Sure, he was driving and had been drinking, but Luke was drunk too! If he hadn't been drinking, he'd never have gotten in the truck with Brian, and he'd never have let Brian drive. Nobody meant for anyone to get hurt. Brian's feeling guilty enough!" Mr. Anderson looked at Jason for a moment, then said "Fine! I'll apologize when I see him again!" Jason turned and left the room, heading in the direction Brian had gone in. He found him in a small lounge down the hallway, all hunched up on the couch, sobbing. Jason sat down next to Brian, and put his arm around the boy. "He said to say he was sorry, and that he's going to apologize when we go back," Jason said. "Can't go back!" Brian said, still crying. "It's true!" "No it's not!" Jason said. Then he spent the next few minutes giving Brian the same speech he'd just given his father, only embellishing it more, so as to be convincing to Brian. Eventually, Brian stopped crying and pulled himself together. Jason talked to him some more about the situation. Brian still felt guilty, but finally appeared to realize he wasn't the only one at fault, which seemed to make him feel a little better. Just as the two were getting up to go back to Luke's room, Herb appeared. Mrs. Anderson had lectured him and sent him to apologize to Brian, which he did. After a couple minutes, all three of them went back to Luke's room. "They gave him stronger anti-seizure medicine, which they're hoping will work," said Mrs. Anderson, as they walked back in. Seeing Brian, Mrs. Anderson went over to him and hugged him. "How are you doing sweetheart?" she asked. Brian started to tear up again, but Mrs. Anderson said, "uh uh uh, we're not blaming you for what happened. We heard how it happened, and it was an accident. Although, NONE of you should have been drinking! We'll all discuss that once Luke's better! Now, we just have to get Luke healthy again!" Brian snuffled and said "Thank you Mrs. Anderson." "You're welcome honey," she said. "You can go up to his bed if you want." Hesitantly, Brian walked up to Luke's bed and looked down at him. As he looked at Luke, tears welled anew in Brian's eyes, as he croaked "I'm so sorry Luke!" Brian sank down to his knees, and sobbed again, burying his face on the mattress next to Luke. Mrs. Anderson tugged on her husband's sleeve, and pulled him from the room. Jason went over and knelt beside Brian, and wrapped an arm around him. After a couple minutes, Brian got control of himself again. The two stood up and gazed down at Luke. "Hey Bro!" Jason said. "Hear you had a hell of a party without me last night!" Brian smiled a little. "Won't be doing that again," he said, ruefully. As they talked to Luke, Jason took Luke's hand in his and held it. A couple minutes later, he became aware that the doctor and nurses were standing a few feet behind them, staring at a monitor that was hooked up to Luke's head. "Are we doing something wrong?" Jason asked, quickly. "No, not at all," the doctor said. "We're just watching your brother's brain waves. There's been relatively little activity, until just now. I think he's aware that you're here, and it's exciting him. That's a good sign. Maybe there's less brain damage than we thought. However, I only want you to stay a couple minutes longer, then tell him good-bye and that you'll be back later. Tell him to try and rest. He needs to rest now, and it's quite possible he can hear you." Jason watched the monitor the doctor was watching then, and each time he spoke to Luke or squeezed his hand, the monitor showed sharp peaks indicating brain activity. A couple minutes later, the nurses asked Jason and Brian to leave. They told Luke to rest, and they'd be back. As Jason leaned over and kissed Luke gently on the forehead, the brainwave monitor showed the strongest brain activity the doctor had seen. He was smiling as Jason and Brian walked out of the room. Excitedly, Jason told his parents what had happened. They too were elated. Mrs. Anderson went in for a moment and spoke with the doctor. He had her talk to Luke a moment, the monitor again showed brain activity, although not quite as strong as when Jason was in the room. When Herb tried it a couple minutes later, there was less still, which put Herb in a sour mood. Jason and Brian stayed for a few more hours, visiting Luke each hour for a few minutes. Each time they were in his room, Luke's brain activity rose. Specifically when Jason was with him. The doctor told him he hoped he'd visit his brother often. Jason assured him he would. And he did. * * * Mrs. Anderson wouldn't leave her son's side. Mr. Anderson however, after a few days, was getting nervous about his job. Mrs. Anderson finally convinced him that he might as well go to work. She told him she'd call him if there was a change. Jason drove to the hospital each morning and stayed until late at night, visiting his brother, and helping keep his mother's mood "up". As the days went by, Luke experienced more and more seizures. Finally, the doctor scheduled another MRI. This MRI revealed that there was a sliver of wood, probably from the tree, lodged in the back of Luke's brain. The doctors had no explanation as to why this didn't show up on the first MRI, but decided that Luke needed surgery to remove it. They felt that if it wasn't removed, he would remain comatose, and possibly get worse, as the seizure activity seemed to be getting worse. Luke had surgery two days later, after the doctors were able to schedule a specialist to fly in from Boston to do the procedure. The procedure took hours, and the Andersons waited in the lounge on pins and needles. Luke pulled through the surgery though, with flying colors. Afterward, he still didn't wake up though. Stubbornly, he remained comatose, after the point that doctors felt he should have come out of it. After a couple days, Herb went back to work again. Jason continued driving to Burlington for the day each day. Eventually, the doctors decided that the shunt in Luke's head could be removed, and Luke could be moved to a regular room, since, physically, he was out of major danger. * * * One day, after Mrs. Anderson had been at the hospital for over two weeks straight, her sister came to visit, and insisted that she leave the hospital for a couple hours and go to lunch. Jason insisted that she should too, saying he'd sit with Luke the whole time. "I just don't want him to wake up alone!" Marge said, sadly. "I'll stay right with him," Jason promised. So Marge waited for Jason to make a trip to the bathroom, and get himself a sandwich, then once he returned, she went with her sister. Jason settled down and turned on the TV on low, and ate his sandwich. Afterward, he turned off the TV and sat looking at his brother. He began talking to him, telling him that it was time to wake up, that the family couldn't take anymore of his stubborness. Luke's brain waves danced the whole time Jason spoke. Jason kept on talking. At one point he stood up and threatened to tickle Luke to death like he used to when they were younger. He even tried to tickle Luke's ribs a little. Luke's brain waves seemed stronger, but still he didn't wake. "Maybe I should rip the catheter out of you and jerk you off!" Jason said, ruefully, reaching down and giving his brother's crotch a gentle squeeze. Luke's brain waves spiked higher than ever, but still Luke laid there. Frustrated to the point of tears, Jason sat down and laid his head on his arms, on the edge of his brother's bed. As he sniffled quietly, he suddenly felt a hand resting on his head. He looked up, expecting his mother had returned. Instead, he found Luke's hand on his head, and Luke's eyes were open. He was staring at Jason. "OH MY GOD! LUKEY!" Jason cried, grinning from ear to ear, and jumping up. Luke smiled slightly, and tried to speak, but he couldn't. His mouth and throat were parched. Jason quickly grabbed a cup of water and held it to his lips, so he could drink a little. "Thanks," Luke rasped, after he'd had enough to wet his mouth. "How do you feel?" Jason asked. "Lousy," Luke said, after a minute. "Wh-what happened?" As Jason pressed the nurse's call button, he told Luke what had happened after the accident. "Accident?" Luke asked, obviously, confused. "What's the last thing you remember?" Jason asked. "You squeezing my dick," Luke said. Jason grinned, "Not that! I was trying to wake you up! I mean, before that." Luke thought a while, then finally said, "going to meet some friends with Bri." "Do you remember getting drunk and smoking?" Jason asked. Luke thought a minute, then softly said, "yes." "Do you remember riding in the back of Brian's truck?" Jason asked. "No.... I remember pissing on the fire. That's all. Nothing after that." Luke said. By the time Jason had given Luke a nut-shell version of the events afterward, the nurse had finally shown up. She was elated to see Luke awake and paged the doctor to Luke's room. Then she began examining Luke. Everything seemed OK. The doctor was elated too, when he saw Luke awake. He examined him too, then said he'd be back in a while, and to not let Luke get too tired. Luke complained about being hungry then. Jason asked the nurse if there was anything he could eat. She brought him some jello. As Luke tried to eat it though, he kept missing his mouth. Jason called the nurse, and she spoke to the doctor again. He returned and did another quick exam. He determined that Luke's would need to be retaught some of his motor skills, but said that they'd come back after some therapy. The nurse brought Luke another dish of jello, which Jason fed to him this time. A short time later, Mrs. Anderson walked back in and let out a shriek when she saw Luke awake, smiling at her. * * * Later that evening, Jason called Brian with the good news. He was elated, and asked Jason if he could ride up to the hospital with him the next day. Jason agreed to pick him up after breakfast. Jason and his mother left the room when Brian visited Luke the next day, so they could talk privately. Brian broke down sobbing, telling Luke how sorry he was. Luke took his hand and held it a couple minutes, and told him it wasn't his fault. The two had a long conversation, and finally, some of the guilt Brian was feeling, lifted, but not all of it though. * * * Luke's recovery progressed steadily from then on. Within a few days, he'd been moved to a rehabilitation center for two weeks of intense therapy, during which he was re-taught those motor skills he'd lost. Finally, five weeks after the accident, Luke came home. He looked at the stairs up to his room somewhat dubiously, as he hadn't been doing so well on them at the rehab center. "Hold on," Jason said. He scooped Luke up in his arms, and carried him upstairs. "Jason! He needs to learn how to do that for himself," Mr. Anderson said. "Not right this minute Herb, he's had a tiring day now, and should rest," Mrs. Anderson said. "Thank you Jason. Put him in bed, it's all ready for him." "Thanks," Luke sighed, as Jason lowered him onto his bed. "It's good to be home!" Jason grinned. * * * After the first couple days Luke was home, he and Jason tried to convince their mother that it was OK for her to go back to work. Jason volunteered to play nurse for Luke, and to help him with his exercises. Mr. Anderson approved, and argued the point with his wife, and in the end, she acquiesced and began working again the following day. Jason spent all day, everyday, with his brother. He helped him take care of himself, and helped him with his exercises. After a couple weeks went by, Luke seemed almost completely back to normal, although, he'd begun experiencing headaches, that began with a sudden sharp pain, usually after strenuous activity. Jason noticed the headaches, when Luke winced a few times. Luke asked Jason not to mention them to his parents though. Jason said he wouldn't, but watched Luke like a hawk after that. * * * Although Brian was still officially grounded because of the accident, his parents did allow him to visit Luke a couple times a week, as it seemed fair that he should be allowed to help with Luke's recovery, and visits from Brian seemed to cheer him up considerably, Mrs. Anderson had told Mrs. Abbott. If their parents had realized what the boys were up to, Brian wouldn't have been allowed to visit! The first time Brian visited, Jason left the two boys alone in Luke's room for a while. When he came back later on to check on Luke, the door was shut, and he heard the unmistakeable sounds of his brother, moaning with pleasure. Grinning to himself, Jason had gone back downstairs. Meanwhile, inside Luke's room, Brian had Luke lying back in his pillows, and was slowly and sensually sucking his dick. It didn't take very long at all before Luke felt his orgasm starting to build. "That's the way Bri!" Luke encouraged Brian, whose blond head was bobbing up and down in his crotch. Luke's orgasm built to a crescendo, as Brian continued sucking up and down his rod, then suddenly, with a gasp, Luke flooded Brian's mouth with his seminal fluid. Brian swallowed greedily, just in time to receive another mouthful, as Luke spasmed and shot another load. Luke coated Brian's tonsils 6 or 7 times, before his orgasm finally ended. When it was over though, and Luke relaxed back into his pillows, he got another sharp pain in his head, and a headache set in. "Damn! You never came so much before!" Brian cried, smiling at his friend. "Seems laying around like this, makes me juicier!" Luke said, as he rubbed his head where the pain was located. After a few minutes, Luke wanted to suck Brian off, but Brian told him 'no', that he didn't want him to exert himself. Because of his headache, Luke didn't argue the point. Instead, he watched as Brian laid down next to him and jerked off. When he was finished, Brian's belly was coated with globs of cum. Luke grinned, and reached over and scooped some of his cum off his belly, with his finger, and licked it off his finger. "Mmmm, Still tasty as ever!" Luke said, smiling. * * * A few days later, Jason and Luke were outside in the driveway. Luke was practicing shooting some hoops. As Jason retrieved a rebounded ball, Luke suddenly fell to the ground, seizing! "Fuck!" Jason cried, and threw himself on the ground next to Luke. "Try to relax, and don't be scared. It'll be over with in a minute, and you'll be fine," he said, as he positioned himself under Luke's head and shoulders, in an attempt to keep Luke from hitting his head on the driveway. When it was over, Luke looked at Jason, terrified, and said "What the fuck just happened to me?" "You had a seizure," Jason said. "But..." Luke said, looking at Jason with huge eyes. "You had them all the time at the hospital when you were in your coma. You just don't remember me." Jasons said. Then, Jason helped Luke get inside. He had him lie down on the couch for a while. As the two talked quietly, Luke said, "Please don't tell mom and dad! I don't want them to worry!" "Your health comes first!" Jason said, as he picked up the phone and called his mother at work. After Jason hung up, he was surprised to find Luke had fallen asleep. * * * The next day, the Andersons took Luke back to the doctor's for an examination. The doctor said that seizures were something that occurred sometimes after an injury like Luke had experienced, but that they usually went away after awhile. He did say that Luke couldn't drive though until he'd gone a year without having another one. Luke was really pissed at Jason for telling anyone after he heard that. Unfortunately, Luke began having seizures everyday after that, sometimes as many as 4-5 a day. He realized then that he wouldn't have been able to hide them from his parents for that long anyway, and he stopped being mad at Jason. The doctor finally gave Luke some medicine that seemed to stop his seizures. * * * Just as Luke finally seemed to be fully recovered, summer vacation ended, and Luke and Brian began had to go back to school. It would be their last year in high school, and although they both didn't really want to be in school anymore, the prestige of finally being seniors excited them somewhat. Jason returned to school as well. This would be his senior year at college. He faced it with mixed emotions. He was looking forward to being with Dan again for the year. But, he had no idea what lay in store for him once they graduated. He knew he'd have to get a job finally, and wondered what kind of job he'd get. He also wondered where he'd be living. Most of all though, he wondered what would happen to his and Dan's relationship... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The next chapter in this series will be published shortly.
