				Author's Note

This is a rewritten version of my story the Castaway Hotel.  I rewrote it,
in order to develop the characters a little more fully and to address some
issues the readers have pointed out to me along the way.  I have also taken
the liberty of realigning some of the chapters, to better fit the
storyline.  I hope you enjoy my effort, and if you are new to this story,
welcome to the Castaway Hotel.  This book starts during the fall of 1997
and ends the summer of 1999.
