Date: Fri, 04 Jul 2003 23:53:43 -0700 (PDT) From: Trevor Stewart Subject: Devin's Dream Comes True Part 5 Hey guys, I just want to say thanks to everyone who has read my story. Also more thanks to the people who have made comments about my story. I am terribly sorry that I have not gotten to it because the last few months of school were awful and everything else. Hey, summer's here. The same disclaimers are applicable here as they are anywhere else, blah, blah, blah... It's now the morning after Devin's vivid fantasy. Chapter 5- Coleman woke up from his beauty sleep. It was another beautiful, warm, late summer day. The birds were chirping and the sun was streaming into Coleman's bedroom. He looked at his clock, it was 7:15. This low groan came from Coleman because he knew he had to spend another beautiful day at band camp instead of spending it outside with his friends. Instead of getting out of the bed, he pulled the sheets over his head and snoozed off again. A little while later, Coleman heard his door pounding. Now he knew that the fun and games were over. He lethargically rose out of his bed and went to the door. He was not surprised when his mother appeared behind the door. "Good morning, sleepyhead, come on let's go," Coleman's mom said this while she rubbed Coleman's beautiful hair, "You might think you're getting too old for this, but I think you're still adorable." Coleman yelled, "Mom! Don`t embarrass me!" "That's what I'm talking about. We`re leaving soon." Coleman slowly walked into the bathroom and stripped of his boxers and t-shirt that he wore while he slept. He saw his naked body, and was disappointed because he knew that his boy Devin had a much better looking body. The sun beaming down on his beautiful, boyish body that was built oh so well from swimming and running. Coleman could imagine Devin in a tight Speedo, diving from the board into the pool. Coleman had the temptation of jacking off with the image of Devin in a Speedo before going into the shower. However, he would not have enough time, and he was disappointed because he already missed Devin. But he did look on the brighter side, he would have more fun with a better looking boy on Thursday. He grinned to his reflection in the mirror. Devin walked to the inside of the high school from where his mother dropped him off. He slouched while he walked because he was still frustrated that his fantasies were not happening to him for real. He needed someone to release his load instead of his hand, even if it was his ex Rachel. However, he knew that he would see the boy who loved him in his fantasies shortly. Devin was about to enter the school when he heard a car door slam. He wanted to see who it was, to his delight it was his boy Coleman. He saw Coleman running right up to him. Devin dropped his items for band. When Coleman was within reach, Devin had his arms out and hugged him with great force, because he missed him so much. Coleman asked, "Hey, how's my boy doing?" Devin replied, "Nothing my boy, I miss you." "I miss you too, Devin. What did you do last night?" The boys let go of each other because it was becoming uncomfortable talking to each other. "Not really much. After I got picked up, my mom and I went to the grocery store and we went home. It was pretty boring because most of my friends were out still enjoying their summer and I was stuck home doing nothing except talking on IM and practicing my music." "That's too bad. Do you want to go to my house afterwards so you can have fun?" "That's an incentive my boy," Devin laughed, "Of course I can, I just have to tell my mom." "Yeah that's cool. Do you know where I live?" "No, I really don't." "I live on Newfields Road." Immediately, Devin`s face lit up like a light bulb, "Oh, I know where you live, I live on Senyar Farm. You live in the same development as me! I can basically walk to your house." "Sure do, I would think that we would have met each other personally sometime before this." "I know, it is strange, but we are together now!" "Sweet, we'll have a blast this afternoon. Hey, I`ll race ya to the band room!" Coleman hauled ass. "Damn it," Devin muttered to himself, "I have to pick up my shit!" He picked up his items like his water and drumsticks and ran as fast as he could to the band room. Coleman and Devin arrived at the band room when the director, Mr. Amundsen, stopped them in their tracks. "Now boys," he said, "I know it's difficult to be here on time, but you must everyday, it's important. Now go retrieve your instruments" "Ok, Mr. Amundsen!" The boys said in unison and they ran off. "What a bitch he is, Coleman!" Devin said. "Yeah, ya think Devin?! How am I suppose to go four years with this?" Devin put his arm around Coleman's shoulders, "Well you know you have me for three of those years!" "Yeah, that would help Devin," jokingly Coleman pushed him away. "Let's go get our instruments." As Coleman said this, he looked out of the window and saw the beautiful, clear sky and wished that he was home. Coleman and Devin realized that they were going to go through the first sets of their `70s halftime show. Coleman did not acknowledge the frustrations that would follow because he was a freshman. However, Devin knew the routine, and loathed it with a passion. Devin knew it was going to be a pain the ass to get through all of the sets of the first song "September" today. The boys got their instruments, Coleman with the bass and Devin with the snare, and walked their death march outside to the field. When they arrived, the boys sat down on the grass. Devin laid down completely on the grass because he knew it was going to be a while before he was able to sit down comfortably again. Coleman moved over to Devin's head and sat Indian style. He brushed Devin's smooth, short, blond hair, and he enjoyed it. Then Devin saw his friend Phil coming up near him and Coleman stopped stroking Devin`s hair, even though he still wanted to do it; he had to resist. Phil's body eclipsed the sun for Devin`s face. Phil asked, "Hey Dev, what up?" "Just resting right now, you know old man Munson will be a bitch." Phil and Coleman snickered, "Yeah, I remember this time last year not being fun." Then Phil became more serious, "Do you want to hang out sometime soon?" Devin looked frustrated, "I don't know Phil because I'm hanging out with Coleman Thursday and I have to go with my parents somewhere Wednesday." Phil looked disappointed, "How about today?" Devin sighed, "I feel really tired right now Phil, I don't want to do anything," Devin lied, "sorry, but I'll promise to see you this weekend." "Sure, when's a good time?" "I don't know, sometime Saturday during the day." Phil was starting to walk away, "Sure, I'll see you around Devin." When he was walking toward his friends, he turned his head around and looked at Coleman and Devin funny. He knew that Devin didn't feel well since the breakup with Rachel. But he had never acted this way to him before, it was just unusual, even for Devin. Then there was this look on Phil face that had stunned written all over it. He thought that Devin and Coleman suddenly became more than friends, like boyfriends. But that thought went out of Phil's mind because he knew that Devin was the stud of the sophomore class and could get any girl, or could he? He just walked away and did not think about it again for a while. Coleman looked at Devin in the eyes, "How come your best friend was acting so harsh on you?" Devin looked away and then hesitated to look at Coleman again, "Well, ever since my break up with Rachel, I have not acted the same to Phil. He has been my best friend for years, so he knows something is up. I was not acting well at the house party that I went to on Saturday. Yeah, there was alcohol and stuff like that, but I didn't feel up to it really, I only had 1 beer. That is SOOOO unusual for me. I usually get so trashed when I party with Phil, and Alex. So he is trying to help me, and even though I have you, he has to have the same role as before we became what we are now. Right now he feels threatened, so he is trying to reinforce my old self again." Coleman sighed as he rubbed Devin`s hair, "Oh well..., you have me my love." Devin chuckled and took a deep breath out, "Yeah, I'll have you this afternoon. Maybe that will change me drastically." "I hope so, I don't want you to become the next Daniel Johns. You know..., become anorexic and depressed." Devin sat up and jokingly pushed Coleman down to the ground, "You know I won't do that! I am not that much of a mental case!" "Maybe you are Dev, I don't know you well. You could just kill me here right on the spot!" Coleman tried to say that with a straight face, but couldn't, he laughed his ass off. "Oh, maybe I will Coleman, maybe I will..." With that, Devin was going to attack Coleman, but just in a nick of time for Coleman, Devin had to stop. With the megaphone, Mr. Amundsen announced, "Ok, guys, opening set for `September'!" Devin winked at Coleman, "Here comes hell! Let`s roll!" With that, the boy got up. Later that afternoon, the band camp sessions for the day were over. Coleman and Devin just literately threw their instruments over to the corner of the percussion room because they didn't care and it showed. Devin made sure that he had his water bottle, sunscreen, and his sticks with them, and the boys went to the front of the school. When they arrived, they saw Coleman's mom right in front of the school. Since Coleman wanted to sit with his boy in the backseat, instead of sitting in the front seat. Mrs. Fleming was really surprised to see her own son choosing to sit in the back. Mrs. Fleming started to drive off when the boys were in the car. She saw that the two boys were tired and they looked out of the window, not talking to each other. In order to break the ice, Mrs. Fleming asked, "What happened today?" Coleman said, "It was awful, we had to learn the entire first song and then go through it without instruments and then with them. We are so bad at this." Devin did the sign of the cross, "Take me now Lord!" "Well, I bet it will be better tomorrow Coleman and Devin. The first few days are always bad." The only response she got was a very quiet, "yeah" from Devin. The ride home was uneventful, the boys seldom spoke to each other. When the car arrived at the Fleming's house, there was a dramatic change in the energy with the boys. As soon as the car stopped, the boys ran right into the house. This was the first time that Devin saw Coleman's house. He noticed that it was not as large as his house was. He also noticed that his back-lawn did not have an in-ground swimming pool, like he did. "Well, here's my house Devin," Coleman said, "It might be a dump, but it is my own trash hole! See, you can dump your stuff on the countertop, and I won`t care." "That's cool, what do you want to do, sexy?" That last word didn`t sound quite right for Coleman, "Sexy?!" Devin had to defend himself, he whispered into Coleman's ear, "Well, since we are boyfriends, we should give each other names that are used between two boyfriends." "Oh, ok you had me startled!" "Yeah, I guess that I should have investigated the possibilities, but I'm blond!" Coleman laughed at that remark. Coleman had to go back to think for a minute on what to do, something that he does not do often, "Um well," he thought, "we could play some computer games, or we could play catch outside. I haven`t in a while!" Devin had to come up with a decision, "The evening is great, so I think we should play catch outside and just chill." "Yeah, let's go! Mom! We're going outside!" "Ok, but we are having dinner at 6:30, so be done by then!" Coleman and Devin ran out of the door before Mrs. Fleming could finish her sentence. The boys went to the garage and retrieved two mitts and a pretty beaten up baseball that had seen better days. The boys decided to go play in the backyard because it was so wide open. The boys started to throw the ball to each other, and Devin was surprised that Coleman could throw a pretty mean changeup because he was so thin. To retaliate, Devin threw the ball back with more zip than he anticipated because he did not want to be outmatched by a freshman. Even though Devin was supposed to watch the baseball coming toward him, especially with the sun in his face, he watched the shadow that Coleman cast right in front of him. He could seen the beauty of Coleman's physique pitching the ball back to him. When Devin was pitching, Coleman watched Devin's beautiful body more than the ball. The body of Devin Kelly was like a machine, being able to pitch the ball like an art. Coleman was surprised that he was still catching the pitches that Devin threw. The boys were throwing to each other in silence for a long time before Coleman asked, "Hey Devin? What about Thursday?" When Devin had the ball, he did not throw it. He had to think about the idea he threw out the day before. During the while that Devin was thinking, Coleman walked over to him, but then it clicked. "Coleman, why don't my mom pick us up on Thursday after our daily hell and you can get your stuff that you want to bring over and we will camp out in my house," Devin put his arm around Coleman and looked at him, "I think it would be pretty cool because my backyard is larger." Devin then winked to Coleman. It took a while, but Coleman got the wink. He then whispered in Devin's ear, "So we can fool around?" Devin nodded and grinned, "Sweet! We'll have a fun time!" Coleman looked so excited. "Hey Coleman," Devin interrupted, "Is there a secret spot to this property?" "Yeah, I actually go there sometimes. Why?" Coleman looked confused. Devin ordered and had a stern voice, "Just do what I say my boy!" "Well, let's go! I'll race you!" The two boys ran, led by Coleman away from the house down a little path that was in between the trees. After a short run into the run, there was a more open spot, however the house was still visible through the trees. Nonetheless, it was a perfect spot for Devin. "Coleman," Devin said in a relaxed tone as he put his arms around Coleman's waist, "I'm excited for Thursday, and here is a preview of what we are going to do." Devin slowly pressed his lips on Coleman's cheek and held it there for an unnecessary long time. After letting go, he saw the confounded expression that Coleman had because he was not expecting what Devin had just done. Before Coleman could recover, Devin spoke softly, "Here's another sample of what`s to come, my sweetheart." Devin went to Coleman's lips this time, and he pressed against them lightly, Coleman just loved the feeling. Then Devin had his tongue invade Coleman's mouth. It was a feeling that Coleman did not experience since his days with Megan, it was unexplainable, it was exhilarating, time completely stopped. The only thing that he could see was the sun setting behind the trees, it was a magnificent time to make out. Devin's warm tongue playing with Coleman's was so exciting. Coleman thought, "Fuck! He's so good at this! I can't wait until I get to see little Dev." When Devin released from Coleman, there was no emotion that could be explained for Coleman. There was this shock that Coleman had. "Fuck Devin! You are so good at French kissing, you burn Megan. You are the boy that everyone wants to get into your pants because you have kissed so many!" Devin blushed, "I only try to be good, hey you were so hot as well! Did Megan and you go far?" Coleman couldn't look at Devin, "Yeah, we fooled around a little, but that was so much better! I can`t wait for Thursday! I love you Devin, you`re the hottest boy ever!" "Hey no problem my little one. You're the cutest little kid, and so fuckin' funny!" "Hey Dev, here's a kiss for you." Coleman reached over for Devin's mouth and kissed him. He had his tongue playing with Devin's and Devin was shocked that Coleman was so hot at kissing. The kiss was only for a few seconds, but the moment seem to last a lifetime. Devin exclaimed with an astonished look, "Fuck Coleman, you're so hot! I can't wait to get inside of your pants!" "No bucko, I will first." Coleman giggled at Devin. :Sure you are! You don't even know what to do!" "Yeah I do, Megan and I did it!" "You're such a crappy liar Coleman!" "I know!" Coleman laughed his ass off. "Hey, let's go back to my house." "I'll outrun you!" Coleman said as they ran back for dinner. When they got back to the house, Mrs. Kelly was right in the kitchen talking to Mrs. Fleming. This came from out of left field for Devin. "Hey Devin," Mrs. Kelly said, "we have to go so you can eat with us. You haven't seen us all day." "But mom!" Devin said. "We have to go now, Devin Christopher Kelly! You can say goodbye to Coleman." "Kay mom. But can I ask Coleman something?" "Yes honey, you can." The boys went out of the kitchen and upstairs to Coleman`s room. They sat down on Coleman's bed. "Sorry Coleman, I know we've had fun today, but I want to show my appreciation of you inviting me over here today." "You don't have to Dev, but if you want to, you can. But before you do, I want to give you screen name so we can talk more about our camping sleepover and other stuff. So here it is." Coleman writes it down on the top half of a scrap of paper that he found on his bureau. "Here you go," Coleman gives it to Devin, "Write yours on the bottom." Devin scratches his and rips it. "Thanks Coleman, you're the best boyfriend ever. This is my appreciation." Devin takes down Coleman onto the bed and kissed him passionately all over his face. When he was kissing Coleman, his lips was like glued onto Coleman's, he would not let go easily. Devin let go and Coleman was amazed, "I'm really excited for Thursday." "Hey, me too, we'll have fun. Let`s go downstairs." The boys walk downstairs and Coleman opened the front door. " I'll see you tonight Dev." "Oh, I know I'll see you, later." Devin runs out to his mom's car and Mrs. Kelly drives away. Coleman just stares out of the window, not believing in what happened during the past few hours. End of Part 5 Thanks for reading! I know it sounds really soap operay and woosy, but I want to show more than the main plot. I want a few subplots going to make the story more interesting. I HOPE!
