~Measuring Love~
* * * (Chapter 2)* * *
Measuring His Own

Oli was really excited the next day when he woke up. He didn't mind the painful morning wood he had. `I can take care of that,' he thought. He rushed to the bathroom, stripped his clothes off and admired himself in front of the mirror. His skin was really soft to look at. Those fine hairs that adored his body was barely visible. He looked down to his crotch and saw how his dick throbbed in anticipation. He brushed his hand against it and felt the slightest jolt of electricity flow through his body. `Impatient, huh.'

Just before taking his shower, he leaned against the bathroom wall and began his morning exercise. He wasn't into sports that much, so his body wasn't at all buff. But he did exercise quite often. Oh, he exercised a lot. Now if only he could get some biceps for it. But who cares? He enjoyed this much more than lifting weights. He was lean, and he was happy for it. After several more strokes and a strongly vivid fantasy of the boy next door (yeah, he thought of that cute boy a lot), he came. He only began shooting sperm a couple of months ago and he was intrigued at how slowly his cum began to get whiter and thicker. His orgasm was short lived, though. But it still sent him close to heaven.

After taking a shower and smelling like a million bucks, he started taming his hair. Damn, it would take him hours to brush those spikes sticking out. His lips were pressed hard while his tongue stuck out at the corner. His eyebrows furrowed and he looked really frustrated. He sighed, knowing he would get nowhere with all this. `Just let the wind dry it,' he told himself. Well, that's what he always did. And it sort of helped that most people thought he looked cute that way. He blushed at their comments, too.

He went down for breakfast, glancing toward the clock every time he took a bite off his crisp bacon and well done eggs. His mom was an excellent cook and she always rewarded him with kisses when he complimented her. He adored his mom. She was always so caring and warm and never missed out on every opportunity to tuck in his loose Sunday clothes and straighten out those annoying collars. He finished his food rather quickly and went outside to wait for Dash. He could barely hold his excitement. The sun felt good on his skin. The gentle breeze brushed by his loose shirt and tugged at the end of his shorts. `Dash better be here soon,' he thought.

On the other side of town (well, not much on the other side, but you get what I mean), Dash was only starting to wake up from an awful nightmare. He shifted on his bed and noticed the little warm and sleeping body cuddled up to his side. He turned slowly, not wanting to stir the peaceful angel that was his younger brother. Putting his hand against the little boy's forehead, he brushed the soft brown curls that covered his eyes. He sighed, thinking of how much he loved the boy. Unfortunately, his gentle touch woke up the little cherub.

"Mmm...," the boy mumbled. "Dashu?" He rubbed his eyes and opened them slowly, revealing hazelnut spheres.

"Sshhh. I'm here Mattie," Dash whispered. He continued brushing his little brother's hair, loving how soft it was under his touch.

"Izit morning yet?" Mattie, or Matthew, asked his older brother.

"Yes." Dash suddenly remembered Oli's invitation yesterday. He wanted to come over to his house. "C'mon. We're going over to a...friend's." He pushed himself off the bed and Mattie soon followed. He wore nothing else but his boxers and Mattie didn't mind anyway. As for his little brother, the kid still wore pyjamas to bed. Yellow stars were printed on the dark blue clothing.

"I'm gonna take a shower, okay? You can wait here for me..."

"No. I wanna come with you," Mattie insisted. He didn't wait for his big brother to respond as he quickly stripped off his clothes and ran toward the bathroom that was connected to their room. Yes. Both boys still shared a room. Dash didn't mind, but actually liked it that way; relieved to have it that way.

Dash just sighed and started taking off his boxers. He walked over to his bedroom door and locked it. He put a chair against it just to make sure it won't get pried open from the outside. Feeling satisfied with the makeshift double-lock, he walked toward the bathroom and found Mattie already under the showerhead, smiling and waiting eagerly for him.

Both boys took their shower rather slowly. Mattie giggled as he lifted his leg up, one after the other, and leaned against the wall to let his brother wash him all over. He gleefully lifted his arms and let big brother take care of those as well. He felt ticklish so he was holding his laughter most of the time. His brother shampooed his hair for him as well. He loved Dash's gentle and warm touch. Mattie loved his big brother, no doubt.

"Dashu," Mattie said as he held his little boy dick in both hands. "It's alive."

"Don't play with it," Dash said, removing Mattie's hand from the poor thing. He gave it a good soap and lather while Mattie just giggled some more.

When both boys finished, Dash told Mattie to go out first and start drying himself in their bedroom. He was just gonna clean up for a bit, he said. When Mattie's little footstep reached the bedroom floor, Dash got down to business. He closed the door first and locked it. Going back under the showerhead, he closed his eyes and imagined Oli's wonderful smile. He pictured the other boy's beautiful azure eyes and soft porcelain skin. Slowly, he began stripping Oli of his clothes. He wondered what Oli looked like down there. He wanted to measure the boy somehow. `Yeah, measure,' he thought. Almost hesitantly, he reached down to his dick that had sprung into life at the instant he thought of the other boy. He began stroking it, pulling back his foreskin. A few strokes later, he began to breathe heavily. His hand was against the wall as he let out short breaths through his open mouth. Within a few more seconds, he squinted his eyes and felt himself shoot his cum. He never loosened his grip on his dick, though, and felt it getting softer and softer. He let out one last long breath and started cleaning himself up.

Dash found his younger brother seated on their bed, already dressed. Mattie wore his favourite shirt, the one printed with `Don't Mess with the Little Guy' in plain white against a soft blue background. Dash dried himself off and rummaged through their drawer for his own favourite shirt. `If Mattie's wearing that, this must be a good day,' he thought.

Having put on his clothes with his own favourite shirt which said `Yeah, Don't' in plain pastel blue against a greyish white background, Dash walked toward their bed. He sat down and glanced at his younger brother. The kid looked so innocent and carefree. Dash was thankful for that. He just didn't want to see Mattie get hurt.

"Where we going?" Mattie asked, looking up at Dash.

"To a friend's house. I'm sure you'll like him," Dash said as he fixed Mattie's hair. He let some curls cover part of his eyes `coz he thought Mattie looked cute that way.

"How `bout breakfast?" Mattie asked.

"I'll fix us something to bring along the way. Is a sandwich okay?" Dash stood up and walked to the door, waiting for his little brother to follow.

"Ham and eggs!" Mattie exclaimed, jumping off the bed.

Dash removed the chair that was propped against the door and unlocked the knob. He opened it and let Mattie out first, following closely behind him. The little kid skipped down and to the kitchen, making lots of noise along the way. Dash didn't care much. Unlike yesterday when he avoided the stubbornly noisy floorboards, he just stepped on them intentionally. It was way too early to bother with being quiet. Besides, no one else was awake yet in their house at this hour. Most of the time, anyway.

Dash fixed two sandwiches and wrapped them in a foil before placing them inside a paper bag. Mattie was by his side all the time, telling him to add more ham and to place the egg right at the middle. Dash did as he was told. Having satisfied the little kid, they both went out the front door and started their long walk towards Oli's house. He knew where the other boy lived so it wasn't going to be a problem finding it.

"What's taking him so long?" Oli said out loud as he began pacing back and forth on their porch. His mom mildly surprised him as she went out the door, dressed for some meeting or something.

"You expecting someone, sweety?" she asked.

"Yeah, mom. He's new at school and I just made friends with him."

"That's real nice of you. Just don't mess around the house too much, okay? I'll be home after lunch. Your father's in the garage fixing his car." She went over to Oli and kissed him on the forehead.

"Take care," Oli said as she waved her off, driving her own Honda Civic.

`Where the hell are you, Dash?' he thought, feeling more uneasy as time passed by. He walked over to the side walk and glanced both ways, looking for any signs of the other boy. He stopped looking when he saw Dash turn the corner and came into his view. He felt the beginning of a smile on his lips, but it went away as soon as he saw another kid, smaller than Dash, who was holding the other boy's hand.

Oli ran over to meet them, curious with who this little kid was. He was right in front of them in no time and showed them his brilliant smile that mostly outshined the sun. He looked at Dash before turning his attention to the little boy before him.

"Hey there. Are you Dash's friend? I'm Oliver. You can call me Oli. I'm Dash's friend, too," Oli said, offering the little boy his hand.

"Uhm, Dashu's my big brother. I'm Mattie," the little fellow said, taking Oli's hand in his.

"Dash! You didn't tell me you had a younger brother! And he looks so cute. How old is he?" Oli turned to Dash, while he ruffled Mattie's hair.

"Yeah, well, I do. He's nine. I hope you don't mind me bringing him along." Dash sounded a bit unsure with how Oli would respond.

"He's a cute kid. I won't mind at all," Oli responded. He turned his attention to Mattie once more. "Hey, Mattie. I have some cool games up in my room. Wanna try `em out?"

All Mattie could do was nod his head in pure excitement. He took his hand off Dash's grip and let Oli lead him to their house. He looked over to his big brother and just saw the small smile that adored the boy's face. He loved seeing his big brother smile.

In no time at all, the three of them were already upstairs and inside Oli's room. Oli and Mattie arrived first of course, with Dash following close behind. Oli was talking to Mattie about all sorts of stuff and the little kid responded so happily. `He's so much different from his big brother,' Oli thought. `If only Dash was this eager, I'd have no problem at all.'

Oli and Mattie played Grid 2 on the Xbox while Dash just sat on Oli's bed, watching the two. There wasn't any killing and blood and zombie in the game so Dash didn't have to worry too much. He actually appreciated Oli for being so cool with his little brother. He smiled, mostly to himself. Oli was winning and Dash just couldn't sit and watch anymore. He moved to sit down beside Mattie. He was telling Mattie where to turn and just when to hit the brakes. Well, the little kid lost to Oli anyway.

"Awesome, Mattie. You got second place!" Oli said, which made Mattie blush a little.

"Thanks," Mattie mumbled. "But I didn't beat you."

"Don't worry. You were still so good. You'll beat me soon enough," Oli said, ruffling the little kid's hair. "Hey, Dash! Let's see if your name is as fast as your car."

And so it began, Dash and Oli's little racing game. They decided on drift, with Dash's blue matte finished Dodge Challenger up against Oli's SLR McLaren 722 covered in crimson stripes. It was a close game at first, both drivers managing to score high at every turn of the race track. But, in the end, it was Dash claiming victory and pride for his own name scoring over 200,000 points while Oli managed 193,580 points. Mattie was so proud for his big brother, bouncing up and down on his little feet. He hugged Dash by the neck and almost pulled the bigger boy down to the floor. Oli could see Dash's almost invisible smile and noticed how hard Dash tried to hold back his laughter.

"It's alright, Dash," Oli said, looking at him. "You don't have to be so serious around me. Just have fun, `kay?"

Dash just looked at Oli, unsure what to say. Mattie was still tugging at him slightly, but also had his attention directed to Oli. Oli just smiled at both boys, admiring how close they really were to each other.

"So, who wants something to drink?" Oli asked as he put down his controller and stood up.

"Me!" Mattie shouted, releasing his hold on Dash. "I want soda!"

"Go on down. We'll catch up," Oli said as he led Mattie through the door. The little kid practically ran downstairs.

As Oli got past the doorway, he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to see Dash looking down at the floor. The other boy was biting his bottom lip while his eyes narrowed a little. Oli was about to say something when Dash beat him to it.

"Thanks," Dash began. "Thanks, Oliver. For being so cool and all with me and Mattie. I really appreciate it."

"Don't worry, Dash. It's no big deal. And you could call me Oli, y'know," Oli flashed him his wonderful smile before adding, "We're friends, right?"

"Ye...yeah, Oli," Dash answered with his barely audible voice. He looked at Oli then with a serious face. "But I'm still not sitting with you at lunch."

"We'll see," Oli playfully said as he turned around once again having caught Mattie's little voice calling out to them.

The three boys were soon enjoying their drinks while sitting on the living room sofa in front of the TV. Mattie's little legs hung over the edge. He was wearing loose shorts that sometimes travelled up his thighs, showing smooth fair skin. Oli wondered if Dash was as smooth as that. Well, his imagination worked really hard as Dash was wearing denims that hid what was so desperately needed to be seen. Oli didn't mind too much. `I'll definitely get a good look at it soon,' he thought. His eyes eventually went up over Dash's leg and stopped at the other boy's crotch which seemed to show a small bulge right at the middle. `Measure that,' he thought.

Dash caught Oli's eyes checking him out, but didn't say anything. He was amused at Oli's indiscreet curiosity. `He's so easy to read,' he thought. He, on the other sand, just threw some side glances at Oli's smooth porcelain legs and occasionally at the bulge that was on the other boy's shorts. He wondered some more on how big Oli really was.

All the while, Mattie sat in between the two, carelessly drinking his soda. He was oblivious to both of Oli's and Dash's silent questions as he watched the morning cartoon on Nick.

A while later, Oli's father came in through their back door, wiping the sweat off his face. He went over to where the boys were and introductions soon took place.

"Dad, this is Dash and his little bro Mattie," Oli said to his father.

"Hi, sir," both Dash and Mattie said.

"Hm." Oli's dad looked at both boys intently. His eyes settled mostly on Dash. "Have I seen you boys somewhere?"

"Uhm. I don't think so, sir. No," Dash responded.

Oli's dad pondered some more, but just couldn't place where he saw the two boys before. He wasn't quite sure anyway and just said, "Yeah. Must have been someone else. Oli, let them stay for lunch. What do you boys want?"

The three boys settled for tuna sandwich and let Oli's father mess with the kitchen. Well, he knew how to make sandwiches so that wasn't much of a problem. And lunch was still an hour away. Having been bored with watching television, Oli thought that they could have fun in their backyard. There was a hoop somewhere there so they might as well play basketball. Dash and Mattie, mostly Mattie, agreed.

It was two against one, Oli against Dash and Mattie, with their score tied up at 12. Oli had the ball, dribbling it at his side as he looked for a way through his enemy's defences. Mattie stood in front of Oli, stretching his arms out wide with his knees bent. Dash wasn't far behind his little brother, always ready to back up the little guy. Oli saw an opportunity as he faked going to one side, Mattie following him, before spinning around and dashing through the opposite side. Within a few steps, Oli broke through Mattie's defence, but felt the boy's little hands tugged at his side. Still, Oli pushed through just as Dash went to his little brother. Scoring a dunk, Oli sported a huge grin when he turned to both boys. Mattie was on the ground, holding his bright red knee, looking almost on the verge of crying. Dash was at his side, soothing the boy.

"Mattie!" Oli immediately kneeled beside him.

"Oli! What the hell did you do?" Dash shouted at Oli.

"I didn't mean it. I'm real sorry, Mattie." Oli could feel Dash's angry eyes on him.

"S'okay, Oli. You didn't mean it. And I was clumsy," Mattie finally said, showing his own little smile while his eyes glistened with some tears. "Dashu, don't be mad."

"Let's get that cleaned up inside," Oli said. Dash didn't argue and just helped Mattie on his feet. The little boy was limping a bit, but he didn't want to be carried into the house, at Dash's suggestion.

Oli's dad did the cleaning, with both boys at Mattie's side. Dash held his brother's hand in his. He felt Mattie's grip tighten at the sudden contact of antiseptic on the fresh wound. Mattie didn't cry though. He was a tough little guy. Hey, don't mess with him. Oli was rubbing Mattie's back, trying to comfort the boy as much as he could. As soon as that was all over, the three ate their lunch quietly.

Oli could tell that Dash was still angry at him. He really didn't mean what happened earlier. But he did feel regretful that he took that dunk without paying much attention to the little hand that grabbed his side. He looked over to Mattie and saw the little guy looking at his brother.

"Dashu, Oli didn't mean it, `kay?" Mattie said.

"I know, Mattie. I'm not mad at him," Dash told his brother.

"But you are," Mattie almost whined. "I know when you're mad `coz your eyes change colour."

Oli was amused at the exchange before him. `Did Dash's eyes really change colour?' he thought. Taking a small bite off his sandwich, he looked at Dash more intently. He couldn't see anything changing. It was the same deep brown eyes. He wondered how Mattie saw anything through those almost unreadable orbs. `It must be some brotherly thing,' he settled for that. But he was still looking for any hint of Dash's eyes changing even just into a different hue.

"It's alright, Mattie," Oli said, getting the boy's attention. "Your brother really loves you a lot if he's mad at me. I hurt you, but I didn't mean it, `kay?"

"I'm not mad, Oli," Dash said.

After lunch, the three spent the rest of their time in Oli's bedroom. The room was filled with Mattie's laughter as he was tickled almost to the death by Oli. Dash sat across the bed, just enjoying the wonderful sound of his brother's laugh. Mattie squirmed under Oli's unforgiving hands. He was kicking the sheets off the bed. His knee didn't hurt anymore. Oli, for his part, was really enjoying how soft Mattie's body was as he tickled the little boy's sides, belly and little feet.

"Stop! Stop! I'm gonna pee!" Mattie shouted through his uncontrollable laughter.

Oli relented, settling for the sound of Mattie's mild and dying laughter. The little boy's voice was really good to hear. Mattie, having recovered from the joyful torture while still wrapping his arms around his tummy, sat up and got off the bed.

"I really hafta pee," Mattie said, his big eyes looking at Oli.

"The bathroom's just down the hallway, to your left. You can find that, right?" Oli said as he patted Mattie's shoulder. The little boy nodded his head and went straight for the bathroom, holding his crotch this time.

"He's a cool kid," Oli said. Turning to Dash, he added, "I can see why you love him so much."

"Yeah," Dash responded quietly. "Sorry...about earlier. I just didn't want Mattie to get hurt."

"S'okay, Dash. You're his big brother, after all. You need to protect him." Oli moved closer to where Dash sat on his bed. Dash didn't move away, but wasn't looking at Oli. "And I can see he loves you as much...Dashu." Oli had a teasing smile adoring his face.

Dash looked at Oli instantly, hearing Mattie's pet name for him through those beautiful cherry lips. Instead of getting mad or upset, he felt himself blush a little. And he couldn't just hide his blush as easily as when he hid his smile. And he just wanted to smack that smile off of Oli's face. But he couldn't do so much as ruin the boy's radiant expression. The smile made everything in the room feel warm and he just didn't want that to go away. He wanted that smile to stay and always be there to brighten each of his days. Dash shook the thought off his head and looked away from Oli. He didn't want Oli thinking that he had some effect on him. `That's just gay,' Dash thought. And he remembered clearly how Oli reacted yesterday when he asked him if he was gay. `But he was checking me out earlier. What is with this guy?'

Mattie came running into the room and threw himself into Oli's arms. Oli picked him up and let him sit on his lap, the little boy's back leaned against his chest. Mattie turned his head to look up at Oli.

"I really like you, Oli. You're cool," Mattie said, as he leaned his head back on Oli's shoulder.

"You're not bad yourself, Mattie. You can come over anytime you want." Oli took in the scent of Mattie's hair. It smelled nice, like some tropical fruit or something. He wondered if Dash's hair smelled the same.

"Can we, Dashu? Please?" Mattie looked at Dash with pleading. Well, as far as kids go, it was short of those overly huge puppy eyes.

"Whenever you want to," Dash responded. This made Mattie squeal with pure excitement and squirm on Oli's lap. He giggled a lot, too. "But we have to go now," Dash added, which put a sad, sad look on Mattie's beautiful face.

"Do we haftaaa?" Mattie whined as he refused to get off Oli's lap.

"Yeah. Do you have to, Dash?" Oli tried pulling off those puppy eyes. Despite his failed attempt, he still looked cute. And his pout only made him cuter.

"We can come back here some other time, `kay? Right now, we really have to get home," Dash stood and walked over to Oli to pick his little brother up. Mattie didn't resist, as he was lifted just right under his arms. He couldn't help but giggle a little. He was ticklish, y'know.

"I hafta to say something to Oli first. It won't take long, promise," Mattie said as he was set down on the floor, standing.

"Okay, say it quickly," Dash urged his little brother, crossing his arms over his chest.

"No, no," Mattie said as he pushed Dash towards the doorway. "Wait here. It's a secret." He ran back to Oli and whispered something to his ears.

Oli blushed at what Mattie was telling him. It didn't take long and Mattie quickly ran to Dash, taking his brother's hand in his. Oli, having recovered from the sudden display of colour on his cheeks, walked over to the doorway as well. He led Dash and Mattie down the stairs and out there front door. Before the two started walking off into the distance, Dash said something to Oli.

"Thanks, Oli. For...everything."

"No need to thank me. I had lots of fun, too. So, you coming over again tomorrow?" Oli asked. Mattie's face lit up and he tugged at his big brother.

"We can't. I still have to do some chores at home," Dash said. He turned to Mattie and said, "I know you want to, Mattie, but I really have lots to do at home. We'll come back some other time, `kay?"

Mattie didn't need to be told twice. He understood his brother's silent plea. He nodded slightly and said goodbye to Oli. Oli just ruffled his hair some more, telling him to be a good boy unless he wanted his big brother spitting out fire. He giggled at the thought.

"So...I'll see you at school," Oli told Dash.

"Yeah. But I still won't sit with you at lunch," Dash replied.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say."

Oli saw the retreating backs of Dash and Mattie as both boys walked down the sidewalk and finally turned around the corner. Oli felt sad all of a sudden. The house was quiet once more. He missed Dash and Mattie already. Closing their front door, Oli remembered what Mattie whispered to his ear. It wasn't much, but it was enough to stir something in his heart. Mattie's little voice played once more in his head.

"Dashu likes you, Oli. He really likes you a lot."

Of course, there wasn't much to those words. It was pretty normal to like somebody. But, if you were Oli, you could've heard how different those words sounded to him. `He likes you a lot.' Oli sat down on their couch and replayed Mattie's words over and over and over again. `Dash has a crush on me,' he thought. He felt more determined now to succeed. Finally, he was sure where he stood in Dash's life. `He has a crush on me.'

Meanwhile, as Dash and Mattie were headed home, there was a disconcerting air enveloping the two. Dash, for most of his part, was dead set on getting home already. Mattie, having his little hand squeezed tightly by his big brother, looked really worried. He could feel the tension and fear that Dash was experiencing. He just knew when his big brother was a whole lot different than his regular self. And he knew exactly why. But, as he was made to swear an oath to his brother, silence always was the golden rule between the two. But it doesn't mean that both their hearts could keep quiet all the time.

"Dashu, shouldn't we tell Oli?" Mattie asked, looking up to his big brother. He felt his hand being held tighter by Dash.

"Remember what I told you?" Dash reminded Mattie, meeting the little boy's worried eyes.

"Lips zipped, mouth shut; when somebody asks, tell them not," Mattie recited from memory.

"Good. Besides, we can't trust Oli to understand," Dash said, picking up their pace again. It was already past 3pm and he was getting a bit worried what awaits them, mostly him, at home. He sighed, knowing full well that he couldn't do anything to change things anytime soon. But he did remain hopeful that someday...maybe...For now, only one thing mattered to Dash. Mattie shouldn't get hurt.
