Chapter 13 of

Oh Yes Travis

By LR

Karen was bent over, getting clothes out of David's dirty clothes hamper. She stood up and walked out of the room, never facing David or Travis.

"She almost..." Travis whispered.

"Yeah," David said. Travis stared at David oddly, kissed him, went over to his bag, pulled out his clothes, and dressed. David dressed as well.

"Hey, you wanna go see the Mothman Prophecies? It's playing in fifteen minutes," David asked.

"Um... yeah," Travis said. David and Travis ran downstairs and into the kitchen.

"Mom, could you take us to go see the Mothman Prophecies at the Regal Theater. It starts in fifteen minutes and it's rated PG thirteen," David informed his mother.

"Yeah, get in the car, I'll be there in two minutes," Karen said. David and Travis ran to the garage. David opened the garage door. David and Travis got into the Mercedes Benz E320. It was a 1997 model, with black interior, black exterior, and had chrome wheels. David was in the front passenger seat and Travis was in the middle backseat.

"Why is Mercedes leather so damn hard?" Travis asked.

"I dunno. I'm used to it, so I don't notice any difference," David said.

"Oh," Travis said plainly. Karen walked out of the garage door and opened the car door. She started the car and the radio turned on. "I'm A Slave 4 U" by Britney Spears was playing.

"Hey, David, could you turn that up please?" Travis asked. He was a Britney Spears fan, as well as David. They both had all of her CDs and had been to several of her concerts.

"Yeah, sure," David said. David turned up the radio's volume and Karen drove them to movie theater. David and Travis got out of the car and went up to Karen's window.

"Y'all have fun, and I'll be back in two hours to get y'all. Bye," Karen informed them.

"Okay, mom, bye," David said as Karen drove off. David and Travis walked up to the box office. There was a woman in a black and white uniform, with red-rimmed glasses and red hair.

"Hello, welcome to the Regal Theater. What would you like to see today?" the woman asked.

"We'd like to see The Mothman Prophecies please," David said as he pulled out a twenty-dollar bill.

"That's nine fifty please," the woman said. David gave her the money and she gave him the tickets and change.

"Enjoy the movie," the woman said. David and Travis walked through the glass doors and went up to the refreshment counter where they were greeted by a man in a similar black and white uniform.

"Hello, what would you like?" the blond-haired man asked.

"I'd like one large popcorn and one large Pepsi please," David said.

"With or without butter?" the man asked.

"With please," David replied. The man scooped up some popcorn and put it into the large bag and filled the 44 ounce cup with Pepsi.

"That'll be eight fifty please," the man said. David handed the man nine dollars and the man gave David the popcorn, the drink, and the 50 cents he owed him. David and Travis walked up the steps to the ticket man and gave them their tickets.

"Theater one," the man informed them.

"Thanks," Travis said. David and Travis walked into the theater and took their seats in the third row. The previews started and soon after, the movie as well.

"That was really freaky," David said to Travis as they were walking out of the theater.

"Yeah, it was weird. Richard Gere is hot," Travis said. David gave him a stern look.

"But not as hot as you, sweetheart," Travis reminded David. David smiled and giggled.

"Thank you," David whispered. David opened the door to go outside, and Travis went out the door, with David following. Karen's car was parked right in front of the theater, with her inside the car, waiting. David opened the back door for Travis and Travis got in. David got in the front passenger seat.

"Hey, boys! How was the movie?" Karen asked.

"It was really freaky," Travis said.

"Yeah, it was," David added.

"Oh," Karen said as they drove out of the parking lot.

"Hey, mom, could we go to the mall?" David asked. Karen looked at the dashboard before answering.

"Yeah, we have enough time. I'll come with y'all though. We'll be there in a few minutes," Karen said.

"Thanks, mom," David said. A few minutes later, just as Karen had said, they were pulling into a parking space in the mall's parking lot. The door slammed as Karen's mom shut the door last. She, David, and Travis walked toward the entrance of the mall. They opened the door and then Karen stopped.

"Where do y'all wanna go?" she asked.

"How about Abercrombie and Fitch?" David suggested.

"Okay," Karen said. They all headed to the other end of the mall to go to Abercrombie and Fitch. They walked into the store. David and Travis both stopped and stared at a picture of a man on one of the wall's of Abercrombie and Fitch.

"Look at that guy," David whispered to Travis.

"Yeah, he's cute," Travis whispered back.

"He isn't cute...he's fine!" David whispered.

"No, he's just cute," Travis argued.

"Whatever," David said.

"Asshole," Travis said under his breath. David walked up to some jeans on a rack, pulled them off, and ran to the dressing room very quickly.

"What got into him?" Travis asked Karen.

"I don't know," Karen said. David ran out of the dressing room a few minutes later.

"Mom, I want these and then I want to leave," David said.

"Alright, David. But why?" Karen asked.

"I just want to leave," David said. David and his mother went up to the counter and paid for the jeans. They quickly went out of the mall and got into the car. They drove home. David and Travis got home, and ran upstairs.

"Why did we go in there just to get a pair jeans and then leave?" Travis asked.

"Because maybe I felt like it," David grumpily said.

"Forgive me for asking, almighty god," Travis sarcastically barked.

"Leave me alone," David yelled at Travis, almost crying. David ran into his bathroom and locked the door. Sobbing sounds were coming from the bathroom.

"David, open the door!"

"Leave me alone!"

"Why are you doing this?"

"You wouldn't care."

"Yes, I do."

"No, you don't. If you cared you wouldn't have done that!"

"Done what?"

"Hurt me."
