Chapter 18 of

Oh Yes Travis

By LR

Travis sighed and lay back in the tub.

"Amazing," David said.

"What is?" Travis asked.

"You were," David whispered.

Travis giggled and blushed.

"Thanks," Travis said.

"No, thank you!" David said.

Travis blushed again. David and Travis finished their bath, and washed each other.

"Do you want me to get the towels?" David asked.

"If you want," Travis replied.

"Okay," David said.

Travis smiled at David and David smiled back. David walked out of the tub, went to his towel closet, pulled out two pink towels, and shut the door.

"Here you go, baby," David said as he handed Travis a towel.

They dried off and walked into David's bedroom.

"Um, could I borrow some of your clothes?" Travis asked.

"Sure," David replied.

"Thanks," Travis whispered.

"Anytime, baby," David whispered back.

Travis opened David's walk-in closet, pulled out a pair of black-pants, and a silk, black shirt. David pulled out a white, silk shirt, and a pair of white jeans. David peered out his window, the sun was setting, and he thought that maybe, he could show Travis what he bought him down by the river, which was in his backyard. He lived on the river, which something that was forgotten to be mentioned. David had a stash of money saved up, about $800 dollars, and he bought Travis a golden necklace, with a heart-shaped pendant on the end that had the letters, "DaLoTr" engraved on it. "DaLoTr" stood for "David Loves Travis", he had the first two letters of each of the words put on the pendant. Around "DaLoTr", were small, real diamonds.

"Let's take a walk by the river, okay?" David suggested as he pulled out a small, black box out of his drawer, which Travis did not see him take out.

"Sure," Travis said.

They walked out of the room, and went outside to the river. David pulled the black box out of his pocket.

"What's that?" Travis asked.

"Something for you. Open it," David said as he handed Travis the box.

Travis gasped as he open it. His face then turned to confusion.

"What is d-a-l-o-t-r supposed to mean?" Travis asked.

"'D-a' are the first two letters of David, 'L-o' are the first two letters of loves, and 'T-r' are the first two letters of Travis," David explained.

"Oh, sweetheart, thank you!" Travis yelped as he pulled David into a hug.

"You didn't spend too much money on this, did you?" Travis asked.

"I spent plenty, don't worry about the price," David whispered.

"Thank you so much! I love you," Travis said.

"You're welcome, and I love you, too," David whispered as he smiled.

Travis pulled the necklace out of the box.

"Would you please put it on me?" Travis asked.

"Sure," David said as he pulled it over Travis's neck, and locked the necklace together.

"Thanks," Travis whispered as he smiled.

"You're welcome," David whispered back.

Travis kissed David's cheek and smiled at him. David smiled back. They both walked back inside the house, and went into the kitchen. David pulled open the pantry, and scoured it with his eyes. He found nothing to eat. He opened the refrigerator and freezer as well, and found nothing to eat.

"Mom?" David yelled.

"Yeah?" Karen yelled back.

"We need to go to the store!" David yelled.

"What?" Karen yelled.

"We need to go to the store!" David yelled again.

"I can't hear you, come back here," Karen yelled.

David and Travis walked back to Karen's bedroom.

"We need to go to the grocery store," David said calmly.

"Oh, yeah, I'm gonna be leaving for the store in about twenty minutes. Y'all wanna come?" Karen asked.

"Umm, yeah," David said.

"Okay. By the way, what does that thing on your necklace mean, Travis?" Karen asked.

For those of you who don't know why I put a hyphen (-) between the letters, it shows that it spells out the letters, i.e. "A, B, C". As in, actually saying each letter.
