Date: Mon, 2 Apr 2001 13:25:33 EDT From: MarkHoppus@punkrocker.co.uk Subject: Revisiting the Past part 1 This story is the first in a series that contains acts of a sexual nature between two young brothers and their friends. If this type of content offends you, do not read any further. If you want to read it, keep this in mind. This story is not true, all characters are fictional, any resemblance between my characters and other persons living or dead is purely coincidence. There are a few things which I do not agree with in the series, unprotected sex, unprotected sex with the new guy in the neighbourhood, and unprotected sex with the new guy in the neighbourhood and my little brother. Enough said, let us begin... Part 1: Well I guess this is growing up... The cold evening air drifted through the house. North East England had never been the hottest of places, and this night was anything but an exception. Daniel sat at his desk doing homework and listening to CDs. He was 14, short brown hair and green eyes, and he was totaly into Blink 182 and Green Day. His "Dude Ranch" CD blaired track after track of amazing punk rock, it was at times like this Daniel felt invinsable. But the temple that was his room was also his little brothers room. Mark was 12, and like any little brother, liked all the same music Daniel did and anything his older brother did was instantly cool. He creeped up behind him, put his mouth right net to Daniel's ear and shouted as loud as he could. "Hey!" He shouted, making Daniel jump and draw a big line through his work. "You fuckin arsehole!" Daniel shouted back, quickly covering his mouth knowing that his parents must have heard. When a reply from downstairs didn't come, he started talking again. "What the hell was that for?" He asked, jabbing Mark's arm hard. It must have been hard because Mark had tear in his eyes. "Calm the fuck down," he said holding back the tears, "you'll live longer." He was going through the phase where everything you say has to be cockey, wittey or smart ass. "You know what, fuck you." Daniel said standing up and putting his pen down. He lunged at Mark and threw him on the bed. They wrestled for a few minutes, and when Mark started laughing, Daniel punched him as hard as he could in the stomach. He ran over to turn his CD player off, before quickly running back to Mark. "Shit, are you OK?" He asked. Somebody two years older than you punches you as hard as they can in he stomach, are you likely to be OK? "Of...course I...'m not fu...ckin OK!" He said whinded and trying to breathe. Daniel knew he'd gone over the top this time, and quickly shut the door tight should one of his parents walk past and kick off at him. "Just lay down and catch your breath, man." He said worried. Mark was a total asshole, but after what they'd been through together he could never stay mad at him. "Are you gonna be alright?" He was always looking out for Mark, even if it was his own fault he was in trouble. Mark just nodded and layed down on his bed. "Alright, man, but it was your own fault you know. Now I'll have to do my English paper all over again, its gonna take hours." He was upset, but knew that it would actually take him five minutes to write the page up if he was fast. As he sat copying up the writing, Mark sat up and began to talk, still a little queezy, but had managed to talk again. "What's your paper on?" He asked, he never had to do big papers, but he learned everything about it from TV and knew they were bad. "Mac-fuckin-beth." Daniel replied, frustrated. "Isn't that the one where he kills everybody, and theres witches and ghosts and everything in it?" He knew the basics from what Daniel had told him. "Yeh, it sounds good, but its really boring. I don't understand half the words in it, I mean listen to this: "Did not you speak? When? Now. As I descended? Ay. Hark!"" he read from Act 2 Scene 2. "Like, what the hell does "Hark!" mean?" "I dunno, just don't do it, I never do." Mark said, trying to get his brother to relax a bit. "Yeh, but you don't have to do things that count for 25% of your grade do you? I mean, this paper counts for 25%, a "Macbeth Exam" counts for 25% and a normal English exam counts for 50%." He was angry that only one paper needed to be done, becuase it would have to be damn good, but at the same time, he was releived he didn't have to do too many. Mark was confused when the list was read out, so he just stopped taking interest. "Do you wanna play on the computor with me or are you gonna be boring?" He asked turning the Play Station on. "What, er, no I'd better do this." Daniel said not even looking up. "Your boring now, you used to always want to do stuff and now your either working or playing your stupid guitar." He said in a mood. He was right though, for as long as they could remember they'd done everything together, and now Daniel just wasn't interseted anymore. His work was more important than anything at the moment, or at least thats what their dad says. And when he's not working he's playing guitar in a crap band. "I wish things could go back to how they used to be," Mark thought, "I really do!" People say you can't re-live the past, but you can always revisit it...
