Thank you Nifty.org! +++++ Hey Guys, Sorry about how long it has taken me to write this, and how short it is! I will honestly try harder to get more LENGTHY chapters up soon! Im currently running a new gay/bl bulletin board called "Purebl" and it is taking its toll, so again, I am very sorry! If you would like to have your story featured on PUREBL, please email me. If you are an adult, and you have signed up to (purebl.net) before, you were most likely refused access as it is predominantly a youth board. As of now, the board is open to all members due to certain circumstances, and you are all invited to join. To all those offended by the refusal of access, I am deeply sorry, but it was our policy at the time. If you have already signed up, you do not need to sign up again, as your username will be made avaliable. You should also get an email from purebl.net staff notifying you of the changes. http://purebl.net < While still predominantly a gay/bl youth community, we are now opening our doors to adults, please feel free to join, post and enjoy our community! Regards, Tek ---- You see you wouldn't ask why the rose that grew from the concrete had damaged petals. On the contrary, we would all celebrate its tenacity. We would all love it's will to reach the sun. Well, we are the rose - this is the concrete - and these are my damaged petals. The Rose That Grew From Concrete Tupac Amaru Shakur 1971 -1996 ---- Part. 3 Sitting at home thinking of his past, what has happened to him in his lifetime, Skyler couldn't help the tear stroll down his cheek. But this was not a tear of pain. This was a tear of joy. He has finally found somewhere he belongs, somewhere he can fit in, parents who love him, and who he can love in return. He has also found someone who he can trust. It has been a few months since that first day at Luna Park with Zac, and their friendship had grown so tight, they were more like brothers than simple friends. The 13 year olds spent a lot of time together, a phone call at least was guaranteed everyday between the two. Meeting up more days than not in the week, the boys explored the surroundings of each others houses, went shopping at the mall, and generally having fun with each others company. By now school had started, and Sky was giddy, but relieved he had someone to watch his back as he walked down the hallways. Walking along, engaged in vivid conversation with Zac, Skyler hadn't noticed he was straying off path, and walked into another boy, pushing him to the ground with his momentum. "Oh my, I'm so sorry, are you okay?!" The boy had let out an "Oomph!" as he fell to the floor, his books strewn accross the hallway. Sky offered his hand to the boy to help him up, which he accepted. "Yeah, I'm fine... did you get the plates of that truck though? The bastard could have at least exchanged insurance info though!" The boy joked. "Im sorry, I really am," Sky blushed, "Here let me get your books." "Oh no, it's okay I..." Bending down to pick up the books, the boys bumped heads. "Definately not my day." BUZZZZZ!!!!! The bell signalling first period rang loud. "Oh uh, I had better go," Holding his hand out, "Name's Deacon". "Skyler, and this is Zac." Zac waved nonchalantly, seemingly embarrassed the two had made such a big scene. The boys walked to their class. "Er, you don't happen to have English first period, do you?" Deacon asked, as they started walking the same direction. "Sure do, why?". Deacon just smiled and continued walking. Soon the three boys entered the doorway to Mr. Williamson's English class. "Good morning, boys, glad so many of you could make it this morning." The teacher started, staring directly at Zac. Zac fidget under the mans gaze, trying to look anywhere but at Mr. Williamson. This wasn't lost on Skyler, and he made a mental note to ask Zac about it during break. "Let's get on with it, shall we?". The morning was a bore, nothing interesting. But break did finally come, Skyler invited Deacon to join them, but he said he had something he had to do, and headed the opposite way down the hall. As Skyler and Zac sat on the grass, each with an apple in hand, Skyler decided to ask Zac about earlier. "What's the story with Mr. W?" "What do you mean?" Zac's eyes darted up, a worried expression on his face. "That! That's what I mean, Zac. You were all fidgety when he looked at you this morning, now you look like you have a secret. Whats going on?" Skyler pushed, worried of how his friend was acting. "What? There's nothing wrong, just shut up and eat your apple...". That little outburst left Sky a little shaken. What had he said wrong? He didn't like to let it go, but decided against pushing the issue any further just yet. Zac looked a little touchy, so he just sat and ate his apple, watching the activity around him, kids playing and laughing. "Hey guys, sup?" Deacon came running up, looking flushed. "Oh nothing much, how about you? You look buggered!" "Ah you may never know how right you are there, Sky." The boy giggled and sat down with the two on the ground. The bell signalling the end of break sounded a few minutes later, and the boys rushed back to class, this time, in seperate directions. After Zac pointed Sky in the right direction, Skyler went to his next class alone. Several weeks later, Deacon had become good friends with the boys, spending most of his time with them at Skylers' house. Zac had started noticing subtle things about Deacon. When they play a game on the PS2, he'd sit close to Skyler, often touching legs. Touching him a lot, like poking him in the belly as a game, or brushing up against him when he had the chance. He even gave him a hug before he left for home last night. That last thing worried Zac to the point of thinking about talking with Sky. Zac had known for sometime now how he felt about Skyler, but he didn't know how to handle his feelings. And seeing another guy swoon over him made him jealous to the point of being angry. The next day, during break, Zac decided to talk to Deacon. He pulled him to the side, after telling Sky he'd meet him on the lawn. "What is the deal with you and Skyler, Deacon?" He demanded, once they had reached a stall in the bathroom. "Wh.. what do you mean?" Zac grabbed his shirt by the collar, his eyes full of angred passion. "Don't fuck with me, Deacon, what is up between you two?!". "There's nothing! I promise I havent the faintest idea what you're talking about! PLEASE!" Releasing him, Zac push him down to the floor, Deacons back sliding down the stall wall. "Then why are you so 'touchy feely' with him, huh?" Deacon just stared up at Zac, fear emanating from his aura. "Stay away... do you hear me? You stay away from Skyler! If I see you near him, i'll beat you so hard, your grandchildren will feel it, you hear?". "Y..yes..". The boy wimpered, Zac leaving the stall, feeling completely different than he had 20 seconds earlier. He felt ashamed, and terrified. He knew he was angry... but not that angry, and it scared him.
