Classification: oral Anal Simon's Story Part 16: Weekend Camp The Second Night They all went home about an hour later. The mood in the car was very sombre and Simon wouldn't let go of Robert even when they got in and out. This made it a little awkward for Robert, but he didn't care. He hated seeing his friend suffer like this and very soon became frustrated with himself because he couldn't do anything more than he had already done to alleviate his lover's suffering. All he could do now was be there for him whenever he needed him. Arthur entered, bounding in through the door an hour or so after the rest of the family had returned from the hospital. He had been staying round at his mate's house and knew nothing of the tragedy that had befallen Simon. Simon insisted that he speak to Arthur who entered the living room full of beans and eager to tell everyone about his weekend, but stopped short when he saw all the sad faces looking back at him. "Sit down here for a moment Arthur. I need to talk to you." Simon said seriously. Arthur looked back at him with his mouth agape. Simon just patted the settee next to him and Arthur sat down. "I have some bad news and some good news for you." Simon paused as he carefully considered the best way of telling Arthur about the events of earlier that afternoon. Simon put an arm around the younger boy's shoulders. "My mum and dad were . . . were . . .died this afternoon." Simon just got out before he lost his composure and his tears started flowing again. "They were killed after a car crash." Simon finished before going to pieces completely. Robert, who was sitting very close by pulled Simon to him and held him tight. Simon's whole body was shaking. Such was the force of his sobs. Arthur just sat there not really believing what he had just heard. Arthur looked at his mum first and then his dad. They both looked very sad. "Come here son." His mother said as she reached her arms out toward him. Tears were starting to form in his eyes as he slowly walked across the floor toward her. He sat on her lap and hugged her close. "What's going to happen to Simon?" He asked. "He's going to stay here with us for the time being. I hope he can stay until he is ready to leave, but that decision isn't made by us." Arthur sat there very solemnly for a few moments as the gravity of the situation sank in. He went across to Simon, who was still being hugged by Robert and knelt down on the floor in front of them and hugged them both very tight. "I'm sorry Si'." He said softly. Simon turned to look at him and pulled him in to a three-way hug with Robert. "Thanks Squirt." Simon replied. The three boys stayed like that for best part of 10 minutes. "What was the good news you mentioned?" Arthur asked. "Simon has a baby brother. Michael Robert." Robert said proudly. Arthur grinned before he returned to a more sombre expression. In those last few minutes a bond developed between the three boys that would be tested to the full in the coming weeks. The morning dawned fresh and crisp. Reluctantly Arthur and Robert got ready for school while Simon slept after a long and restless night. Robert didn't want to go, but his mother insisted. Reluctantly both Robert and Arthur left after their mother explained to Robert that he was under a lot of stress looking after Simon. Stress he wasn't ready for and unless he took a break from it he would make himself ill and wouldn't be able to look after himself let alone Simon. It was this fact that eventually convinced him to go. Simon rose around 11 and ambled down to the kitchen where he found Robert's mum. "How are you this morning?" She asked. The answer was obvious, but she wanted to get him talking, talking about his feelings rather than let him bottle it up inside. "I'm ok." Simon replied, but the sound of his voice told her otherwise. "Do you want a cuppa?" She asked. "Please." He answered as he sat down, placed his elbows on the kitchen table and rested his head on them. "I know it hurts, love, but it does get better. Believe me." "But why them? Why not the guy in the van?" Simon asked. "I don't know, but rest assured his conscience will bother him for a long, long time." "But why not him?" Simon's depression was starting to turn to anger. "That's one thing we may never know." They both sat there staring in to space. Robert's mother was asking herself the same question. Simon was thinking about the good times they had had together. Their thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the phone ringing out in the hall. She went to answer it. When she came back, Simon was gone. His half-finished cup of tea was sitting on the table. "Simon . . . Simon." She called, but there was no answer. She went upstairs and checked his and Robert's room, nothing. "Simon." She called again, but still no reply. Quickly she checked the rest of the house, nothing. This wasn't like Simon at all. Usually he would let some one know where he was going. It was a rule that both families had. She picked up the phone and dialled her husband's number. "Hi Love. What's wrong?" Her husband asked. "It's Simon. He's wandered off." She told him. "When did you last see him?" "No more than 20 minutes ago." "What sort of mood was he in?" "Depressed but angry too." Robert's mother told her husband. "Oh." There was a pause. "Give the hospital a ring. He's probably gone over to see his baby brother. You saw how he was with him yesterday." "Ok." "I'll try and get away. See you soon." There was a click and the line went dead. Robert's mother rummaged through the phone book to find the hospital's number before giving them a ring. She spoke to a nurse and explained the situation. There was one thing that puzzled her though; the tone of the nurses voice. Robert's mother pondered this for a few seconds before picking up the phone again and hitting the last number redial button. She spoke to one of the doctors this time. She explained the situation again, but more clearly this time stressing the point that Simon wasn't a risk to the baby, far from it. The doctor's tone suggested that the nurse thought Simon was out to harm the baby or something horrible like that, which Simon could never do! The doctor picked up on her point and said they would keep an eye out for him and that they would phone if he showed up. Robert's father arrived home shortly after 1pm. He had driven home via the school and picked Robert up before they toured round the places where Robert thought Simon might have been. No sign though. After phoning the hospital again they decided to call the police. Within an hour every policeman in the area was either looking for Simon or was keeping a look out for him. Time seemed to pass slowly for Robert and his parents. In the end Robert got his bike out and just cycled around the area checking and rechecking everywhere he could think of. It was getting dark by now and everyone involved in the search was getting more and more anxious. Robert had an idea. There was one place Simon used to talk about, but Robert had never been there. He quickly told his parents and the officer that was with them before jumping on to his bike and cycling off after picking up his dad's mobile and stuffing it into his pocket. It took him a while to find the place. Simon had always been pretty vague about where it was, but Robert found it. It was a small wooden shack on the railway embankment just outside of town. It nestled in amongst some trees with the main railway line to London above and behind it. Trains rumbled by every few minutes and in the dark it was quite scary. There was a gap between two trains and in the near silence Robert thought he heard someone sniff. He heard it again as he crept closer to the shack. The door was slightly ajar and as a particularly long freight train rumbled past he peeked inside. He could just make out the shape of a figure sitting huddled up on the floor near the far wall. Robert opened the door a little wider and the figure looked up at him. Robert could feel his heart pounding in his chest. He recognised the dirt-streaked face immediately. "Si'?" He asked softly. "How did you find me?" Came a question to answer his own. "I remembered what you told me about where you went when you wanted to be alone." "Then why did you come here if you knew this is where I came to be alone?" Simon asked Robert. "I may not know exactly how you feel at the moment, but I do have a good idea. Besides, you may want to be alone, but I need you love. I need you more than anyone else at the moment." "Then why did you go to school today?" "I didn't want to. I wanted to stay with you, but I was made to go by mum." Robert sat down at Simon's side. Simon turned and wrapped his arms around Robert and hugged him so tight Robert found it hard to breathe. Then Simon sealed his lips on Robert's and the two kissed. In the instant their lips met, Simon knew he needed Robert as much as he needed his mum. Robert felt his fear of loosing Simon lift as relief set in. The kiss continued for several minutes until the mobile phone rang. Robert looked at Simon as if asking what he should do. "My mum says I must go back and look after little Michael and the biggest baby of them all. You." Simon replied to Robert's look. Robert answered the phone. "We're on our way home dad!" Robert said before ringing off and switching the phone off. They both stood up and walked down the embankment and climbed over the fence at the bottom. Together they walked hand in hand along the muddy path to the road where they were quickly picked up by a police car. Once safely back at Robert's, Simon told them all - the police officer, Robert's parents and Robert - why he needed to be alone for a while. When they were all satisfied Robert took Simon off up stairs for a bath. Needless to say they both ended up in the tub together. They spent a night where they both needed someone to hug and be hugged, but for different reasons. Simon was looking for support through this very difficult time and Robert need Simon to feel that he was there for him what ever happened. A point Simon knew all to well. Their night started of with them hugging and Robert was interested in some fun, but Simon wasn't really in the mood - which caught Robert by surprise. He hadn't really thought about that part of their relationship as of yet, but now that he did, he understood. But all in all, he was just happy to have Simon back. Robert was woken by the sound of crying more than once that night. On one occasion, Simon was telling him about a particular event with his family when Robert found tears creeping across his face too. Neither Simon nor Robert heard Arthur leave for school that morning, but were told later on that he had kissed each of them on the forehead. Robert's family had been close, but after the death of Simon's parents, they had realised just how much they loved each other. What's more, this newly found love included both Simon and little Michael. Robert rose first and after he had eaten some breakfast talked an idea over with his mother, an idea that would help cheer Simon up. After making a phone call with the help of his mother, Robert went up stairs and gently woke Simon. They headed out of the house about an hour later. Simon was really puzzled about what was going on. Robert had stopped him at the bus stop. "Why have we stopped here?" Simon asked. "Cos' we are getting' the bus." Robert replied with a knowing grin. "Come on Robby. What's going on?" "You'll see soon enough." Robert replied with a grin that would rival even the biggest Cheshire cat. "I've had enough surprises for one life time." Simon stated. "Don't worry. You will love this one for the rest of your life!" Simon looked puzzled. What the hell is he up to Simon thought to himself. The bus came and Robert bought the tickets. Simon looked out of the window at the familiar streets and shops. They all seemed so different to him now. He started thinking about what he was going to do for money. Where would he live? The bus juddered to a halt, which brought him back from his musings. "Why have we come here?" Simon asked. "There is only one small reason we would come here you dope!" Robert said, his grin as big as ever. "You little sod! Why didn't you say we were coming to see little Michael." Simon's cheered up considerably. They walked through the halls and eventually found the maternity wards. After speaking to the receptionist both Robert and Simon were shown to a side ward. It had four or five little cots in it, but only one had a baby in. They walked over and read the name on the foot of the cot. It read "Michael Robert." There was no stopping Simon now. He looked over the side of the cot and carefully reached in. Little Michael was awake and grasped Simon's finger. "Look at his little fingers Robby. They're so tiny." Simon stated in a calm and for once happy voice. "Just think, you were like that once Si'." Robert said as he started to chuckle quietly. "Hello lads. I was warned you would be in." The nurse said. "Would you like to wait for a while, while I feed him?" "If it is all the same, I'd like to feed him." Simon said looking at the nurse and trying to put on puppy dog type expression. "You realise, of course, that if you feed him, you wind him and change him?" The nurse replied. "I don't care. I'm all he has in the world and I have to do everything I can for him." "What about your brother here?" She asked. "That's not my brother, that's Robby, my lover." Simon said without thinking. Robert blushed violently and when Simon realised what he said he did too. The nurse looked a little shocked initially, but wrote it off as a joke and thought nothing more of it. She supervised Simon closely as he picked his brother up and carried him to some comfy chairs at the end of the room. Simon sat there cuddling and talking to his baby brother while the nurse and Robert went to get the baby's bottle. Simon spent the next 10 – 15 minutes in cloud cuckoo land as he fed and winded his brother. The nurse was quite impressed. "You know what comes next, don't you?" The nurse asked Simon. "Yea. The smelly bit." Simon replied with a grin. Carefully he lay the baby down on the changing mat and under the instruction of the nurse nervously started to remove his brother's nappy (diaper). True to form, there were no surprises in store for them. The smell hit them head on. Robert was creasing up with laughter as he watched Simon trying to get the nappy out from under the baby with one hand and hold his nose with the other. The nurse helped Simon clean his brother up and was impressed yet again at how quickly he seemed to be learning new skills. Simon turned the mat so that his brother's feet were pointing towards him, as he gently played with his brother's hands with his own. WEEE - or should I say PEEE - Simon was drenched as he took full force of his brother's present to him. Robert collapsed in a heap with laughter, even the nurse giggled a bit, but Simon just ignored it. As long as his brother was safe and happy he didn't give a damn. After putting a fresh nappy on Michael, Simon let Robert cuddle him and before long the baby was sound asleep. So was Robert as he sat in the chair. "He looks worn out." The nurse commented. "He is. He has been looking after me ever since my, sorry, Michael's and my parents were killed." For the first time since he had realised they were going to see his brother, Simon's sadness returned. The nurse put a hand on his shoulder. "It's OK. I think everyone in the hospital has heard about what happened." The nurse paused. "You were being serious just now when you said about him being your lover, weren't you?" "There is only one person I love more and he is asleep in his arms." Simon said looking at Robert. "Well, if I were you, I would keep that very quiet until you have a new family or it could really complicate things for you all." "Thanks, but I am fed up hiding my love for someone who truly loves me and asks for nothing in return." "Just keep it quiet until after your adoption comes through." The nurse said gently. She too was a little surprised at how open Simon was being about his relationship with Robert. "What adoption?" Simon asked a few moments later. "You haven't been told? Oh bother. When the lady phoned this morning she told me about it and she also warned me that you two weren't quite like other boys, but she didn't elaborate. Right, now lets put Michael to bed shall we and let your friend sleep a while." "Ok." It was easier to say than do. Robert had a firm, but gentle grip on the baby and they had to wake him to get the baby free. With Michael safely tucked up, Robert and Simon headed off to the cafeteria for a quick bite of lunch before it was time for the next feed etc. "Did you know your mum and dad are going to adopt me and Michael?" "Dad mentioned it yesterday morning, but told me not to say anything in case it didn't go through." Robert replied nervously. He wasn't sure how Simon would react to this snippet of news. "Why shouldn't it go through?" Simon asked. "We don't really have enough bedrooms for one thing. How do you think Social Services would react if they knew we were sleeping and things together?" Robert replied quietly. "I see what you mean." Simon sat there deep in thought. The only answer he could come up with brought him back to his mum and dad, which brought the pain of his loss back. After another cup of coffee the boys went back down to the maternity ward. They were allowed straight in this time. "Ok Robby. It's your turn to be pissed on." Simon said with a snigger. "Me? Why me?" Robert asked not really liking the idea of being peed on. "You're his uncle and my best friend." Simon said with a wink. Robert knew what he meant straight away. "Besides if I am going to look after him you're going to help me." "Ok." Robert said smiling. The nurse watched as Robert fed, winded and then changed the baby. He wasn't as good as Simon, but then again, he was more aware of the risks than Simon was. Simon had just sat down in the chair and was settling little Michael when Robert's parents came in the door. The smiles on their faces broadened when they saw the boys and their smiles turned to laughter when Robert told them about Simon's soaking. "Well, shall we head for home?" Robert's dad asked. "Can't I stay with Michael a bit longer?" Simon asked desperately. "Why not take him home with you?" The nurse replied. Simon's eyes lit up like floodlights. He couldn't have been any happier. All the way out of the hospital Simon was stopping people and telling them about his new brother. But there was another surprise in store for the boys. Robert wandered in the direction of where his dad said he had parked the car, but Robert couldn't find it. Eventually his dad put him out of his misery and pointed to a brand new PCV. It was Robert's turn to wear a broad gin that stretched right across his face. With the baby safely strapped in to his new carry cot and the boys seat-belted up on either side they set of for home where yet more surprises were in store. Robert's mum showed them up to her bedroom where they found a new cot for the baby. Simon's expression dropped a little. He was hoping the baby would be in with them, but Robert sorted that out by asking where they would put the cot. All in all, it was a very good day for them all. When the evening finally came, the boys decided to take a long bath together. They talked and talked about all the great things they were looking forward to teaching young Michael. After they finished, Simon quickly dried himself off first and dove straight into bed, but Robert had a little something special in mind. Hoping his lover will have re-found the mood, he reached out for the jar of Vaseline and prepared himself. He crawled into bed and cuddled up to his lover. Robert soon had his hand wrapped around Simon's pride and joy, and he could sense that tonight, his lover was more willing than the previous night. The young boys looked deep into each other's eyes and instantly, the message was passed. Simon started saying: "Let me get the--" but his lover stopped him and smiled at him. Right away, Simon knew what that smile meant and returned it with his own smile. Robert turned around in the bed, his back to his lover. He reached behind himself and unlocked the door. Soon enough, he felt his lover knocking at the door and then entering. When Simon was fully inside, he wrapped his arms around his lover and both boys rested. And so, they fell asleep. Happy. In love. Linked together. It is a shame the following nights wouldn't be so peaceful. After all, babies do tend to work a little like alarm clocks that go off every couple of hours.
