Date: Tue, 24 Jan 2006 21:11:37 -0800 (PST) From: torchrocket@yahoo.com Subject: Stay with Me 3 All the warnings and legal stuff from previous chapters apply. Yes, I'm still alive. So sorry it took me this long to write this chapter! I know I emailed most of u and said that it'll be ready around Xmas day... and here we are almost a month later! I'm not going to even make any excuses, but then again I do have a very good reason that I can't tell you :P Anyways, you gutted through the long wait, and here's your reward! Stay with Me Chapter 3 Dylan wasn't sure what woke him up. It was probably the smell of breakfast sausages that emanated from downstairs in the kitchen, but then again, the feeling that his bladder was about to burst could've also made its contributions, not to mention the fact that his tool was hard enough to hammer nails. Scrambling out of bed and almost tripping over his sheets along the way, Dylan scampered out of his room and sprinted to the bathroom, his boner wagging joyfully in the air. He spread his legs in front of the toilet bowl and desperately attempted to empty his bladder, but his rock-hard pecker made the job darn near impossible. Groaning with frustration, Dylan scooted his firm little butt back while leaning forward, resting a hand on the bathroom wall behind the toilet. That seemed to help a little. Finally, the contents of his bladder slowly and painfully made its way out of Dylan's body, creating a miserably small stream of golden liquid from his dick into the toilet. Dylan sighed in relief after he was done. His peter thank god is also beginning to deflate. It was when he reached the bathroom door that he realized he was stark naked. Blushing slightly, Dylan opened the bathroom door just wide enough for him to poke his head out. Scanning downstairs, he saw no sign of his mother. Gritting his teeth, Dylan jerked the door fully open and made a mad dash back to his room, breathing a sigh of relief when he closed his door. It took Dylan a minute to remember where he had put his boxers. He pulled them on along with other pieces with of clothing, checking himself in the mirror. He was wearing baggy cargo pants with a fitting black and dark green t-shirt. He ran a hand through his blond hair roughly several times, giving it a tousled kind of look. Not bad, he thought to himself, grinning slightly, after which he headed downstairs. "Morning, mom." Dylan greeted his mother, trying to sound normal. "Morning, dear. Breakfast is on the table." Teresa was sitting on the couch reading a newspaper. "Thanks." Dylan sat down at the table, forked a sausage and shoved the whole thing into his mouth. "So since when did you decide to sleep naked?" Teresa asked innocently after a while, peering at her son over the edge of the newspaper. Dylan choked on his mouthful of sausages and eggs. "How... how did you know that?!" He managed to choke out after a few seconds of deafening silence, his cheeks burning with embarrassment. "Well..." Teresa shifted slightly on the sofa, a smirk forming on her face. "It was kind of hard to miss you when you went streaking on the walkway upstairs." Dylan looked mortified, and Teresa couldn't help but break into fits of giggles. "Oh relax honey! I've already se..." "Don't say it!" Dylan cut in quickly. He did not need to be reminded that his mother has seen him in his birthday suit more times he can count. "Just... just don't mention it ok?" Teresa giggled some more, but refrained from saying anything else, to Dylan's relief. He hastily finished his breakfast, gave his mother a hug, strapped on his backpack and walked to the bus stop. Even the school bus is quieter than usual without Codie. Dylan could only rouse so much excitement by himself, and it was nothing compared to their combined powers that usually felt like the bus was gonna tip over. Needless to say, the teachers were delighted that Codie was once again absent from school. Apparently, they did not know what had really happened. In a way, Dylan was somewhat relieved, as he certainly did not want teachers and students alike swarming him with questions about Codie's condition, as that would leave him in a rather awkward position, one that he would rather not be in. Walking through the double doors of his school, Dylan groaned inwardly at the prospect of another Codie-less day at school. And it was only Wednesday! Codie had told him that he would be resting at home for around five days, and that meant that he won't come back to school till at least next week! Wondering how he was going to survive the next two days without his comrade-in-pranks, Dylan did not notice when Kim walked up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder. "Twitchy little boi, aren't you?" Kim smirked after Dylan retracted his claws and jumped down from the ceiling, still recovering from the near-heart attack. "Jesus Kim! You know I'm jumpy in the morning!" Dylan gasped with his hand clutched over his heart. "And I feel especially vulnerable without my brutha coverin' my back...know what I'm sayin'?" Kim cocked an eyebrow. "Uh huh..." She replied wryly. "Are you going over to Codie's house after school?" "Either that or I'm quitting school. This place is like a torture chamber when Codie's not around! Well, it's still one even if he is around, but it would be a fun one." So, the two headed into their respective classrooms. Dylan did the best to keep awake during the day, but despite his efforts he couldn't help but fall asleep in history class, the droning voice of his teacher being no help. Time seems to be purposely slowing down just to annoy him. Finally, after an agonizing 7 hours the final bell rung. "The universe hates me." Dylan stated matter-of-factly as he approached Kim's locker. A text book suddenly flew out from behind the locker door, heading straight for Dylan, who was caught off-guard and allowed the book to hit his chest rather painfully before he was able to clutch it with both arms. "OOF!" Dylan cried out as the heavy book thumped him. "What was that for?!" "Take this to Codie when you go to his house today. The homework is in the pages." Kim poked his head out from behind the locker door, smirking a little seeing that the projectile had hit its intended target. "He HAS his own textbook you know..." Dylan scowled, rubbing a spot on his chest where a corner of the book jabbed. "No he doesn't. It's in his locker." Dylan cocked an eyebrow. "Oh? How do you know that?" "Through the magic of speech." Kim answered sarcastically, reaching into her pocket and taking out her cell phone, giving it a slight wave. Dylan rolled his eyes. "Spare me... Wait, you're not coming?" "Nope. I have to help with the decorations in the commons for Christmas." "Oh... we'll have fun with that..." Dylan gave Kim a quick hug. "And yeah I'll say hi to Codie for you!" He quickly said when Kim opened her mouth to speak. Kim gave Dylan a warm smile. "You have fun too." Dylan didn't take the school bus to Codie's house -- it was too slow in his opinion. Instead he jogged there all the way from school, his backpack bouncing on his back, a grin on his face the whole time. He sprinted the rest of the distance all the way up to the door when Codie's house appeared around the corner, knocking four times in rapid succession. "Come on in Dylan!" Lily's voice could be heard from within. Dylan opened the door and tried to keep his face straight. "Good afternoon Mrs. Merlando." He nodded politely at Codie's mom, who was sitting at the kitchen table reading a magazine. "Oh, are you making oatmeal cookies again?" Dylan asked after the unmistakable smell reached his nostrils. "Charming as always." Lily looked up and smiled at Dylan. "Yes I am, but they're not done yet. I'll send some up when they are. Codie's in his room by the way. Go on, I know you've been dying to see him all day." "OK! Thanks!" Dylan can no longer contain his excitement as he rushed upstairs and into his best friend's room. Codie's room was larger than Dylan's. It has a full-sized bed, a desk with a computer and CD cases here and there, an acoustic guitar leaning against it, a TV stand with Codie's own PS2, and Green Day posters on the wall. However Codie was not in his room. Dylan treaded through the clothes strewn about on the ground to the restroom door, which was closed. "Codie?" He knocked on the door lightly. "Are you in there?" No answer. "Hellooooooo? Oh Coooodie! If you don't answer in 3 seconds I'm coming in!" Dylan sing-songed to the door while placing his hand on the doorknob. He twisted it slightly and found that it was unlocked. Still no answer from within. "One... two... three! You had your chance!" Dylan said gleefully as he twisted the doorknob as swung the door open. Nothing in this world was more terrifying and heartbreaking than Dylan's scream of terror as he laid his eyes upon the scene in the bathroom. Lying in a puddle of blood face down in his boxers was Codie, both his wrists slit deeply and his left hand loosely clutching the same razor he used previously in his failed attempt to leave this world. The sound of the bell woke Dylan up. He snapped his head up from the table and looked around wildly with a confused look in his eyes, his shirt partially plastered to his skin from the sweat. The realization of the whole thing being a dream slowly came to him and his breathing slowed down somewhat. He gathered up his things and headed out of the room, trying to appear nonchalant. His worry rose up again, however, as he approached Kim's locker. Would she still throw that book at me? Dylan thought anxiously. If she did, then what happened to Codie could've happened also. His blood ran cold as the very same textbook from his dreams flew at him again from behind Kim's locker. This time however he was ready for it and caught it. Swallowing hard and desperately trying to stay calm, Dylan asked in a trembling voice: "Did... did Codie call you before and tell you to have me bring this book because he left his in the locker?" Kim poked his head out from behind the locker with a surprised look on her face. "Yeah, he did. How did you know? Did he call you too?" That was it. Dylan turned around on his heels and bolted for the door, his heart going roughly 286 beat per minute. He could hear Kim's confused voice as she tried to call him back. Dylan didn't stop. He raced through the hallway, trying to dodge the mass of students as best as he could, and burst through the door as he began sprinting to Codie's house. It was truly a miracle Dylan did not get hit by oncoming cars as he tore down the street. Angry horns honked at him as he took every little chance to cross a street, leaving the nice crossing guard flabbergasted. He managed to make it to Codie's house unscathed in record time, practically leaving a trail of blaze in his wake he was running so fast. Dylan didn't bother to knock as he burst through the door. Cookies... SHIT! His insides churned as he caught the aroma, which didn't smell nearly as good now as it did in his dream. "Hi...can't talk...gotta pee...bye!" Dylan said hurriedly as he rushed upstairs. He did not want to alarm her in the off chance that Codie was fine. Crashing into Codie's room, Dylan once again noticed that it is empty. He scrambled across the room and crashed into Codie's restroom without knocking, expecting to see the limp body of his lover lying on the bloody linoleum floor. "HEY! What the heck?!" Dylan froze. There was no blood and no unconscious Codie. There is, however, an embarrassed and slightly angry Codie peeing in the toilet. After about two seconds of silence Dylan rushed forward and hugged the still-peeing Codie tightly from behind, who struggled to keep his aim right. "Look, I know we've gone past the friend zone now, but we've gotta have SOME boundaries, you know." Codie smirked after he finished peeing and turned around, returning Dylan's hug. Dylan managed to giggle slightly as he quickly pecked Codie on the nose. "Sorry... It's just that I had this dream that you... you... that you tried THAT again..." Dylan motioned towards Codie's wrist. "And you were lying in the bathroom in a pool of blood and you were bleeding from both wrists and holding that same cursed razor you used before..." A finger found its way to Dylan's lips and discontinued the trembling flow of words. "Hey now, calm down man. It's alright. You know I won't try that again. Not ever. I have no reason to. We promised we'd stay with each other forever, remember? I'm not about to go back on that promise." Dylan nodded quietly. Codie pulled back and gave his boy a reassuring smile. He took his hand and led him out of the bathroom. "Hey! You didn't wash your hands!" Dylan said playfully a moment later. "So? I doubt that you washed yours after groping me yesterday." Codie lightly patted Dylan's cheek a couple of times teasingly. "Oh, by the way... you look sexy today." Seeing Dylan's cheeks turn slightly red after he said that, Codie couldn't help but giggle. "I've always wanted to say that!" "Yeah yeah, have your fun!" Dylan shot back. "You're just jealous you can't pull this off!" Dylan struck a pose after hopping onto Codie's bed. "Oh yeah?" Codie challenged, climbing onto the bed after Dylan. He attempted to best his boy in the art of sexy-posing, but somehow Dylan's poses were always more... graceful. "Hmm..." Codie thought for a while. "Maybe not... but I can pull THIS off!" Without warning Codie's lightning fast hands reached over and unbuttoned Dylan's pant button and yanked his pants down to his ankles, leaving a stunned Dylan only in his boxers. It was during this unfortunate moment Lily chose to bring a plate of delicious hot-fresh-from-the-oven oatmeal cookies up to Codie's room. "Here you go boys! Don't leave crumbs ev... oh my!" Lily quickly turned around after she spotted Dylan with his pants around his ankles. He practically dove from the bed headfirst into the restroom. "I'm not even going to ask!" Lily giggled and backed into the room, leaving the plate of cookies on the desk. Codie was rolling around on the bed laughing his head off, ignoring Dylan's pleas to throw his pants to him. Lily just smirked and shook her head while she went back downstairs, muttering something about silly boys. "Jerk!" Dylan said angrily as he quickly ran to the bed and pulled on his pants, giving Codie, who was still laughing, a hard shove. "Oh c'mon! You can't tell me you didn't find that funny... deep down." Codie snickered. "Yeah, funny for YOU..." Dylan muttered irritably, sitting cross-legged on the bed with his back towards Codie. "Ugh, forget it. I guess all moms are seeing more of me than they should today..." "What?" "Never mind..." Dylan sighed and fell backwards onto the bed, closing his eyes. Shrugging, Codie grabbed a cookie and held it in his mouth. He leaned over Dylan's face and prodded his lips with the cookie. "I've got a treat for you!" Dylan couldn't help but giggle when he opened his eyes. He opened his mouth and lifted his head off of the bed slightly to take a big bite out of the cookie, their noses touching briefly. "Oh god..." Dylan moaned. "These are so good. You guys can make a fortune selling these." said Dylan, raising his head and tearing another chunk of the cookie out of Codie's mouth. "Yeah, they are pretty good..." Codie commented, munching up the rest of the cookie. "But I bet this tastes even better!" With that, Codie leaned in again and planted a succulent kiss on Dylan's lips, which was returned eagerly. Without breaking the kiss, Codie climbed on top of Dylan, straddling both legs on his sides. He pulled back and just sat on Dylan's groin, smiling down at the cute face of his lover. "Uh, not that I don't enjoy this, but I think you better get off me now. If your mom comes in we'd have a hard time explaining why we're in this position... and the tent in our boxers." Dylan commented with a smirk, thrusting his hip upwards a couple of times lightly. "Ohhhh..." Codie moaned through closed eyes. "You do that again and I'm gonna get thrown in jail for sexual molestation of a minor." Grinning mischievously, Dylan thrust his hips again, more forcefully this time. Codie opened his eyes and looked down on the smiling face of his lover, a surprised expression forming on his face, which was quickly replaced by an identical grin on Dylan's face. Hopping off the bed, Codie rushed to the door and shut it, turning the lock. Then he leapt the distance between the door and the bed, landing next to Dylan, whose heart beat wildly and pants tented out prominently in anticipation of what's going to happen in the next minute or two. Codie reached a hand over and unbuttoned Dylan's pants again. He was about to pull it off before a hand reached over and grabbed his wrist. "Wait..." Dylan panted. "Do you mind if we do this... Friday? I'll sleep over at your place and we can do it properly." "Oh... uh, s... sure." Codie mumbled after a few seconds of silence, pulling his hand off and sitting up on the edge of the bed. Zipping up his pants, Dylan also sat up on the edge of the bed next to Codie. "Well that was the best sex I've ever had." Dylan smirked, draping an arm across Codie's shoulders, expecting a smart-ass reply across his buddy. There was none, however. Codie slumped his shoulders some more and turned his face away from Dylan. "Codie?" Dylan tried to look at his lover's face, but Codie kept turning away from him, eventually falling back onto the bed with his face buried in the pillow. Dylan is confused. He couldn't wait to express his love to Codie either, but he didn't expect Codie to act like this just by suggesting that they wait till Friday... then it suddenly dawned on him. "Codie? You aren't by any chance sad because you thought I was rejecting you and thinking that you aren't cute enough for me are you?" Codie sniffled once, but didn't answer. Grinning, Dylan lay down by his boy and positioned his mouth next to his ear. "You know that's not it Codie. I think you're the sexiest kid in school, and I bet lots of girls agree with me. I just thought that our first time should be, you know, official. I wanna do it properly, not with your mom downstairs, and me hoping she won't come upstairs again to interrupt us when we were in the middle of... you know. That's all, I swear!" Codie turned his head slightly and peered at Dylan with one eye, a small grin adoring his face. "I love you." Codie whispered. "I. Love. You. Too." Dylan replied firmly, planting a kiss on Codie's head. Codie sat up and kissed Dylan on the cheek, blushing slightly. "Sorry about that..." "Don't sweat it!" Dylan cut in before he could finish, his gaze falling onto Codie's guitar. "Besides, you can always make it up by playing me a song!" Raising an eyebrow, Codie hopped off of the bed and grabbed his guitar. "You know, now that you mentioned it, there IS a song I kinda wanna play for you... I've been playing it for a while now, but no one has heard me playing it... not even you. It's the song I play whenever I start thinking about you and whether we will ever be together." Codie blushed some more, tuning his guitar. "Ohhhh!" Dylan's eyes lit up. "That's so sweet! What song is it?" "It's called `True', by Ryan Cabrera. Have you ever heard of it?" Dylan thought for a bit. "I've heard people mention it, but I haven't actually heard of the song." "Oh. Even better then! Just sit back and enjoy." Codie strummed a couple of times to make sure that the guitar is in tune, then he cleared his throat, getting ready to play for his lover. "Oooooh! Will you be singing for me too you little bard?" Dylan teased. "Hey c'mon now! I'm trying to be serious here! This song means a lot to me you know..." "Ok, ok. Sooowwy!" Dylan replied in his sheepish silly voice. Shaking his head a couple of times and flashing Dylan a quick `I forgive you' grin, Codie began to play the song he wanted Dylan to hear for the past half a year. "I won't talk, I won't breathe, I won't move till you finally see, That you belong with me..." Codie's gentle voice and soft picking of the guitar reverberated around the room. Dylan sat there with his mouth open, slowly being hypnotized by the entrancing music. "You might think, I don't look, But deep inside the corner of my mind, I'm attached to you... I'm weak, It's true... Cause I'm afraid to know the answer... Do you want me too? Cause my heart keeps falling faster...... I've waited all my life, to cross this line, To the only thing that's true... So I will not hide, it's time to try, Anything to be with you... All my life I've waited... this is true......" Codie isn't exactly American Idol material. In fact, his singing is mediocre at best. But to Dylan, it is the sweetest, most beautiful sound that ever greeted his ears. He sat still as a statue, even breathing lightly, afraid to disrupt the music. Slowly, the rest of the world seemed to dissolve to Dylan; everything was edging away from reality as they melt away like a dream until only Codie, his gentle voice and the soft melody from the guitar remained. A single tear forced its way out of Codie's closed eye, rolling slowly down his cheek. He didn't stop, however, as he kept playing and pouring his heart and soul into the lyrics. "All my life I've waited............ this is true..." Codie quickly wiped away the tear once the song was finished. He gave Dylan an awkward grin and noticed that Dylan was still staring at him intently with his mouth hanging open. "Uh... hello? Earth to Dylan! Anyone home?" Codie reattached Dylan's jaw and waved a hand in front of his eyes. "What did you think of the song?" "I... I..." Snapping back to reality, Dylan searched frantically for words that won't make him sound like an idiot, however he found none. So instead of talking, Dylan leapt onto the younger boy and engaged him in a most passionate kiss, taking Codie by surprise and causing both of them to fall backwards onto the bed. "Wow..." Codie panted afterwards. "That was the best review I've ever got." "Shh! No talking! Just... just stay here with me for awhile... please?" Dylan pleaded, leaning over and giving Codie a peck on the temple. Codie nodded softly. The boys shifted a bit on the bed and ended up in the position back in the hospital, with Dylan's head resting on Codie's chest and one leg draping over his. Codie stroke Dylan's wispy hair lovingly, occasionally placing a kiss on top of his head. The two stayed like this for about ten minutes, their hearts content and filled with love for one another. Dylan's head rose and fell along with Codie's chest. He couldn't believe how happy he felt just lying here with his boy. Resting his head on Codie's chest and just listening to his heartbeat had quickly became his favorite pastime as everything else moves down in rankings of importance to make room for the new champion. Dylan's cell phone suddenly rang, breaking the silence and making both boys flinch slightly. Dylan groaned and sat up on Codie, pulling out his phone. It was Kim. "Hey Kim. What's up?" "Was gonna ask you that. Why did you suddenly freak out or whatever and ran out of the school?" Kim's puzzled voice could be heard on the other end. "Oh... hehe, nothing. Just had a bad dream." Dylan blushed and avoided Codie's eyes. "Ooook... well anyways did you give him the book?" Dylan looked around and spotted the textbook that he flung onto the bed when he first ran in. He leaned over and grabbed it, and let it freefall onto Codie's stomach, make Codie emit a cute grunt. "There, I'm on top of it." Dylan smirked, right before he was grabbed and pinned down by Codie a few seconds later. . "Sounds like you two are having fun... well anyways I gotta go. See you guys later!" Their angelic giggling couldn't help but make Kim smile. She heard Dylan shout "Bye!" before the line went dead. She put the cell phone back in her pocket and turned around to head to the commons, but not before running into someone and knocking both of them down. "Ouch!" Kim squealed after painfully falling on her hip, accompanied by a grunt from the person she knocked down. "I'm so sorry! Are you ok?" A boy's voice sounded in her ear, a hand reaching down to help her up. Kim took the hand and got up with a wince. "Yeah... I'm f..." Kim's reply was cut short after looking at the face of the owner the hand belonged to. Staring back at her was the most beautiful pair of eyes she had ever seen. The color was nothing but mystical, greenish blue, almost emerald-like but not quite. Long, wavy and fiercely blonde hair crowned his head, split in the middle and hung down in graceful locks, partially concealing his eyes. His petit nose and mouth looked so delicate they look as if they had been carved of the finest marble by ancient expert Roman craftsmen. "I... err... ummm..." Kim felt herself turn red. The nameless boy was so cute she was having trouble breathing around him. "I'm... I'm Kim..." She managed to choke out and gave his hand, which she still didn't let go of, a quick shake. "Umm... what... how come I've never seen you before?" The mystery boy gave Kim a knowing smile, which prompted her to turn away in fear of what she might do to him if he stared at her for too long. "You wouldn't. I'm new here. I start classes on friday." He replied in his smooth boyish voice. "I'm Beau. Beau Hunter. Nice to meet you." Chapter 3 end Author's notes: And thus ends chapter 3! Yes, the character Beau is also real (except for last name) and is a friend I made recently. And yes Kim's reaction is perfectly normal if someone as gorgerous as Beau is standing in front of you :P But as always, the characters may be real but the story is NOT. The lyrics in this chapter are from the song "True" by Ryan Cabrera. I think it's an awesome song so please go listen to it! Even better, listen to it while reading that section of the story :P For those of you despairing thinking about how long it's gonna take for chapter 4 to come out... Well I really don't know for sure myself. But really, it couldn't possibly take as long as Chapter 3! This chapter took 2 months ten days and some change! So if you gutted through this wait, you can survive the next one! :P I'll do my best so you won't have to though! Is my writing improving? Am I getting worse? Or am I staying about the same? I wouldn't know for sure if you don't email me! I love receiving feedback after a chapter. Who wouldn't? It's you guys whom I write the story for! If you worked hard on something for others to enjoy you wanna know that they're enjoying it(or not)! So whatever you thought of the story so far, let me know please! My email is torchrocket@yahoo.com I have AIM too but I won't post it here. If you wanna chat u can email me and ask for it! Thanks again for reading!
