The future boys
Chapter 1.
In the beginning there was life on Earth but now the planet Coltrane was the newest planet to be dwelled by people of Earth.
Earth had runout of life as we know it. Nothing would grow in the soil. The rain stopped, the winds blew. The dust was now thick deep all over the globe.
The boys knew it would be safe to travel to Coltrane. Families now filled all the spaceships that would travel to the newest planet that was about three months away from Earth.
Mike, Benny, Scott and Nick were now in their capsules ready for a long ride to their new planet. All aged 12 they were the last group of boys to be transported to Coltrane.
As the ship blasted into the sky they all were locked into their pods and held in tightly with straps.
The space ship travelled out of earth's grasp and began a long journey a light year away from earth.
It was in their second month when all hell began with the pods being opened by the ship's computer. Alarms were sounding and dinging noises could be heard around the ship.
The only ones on the ship were the four boys. The spaceship was on a fully auto mode and no adults were needed to be on-board the small space vessel.
"What the hell is going on?" Benny said hearing the alarms going off. "I don't know, we must ask the computer what's happening." Mike said as he went to the control room where all the ships movements were made.
Scott and Nick stood by the main control panel seeing where the alarm was ringing. "It looks like we came out of warp." Benny said as he checked the computer logs and found that the ship was still a month out of arriving at Coltrane.
"So what do we do now?" Scott said as he looked at the readouts on the main panel. `We have to use the manuals and ride out the rest of the trip or see if we can fix the auto drive.' Mike announced.
"Hey Nick, go and check the radio and see if you can contact the station on Coltrane." Scott asked him.
Nick found the radio room and began a distress call to Coltrane but could not hear a reply. "Nothing yet you guys.' Nick said over the inter-com.
"Right, we might have to find a space docking station so we can check out our ship." Bobby quoted.
"You're the best one here to find a space docking station Nick' you're the one that got top scores on flying a ship this size." Scott remarked.
"Go and check the space maps and see if we a close to a docking station?" Mike replied. It took the boys 10 minutes to find the closest docking station so that the boys could fly to the repair station and take on fuel and food.
The docking station called Rover 9 was a twenty hour trip away from their travels to Coltrane. The boys decided that it was worth the risk to head to the docking station where they could link up the spaceship to the docking station for a review of their ship.
The ship arrived and after docking the boys met up with Qr6, a robot that would serve them with training and find problems with their spaceship.
"Qr6, we need some help, our ship came out of warp a month before we should have arrived at Coltrane." Bobby said as he hooked up their ship to the docking ship's computers.
"Please sit and eat some food, it will take two hours before the computer can do a read out on your spaceship." Qr6 said as he rolled across the floor checking all the read outs from the smaller spaceship.

"Not long, 10 hours to make it safe for you to travel again." Qr6 announced.

So after refuelling the ships fuel tanks and restocking any food they may use the ship was ready to head towards Coltrane.
The boys undocked and began the tracking towards Coltrane. It was still a month away for the boys arriving to the new planet.
Qr6 was made to help anyone who needed help and had over a million chips and stocked with all medical and emergency problems that might happen while the ship is in space.
`We have to go back into a deep sleep for the rest of the trip Qr6 so the ship is in your command." Bobby told the man sized robot.
The boys headed to their pods and waited for them to be given a sleep injection so they would be asleep until it was time to wake up.

Qr6 now in status was connected to the ships computers and would be called on if any help as needed.

A large planet now a day's trip away from the boys was there only hope of rescue. `Shit, what happened to us." Bobby grunted as he got out of his pod seeing Qr6 out of action.
A connection point had fallen off Qr6 so he was not notified about the dark hole. "It looks like we have travelled into the future somehow." Mike grunted as he tried to find the year and time where they were flying in.
"I am so sorry, I don't know why I was not called on to fix the problem and now we are about 6 light years away from Coltrane." Qr6 apologised.
"It's not your fault Qr6, look, the connection strip fell off your arm and you didn't know what was going on." Nick said as he took the computer's link and placed it on Qr6's body.
"We are so far away' it will take a very long time for us to travel to Coltrane." Qr6 said as he received data from the ship's computer.
"How long are we away from Coltrane?' Scott asked. "It would take us about fifty years to travel to Coltrane in normal way so we need to find that dark hole and return through it so we can make it to Coltrane more quickly." Qr6 replied.
`Fifty years, shit we will be old men by the time we got there to Coltrane." Nick moaned. `Yes, that is a long time, Qr6, is there a place we can land and do some sorting out stuff?" Mike asked Qr6.
"I have a planet that is not in our system but it is habitable." Qr6 announced. "Right then we need to see if the planet is a friendly one so Qr6 you need to find out any info on this planet." Scott told Qr6.
In a few hours Qr6 had found some info on the planet and it was an A class planet, it has oxygen, water and life.

No light forms were seen as the boys walked towards what could be a doorway. While the boys walked around the ship was closed off and only the boys could open it.

"Are you here to kill us?" Rue said with a worried voice. Tre was standing next to Romis and had a worried look on his brown face.
"We are on a spaceship to Coltrane and had to stop as we had some problems with a dark hole and now we are stuck here until we can work our way out of this hole." Qr6 said in his metallic voice.
More Templars boys arrived hearing the alarms ringing. All had grey long hair to their shoulders. A few of the alien boys were erect with their helmets changing color as their foreskins rolled back.

"We like to get comfortable, can we please sit down." Nick asked. Qr6 now ready to speak in any language found a small record on Templars and said that a small file of Templars was on his data system.
"Boys, these aliens you see are on a planet called Zunis and the planet we are on right now is a prison like state with only boys living here." Qr6 announced.

It would take a week to send and receive a message to the docking station. Qr6 did try to send a message to Coltrane but for some reason the messages were not being received there.
"It looks like we will be staying with you for a while' we have to sort out a way of getting us out of this time warp and head back to Coltrane." Scott announced.

"Yes, we are implanted by guards in the cells we were in and only the guards can use the guns and they are the only ones who can remove the explosives." Quetta replied.
"We have to try and grab one of these guns and help you out." Bobby remarked. "How far is your home world from this planet?" Mike enquired.
"Its two hundred quatrains away from here." Rue replied. "That is about a day's trip in our space pod." Qr6 replied.
"We have to try and grab one of those guns and help these poor boys and see if we can change the way they are treated." Nick stated.
"We hope you can change the ways of our founders but they are stubborn and think gay sex is wrong." Tye replied.
"Our home world Coltrane will help out, we have people who can help you." Nick grinned. "We have to find a way to get to Coltrane first." Mike announced.
