It's hot in Palm Springs, Florida. The boys are busy sorting out their camping gear as the boys are heading to a large family gathering at a family reunion.

 

Timmy, Cody, twins Charlies and Nick, Peter and youngest brother Jack' Timmy's brother are now sorting out their sleeping bags and tents ready to stay with their grandparents farm in southern Florida.

 

The trip will be about two hours by car. Everyone is ready to see the farm life in a town called Medlow Springs. It's about 100 miles south of Orlando.

Timmy's mom said that his friends could come as they were now like family. `Boys, time to hit the road." My mom said as we all piled into the 8 seater van. Dad has been wanting a bigger van as our family likes to camp and having a bigger vehicle we would have more room to sit and not feel so cramped.

 

"Oh wow, I can't wait to see all the animals." My brother Jack says as we drive on highway 21 South. "You just want to watch the cows getting their fun times with the males." I replied.

"I want to show off my speedos to your cousins." Cody grins. "Yeah, don't we all." Charlie says. Nick nods his head as he is ready to show more than his speedos to the other male cousins who will be arriving to gramps farm.

 

The trip soon ends when dad drives onto the huge farm and you could smell that we are now on a farm when the smell of shit hits your nose.

"It sure smells of shit." Cody says whispering to me. "Get over it Cody, look there is Scott, Mike, Custer and Sandy." I yelled as my cousin's got out of their cars and ran towards us.

 

Everyone hugs and kisses as all the families welcome one another. My dad's grandparents are the ones who are having the family reunion. My mom does not have many relatives like my dad does.

 

"Boys, set your tent by the big oak tree, it will keep the shade on your tent so that you won't cook inside your tent." My gramps tells us. Dad is now unpacking the tent and camping gear as are my cousins.

 

We all set up our tents and soon have a camp fire set up when we want to cook some marshmallows. The smell soon passes as my friends are no longer moaning about the smell of poop.

 

"Boys, your cousins from upper state will be here soon and the girls will be staying in the barn so don't go in there and annoy them." My grana says.

 

"Oh we won't, tell them to stay away from our tents." Jack replies. "I will my baby boy." Grana says as she hugs Jack and splats a load of kisses all over his face.

"So where is the pool?" Nick asks while pulling his speedos up. "It's by the back yard." I said. Our camp site is about 20 feet away from the main house.

 

Some of the family brought their camping trailers and had them hooked up to power and water and had their picnic tables set up and their camping stuff sorted out.

Bacon and egg sandwiches are snapped up in a flash. Loads of snack type food is gobbled down and we had a lot of milk to drink, it is so fresh it was tapped just a few hours ago.

 

"So how do you like the outdoors?" My dad asks my friends. `It's cool, not like in the city." Peter says as he nibbles on a bit of turkey meat.

 

We ate up and nothing is left as over 20 people quickly polished off what was placed onto the tables. We sat around talking to family members that we have not seen in a year or so.

The girls were again sitting on their own at the next table and moaned that they were the last ones to be served. "Well girls, you can cook us lunch so you can see how it is to cook for over 20 people." Aunty Jill said holding her in the air.
