Near the end of the party, I was sitting alone on a bench watching some kids in the pool when Jason and his brother John came along and sat down beside me.

"Hi, you guys have fun?"

"Yeah," Jason said enthusiastically, "thanks for inviting us.

"Okay, but can we go by Red Box and pick up a movie for tonight?"

We slipped into Bastion's living room and stopped to listen. The shower was running so we knew at least one of them was in the master bath.
