While chapter one doesn't depict any real sexual activity, the rest of the chapters do contain graphic descriptions of sexual activity between teen and pre teen boys and occasionally boy adult contact. All contact was actually consensual, but the reader must keep in mind that these events happened in a different time. Things then where not like things are now. As always, if you are offended by this type of material, or you are under 18, or this type of material is not legal in your area, the time to leave is NOW! Troop 82 by L. Ray (red_dragon_ky@yahoo.com) Chapter 8 Mike's Birthday At the Troop meeting the first week in December, Mike handed out invitations to his Birthday Party which would be the following weekend. Mike was trying to be somewhat discreet about the invitations because he wasn't inviting the whole Troop, just his best friends. He had decided that he wanted to have a sleepover party at his grandparents house because they had an indoor pool with a large grotto and they could all sleep in there so that they wouldn't bother his grandparents. His Mom had talked it over with them and they agreed, but said that he could invite only 10 boys. Mike was turning 15, and wanted to share his birthday with his closest friends. Several of the younger boys kept trying to find out what Mike was doing, and he was starting to get a little upset. He had given me an invitation before we left for the meeting, and I offered to pass the rest of them out for him. He said "please tell them not to open them until they get home, so that no one else will know what's going on." I promised that I would do what he wanted, and took the six remaining invitations to pass them out. Mike had invited Danny, Bill, Gary, Ricky (my cousin), David L., a new boy in the Troop named Pete, that he and I knew from school, Joe, a friend of ours from school, and me. Mike said in the invitations that he didn't want any presents, but I was not about to let him have his fifteenth and not get a gift from his best friends. I talked to Danny and Bill at school on Monday and told them that I was going shopping for a gift for Mike and needed them to help me decide what to get him. We decided that we would go shopping on Wednesday, and would all meet after school to see what we could find. They had both decided that they would get a gift too or we could all put our money together and get one really good gift. That evening, Bill called David and Gary, and got them in on our plan too. I called Ricky and told him, and he was eager to join in on our plan. Tuesday at school, Pete caught up with me in the lunchroom, and asked if he could get in on it too. The seven of us met at the drug store on Main Street and sat drinking cherry cokes at the soda fountain in the back while we discussed our plans. I said "Look guys, kids who have birthdays close to Christmas always get the short deal on gifts, cause they either get them for their birthday, or for Christmas, but never for both." "Mike is our bud, and nobody knows him better than we do, and it isn't right for anybody not to get presents for his birthday," my dad paid me for working at the store, but I haven't got a clue what I want to get for him." Pete suggested a really nice shirt to which we all said "YUCH!" Danny said something about sports equipment, which we all considered a possibility, Mike was really into basketball, and he played tennis in the summer a lot. Several other suggestions were made and all of a sudden I got this idea. I must have looked like the cat that ate the canary, because the other guys all asked "what's up with you?" I had everybody move in close so that nobody else could hear, not that anyone was listening to a bunch of teenaged boys, and said "Listen, every time we go camping Mike carries all of his gear in that ratty old back pack that his Mom found at the church yard sale," everybody was listening intently. "What if we got him a really nice, new one?" As I looked at the group, everyone had a big smile, then Danny said, "Yeah, that one he has really smells too!" I asked, no one in particular, "How can we get out to the big Sporting Goods place out on North 27?" Danny got up and went to the front of the drug store. He was gone for several minutes and then came back smiling. "Let's pay up and head out front guys." Everybody looked at each other in confusion, but we got up and went to the cash-register and paid for our cokes and headed for the front door. When we walked out onto the sidewalk, there sat Leonard in the old van waiting. Danny smiled "Well, we needed a ride to Paul's didn't we?" We all piled into the old van and Leonard drove off. Leonard didn't say much on the way to the store. It was 10 miles from town, and I was beginning to worry that he was upset because Danny had had him leave his business early. When we got to the store, Leonard called me over to him. "This is really nice of you boys. I want to help out and we'll set Mike up right. Is that OK with you?" I looked up at him and said "sure, that'll be great!" We all walked in and Leonard made some suggestions. We found everything that we were looking for and went to the checkout and everyone got their money out. It came to $100.50, and between the seven of us we had $80.00. Leonard put the rest of the money on the counter and we left the store. On the way back to town we all talked it over and agreed that everything would stay at my house until Friday and then we discussed how we should wrap the whole thing. We were pretty sure that we had decided how and what to do and the guys helped me carry it into my house and to my room. About an hour later, Danny called me and told me that his dad had found a box that he was sure would be big enough and they had gotten some wrapping paper too. He said that they would bring them over after dinner. Friday evening, Danny and his dad came by to pick me up to head out to Mike's grandparents house on the Big Clifty Road. It was a long drive and we kept talking about the gift, and how we hoped that Mike would like it. In a lot of ways, I think that Leonard was as excited as Danny and I were, even though he wouldn't be at the party. We had driven for about thirty minutes when Leonard turned into the drive. Mike's Mom met us in the driveway and said that we were a little early and that Mike had gone to the store with his grand dad. Danny and I looked at each other and smiled and then told her that we were glad that Mike wasn't there yet. We opened the back door of the van and got out the big box. Mike's Mom just smiled and said that she would open the door and show us where to put it. As we entered the house, I wondered why Mike's Mom had to work for my aunt cleaning her house. I knew that Mike's dad didn't live with them, but from the looks of the house, her parents were anything but poor. I wondered why Mike and his Mom didn't live with them. She led Danny and me out to the pool grotto and told us to put the box in the back corner behind the deck chairs. Then she gave us a big sheet to cover it with so that Mike wouldn't see it until we were ready. I heard Mike's voice just as we finished covering our "secret"and we hurried to the front end of the grotto. Mike and his grand dad came into the room and he seemed happy to see that Danny and I were the first to show up. Mike's grandma came out into the grotto and said that there was a car coming up the drive, and that Mike should go to the door and greet his guests properly. As Mike headed for the front door, his grandma headed back into her kitchen. Ricky, David, Bill, and Pete all arrived together in Ricky's dad's car, and Gary showed up shortly after them. Joe arrived at exactly 7:00. I figured that everyone was accounted for as Mike's grandma came in and said that the food would be ready in a few minutes. Mike looked like he was waiting for somebody as he appeared to count heads. He asked his Mom if anyone had called and she told him that no one had. At that, he looked almost disappointed. I asked him what was wrong and he told me that there was one more guest who was supposed to be here. When I asked who, he smiled and said "you'll see." At 7:15 there was a knock on the door. Mike yelled out, "I'll get it!" he ran to the front door and we could hear voices as he returned with his surprise guest behind him. Everyone seemed eager to find out who the mystery person was, and as he came into the room, my mouth dropped. Mike said "guys, this is my cousin, Isaiah. He's from Hazard." I looked at Bill, then back at Isaiah, then at Mike. I couldn't believe that I had shared a tent just a few months ago with my best friend's cousin and didn't know it. Mike looked at me and smiled a "shit eating grin" and I was speechless. As Mike was introducing every one to Isaiah, he came over by Bill and me and said, "And of course, you already know Bill and Larry." Mike's grandma came back into the grotto and said that the food was ready and we had better come get it before it got cold. She looked at Isaiah and turned to leave the room and stopped Mike's Mom and asked "what's he doing here?" Mike's Mom said "you did tell him he could invite whoever he wanted!" As we headed for the kitchen I asked Mike why he didn't say anything at the training weekend and he said, "We don't see each other that much cause my gran and his gran are sisters but they don't like each other, but when I saw him at our family reunion in September, he asked if I knew you. When I told him you were my best friend, he wanted to know more, so I told him that you popped my cherry. Then he told me what all you guys did at the camp that weekend and I had to invite him." We all finished eating and helped clean up and then thanked Mike's grandma for the great food. We went back out to the grotto, but Mike's grandma and grand dad went to the living room for the evening. When we got back into the pool grotto, we blindfolded Mike and told his Mom to make sure that he didn't peek. Danny and I went to the corner and got the big box and brought it up to where Mike was sitting. We told him to open his eyes and everybody yelled "Happy Birthday"! Mike looked really surprised and then said, "Guys, I said no presents." Danny chirped up and said "it was Larry's idea, but we all chipped in." Mike opened the box and he looked like he was going to cry. He reached in and pulled out a large back pack and he said "wow guys, I..." I said that he should look inside the pack. He opened it and pulled out a new winter weight sleeping bag, a canteen, a battery powered lantern and at the very bottom, a new pair of hiking boots. Mike swallowed hard, and said "I don't know what to say." I put my arm around his shoulder and said that he didn't have to say anything because he was our bud. His Mom got up and went into the house as she wiped her eyes on her napkin. Mike stood up and gave me a tight hug and kissed me on the cheek as he whispered, "I love you!" he then motioned for everyone to join in our hug. As they all moved in we kept hugging as Isaiah sort of edged the whole group toward the pool. None of us were completely aware of what was going on until we lost our footing and all of us ended up in the pool, laughing and yelling. Mike's Mom came in quickly and began to laugh hysterically as we pulled ourselves out of the pool in our soaking wet clothes. She went to the cabana box and pulled out several very large fluffy towels and handed them out She told us to take off our wet clothes and she would put them in the dryer to dry. then she told us that the heat in the pool area was set very warm so we shouldn't get cold. as she took the wet clothes and looked around at ten teenage boys all wearing towels and smiles, she said, "Have fun boys" and she headed into the house. We all looked at each other and threw the towels onto the chairs and headed back into the pool, whooping and laughing as we jumped into the warm water. We swam and dunked, splashed, and jumped and dived for nearly two hours, Isaiah swam over to where Mike and I were, at the edge of the pool and he grabbed me and turned me to face him, then he kissed me softly on the lips. He got up on the side of the pool and led me over to one of the chase chairs and sat next to my legs as he leaned forward and kissed me again, this time with more passion. I was suddenly oblivious to the sounds of the others as they laughed and splashed around in the pool. Then he said, "Wait here." He got up and went back over to the pool and leaned down to talk to Mike, then extended his hand to him and helped him out of the water. The two of them came over to where I was sitting, and told me to come with them. I got up and followed them to the back corner where we had previously hidden the gift for Mike and we all three got down behind the stack of chairs. Isaiah looked at me and said that he knew that I loved him, but he also knew that I loved Mike. As I blushed a little, I started to speak, but Isaiah put his finger to my lips as if to tell me to be quiet. He then told me that he loved me too, but he also loved Mike. Then he looked Mike in the eye, and said, I can't match the gifts that Larry has given you, but I do have a gift for you. Mike and I both looked a little bewildered as Isaiah moved his to his knees between Mike's legs and bent forward to suck in his cock. He sucked Mike lovingly and gently for several minutes and then raised up and looked at both of us as he said, "I will keep the other guys busy for 45 minutes, you two have 45 minutes, totally alone, to show each other how much you really love each other That's my birthday gift to you Mike." With that, he got up and ran and jumped into the pool and managed to get all of the others down to the other end of the pool to play some water games. Mike and I looked at each other for what seemed like an hour, then our lips suddenly met as we kissed, really kissed for the first time. We had kissed each other before, but they were in the throws of passion, or just plain silliness. This was a kiss of absolute love. There were rockets exploding, the earth was moving, and neither of us could catch our breath. It was the most tender kiss I had ever experienced or ever would. As we caressed each other, there was no lust involved, neither of us said a single word for the entire time, there was no need for talk, we each did exactly what our hearts told us to do. As I entered Mike, there was total trust. After I climaxed and we lay there in an unyielding embrace, there were no questions, no doubts. Each time we touched, it was as if we were touching for the very first time. When Mike entered me, I felt no discomfort like I usually did, only warmth as his body contacted mine. As he reached his climax, I reached a second, more powerful one and the whole situation was like a spiritual experience. It was as if everyone else had vanished. We were together, as one, as God had intended that we should be. Not two boys seeking sexual gratification, but two lovers, experiencing completeness. This was how the universe was meant to be. We held each other afterwards, and cried. As the tears ran across our kissing lips there was no saltiness to them, they were sweeter than sugar. I dried Mikes tears with my lips as I kissed him, and he dried mine the same way. I knew that if I died, right then and there, that heaven would have been a disappointment by comparison. All too soon, our time was up, as we heard the others calling for us to come and join them in the pool. Mike and I found Isaiah and we both grabbed him in a warm happy embrace and kissed him on the cheeks. We whispered to him, "Thank you!" After a while, the others all paired off and took the blankets that Mikes Mom had left out for us and settled in on the chases, but Mike and I returned to the spot behind the stack of chairs and spent the rest of the night together. We could hear the sounds of sex and giggling around the room, but we knew that here, it was just us. Chapter 9 In Conclusion That pretty much sums up the first year that I was in Troop 82. There were four more years of experiences, some good, some not so good. Of all the boys that came and went, I will never forget the ones from that first year. While a lot of what happened was definitely just youthful experimentation, several of the guys did turn out to be gay, and a few where BI. Most of them, however, went on to be total heterosexuals. I'm sure that that would not have been the case if Dr. Steve had had his way. I do keep up friendships with most of the boys from that first summer. Danny married and had two kids, he later took over his dad's business which he nearly lost in his divorce. Had his brother and cousins not owned equal shares of the business, she would provably have cleaned him out in the divorce? He never remarried and now lives alone. He rarely sees his two boys. Gary became a lawyer, and had a heart attack three years ago during a court case. He died before the ambulance got there. He weighed over 375 pounds. Ricky is very happily gay, and living with his lover of 23 years in upstate New York. I still see him at family gatherings and we talk fondly of our days in Troop 82. He says that he owes his sexual contentment to me. David was killed in Viet Nam three years after he graduated high school. He never got to see his son, who was born while he was in the service. I was a pallbearer at his funeral. James worked in an oil refinery and became an alcoholic after the plant closed and he couldn't find another job. He now lives in public housing on SSI benefits. Mark became a Dancer on Broadway. Last I heard from him, He was the lead chorus line dancer in "The Producers." He held tickets for me at the box office the last time I was in New York. The show was great and he is a lot sexier than I remember him being as a kid. Two years ago, Dr. Steve was being arrested for sexually molesting the boys in his Scout Troop, yes he was still an active leader. The officer who arrested him, was a former Scout from the early years of the Troop. He took Dr. Steve to his home to allow him to pack a few things to take with him to jail. While waiting for him, in his living room, Dr. Steve took a gun out of his desk drawer and shot himself in the head. He died instantly. Mike was given a "hot cocktail" at a party for his 18th birthday, The alcohol was mixed with coca cola and cocaine. He died three hours later at the hospital, in my arms. Part of me died with him. I still think of Mike often. And yes, I still love him. I honestly think I will always love him. And me, well, after Mike died I tried to convince myself that I really wasn't gay. Although I dated girls frequently over the years, and I occasionally still had gay relationships,I thuoght of myself as BI and I didn't get married until I was much older. We were married for 15 years and had a beautiful daughter. Three years ago, she left me, ironically for another woman. Go figure. My daughter lives with me, and she accepts the fact that I am gay, in fact she thinks it's pretty cool. We are not wealthy, but we are happy. We shared so much together back then, we loved, we laughed, we cried. I wouldn't have missed it for anything. As always, if you enjoyed the story, please feel free to contact me at adama1416@aol.com.
