I went back to Madeleine's and spent some time working furiously in the garden, thinking through what had just happened. Had Hannah seen or heard Tina and I fucking or did she just suspect? It was even possible she was so naive that she just thought we were spending too much time together and the video was intended to keep us from heading down a "dangerous path." But Tina was supposed to be coming over for dinner tonight; would she be grounded now? Had I screwed everything up by not being careful enough? Madeleine would be really disappointed in me. I desperately wanted to call Tina to ask her what was going on, but I didn't dare because I was afraid Hannah would answer. When Madeleine got home around 5:30, I told her everything that had happened. She told me not to worry. "We'll just go ahead as if she's coming and hope for the best. Think positive." So I started dinner as Madeleine showered and dressed. She emerged an hour later looking breathtaking in a tight, strapless black dress that showed off her strong shoulders and shapely contours. "I'll watch the food for awhile," she said. "You go get ready." "What should I wear?" "Wear your uniform," she said, referring to the exotic, revealing maid's outfit she'd had custom-made for me. "But Madeleine, she's my friend. I don't want to wear that." I'd felt so powerful with Tina that week; I didn't want to now look like a servant in front of her. Madeleine's eyes narrowed and her voice turned to steel. "Do you still work for me?" My heart leapt into my throat at the sudden admonishment, and my voice trembled as I answered, "Yes." "Then you'll wear what I tell you to wear." I nodded and walked away, both humbled and aroused by Madeleine's display of authority. * * * I took a long, hot shower and selected white panties, socks, and heels to complement the black-and-white uniform. When I came out Madeleine was sitting in the living room sipping wine, so I poured myself a glass and joined her. I stared out the window at the sky, which had turned cloudy. 7:30 came and went with no sign of Tina; it began to rain, softly at first and then with increasing force. The clock struck 8, and my heart sank. But just a few minutes after 8, the doorbell rang. Madeleine nodded to me and I went to answer it. It was Tina, soaking wet. She had on a sheer powder-blue dress that was plastered to her body by the rain, and her hair looked like she'd just stepped out of the shower. I took her in my arms. "I was worried." Tina, said nothing, clinging to me. Acting out of instinct, I led her to Madeleine's bedroom, where I stripped her out of her dress, bra, and socks -- everything but her panties, which ironically were relatively dry -- and used a towel to dry her from head to toe. "What happened?" I asked. "It was so weird, Morgan. After you left I went to my room and hid. I was sure that once my dad got home, Hannah was going to tell him all about us and I'd be grounded for the rest of my life, at minimum. When Dad called me down I was terrified, I was sure I'd never see you again. But all he told me was that they had a big dinner with their church group and that they'd be back late. Hannah never said anything to him. I have no idea what she knows or what she's thinking. So as soon as they left I took off. I walked all the way here." I wrapped Tina in a scarlet terrycloth robe and dried her hair, then planted a big kiss on her lips. I led her by the hand to the living room, where Madeleine was waiting patiently. I finally got to say what I'd been waiting to say: "Tina, this is Madeleine." They shook hands and Madeleine said, "We'd better get some dinner in this poor girl." She put her arm around Tina and steered her to the dining room as I went to the kitchen to get dinner. As I carried some dishes into the dining room, Tina looked over, and I could see her register for the first time what I was wearing. In this outfit I looked like half maid and half high-priced hooker, with my tits and ass shamelessly displayed. Tina's eyes flashed; she was, after all, a healthy, red-blooded teenage lesbian. I went to the kitchen for more dishes, and when I came back maybe five minutes later, Tina didn't even look up; she was gazing dreamily into Madeleine's eyes. I shouldn't have been surprised that Madeleine had put Tina under her spell so quickly; she just had a presence, some indefinable essence that put people at her mercy. But I was surprised, and also kind of jealous, though I wasn't sure of whom -- maybe both of them. It was a high-maintenance meal that required a lot of traipsing back and forth to the kitchen, and it seemed like every time I came back, Madeleine and Tina were sitting a little closer together, conversing in slightly lower tones. It was turning me on to see them together, but also making me more and more jealous, to the point where I finally sat down across from them and finished my meal in stony silence. "That was great, Morgan," said Tina. I muttered a barely audible thanks. "Morgan." It was Madeleine's voice, sharp, direct, and so affectless that it made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. "Be gracious to our guest." "I'm sorry, Tina," I said without looking up. "You're welcome." "Morgan, look at me," said Madeleine. When I raised my head she was staring at me unblinkingly, her gray eyes as cold as I'd ever seen them -- but with just a hint of a twinkle around the edges. "Clean up now and meet us in the basement." I was speechless. She was taking Tina to the basement after knowing her for what, an hour and a half? I cleared the table in a stunned silence, but I was fuming inside. I averted my eyes as I heard Madeleine's keys jingling, the door swinging open, and footsteps descending the stairs. I was trembling with mixed-up jealousy and longing as I loaded the dishwasher and got out the tray of cookies I'd prepared earlier. I tried to calm myself down. Madeleine was here, Tina was here, what did I have to be upset about? I'd been looking forward to this all week. I just hadn't expected Tina to succumb so easily; it was a blunt reminder of who the real power was here. I took a deep breath and started down the stairs.
