But this time, she was a bit more nervous, but not because she was afraid that she wouldn't pass the class, but because she knew the professor was going to pick on her to no end. Also a little of her nervousness was because this was the first day of classes of her senior year of college. This was the beginning of the end and soon it would be over and she would be out in the real world. Instead of depending on her writing abilities to get her good grades, she would be depending on them to earn a living. She had confidence in her ability to write but whether people would like what she wrote and more importantly be willing to spend their hard earned money on it was a whole different matter. This was becoming more of a concern for her and sometimes kept her up at night. She shook those thoughts from her head as she crossed the room sitting in the front seat on the far side of the classroom. She didn't know why, but that was always where she sat when she could. She opened her laptop and got it started. As it warmed up, she took a small cloth from her purse, using it to clean her glasses. Slowly her fellow classmates began to wander into the classroom, some of the students she knew, some better than others, from her other classes but a few she didn't as this was a journalism class and she hadn't taken many of those classes. She began to talk to the boy sitting beside of her as they waited for class to begin. She was in mid sentence when a slim blond young woman who had this air of confidence about her came into the room causing her to lose her train of thought. The boy she was talking turned to see what or who had caught her attention and when he turned back around her had the same smile on his face as she did. The young blond had a bright smile that made her even prettier. Her eyes flashed with excitement and that drew the young woman to her. She had on designer jeans and a designer blouse that looked very expensive. She also had on a pair of sandals that strapped up her calves that were in style and all the rich girls on campus were wearing them. There was also the look of determination on her face that told her that this was a woman that would not stop until she got what she was after. If she had known then, just how much trouble this pretty girl would get her into, she would have went screaming out the door instead of smiling at her when she looked her way. However she never got the chance to flee as the professor, Dr. Laurence, came into the room in his electric wheelchair. He had taken a bullet from a sniper in the back while covering an uprising in the Middle East. He was a well know and well respected reporter that had been all over the world covering about every dangerous situation that there was. When he had recovered from his wound, he went back to school getting his doctorate's degree and then he came back home to teach at this midsize state university, immediately making it's journalism program one of the best and the one young people who wanted to be a reporter come to. He went over to the desk putting his briefcase upon it, opening it, and taking out the role. He began to call out names, the one and only time he would do so during the semester. He didn't need to after that first day as no one who really wanted to be a reporter would dare miss one of his classes. He got to the third name on the list and he put the role down and he stared right at her. "Well I'll be damn, here you are again Alphabet, you just keep coming back. I do remember a few years back you saying that hell would freeze over before you'd take one my classes again but yet you keep coming back." "I was a freshman then and besides I'm still waiting for you to actually teach me something." She spit back at him and she heard a couple of gasps from the back of the room. But then they didn't know her and Dr. Laurence's history. At times she loved the man and at times she hated him but she knew that while he picked on her unmercifully, he also brought the best out in her writing. "Well if you would stop being so damn stubborn and listen to me, then maybe I would be able to teach you something," He spat back in a huff before picking the role back up and started to call out the rest of the names. While he acted like he was pissed at her for what she said, she could see the gleam in his eyes. He loved it when a student dared to challenge him and at the same time challenge themselves. While he continued to call out the role her mind went back to when she was a freshman and she had taken her first class with him as the professor. She handed in her first paper to him thinking that she had done well on it. At the next class she just knew she had done well when he started out the class reading aloud her paper and it was all she could do not to grin from ear to ear feeling so proud of herself. However once he finished reading, he then proceeded to point out all her errors in front of everyone. It was all she could do not to cry in front of him and that night, that night she cried herself to sleep swearing never to go back to that class and never ever have him as a professor. But when she woke up the next morning, she was determined to prove Dr. Laurence wrong; she got up and immediately began to write her next paper for his class. However she what she actually did was to proved him right; as he saw her talent and was intent on bring out the best in her. When she got her grade at the end of the semester she found that he had given her an A when she was expecting a C at best. So when she got back on campus after Christmas break, she went to see him even though she didn't have a class with him. It was during their conversation, that she realized that she had learned a great deal from him and that he thought that she could be a talented writer one day but she wasn't there yet. So after that, she took more of his writing classes and they fussed and fought for the whole semester. Normally she was a shy quiet girl but he had the ability to push her buttons and thus turn her into someone who would stand up for herself. She was still quiet and shy, but she had learned how to fight back and also she had learned to become a better writer. However no matter how much better she got, he would demand more and pick on her just as much as he did during that first class. She just didn't go back to her dorm and cry like she did the first time; however she did get up the next morning determined to prove him wrong all over again. She got her thoughts back on the class when he got to last name on the list and that name was Jillian Zackary and the "Here" that she heard came from the stylish, pretty girl, the girl who would get her into so much trouble. Dr. Laurence then went over what they would be studying in this investigative journalism class. She wasn't going to be a reporter but she took this class as she felt it would help her when she needed to do research for one of her future books. While she planned on writing fiction, basing it on a little bit of the truth would always lend a little bit of believability to the book. Besides this would be her last chance to take one of Dr. Laurence's classes so she couldn't pass up the chance to fight with Dr. Laurence one more time. Dr. Laurence told the class that the final and most of their grade would be based on an investigative article of their choosing. He would teach them the tools that they would need and help them along the way. They would do the article either on their own or with a partner from the class. The class only met once a week on Mondays for two hours so they had a week to decide what they wanted to do the article upon and if to do it alone or with someone. He then talked for the rest of the two hour class as he moved his wheelchair from one side of the room to the other. And when he got to her side of the room, he always made of point of asking her some probing question, thus showing her that he would be picking on her again this semester as he also knew that this would be his last class with her and he wanted to get his digs in while he could. It was actually him that suggested that she take the class and like a fool, she listened to him as she always did. Dr. Laurence took all of his allotted two hours and then an extra five minutes before he released them. She took her time closing her laptop down. She didn't have another class that day so she could wait for the other students, including Jillian; to have a word with him before she made her way up to talk to him. They first had to exchange barbs, getting that out of the way before having a nice conversation about the class and then about their summer vacations. They talked for about ten minutes before she left leaving Dr. Laurence in the classroom as he had another class to teach in an hour. Once out of the classroom, she noticed Jillian up the hall and she felt herself smiling but then she realized that she was talking to some muscle bound guy and that made her frown. She hated that as it meant that she was attracted to Jillian and now she knew that she was straight. But that lead to another problem, as she always seemed to be attracted to straight girls for some reason. But being disappointed wasn't anything new to her, so she went on down the hall making herself avoid looking over Jillian as she passed by her. She had gone about ten steps by Jillian and the asshole she was talking to when she heard from behind her, "Hey Alphabet wait a sec..." She knew that it was Jillian that was calling out to her and that made her smile in spite of herself. She turned around to see Jillian coming to her and she saw the big guy give her a dirty look before he turned to leave. "Please tell me your name's not Alphabet," Jillian said with a big smile showing her perfect smile that light up her face and eyes. She laughed before replying with, "No that's just what Dr. Laurence calls me." "And he calls you that because???" Jillian asked. "My initials are ABC, so he started calling me Alphabet when I took one of his classes as a freshman." She said with another little laugh. "God, getting anything from you is like pulling teeth..." Jillian said with a laugh, "...but I'm game, so what does ABC stand for?" "Ashley Blaire Cooper thus ABC," Ashley said laughing again as she was having fun with this little game she and Jillian were playing. "Well Ashley, I'm Jillian and I got a proposition for you." Jillian told her. "What's that?" Ashley asked though she had an idea as to what that proposition just might be. "I got a lead on a great story and I want to work with you on it." Jillian told her. "I don't think that would be a good idea," Ashley said and she started to turn away from Jillian though she didn't want to as she liked Jillian but she didn't want to put her though what she knew would come with her relationship with Dr. Laurence and him being so demanding of her and her writing. Anything she did for him had to be perfect or he'd reject it and she didn't want to put Jillian through that and thus make Jillian hate her. She walked a couple of steps before she felt Jillian's hand on her shoulder stopping her and turning her around. "Don't you want to work with me?" Jillian said and Ashley could see the fire in her eyes. "Don't you think I'm good enough to work with you? Let me tell you, I'm going to be a great reporter one day!" "No! It's not like that. I'm sure that you'll be a great reporter but I don't want to be a reporter, I just want to write books. I'm taking the class to help me learn to do research." Ashley told her. "So I'll help you with that and you help me with my writing, see it would work to each of our benefits." Jillian said trying to make her case. "True however there is one other problem and if I work with you, you'll end up regretting it and end up hating me." Ashley told her being honest. "Why are you some kind of a high maintenance bitch that is always complaining about something and whining?" Jillian asked though she had a smile on her face showing off her pretty smile and showing Ashley that she wasn't serious about any of the things that she had said. "No," Ashley couldn't help but to laugh. "It has more to do with Dr. Laurence; I've never written anything for him that he didn't tear apart. He's hard on me and picks on me. I don't want to put you through that. You had to see how he picked on me for the last two hours and him calling me Alphabet which he knows I hate." "But that's why I decided you were the perfect person to work with. I've had several classes with him and he only picks on students that he thinks can really make a difference. Even he told me that I needed to work with you." Jillian told her. "When did you ask him about me? This is the first class I have seen you in or taken with you." Ashley said slightly alarmed. "I asked him after class. I saw how you and him interacted together and I knew he liked you. You see he's my advisor and he keeps telling me that my instincts are great but my writing sucks. A reporter doesn't need to be a bestselling author but they do need to write clearly. I think you can help me there and I can show you how to go about investigating something. I really do think that we can help each other out. So will you at least let me buy you a sub at the Subshop and explain what I have in mind?" Jillian asked again flashing her smile at her. "Mmmm...," Ashley said as she mulled it over. "Okay but let's just go to the dining hall. I got a dining card and it won't cost you anything." "Come on, let me treat you, I mean it is just a sub and besides a sub taste better than anything you'll get at the dining hall." Jillian said then she hooked her right arm into Ashley's left propelling her toward the door. Ashley wanted to argue but Jillian seemed to be determined and besides the mention of a sub sandwich got her stomach to growl. She figured that being treated to one meal wouldn't hurt and if she had enough money left at the end of the semester then she would treat Jillian to lunch. As they walked, Jillian told her about how she wanted to eventually work for one of the big New York or Washington papers. She was determined to get there and the sooner the better as far as she was concerned. She talked about how she had been reading newspapers since she learned to read. Even before that, her father had sat her up on his lap and instead of reading her a story, he would read the paper to her. So she said that she blamed her father for making her want to be a reporter, and that made Ashley laugh. Jillian seemed to love to talk about herself and she was so self-confident. And Ashley didn't mind as she wasn't a big talker and she definitely didn't like to talk about herself. It wasn't until they got their subs and had found a table in the far corner of the Subshop to sit that Jillian got down to business. "So you ready to hear what I want us to do an article about?" Jillian asked. "Sure fire away," Ashley said with a smile as she unwrapped her sub and the delicious smell made her stomach growl making her blush. "Sorry about that, with the money I got on my grant, I can only afford two meals a day on my dinning card so I usually skip breakfast." "It's cool; these subs make my stomach growl too." Jillian said with a laugh thus putting Ashley as ease. "So what do you want to work with me on?" Ashley asked before taking a bite of her sub and wanting to moan as it tasted so good. "Do you have any more classes today; this is kind of a long story?" Jillian asked. "No, I'm through for the day." Ashley said smiling as it meant that she would at least get to spend a little time with this pretty girl who was straight and wouldn't lead to anything but still... "Well it started my senior year of high school, my parents and I came here to look over the school. They wanted me to go to a bigger and more prestigious university but Dr. Laurence had just got hired here and so this was where I wanted to go. I had become a fan of his when I was a freshman in high school and kept up with everything he wrote. So anyway I got them to come and after we got to meet Dr. Laurence, my father decided that going here was where I needed to be if I was going to be a reporter." Jillian said then she took a bite of her sandwich and Ashley did the same. Once Jillian had swallowed and got a sip of her coke, she went on with her story. "This was on a Friday and Saturday as my mother dragged my father to some outdoor concert that they were having, I was left to explore the campus. I walked around and eventually found myself at the aquatic center. I was sitting on the benches watching some of the swim team practicing; a couple of the women's team came over and sat in front of me. They were talking and being the noisy bitch that I am, I listened in." Jillian said then she laughed and so did Ashley. "They were talking about their new coach and wondering why their old coach, a woman named Julie Wilder, had been fired at the end of the last semester just when she was turning things around and then one whispered to the other about whether it was because the coach was lesbian. But the other whispered back that she didn't think so as not many knew she was that way." Jillian told her. "So did they say anything else?" Ashley asked now interested in what Jillian was saying to her. "No, you know how us women are, flittering from subject to subject. So I didn't hear them talk anymore about that." Jillian said with a laugh. "Oh yes, we are so flighty," Ashley said with a laugh. "However, you obviously think it has everything to do with her being lesbian." "I'm sure of it now. For the last four years I have been trying to find out more and I'm getting close but now I need help to figure out how to prove it." Jillian told her. "Okay, I'll bite. So what have you found out?" Ashley asked of her. "Well I have found all of the members of her last team and talked to all of them. A couple of them indicated that they think it was because she was lesbian but they either don't know the details or they won't tell me. What I need for you to do is follow up with them. You may have more luck than I did. Plus we'll have to find some way to get into the athletic department and find if there is something there." She said like it was no big deal. "Don't you think that this a little above our abilities plus we may be chasing a rumor that turns out to be nothing. Plus why didn't Coach Wilder sue the university if she thought that she was treated wrongly." Ashley told her. "I don't think that it's a rumor, there's too many people saying the same thing. And I haven't approached the coach. I want to get some evidence that what I think is true, really is true first before we talk to her." Jillian told her. "We? I haven't agreed to help you yet." Ashley told her. "No you haven't, but you're thinking about." Jillian said as she arched her eyebrows at her. Ashley hesitated but she let out a nervous laugh, "Yea... I'm thinking about it." She told her but she wasn't sure if it was because of a fellow lesbian getting screwed or she just wanted to be close to this lovely creature sitting in front of her. "Cool then think it over and when you decide, give me a call. Hand me your phone and I'll put my number into it." Jillian said as she reached out for her phone. Ashley thought for a second about giving someone she had just met her phone which means that she could also get her number but something told her that she could trust her, so she got into her backpack. She handed her phone over and she saw Jillian give her another smile. Jillian looked over her cheap phone and frowned and that bothered her a little. She was on a tight budget and with her family's financial situation; getting her a fancy smart phone just wasn't possible, she had to settle for one of the cheap phones that she could refill with minutes and messages each mouth. She had a phone and it worked so that was all that mattered to Ashley. Jillian quickly put her number into her phone before handling it back. "There you go, now you can call me when you decide to join forces with me. I think we can really blow the top off of this." Jillian told her flashing another big smile. "You sound awfully confident that I'll agree to help you." Ashley told her not so sure that she liked that about Jillian. "I'm being confident on the outside but my insides aren't as sure. But I really do need your help on this. Normally I like to work alone but I know I'm not the reporter that I will be one day. I need help and I think you're the one that can help me. And I can help you too." Jillian told her. "How can you help me?" Ashley asked of her putting Jillian on the spot. Jillian didn't seem to mind in the least being on the hot seat, "Well I can help you with your research but I think I can do something for you personally too." Jillian said. "How so?" Ashley asked now curious. "To risk, turning you against me before we even get started," Jillian said as she hesitated for only a second. "I picture you as being somewhat shy and reserved. You're content to be in your own little world where you can write. Am I'm right?" Now it was Ashley's turn to hesitate as she didn't like to be described as being shy but she was. That was her very nature. She was an introvert while Jillian was obviously an extrovert. She took a long sip of her coke before she said a bit defensively, "Yea but I'm not some shut in afraid of her own shadow. I do get out and do things." "I know you do and I didn't mean that as a bad thing, but I'm a fly by the pants type of person and maybe just a little will rub off on you. But please do think about working with me. I can be a pain in the ass bitch but I'm not a complete bitch. I can be sweet girl when I want to be and to my friends, I am definitely a good girl." Jillian said with a wink and a big smile that made Ashley smile. "Well you know, I've been known to be a bitch at times too," Ashley told Jillian who smiled but Ashley knew that Jillian didn't believe her. "I'm sure that you can," Jillian told her before changing the subject, "So what kind of books do you want to write?" Ashley took the last bite of her sandwich chewing slowly as she thought about how to answer Jillian's question. Because she wanted to write about everything so that is what she told her. She began to talk about wanting to try her hand at romances, crime drama, adventure, and maybe even a biography if she can find someone that interested her enough. She then told her about some of the stories that she had written, some of which was posted on the internet. And she had also a few that got published in a couple of magazines. Jillian seemed to be completely absorbed in what she had to say and that made Ashley want to talk more, more than she had in a long, long while and definitely longer than she had to anyone that she had just met. But like all good things, their time ran out and they had to give up their table and go their separate ways. However Jillian did make a last pitch for Ashley to call her before the week was up. Ashley did think about Jillian's proposal that day and evening but mostly she thought about Jillian. How she liked her smile and the way she looked. As she lay in her small bed in the dorm listening to her roommate's soft snoring, she thought about Jillian's slim body with her tight stylish clothes. How the blouse she was wearing seemed to show off her small but nice breasts. And those long legs, damn they made her want to touch them, run her hands up and down her thighs, feeling the heat from her... Ashley was thinking as she felt her pussy begin to get moist. However then she looked over at her sleeping roommate and realized that she needed to stop thinking about Jillian. She needed to think about whether to take her up on her offer. She knew that she would be better off working with someone in this class, she wasn't a reporter nor did she want to be, so she should take Jillian up on her offer. Then she began to think about how Jillian was talking to that big dude outside of class and she feared that she would just end up being heartbroken once again. She went to sleep not knowing what she would do and hoping that she would have an answer in the morning. However morning came and she still wasn't sure what to do. The bad thing was that she woke up Wednesday and Thursday morning without an idea as to what to do. She just couldn't decide whether to go with Jillian's idea and work with her which did seem a stretch and hard to prove but if they could then they would do something good. But if they couldn't and Dr. Laurence tore them apart then she knew that Jillian would never like her. Not that she would ever like her in the way she wanted anyway but at least she would like to have her as a friend. That evening, she called her mom as she always did, talking for about an hour before hanging up. She was about to put her phone down on her desk and get back to a paper she was writing when she thought about Jillian. She had pretty much been able to not think about her all day but now with her phone still in her hand, she did think about her. She heard Jillian's voice answer with a soft "Hello." "Jillian, this is..." Ashley was saying when Jillian's excited voice override hers. "Ashley did you decide to join forces with me, please tell me that you are..." Jillian said with the excitement showing. Ashley smiled as she said, "Yea, I believe that I will but I'm not sure how much of a help I can be..." Ashley said feeling a bit worried about that. "Oh you'll be more help that you realize." Jillian told her, making Ashley feel a little better. "I hope so..." Ashley replied. "How about you coming over tomorrow night and we'll map out our strategy? We can order out pizza and have a great time." Jillian said then she went on with, "I live in the Flint Apartment building right off campus. I'm in apartment five twenty two, just come about five and we'll go from there." Ashley didn't know what to say so she just said, "Okay." Jillian then went on talking about her classes and asking about Ashley's classes. Ashley didn't get off the phone for another two hours and only then because her roommate had come in and wanted to go to bed as she had an early morning class. "Hi there," Jillian said as she opened her door for Ashley. Ashley started to say "Hi" when her eyes registered that Jillian was just standing in a blue Victory Secrets sleepshirt and the bottom edge wasn't completely pulled down thus showing off her cute and expensive looking pink boyshort panties. It looked as if she had just thrown her sleepshirt on before opening the door. Ashley started down at Jillian's panties for a moment before Jillian reached down pulling the front down. Ashley glanced up at Jillian's face and realized that she had been caught staring which caused her to blush and she found that her pussy wanted to twitch. "Hi there," Ashley finally said as she came on in, shutting the door so that no one passing by would see Jillian half dressed. Ashley meanwhile was dressed in her Wal- Mart jeans and a pink blouse that she had also gotten there and her thick brown hair in a pony tail as she always wore it. "I hope you don't mind but I put on something a lot more comfortable after I came in from class," Jillian said as Ashley came on into the apartment. "No that's fine; I don't blame you in the least." Ashley said and then she decided to change the subject away from Jillian's outfit or rather lack of an outfit. "You have a beautiful apartment," Ashley said a bit envious as she looked around the living room. It had a couch to the back with a couple of comfortable chairs to each side and a big screen TV on the opposite wall. "Why thank you, I'm lucky to be able to live here and not in one of the dorms." Jillian said. "You can say that again," Ashley replied as she looked out the big picture window that looked out toward the campus. "I'm lucky to be able to live here and not in one of the dorms." Jillian said seriously then she winked at Ashley and laughed causing Ashley to laugh at Jillian's quick wit which made her like her more. "Put your bag down on the couch and I'll show you around before we get down to work," Jillian told her. Ashley slung her book bag off her shoulder putting it gently on the couch as it held her laptop and she couldn't afford to replace it so she treated it will loving care. Jillian then took her by the hand, leading her to the kitchen which wasn't large but more than enough to cook something up. Jillian then led her down the short hall to where her bedroom was, which was bigger than Ashley's dorm room, and finally to the bathroom, which had a large shower/tub and a big mirror over the sink. "How can you afford this by yourself, are your parents rich or something?" Ashley blurted out before she could stop herself. "Sorry, that's none of my business." "No it's cool, we're going to be spending a lot of time together for the next three months so we might as well really get to know each other." Jillian said leading her back into the kitchen, where she got them both a diet coke. "You don't have to tell me, sometimes my mouth opens before I have time to think." Ashley said accepting the drink. "No, it's cool," Jillian said with a smile as she went toward the living room and Ashley followed close behind, however her eyes couldn't help but to glance down at Jillian's small but cute ass that even her sleepshirt couldn't hide. "Both my parents work and while they aren't rich, they each make a very decent amount of money. When I was born, they started a savings account for me; they wanted me to have enough money to go to any school that I desired and not worry about the cost. Of course they intended for that school to be an Ivy League school or something like Vanderbilt, Duke, or Stanford. Since I chose a smaller in-state school, I've got more than enough money to live in this nice apartment. Though my parents made me room in the dorms my freshman year just so I would appreciate my lot in life. And I assure you that I do." "Well this is nice, I just hope one of these years I can afford an apartment like this." Ashley said sitting down on the couch with Jillian. "With your ability to write and your imagination, I'm sure you'll do just fine." Jillian told her. "How do you know, you've never even read anything I've written?" Ashley told her a bit defensively. "Well..." Jillian said and she blushed a bit making Ashley want to smile. "I kind of did a little research on the internet and I read some of what you have put online or had published in a literary magazine. I just wanted to make sure that what I thought you were, you really are." "So did I pass your test?" Ashley asked arching her eyebrows enjoying putting Jillian on the spot. "Oh yes, definitely. You're even better than I could have hoped you'd be." Jillian said. "So how do I know you're as great a reporter as you think you are?" Ashley said. "I knew there was a reason I liked you," Jillian said with a smile. "Actually I can't prove that to you yet, I have had a few articles printed in the university paper but nothing really in-depth yet." "Oh I know and you're right, you're writing needs a little help but you do get all the facts." Ashley said with a smile. "So I'm not the only one that has done her research, am I?" Jillian said flashing a big smile at her. "Nope," Ashley said then she had to laugh a bit. "Oh I think we're going to be a great pair," Jillian told her and then she leaned over giving her a light hug that Ashley had to admit, she liked. She liked it too much, she thought to herself so after a moment; she pulled away. "So where do we start?" she asked Jillian getting things back on track. "Set up your laptop on the coffee table and I'll get my stuff." Jillian said as she got up. As Ashley reached over to get her laptop, she noticed Jillian walking away and the back of her sleepshirt had crept up and it exposed her panty covered ass. Ashley stopped in mid motion watching Jillian walk into the kitchen. She was thankful that Jillian didn't turned back to see her staring and she also didn't pull the back down until she was in the kitchen. Ashley had to hurry to get her laptop out and onto the coffee table. Jillian came back in carrying her laptop and she set it down beside of Ashley's laptop. She sat down on the edge of the couch before slipping off and sitting on the carpeted floor between the coffee table and the couch. "Come on and sit on the floor beside of me. I do a lot of my studying here." Jillian told her as she patted the floor beside of her. "Mmmm... okay..." Ashley said unsure of this way of studying as she was used to just using her desk in the dorm, but she slid down sitting next to Jillian. "And if you like, you can just slip your shoes off and stay awhile." Jillian told her flashing a big smile at her as she got her computer going. Ashley laughed and she used her feet to slip her tennis shoes letting them fall in front of her feet. "Much better, now plug in this jump drive and you'll have all the information that I have been able to gather over the past four years. It's not much, but it gives us a starting point." Jillian told her handing Ashley the drive. Ashley plugged it in and once her laptop recognized it, she opened the drive to find lots of folders. "I thought that you didn't have much, there must be twenty folders here." "Yea but there's not a lot of information in any of the folders and what is there has blanks in it." Jillian said. "How about I go ahead and order us a pizza and then we can get started going over what I have. By then, it'll be here and we can start developing a plan of attack." "Okay, sounds good but only if you will let me pay for half of it." Ashley told her. "Nope, I'll pay. I got you into this and I'm not going to let you spend money you can't afford to spend." Jillian told her. "I'm not penniless, you know." Ashley said a bit defensively. "I can afford to pay for my food. You already bought me lunch the other day; I should be buying this pizza." "Okay let's go ahead and get this fight over with," Jillian said seriously but with a smile on her face. "What fight?" Ashley asked but knowing what Jillian was talking about. "The fight over money, of course," Jillian told her. "So may I ask you what your financial situation is?" "No it's none of your damn business," Ashley told her. "But I told you mine," Jillian told her. "Ah, but I didn't ask you too." Ashley said happy to make a point that would end this argument. "Yea you did, when you asked how I could afford this place." Jillian said trumping Ashley's point and Ashley knew it. Ashley let a smile escape, "Okay I'm very poor. I am attending the university on a writing scholarship and from a couple of small grants that I was able to secure. My mother cleans houses for a living and my father does odd jobs when he can get them. They met in high school and fell in love and before they could graduate, I came along." Ashley said with a grin. So they both quit school to raise me and they were determined never to have to ask for government help and they haven't. But they also don't have a lot of money to send to me. I attend summer school to get all my classes in and thus finish in four years and also to take every writing class that the university has to offer. So at the end of the year, whatever money I have left from my grants, I'll use to buy the stuff that I need. So while I'm not penniless, I'm pretty close." Ashley admitted to her. "Well what I have gotten you into is going to take a lot of research and time. It's also going to require you to come over here and help me and that means that we'll be ordering out a lot as I'm a terrible cook... no that's not true, I can't cook. So that leaves us with a problem doesn't it if we are going to spend half of our time arguing over money that I have and you can't afford to spend..." Jillian told her. "So what are we going to do? I can't let you just pay for everything?" Ashley told her. "Okay so let's make a deal, I pay for the things we need to do this story and to get it right." Jillian told her. "And what do I bring to the table and don't say teach you to write better. You're supposed to be teaching me how to better do my research so that's an even trade off." Ashley told her. "Do you know how to cook?" Jillian asked. "Sure every real woman knows how to do that." Ashley said giving Jillian a smile at her dig. "Oh cut me to the core..." Jillian said acting wounded then she laughed. "How about you become the official chef of this project." "I said I could cook, I didn't say I was a chef." Ashley said with a laugh. "But back to money, I really want to get this one right, so will you let me buy us the things that I think we need." Jillian said. Ashley thought for a moment then she said, "The money we think we need to spend, then those things you can buy but only if we both agree." "Okay partner," Jillian said. "However I did do something before we came to this agreement." "Why do I think I'm not going to like this?" Ashley said warily. "Because you're not," Jillian told her, "You see I kind of added a line to my phone and got you a good smart phone to use, one that you can text with and call anywhere, anytime." "But I got a good phone..." Ashley told her. "With limited minutes and messaging right?" Jillian told her. "Ah yes," knowing that Jillian had her again. "So now you got unlimited on both and the internet." Jillian said as she got up and went to her purse, pulling out a fancy new phone for her. "This is the last thing and it goes back to you once we hand in the paper." Ashley said not taking the phone. "Deal," Jillian said and only then did Ashley take the fancy phone that she had always wanted but knew that it would be years before she could afford one like this. "Cool now how about you ordering us a pizza as your first phone call," Jillian said while sitting back down beside of her. "I can't think of anything thing better than to use the phone for the first time to order a pizza," Ashley said with a laugh almost saying "her new phone" but the caught herself thus making sure that Jillian knew that this was just temporary. As Ashley figured out how to make a phone call on the phone, they argued what they wanted on it, finally deciding on a BLT pizza which they both agree was one of the better pizzas. Once that very important task was completed, they started to go through each folder that Jillian had set up. Ashley was impressed by the amount of information that Jillian had gathered over the past four years but she also could see the information that was missing and would have to be filled in before they could come close to making a story. Jillian was making a very serious charge against the university athletic department and so they had to be sure that they had the facts to back up their claims. This Jillian took pains to point out herself so Ashley knew that she was being realistic about what she had and what she needed. Ashley could see that just maybe that Jillian would be a great reporter if she already understood how important the role that a reporter played in their nation but also the responsibility of the press to get it right. About the time that they had made it through the folders, the doorbell rang signaling that their pizza had arrived. Jillian gave Ashley a twenty to pay for the pizza and to tip the delivery person. "So what do you think?" Jillian asked as they sat up on the couch to eat their pizza. "You got a good starting point but where do we go from here?" Ashley asked. "We need to come up with a plan and divide up what needs to be done." "Well I got an idea about how to start," Jillian said then she paused to take a bite of her pizza. "Okay what?" Ashley asked as she took a sip of her coke. "Well like I said the other day, I want you to go back and call all the members of Coach Wilder's last team. Then lets concentrate on one or two of them to see if they know more than what they are saying. I think that someone on that team has to know why she was let go." Jillian told her. Ashley wasn't too excited about calling strangers but she could see why they both needed to have talked to everyone and then they would have two opinions as to who to concentrate on. "Okay, but what are you going to do as I am doing that?" Ashley asked. "I'm going to start on the athletic department. There has to be someone there who is willing to talk." Jillian told her. "Do you think anyone will talk to you? I mean neither one of us are athletes so I don't know if they would be willing to talk to either one of us." Ashley told her. "I know but if they got rid of Coach Wilder because she was lesbian then the information is there, we just got to find it." Jillian told her. "We can always just break into the offices and then get into their files and computers." Ashley said with a laugh kidding with Jillian. "We may just have to that before it's over with." Jillian said seriously and without laughing. "Jillian, I was kidding, we can't break in there. They'd kick us out of school not to mention getting us arrested." Ashley told her beginning to wonder if Jillian was taking this school project much too seriously. "I know but we can't let them get away with this!" Jillian told her. "We don't know that they got away with anything, not yet." Ashley told her. "Oh they did, I'm sure of it." Jillian told her. "Just why is this so important to you?" Ashley had to ask. "It just is..." Jillian said and Ashley looked at her carefully and she began to wonder about Jillian and maybe she wasn't as straight as she thought she was. "Okay but let's put anything illegal in our back pockets until the end, okay?" Ashley suggested. "We will and I don't think we'll have to do that. I think we can get the information with our womanly guile." Jillian said flashing a big smile at Ashley. "I think you got lots more womanly guile than I do," Ashley said with a laugh. "Oh I think you got more than enough womenly guile," Jillian said with a big smile. Ashley then changed the subject getting them off of the project and just talking as they finished eating. Then they slipped back down onto the carpet and delved back into the information that Julian had. Ashley noticed that Jillian didn't have all that much information on Coach Wilder so they both went online to see what else they could find out about her. It wasn't a big surprise that their university didn't have much information on her but the schools that she had worked for before coming to the university had lots of information. Their sites seem to hold her in high esteem and she did seem to be a great coach. They looked for a couple more hours finding out that Coach Wilder was no longer coaching. They found a Facebook page on her and she was now a stay at home mom with two young girls that she and her partner had adopted. She was also teaching swimming at an indoor swimming pool. Ashley told Jillian that eventually they would have to go and interview her and Jillian agreed but she wanted to do that last once they had the information to prove her theory correct. They worked to get more information on her but that was about all that they could find after a couple of hours of work. "Oh god, it's dark outside!" Ashley said suddenly as she happened to look out Jillian's window. "So... you're not afraid of the dark are you?" Jillian asked obviously not seeing why Ashley was worried. "It's a long walk back to campus and I don't like walking alone at night." Ashley said as she hurried to save all the information that Jillian had given to her. "Calm down, you can just stay here tonight." Jillian said as she put her hand on Ashley's forearm stopping her from shutting down her laptop. "I don't want to put you out..." Ashley said not really wanting to leave as she liked being this close to Jillian even if that meant she would be sleeping on the couch and Jillian in her bedroom. "Hey it's not problem; I got a king size bed and I promise that I don't bite..." Jillian said then she smiled real big as she said, "Though I might fart a few times." Then Jillian laughed real big as Ashley screwed up her face. "Oh gross, I think I'd rather walk home alone now." Ashley said as she pinched her nose and made even a bigger face and then she too laughed. "Then it's settled, you stay here and in the morning, you can fix breakfast..." Jillian told her. "I can fix breakfast?" Ashley said seeing that Jillian appeared serious. "Sure you're the chef for the project so you get to cook," Jillian said then she grinned as she added, "Of course all I got to fix for breakfast is cereal so I'm sure you won't fuck up your first assignment." Ashley then laughed, "You're just full of it tonight aren't you." "I'm always full of it." Jillian said as she got up, "You're just going to have to get used to that." "You know, I may be quiet but I do know how to fight back." Ashley told her. "Oh I saw that with you and Dr. Laurence." Jillian said pulling her sleep shirt down over her panties that Ashley was trying hard not to stare at. "Yea, he's a case isn't he?" Ashley said getting up and following Jillian to the kitchen where they both got a fresh coke. "That he is but he knows his shit and he has done what he is trying to teach us." Jillian told her. "You know I'm kind of embarrassed to say that I had never heard of him until I took one of his classes my freshman year." Ashley said taking a sip of her coke. "Hey, that's cool. You want to be a writer not a reporter so there was no reason for you to know of him." Jillian assured her. "But I know of him now," Ashley replied with a laugh. "And he knows you; don't forget that as it means a lot, if he likes you then your good." Jillian told her. "Well he knows you too so that means you got a real future being a reporter." Ashley told her and she saw a small smile come over her face which told her that Jillian, while outwardly confident, wasn't completely sure of her abilities and needed some encouragement. "So what you want to do now, it's still early?" Jillian asked. "Well what I need to do is to use your restroom; I'll let you decide what to do after that." Ashley said with a little laugh as she put her coke down on the kitchen table and headed toward the bathroom. When she came out, she found Jillian in the living room sitting on the couch with her feet up on the coffee table. This gave her a great view of the gusset of Jillian's panties which she took advantage of before she looked up at Jillian's face to see that she had gotten caught. She gave Jillian an embarrassed smile before coming over and sitting beside of her leaving about a foot between them. "I thought that we would watch a movie, how about that?" Jillian asked. "Sure, I don't get much of a chance to watch movies anymore. What we going to watch?" She asked. "It's an old movie that I have always loved, a little sad but very good," Jillian said as she picked up the remote and started the movie. "Oh okay," Ashley said a bit surprised that Jillian would go for sad movies, it didn't fit the person she thought that Jillian was but then again, she didn't know her that well yet. Ashley watched as the DVD came on and the name of the movie appeared, "Oh god," Ashley whispered out. "Don't you like Love Story? I can put something else on but I'm afraid that I do enjoy a good cry from time to time." Jillian said. "Oh I love this movie, I just hope that you got a box of tissues nearby," Ashley said with a smile already feeling sad as she thought about this movie that she and her mother had cried through many times over the years. "All prepared," Jillian said with a smile reaching over the arm of the couch, pulling up a box of tissues, and setting it between them. Then she put a small trash can in front of the couch between them. "Good," Ashley said as she went ahead and pulled a couple of tissues from the box just to be prepared. Jillian didn't take any then but Ashley noticed Jillian pulling more than a few tissues from the box before the movie ended. They were both crying and blowing their noses when Jennifer got sick and then died. The little trash can was about full of tissues by the end of the movie. "Damn that stupid movie always gets to me no matter how many times I watch it," Jillian said as she blew her nose and wiped her eyes one last time. "Tell me about it," Ashley replied, wiping her eyes as the last of her tears that fell from her eyes. "Well I don't know about you but I'm about ready for bed," Jillian said getting up from the couch. "Yea, but I need something to wear," Ashley told her. "I think I've got something for you." Jillian told her reaching out her hand to help Ashley from the couch. "I don't think I'll fit into anything that you have. You're slim and pretty and I'm plain and fat." Ashley told her. "Pish... you're neither one. You're very attractive and you're body is nice too. I like you just fine as you are." Jillian said giving Ashley a big smile and she squeezed her hand whilst leading her back to her bedroom. Jillian didn't let go of her hand until she got to her closet which turned out to be a walk in closet, while not real large but still had abundance of room. It was also filled with clothes, going from dresses, to skirts, to name brand jeans, and various other clothes that Ashley couldn't afford. Jillian rummaged around before pulling out a large long sleeve men's shirt, about the size that the boy that she had seen Jillian talking to that day at class would fit into. "Is this your boyfriend's?" Ashley couldn't stop herself from asking feeling a bit jealous of this unknown man. Ashley gave her a funny look before she burst out with, "Oh god no! It's one of my father's that I stole when I left home to come here. I wanted to have a part of him to take with me." "Well maybe I shouldn't wear it..." Ashley said not taking it yet. "Oh, I'm not as homesick as I was then and besides I think you'd look a lot better in it than he did." She said with a laugh putting the shirt into Ashley's hand. "Well thanks," Ashley said blushing a little as Jillian smiled at her. "I'll just borrow your bathroom a minute then. "Okay, I'll get the lights and make sure the door is locked as you change." Jillian said. "Have you got an extra tooth brush?" Ashley asked before closing the bathroom door. "Yea, just look in the little closet; I got extra stuff in there, just take what you need." Jillian told her. "Thanks," Ashley said closing the door. She first looked in the little closet and found that Jillian had a couple of extra toothbrushes in the closet as well as a new hair brush. Ashley hated to use it but she really wanted to brush out her hair before going to bed. She couldn't help but to look around a bit and she saw that Jillian had a few different tampons and pads in there as well as a few other things that every woman would need. What she didn't see was anything that a man would use which made her happy to see not that that really meant anything. She looked on the shelve where Jillian kept her medicines and while she found Tylenol, aspirin, medicine for cramps, along with various creams, lotions, however what she didn't see were any birth control pills. Still that didn't mean anything but was another hopeful sign. She then decided that she had been nosey enough so she got the tooth brush and hair brush out and she went to the sink. She took off her blouse and jeans standing there in her panties and bra. She then took off her bra and looked at herself for a moment. She looked at her light colored quarter size areoles and her small inverted nipples. She pinched her nipples making them harden a bit not knowing why. Then she did know why as she wanted Jillian to notice her more than just for her ability to write. But then she looked at her face with her large framed glasses that were out of style when she bought them which was why she could afford them. The style was now for smaller lenses but she liked them and they did help her to see which to her was all that she needed. She realized that she was spending too much time in the bathroom, so she quickly brushed her teeth and ran the hair brush through her hair. She peed before putting Jillian's father's shirt on, glad that it covered her hips that she always felt were too wide. It also coved her panties which were also a cheap cotton pair that came from a discount store. Once she decided that she was as presentable as she could get, she let out a deep sigh and opened the door. "Yep, you definitely do more for that shirt than my father ever did." Jillian told her as she entered the bedroom making Ashley blush a little. "Thanks," Ashley said with a smile that she couldn't stop. "I'll be right back, just take the far side of the bed." Jillian said as she went into the bathroom. "Okay," Ashley said as she went around the bed to the far side seeing that Jillian had already turned the covers down. She sat down on the edge of the bed, feeling that the mattress was firm, but not too firm. It was a lot better than the mattress that was on her small bed in the dorm. She scooted back and slipped her feet under the covers. She sheets felt so smooth and cool to her skin. It was like she was on silk sheets but they weren't silk but very expensive sheets all the same. She slid on down in the bed laying her head on the pillow and she just knew she had died and gone to heaven. She turned on her side to face what would be Jillian's side of the bed. Her nose picked up Jillian's perfume on the pillow that lay beside of her. She looked to the door and not seeing or hearing Jillian, she leaned inhaling deeply and feeling her heart swell as she thought of Jillian laying there beside of her. She felt her pussy tingle and she realized what she was doing so she rolled back over lying on her back. She really didn't want Jillian catching her sniffing her pillow as that would be so embarrassing. A few minutes later, Ashley heard the bathroom door open and then Jillian came in still wearing her sleepshirt and was pulled ip a bit in from showing her panties. She had a smile on her face as she came to the bed, sitting down with her back to Ashley. "You ready to sleep?" Jillian asked with her voice coming out all so softly. "Yea, sweet dreams," Ashley told her. "Sweet dreams," Jillian said with that same soft voice before turning off the bedside lamp. The bedroom went dark and Ashley felt Jillian sliding into the bed. It felt comforting to Ashley to have Jillian lying there less than a foot away from her. She closed her eyes listening to Jillian breathe. She let her mind wonder, going over what they had talked about that evening and also her mind kept picturing Jillian in the sleep shirt and those sexy panties that she kept showing off. Ashley was just about to fall asleep when she felt Jillian begin to toss and turn. She wondered if Jillian was one of those people who moved around in bed all night. A moment later, she heard Jillian say "Fuck" under her breath. "What's wrong?" Ashley asked worried that Jillian may be feeling sick or something. "What?... Oh nothing..." Jillian said but her tone of voice was saying that there was something definitely wrong. "Yes there is..." Ashley said sitting up and turning on the light by her side of the bed. She saw that Jillian's face had this disgusted expression and also that expression told Ashley that Jillian was upset about something. "What's wrong Jillian?" Ashley asked again beginning to worry about her. "Remember when I said that I didn't bite but I did fart." Jillian said as she sat up. "Yea..." Ashley said still not understanding what Jillian was getting at. "Well my body has decided that tonight was a great night to become its gassiest." Jillian said as she got up and as if right on cue a bit of gas escaped from her rear end. Ashley let out a giggle which caused Jillian turn her head back at her and give her a dirty look as she headed toward the bathroom. "Sorry," Ashley said as Jillian disappeared through the door. Jillian had been gone about ten minutes before Ashley heard the bathroom door open and she could hear the toilet flushing. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have laughed. It wasn't funny and I'm sorry." Ashley said to Jillian feeling contrite and truly sorry. Jillian didn't say anything as she came on in and she turned sitting on the edge of the bed. She sat there a minute and then Ashley saw Jillian's shoulders jerked and a noise came from her. At first she thought Jillian was crying but then she realized that Jillian was laughing. "Yes it is funny." Jillian told her. And only then did Ashley let out a sigh of relief. And she too began to laugh. "But you know that the jokes really on you," Jillian told her. "How's that?" Ashley asked. "You got to sleep in the same bed with me and I may be farting throughout the night." Jillian said as she laughed. "I knew I should have taken the couch." Ashley said with a laugh. "You know you still can." Jillian told her as she turned and slipped under the covers but she now had a smile on her face. "Nah, I'm a glutton for punishment, I'll stick it out." Ashley said turning off the light and slipping into the bed. It got quiet as they both lay there in the darkness then Jillian said, "I only have gas when I'm nervous about something." "What are you nervous about?" Ashley asked. Jillian was silent for a moment then she said, "I got a cute girl sharing my bed." Jillian told her. Ashley wasn't sure if she had heard her right and then deciding that she had but then she didn't know what to say, so finally she said, "Oh..." But she had to smile as it made her feel nice. Ashley woke up a time or two that night as she felt Jillian moved around and sure enough, she could hear her passing a bit of gas in her sleep. Each time it made her giggle but it also made her like Jillian even more. Jillian dressed so well and appeared to sure of herself and confident but yet, Ashley saw that Jillian was just like her, sometimes her body worked against her at just the wrong time. And sometimes she had gas that had to find its way out whether she liked it or not. Ashley woke up first and she eased out of bed, letting Jillian sleep. She gathered up her jeans and blouse and headed to the bathroom. She took off Jillian's father's shirt and stripped out of her panties. Those she rinsed out in the sink then hung up on the shower rod. She went to the tub/shower turning on the water. She got the water hot before stepping into the tub. She got under the hot water enjoying the fact that it got hotter than in the dorm. But then again, she lived on the top floor and by the time the water got up to her floor, the water wasn't nearly as hot as it was on the lower floors. She took a nice long shower getting clean and feeling refreshed as she got out of the shower. She used Jillian's hair dryer to get her hair dry before brushing it out. She finished by brushing her teeth. Then she put her bra that she had rinsed out the night before and was now dry. She slipped on her jeans feeling funny going without panties but she figure it wouldn't take them long to dry. When she opened the door, she saw that Jillian was waiting to come it. "Sorry, I didn't mean to take so long," Ashley said feeling a bit embarrassed. "It's cool; I like long hot showers too." Jillian said as she went on into the bathroom. Ashley didn't move than two steps down the hall when she heard Jillian say, "Oh I see you're going commando this morning, you're a girl after my own heart." Then she heard Jillian laugh as she blushed. Ashley wished that she had just put her dirty panties back on but it was too late to do that now, Jillian already knew that she was going without her panties that morning. Ashley went on into the kitchen to see what Jillian had to eat. She did find that Jillian did indeed have cereal but no milk so the cereal didn't do them much good. So she went to the pantry and fridge looking around to see what to make. She did find some can biscuits and some canned peaches. This gave her an idea as to what to fix, something that her father had taught her when he decided to let her mom sleep in. He would take her into the kitchen and then he would start to pull things out until he found something to fix. Some of his concoctions weren't all that great but most were. But the main thing was that she and her father had fun cooking and arguing on what to fix. She rolled the biscuit dough out and then she cut it into triangles and she put the peaches on the dough and folded it over sealing them, thus making peach turnovers. She put a little sugar over them before popping them into the oven. "Mmmm... That smells good." Jillian said as she came into the kitchen just as Ashley was taking her homemade turnovers out of the over. "Well you were going to get cereal but somebody didn't have any milk, not mentioning any names mind you." Ashley said seriously as she tried not to laugh. "Yea, let's not mention who that might be..." Jillian said with a laugh. "Well hopefully you'll like that what I came up with, if you don't you can blame my father." Ashley told her. "Your father, I don't see him around here. I only see you." Jillian told her. "Yea but he is the one who showed me how to make something out of nothing." Ashley said with a smile. "Well I'm sure that is will taste good. It's making me hungry and I'm not much of a breakfast eater." Jillian said as she got them both a coke out of the fridge. "I hope so," Ashley said putting them a turnover each on a small plate and they sat down on the table. "So what are you plans for today?" Jillian asked. "I don't know, I got a paper to finish before Tuesday and some reading to do. But other than that I'm not sure. What you doing, you got a date or anything tonight?" Ashley asked not sure she wanted an answer to her last question but she had to ask anyway. "Oh no, no date and I really don't have any plans." Jillian said and before Ashley could say that she was going to head back to the dorm after they had eaten, Jillian continued on. "Well how about us having a fun day and then we both can study a little tonight and tomorrow. Plus you can start calling the swim team and see what you think about whatever they have to say." Jillian said flashing her big smile at her while having a hopeful look in her eyes. "I don't have any clothes here and besides I don't want to put you out." Ashley told her. "And I'm sure you got lots of friends that you would want to spend your time with." Ashley said again feeling Jillian out. "Don't you want to spend the day with me?" Jillian asked and Ashley could see that Jillian was feeling a bit put out. "And besides I don't have that many friends, I'd like for us to be friends." "Sure I want to spend the day with you and I don't have a lot of friends either. I mostly concentrate on my writing." Ashley said seeing that they had a lot more in common than she would have thought. "Good, then its set. We'll go back to your dorm and get you some clothes that you can keep here. That way when you come here to work on our project, then we don't have to worry about getting you back to the dorm before dark, since you're such a chicken, being afraid of the dark." Ashley knew that Jillian was ribbing her a little and she had to get her dig in too so she replied with, "While we're out, I need to stop by the Army Store to get a gas mask, if I'm going to have to share your bed again." "Oh god I didn't pass gas all night did I?" Jillian asked putting her hand to her mouth. Ashley smiled, "No I didn't hear a thing," which was a bit of a white lie but it was for a good cause. "But I did have to get you back for the chicken comment." "Good, I really felt bad about that," Jillian told her. "Hey, one of these nights you'll be the one wanting the gas mask." Ashley said then she realized that she was saying that she would be spending more than this night here with Jillian and sharing her bed. "I'll take my chances." Jillian said flashing her big smile. So once they finished their homemade turnovers and Ashley had put the rest into the refrigerator, they went down to the parking garage that was beside of the apartment building to get to Jillian's car. Ashley was expecting something fancy and expensive but instead Jillian went to a twenty year old Volvo. The paint had faded but it did look in good shape. "Not what you expected?" Jillian asked as she was unlocking the door. Ashley was surprised both by the car and also that Jillian had figured out what she was thinking. "Well yea, I guess with the apartment you have, I was expecting something newer." Ashley admitted. Jillian smiled at her before getting into the car and then unlocking the passenger door for Ashley. Jillian started the car before replying, "My father bought me this car when I got my driver's licenses. He told me that he wanted something safe for me to drive and when I was on my own and was making my own money then I could buy something fancy, until then I had to drive this car." "You're on your own now so why not buy something newer." Ashley said. "Yea but I'm not making my own money so I have to drive this old rust bucket." Jillian told her with a laugh but Ashley noticed that Jillian was patting the dash as if making up to the car for calling it a rust bucket. "What did you think of the car when your father presented it to you?" Ashley asked curious as to what Jillian's answer would be. Jillian laughed as she drove out of the parking garage, "Well to say it was a major disappointment is understating it. Even my mother was driving something sportier than I was and here I was a sixteen year old girl, driving a car my mother wouldn't drive." "I see you didn't turn it down," Ashley said with a laugh. "Oh hell no, I knew better than that. It was either take this car or walk. And to a sixteen year old, a car no matter what it looked like was better than no car." Jillian told her. "So I hugged my father and thanked him, then I jumped into my car to show it off to my friends. However he also put a damper on that too as he got into the passenger seat to ride along." "Why did he do that?" Ashley asked wondering if Jillian's father was a bit overprotective. "He said that he wasn't about to let me drive it alone until I got used to it and I think he just wanted to make sure I didn't get to driving too fast to show off to my friends." Jillian told her. "So what did you do?" Ashley had to ask, "Did you go pick up your friends with your father along?" "Yea, I had already called them telling them I was coming over to give them a ride in my new fancy sports car." Jillian said with a laugh. "Oh," Ashley said as she could just see Jillian driving to her friend's house with her father in tow and in her old Volvo. "Yea, he waited to until they had gotten in then he laid down the rules as to what we could do and couldn't do in my car then he had me take him home." Jillian told her. "How did you feel about that?" Ashley asked. "I was a bit pissed at him but I didn't let it show or he would have taken my car away from me." Jillian said and then she paused for a moment as a bit of sadness came over her face. "Then about a month later one of my friends, not a close friend but a friend all the same, got killed driving her new Trans Am at a high rate of speed on one of back roads. There were two other kids with her and they got critically injured but survived. My father didn't say "I told you so" but then I knew why he had bought me something safe and something that didn't have too much power under the hood. The evening after the funeral, I thanked my dad for going with me that day I got my car as I was going to just what my friend did so it could have been my funeral that my father went to. I guess that is the real reason I haven't gotten a fancy sports car. This Old Bitch gets me where I want to go and that's all that counts." "Old Bitch?" Ashley asked with a smile. "Yea, she's like an old bitch that does only what she wants to do, when she wants to do it." Jillian said with a laugh. "Well I'm glad that the "Old Bitch" is looking out for you and doesn't let you do something you shouldn't be doing." Ashley said with a laugh. They talked about the Old Bitch on the way to the dorm and also what type of car Ashley wanted when she would be able to buy one. Ashley named a few cars that she liked but after hearing Jillian's story of her friend and riding in her old Volvo, she had to admit to Jillian that she just might expand her list of cars to something like the Old bitch that Jillian had and seemed to like. Ashley was glad to see that her roommate was out when they got to her dorm room. Ashley first went to her desk, packing up some of the things that she needed to get her paper done and some of the other books that she needed. Most of her text books were now on her computer as she had downloaded them. She then went to her closet. It was about four feet wide with the top used for hanging her clothes and then under that, there were two sets of three drawers. She pulled out a tee shirt that she was going to put on while she was there. She then went to her drawers pulling out a pair of panties and a bra and then an extra pair for Sunday. "Is that all your getting?" Jillian asked as Ashley went to her bed to get a gown that she kept in a couple of plastic storage containers that were slid under her bed. "Yea, that's all I need to get me though to tomorrow." Ashley told her. "Well you might as well stay Sunday night and then we can walk to class Monday morning. Plus you never know when you might have to stay over if we work late." Jillian said going back to Ashley's closet and she started to pull out more of her clothes. Ashley didn't have a lot of clothes and Jillian seemed intent on taking most of them. "You don't need to take everything. I'm not moving in with you." Ashley told her. "Oh I know but you might as well take everything you might need." Jillian said with a bright smile as she went to Ashley's drawers, pulling out several pairs of her panties and bras. Ashley stood there watching her and she seemed helpless to stop her. "Come on, get what you need from under there and you might as well get your dirty clothes, I got a washer and dryer so you don't have to pay those machines to wash your clothes." Jillian told her. "I can't argue with you on that one, they keep raising the prices on those damn machines and they don't wash all that well." Ashley told her. "Tell me about it, I hated those damn things when I was here. Get what you need and we'll get out of here and enjoy the rest of the day." Jillian told her and Ashley found herself doing just that. She pulled out several gowns and a couple of her shorts and jeans that she kept under her bed. Once she had about everything she would need, she went to the bathroom to change and also get some of her personal things that she would need. She put on a clean bra and panties and then a tee shirt and shorts as it was getting hot outside. When she came out, she felt better and cooler. She put the clothes she had been wearing into her dirty clothes bag and they put the clothes she was taking to Jillian's in a couple of her suitcases that she kept under the bed. Once she saw all that Jillian had pulled out she began to wonder is Jillian didn't plan on having her become her new roommate. Ashley had to admit that it would be nice to live in a nice apartment instead of a dorm room with her sullen roommate but she was afraid that she would fall for Jillian even more than she already had. And she didn't know just where Jillian stood, was she straight, bi, or maybe lesbian. The jury was still out on that one and she couldn't let her feelings go too much further before she had an answer to that question. They hauled her two suitcases to the elevator and rode on down. Ashley had to admit that she was a bit excited that she was going to at least be staying a couple of more nights with Jillian and she didn't even mind if Jillian farted a time or two. "What you smiling about there?" Jillian asked as the elevator doors opened. "Oh nothing," Ashley said as she felt her face warming up. "It must be something since your cheeks are blushing, so let me in on the secret." Jillian said as she picked up one of Ashley's suitcases as Ashley got the other one. "Oh I was just wondering where we could get that gas mask since I'm going to be sharing a bed with you for the next two nights." Ashley said then she burst out laughing as Jillian frowned. "Oh god, I just farted one time, am I going to be hearing about that for the rest of my life?" Jillian asked though she was now smiling a bit now. "Yep, I don't plan on letting you forget about it either." Ashley said enjoying the laugh at poor Jillian's expense. "You know that one day the shoe will be on the other foot and you know I will be merciless." Jillian told her. "Nope, won't happen..." Ashley told her putting a confident smile on her face. "Why, you never have gas?" Jillian said with a disbelieving expression on her face. "Nope, never..." Ashley said still keeping a straight face. "Yea right..." Jillian told her. "And if it should ever happen, which it won't, I'll be damn if I let you hear me," Ashley said and then she finally had to laugh. "Well I hadn't plan letting you know but it didn't work out that way for me and neither will it for you." Jillian told her. "Oh I know but until I slip up, I'm going to rub it in for as long as possible." Ashley said laughing. "Just remember that when I give you hell over an innocent fart, you'll have it coming." Jillian warned her and Ashley laughed knowing that the day would come and Jillian would make good on her word. When they then got to Jillian's car, they put Ashley's stuff into the back seat and headed back to Jillian's apartment. Once they got everything up to Jillian's apartment, Jillian insisted on making room for Ashley's clothes, making sure that she had plenty of space if she should want to bring other things there. This point she seemed intent on making and Ashley was receiving it loud and clear, but she didn't completely understand Jillian's motives. Was the project so important that she wanted her there so that she could monitor what she was getting done and spur her to work harder? That was a real possibility but Ashley didn't think that was it or at least not completely it. It could also be that maybe, just maybe Jillian, for everything that she had, was lonely in that apartment. Or maybe Jillian wasn't as straight as she thought she was, maybe there was an interest there. She did insist that she share the bed when the couch would have worked just fine, and there was no real reason for Jillian to insist that she stay with her that night and Sunday night. Ashley doubted that this was the real reason but that was the thought that she kept coming back to. But maybe that was just because that was what she so wanted to believe was the real reason. She really didn't think Jillian was really her type but she knew that she was definitely attracted to her. "So you ready to go?" she heard Jillian say as she woke from her thoughts. "Do what?" Ashley had to asked more to give her mind time to return to earth. "I said are you ready to go. We got your stuff put away and made room for more, so let's go find some meanness to get into." Jillian said with a laugh as she came over taking Ashley's hand pulling her out of the bedroom and not letting go until they were at the door. "Just what type of meanness do you have in mind?" Ashley had to ask. "Oh nothing too bad," Jillian said with a laugh as she closed and locked the door then she took Ashley's hand again, taking her to the elevator and out to her car that she had parked on the curb in front of the apartment building. Jillian did live up to her promise as she only embarrassed her a little at the mall trying to get her to try on sexy little dresses and a bikini, neither of which Ashley would try on. They showed much too much of her body that she didn't think was as pretty as Jillian's was. Ashley tried to get Jillian to try them on but she seemed to be having more fun trying to get her to try them on. They stopped at the food court getting a loaded bake potato. When they finished eating, it was Ashley's turn to drag Jillian to the book store. She got most of her books now through the internet that she could read on her E-Reader. But she still loved to go to the book stories. She had spent most of her teenage years in book stores or at the library reading everything that she could. And by reading different authors, she learned how to write, copying some of their styles and making them into her own. While she looked at the books, she noticed that Jillian caroused the newspapers. They were both in their own element as they spent the next couple of hours there. They did at least buy a couple of things just to make up for spending so much time there. When they left the mall, they stopped at the grocery store to pick up milk and also some things that Ashley could cook for them on Sunday as well as that evening. When they got home, Ashley fixed them a light supper which they ate at the table. Then Jillian went to the living room and set up her laptop on the coffee table as she sat on the floor in front of it. Ashley set hers up at the kitchen table as she preferred studying as she sat in a regular chair. This worked fine for her, however Jillian's kitchen chairs were nice looking, they got hard fast. So she got up and went to the bedroom. She pulled the pillow that she had used the previous night bringing it back to sit on. "I can get you a softer chair to study with, that way you won't have to use your pillow." Jillian told her. "Oh I'm not using my pillow, I'm using yours," Ashley said with a big smile as she went on through the living room to the kitchen. Jillian laughed, "I don't want to hear any cheek music going on in there." "I told you I don't have gas," Ashley replied as she put the pillow in the chair and she sat down on it. "Oh yes much better, you do have a nice pillow." "Well it's yours now; I'm not putting my head on anything you've had your ass on." Jillian said with a laugh. "But it's such a cute ass," Ashley couldn't resist saying and then regretting that she had done so. But then she heard Jillian say, "That it is..." And that made Ashley smile as she went back to writing on her paper. Later on in the evening, Jillian came through to get herself something to drink, getting Ashley as coke while she was at it. She set Ashley's drink down beside of Ashley's laptop and then instead of going on back into the living room, she sat down beside of her. "So what're writing?" Jillian asked as she leaned in looking at Ashley's laptop. "Oh just a story for my advance writing class," Ashley said as she lowered the top of her laptop so Jillian couldn't read it. What she had told Jillian was true, it was a story for her class but it was also much more personal than that. When she had come to Jillian's apartment the previous evening, she had no clue as to what to write about for her class, but after spending the last twenty-four hours with her, an idea came to her and she had to go with it. "May I read it?" Jillian asked giving Ashley a look of disappointment as Ashley hid it from her. "Ahhh... yea but not until it's done and I get my grade on it, you see I never let anyone read anything I write until it is done." Ashley told her and she didn't let anyone read what she wrote until she felt it was ready but she wasn't so sure she ever wanted Jillian to read this story. "Okay, I can understand that, but I'm going to hold you to that promise," Jillian said flashing her big smile to Ashley who knew that Jillian wasn't going to let her get by without letting her read the story. Ashley smiled back but her stomach was churning as she visualized Jillian reading that story and what she would think of her. Jillian then got back up and as she walked away, Ashley felt Jillian's fingers touch her left shoulder and then run across her back to her other shoulder. Ashley turned her head and she looked up at Jillian and got another big warm smile. That smile warmed Ashley's heart and stopped the churning of her stomach. And once Jillian had turned her head and passed out of the kitchen, Ashley opened her laptop and her fingers began to fly across the keys. Jillian's smile had given her a surge of inspiration and her fingers couldn't type fast enough and she was a fast typist. Ashley lived for these moments when the words flew out of her and it was during these times that she felt that she did her best work. "I think I've had enough studying for tonight, how about you?" Jillian said as she came into the kitchen about eleven or so and she was yawning. "I was fine until I saw you yawn," Ashley said as she yawned in reflex. "Sorry," Jillian said frowning a bit. "That's okay, I've gotten about as much down on my story as I'm going to get." Ashley said as she hit the save icon on her computer screen. "So you want to see what's on TV or go to bed?" Jillian asked as she came over to where Ashley was sitting. "Mmmm... maybe a little TV and then bed, I believe," Ashley said as she stretched out her arms feeling the strain on her shoulders from sitting still for so long. "Stiff?" Jillian asked as she came in behind of Ashley placing her hands on Ashley's shoulders. "Yea, I always get stiff when I get on a roll with a story. I forget to move around and by the time I am ready to stop, my shoulders are killing me." Ashley told her. "Well let me see what I can do about that," Jillian said as she pulled on Ashley's arm getting Ashley to get up and follow her into the living room. "Here sit on the couch," Jillian told her and Ashley did so. But as soon as she did, she felt Jillian moving her around so that she was sitting sideways on the couch with her right leg folded under her left leg and her left foot still on the floor. She felt Jillian sit down behind of her then she could sense her moving so Ashley turned her head back and saw that Jillian was getting onto her knees. "What you doing?" Ashley asked as she felt Jillian's hands at her hips pulling her tee shirt up. "I'm just taking your tee shirt off so that I can get to your shoulders better. Don't worry; I'm not going to rape you or anything." Jillian said with a little laugh. Ashley let out a nervous laugh, yet she let Jillian pull her tee shirt leaving her in just her white cotton bra. "Now relax," Jillian said as she placed her hands onto Ashley's shoulders. Ashley felt herself tense up as she felt those soft hands on her bare skin. "Relax honey," Jillian said in a soft voice and Ashley did begin to relax as Jillian's hands and fingers began to press into her tense muscles. It took a couple of more minutes before Ashley could let herself relax completely as Jillian's hands stayed at her shoulders and they began to feel good as her fingers pressed in against her shoulders. Then she felt the palm of Jillian's hands press between her shoulder blades and that hurt at first but then it felt good. "Mmmm... that does feel better," Ashley said in a soft whisper as she let the last of the nervous tension go from her body. "Good, that's what I wanted. I'm a great shoulder rubber; I used to do this to my mom all the time when she came home from work." Jillian told her however Ashley doubted that she did it to her mom when her mom had her shirt off and was just in her bra. Jillian began to hum as she worked and Ashley felt her eyelids get heavy and she closed them just feeling herself relax more and more. She didn't even tense as Jillian's hands went lower down her back to where her bra strap was. They stayed there for a few moments and before Ashley knew what Jillian had done, her bra strap was unhooked. That woke Ashley up and she looked over her shoulder at Jillian. "Shhhh.. just relax," Jillian whispered to her and Ashley turned her head back forward. She had tensed up a bit but after a few moments, she realized that Jillian's hands were staying on her back and not going to her sides or trying to take her bra on off and uncovering her breasts. There was a big part of her that wanted to make love to Jillian but the rest of her wanted to see just who Jillian was and was her intentions were before she went there. Jillian kept rubbing her back and then went back up to her shoulders and neck as Ashley's eyes closed again and she got lost in the wonderful sensations that Jillian's hands and fingers were doing to her. Jillian went on for a few minutes more and then her hands disappeared and Ashley heard Jillian say, "Does that feel better?" "Oh yes thank you," Ashley said as she turned her head back toward Jillian giving her a soft smile. "Here's your tee shirt back, why don't you go ahead and take your bra off and just put your tee shirt on as I go to the bathroom." Jillian told her as she got up. "Thank you," Ashley told her again, "that felt great." "Sure any time, I love to give back rubs," Jillian told her giving her a big smile before turning and going out of the living room. Ashley waited until Jillian was gone before she pulled her bra off then she put her tee shirt back on. She turned around sitting back on the couch and it was then she realized that her panties were moist and she hoped that Jillian didn't smell her arousal. She picked up the remote, turning on the TV. When Jillian came back, Ashley noticed that she had changed into a sleep shirt that barely went past her panties; she did look so sexy making Ashley's panties even wetter. Ashley quickly excused herself to go to the bathroom, stopping off in Jillian's bedroom to get another pair of panties and one of her gowns. She went into the bathroom taking off her tee shirt and then her shorts and panties. She sat on the toilet naked to pee and resisted the urge to rub her pussy to a nice orgasm. She did take a moment to use a couple of Jillian's wet wipes to clean the moisture off her pussy before getting up and changing into her gown and clean pair of panties. When she came back, she saw that Jillian had popped some popcorn and had a movie ready to play. She sat down on the couch curling her feet up under her and taking a hand full of popcorn into her hand while Jillian got the movie started. They watched the movie and by then it was going on two in the morning so Jillian decided it was time to go to bed. Ashley felt a bit of nervous energy and excitement as they went into the bedroom. She was looking forward to sharing the bed with Jillian this time. "I thought you said you took my pillow," Jillian said as they entered the bedroom. Ashley laughed as she said, "I found an extra one and used it. I really didn't want either of us to be sleeping on a pillow that I had been farting on all evening." "Oh gross," Jillian said as she laughed. "You know we're going to have to get off talking about farting all the time." "Hey you started it," Ashley said in her defense. "Then I'm going to end it." Jillian told her. "Whatever you say Fart Blossom," Ashley said with a laugh. Jillian didn't say anything as she pulled the covers back and Ashley wondered if she had gone too far but then she saw Jillian grab a pillow and she came up swinging it hitting Ashley on the side then she burst out laughing as Ashley stood there in shock. "Oh it's on now!" Ashley said running to the other side of the bed and grabbing the other pillow. "Bring it girl," Jillian said with a laugh as she motioned for Ashley to come at her. "I plan on it!" Ashley said as she came toward her with her pillow cocked. "Wait a minute," Jillian said as Ashley was about to swing. "What?" Ashley said wondering why Jillian suddenly stopped the game before it began. "First we got to get your glasses off, I don't want to break them when I beat you to a pulp," Jillian said as she reached up taking Ashley's glasses off which for some reason felt erotic to her. Ashley waited until Jillian had put her glasses on the night stand, then she said, "You're the one that's going to get beat to a pulp." Then she began to hit Jillian with her pillow before Jillian could retrieve her own pillow. "Hey no fair!" Jillian yelled as she laughed and also ran around the bedroom trying to get away from Ashley's pillow. However Ashley kept herself between Jillian and her pillow, at least for a while but then she let Jillian get her pillow so that they both could fight. They both fought hard to get in more licks but they were both doing more laughing and squealing than actually hitting each other. After about fifteen minutes of fighting they both collapsed on the bed out of breath and laughing. "Oh god that was fun," Ashley said in a sigh as they lay side by side breathing hard. "Yes it was and maybe now you will think twice about calling me a fart blossom," Jillian said. "Yea right," Ashley said with a laugh. They both lay there in silence for a while and Ashley felt her heart beating hard as she thought about Jillian laying so close to her, not touching her but all so close. Ashley felt the desire to be kissed by Jillian but in a way she was glad that Jillian didn't try. Instead, Jillian finally got up declaring it was time for them to get some sleep. They took turns in the bathroom before getting into the bed. "Sweet dreams, Fart blossom," Ashley told her after the lights went out. Ashley felt Jillian moving around and then the expected pillow came down on her stomach. "Sweet dreams," Jillian told her. "Night," Ashley said as she giggled and then she heard Jillian giggling. And the more Jillian giggled and harder it was for Ashley to stop giggling. "God we sound like a couple of little girls giggling and trying to stop before our parents come in to hush us up." Jillian said to her. "I know, I can just hear my father coming down the hallway." Ashley replied. "Me too," Jillian said as she gave a last giggle then she quieted down as did Ashley. Soon Ashley felt herself falling asleep with a smile on her face thinking about the day she had with Jillian. So it wasn't a big surprise that she woke up the next morning realizing that sometime during the night she had a wonderful dream that she couldn't quiet remember but she knew it was nice.
