"I will see you after school, bye" Maxie said and following it with a nice kiss. She was trying so hard to be what I wanted now. Even so far as to leaving me breathless last night (REALLY laid me good). She swayed off to class as I sat there with a goofy grin on my face. The seat beside me soon being filled as Cindy plopped down beside me. Bumping my shoulder.
"Hey tickles" I said as the smile left her face and turned to a dirty look.
"Not funny!"
"The whole bladder thing?"
"Shut up!" Cindy demanded.
"I won't tell anyone" I said. "I won't."
"Promise?"
"I do and from now on when you say stop, I will" I said as she smiled. "Means we can't wrestle anymore?"
"Not even, you're fun" Cindy said.
"Although you never beat me."
"I'll will beat you, your ass that is" Cindy said with a grin.
"Oh so you do like girls?" I asked as she laughed and pushed me away while blushing.
"Yes I do" She said softly.
"Just no good at talking to them" Cindy said. "It's easier to punch one than hit on one in the other way."
"And you can definitely punch" I commented as she smiled. "And don't worry so much about it, I suck at talking to girls too."
"You do, since when?" Cindy asked.
"Since forever" I said. "Ir's kind of why I'm into girls now. That and I discovered I was kind of gay."
"What about your girlfriend?" Cindy asked. I hated to admit it, but she had a point. Maybe my age old reflex of babbling my way through an introduction was finally gone. Hell, it hadn't come back in the over two months since I'd been here. I'd met a new girlfriend and various other hot chicks and nothing had happened.
"I guess I grew out of it" I said with a shrug. But that's when I saw HER for the first time. Red hair, a gorgeous shy smile and just...WOW. "Who is that?"
"UMMMMMM...Bre Kelton" Cindy said. "She's in my political science class."
"WOW, now she's hot as fuck" I said as she quickly walked through a throng of giggling girls. One of those being my EVER present adversary, Misti Grider, who proceeded to push the girl.
"Is she always starting something?" I asked as I saw Bre give Misti a seriously dirty look.
"You got a problem Red?" Misti asked as she confronted the girl. Selena being her back-up. Bre quickly backed down.
"No...nooo" Bre said as she tried to walk off and slammed into Selena and knocked the girls books to the ground. "I'm sorry...OWWWWWW!"
Selena smacking Bre with an open hand before Bre slumped to one knee and started to cry as she held her cheek and of course that prompted me to try playing the hero once again and for a girl I didn't even know. I stood up as Cindy instinctively backed me and we walked over to see the crowd part as Misti stood down as soon as she saw us. Selena smiling as she grabbed Bre's hair and dragged her back up and was about to smack her again when I grabbed her hand.
"What the fuck?" Selena asked and jumped away when she saw us.
"That's what I would like to know" I said. "You got a problem with everyone?"
"You need to stay out of my business" Misti said. "I don't give a fuck who your daddy is."
"My dad don't have anything to do with this" I replied. "I'll kick your ass anytime you want."
"Misti don't like it when the odds are even" Cindy said. "Well now, they are."
"Dumb blond" Selena said to Cindy.
"If I'm so dumb then come on over here and punch me" Cindy said. "I'll bet you I got enough brains to whip your ass."
"This is ain't over" Misti said as she took Selena's hand and pulled her along as they left.
"Thank you" Bre said as she half-smiled at me. A smile that completely made me lose my cool (stunning!) and for the first time since I've been here my mind sorta went offline and the 'Amazing Babbling Girl' made an appearance.
"UMMMMMM....sure why not!"
"Say what?" Bre asked as Cindy giggled.
"Your names Bre?" I managed to get out as she smiled and nodded her yes.
"Uh huh and you are who?"
"I'm...uhhhh....I know it....ummmmmm..." I stammered and you probably wouldn't believe me but my mind went completely blank in that moment. Forcing me to turn and look at Cindy and ask this, "...what's my fuckin name?"
"Albert" Cindy said with a straight face. I breathed a sigh of relieve and turned back to Bre and said confidently, "I'm Albert. Huh? Wait, no it's not. I'm gonna kill you Cindy."
"You have to catch me first, Albert" Cindy said as she took off running and I, without thinking (yet again), turned and sprinted after her. I chased her completely around the outside of the Carlson center and actually arrived a few moments later back at the courtyard. Both of us to pooped to pop a punch by now and just slumped down into a seat by the exit. I looked around for Bre but she was now gone, as was most everyone else. Cindy starting to giggle again. "You caught me, Albert."
"I should kill you" I said as I pushed off the bench to the grass. Her laughing harder. "Now she's thinks I'm a moron."
"What does it matter? You have a girlfriend" Cindy asked. Prompting me to wonder for a long moment about me and Maxie and if she was what I wanted. "And what the hell was that babbling about? Who forgets their own name?"
"She had this amazing smile" I said. "I don't know. Doesn't matter now anyway cause she'll never speak to me again."
"I don't know about that..." Cindy said as I pulled her up back to her feet. "...if you remember your name next time, maybe she will, Albert."
"One more word and I'm gonna get me some thigh" I said as Cindy gave me a challenging smile.

"You're skin is sooo smooth" I said as I gently caressed Mindy's thigh as she grinned at me.
"You better stop" Mindy said as she gently pushed my hand away. I giggled and moved it back as she gave me a look that spoke volumes.
Currently, we were out beyond the center field fence at Francis Park, where Cindy was practicing. The place has a secluded little patch of trees that lead down to the lake. It's so romantic and has quickly become my favorite place (except my own dorm) to go with Mindy so we could be alone. She said as much as well.
"I said...OHMIGOD!" Mindy started to say before I squeezed my fingers into her thigh muscle and made her squeal in laughter as she scooted away and I crawled after her. "Stop, Dakota, I'm ticklish, please stop...OHMIGOD!"
"You're gonna do what I want this time Mindy Sullivan" I said as she laid back on the grass and let me crawl over her. A huge smile on her face as I tickled her again and she squealed in laughter and fought me to stop. Finally, kissing me softly to make me stop. "MMMMMMM!"
"I win" Mindy said with a victorious smile. "You can't resist me."
"Very true" I said. "Wanna see me naked?"
"HMMMMMMM" Mindy said as she looked at me with her fingers on her chin as if she were thinking long and hard about this.
"Mindy Sullivan, you better not say no" I said as she giggled.
"How am I supposed to answer that?" She asked. "I'm flying blind here."
"Me too" I said as I kissed her cheek. "But I am so into you."
"Me?" Mindy asked with a nervous smile. Pointing to herself as I nodded my head and kissed her softly.
"Yesss you" I said as I kissed her softly. "You too?"
"I'm in love with you" She said. The smile leaving her face when I stalled as she looked down. A shocking announcement usually takes a moment or 57 to sink in and this was what Mindy took as my stalling. I laid there on my stomach for the longest time in silence, a deafening silence. She got to her feet after a few LONG moments and slowly walked off. Hurt that I didn't say it back. Do you blame her?
Finally, my mind snapped back online and I slowly got to my feet and went after her. Finding her standing a few feet away from the center field fence.
"Mindy?" I asked as I stopped behind her. "Talk to me?"
"If you don't feel the same it's OK!"
"I do..."
"Look, why don't you just go and forget I said anything?"
"Listen to me" I said as I grabbed her arm a bit to hard and she turned and forcefully pushed me away. I was falling backwards when I saw the tears in her eyes. A moment later I crashed to the ground...in the middle of a mud puddle. "EWWWWWWWW!"
"I'm so sorry" Mindy said as she rushed back to my side. Extending her hands to pull me up. You can pretty much guess what happened here...we both ended up in the mud. So funny. "EWWWWWWWWWW! You did that on purpose."
"Why would I do that on purpose?" I asked.
"Because I said I loved you and you couldn't handle it" She said. "I didn't mean to push you in the mud. That was mean."
"You wouldn't even let me respond..."
"I don't wanna hear the speech about how you don't feel the same" Mindy said as she tried to get up and did a belly flop back into the mud and was now covered in it as I laughed from a foot or so away. Forgetting where I was and falling back into the mud and getting it all over myself and into my hair.
"Stop laughing at me" Mindy demanded as she lunged at me and despite the anger in her voice I could tell she still wanted me to wrestle with her and WE DID!
"STOP! WILL YOU LISTEN TO ME?" I practically screamed as she smeared mud into every pore of my body and I did the same thing to her.
"NOOOOOO!" She screamed in reply. I finally did get some kind of control and pinned her down in the grass just to the side of the mud puddle and even though she fought me I was able to cover her big mouth for a moment and finally say, "Listen to me for one second please?"
"I don't care what you got to say" She said as she pushed me off and got to her feet and walked off without another glance backwards. I somehow got to my feet and chased after her. Picking up the blanket we'd brought with this as she turned the corner and was headed up the path towards the stands. I finally just stopped and decided to scream it.
"I LOVE YOU TOO" I screamed as loud as I could. She stopped, froze and turned back towards me and looked at me in shock. Pointing to herself as I smiled and nodded my head to confirm. She came back to meet me in a daze.
"Are you just saying that to keep me from leaving?" Mindy asked.
"I feel the same way you do" I said as she smiled. "I'm in love with you, I have been for over a year."
"A year? We've only been dating for a few weeks..."
"I saw you on the first day you got here" I said. "I was too chicken to talk to you until Cally gave me the courage. I've been kinda..."
"Stalking me..."
"I was not" I said. "Admiring from a far?"
"OHMIGOD, I'm in love with my stalker" Mindy said as I laughed. She smiled and swept some of the mud out of her hair and flung it at me. "That's for making me feel the way you do."
"What the hell?"
"You made me fall in love with you" She said.
"You made me do the same thing" I said and smearing some mud from my hair on to her cheeks and to my hearts desire she giggled. Kissing me a few moments later. So perfect...
Damn it! We're out of time, but here's a teaser for next time...Mindy and I...'make love'. See ya then.
