They saw her mom sitting on the couch watching Leno, dressed in a purple silk robe. A small, unopened bottle of champagne sat on the table in front of her. Sarah's dad struck a pose and bellowed, "Queen of the Ball. I have found our wayward princesses and escorted them back to the safety of the keep. You can rest easy now." All three women fell out laughing. "Well, girls. Did you have a good time?" "You bet." "Why don't you go get changed and join us for a toast." "Sure." Sarah's mom motioned her over and whispered in her ear, "I think the Valentine's Fairy visited while you were out." Sarah smiled, "You'll be sure to thank her for me?" "My pleasure. Now go get changed," patting Sarah on her rump. The girls opened their bedroom door to a fantastic, erotic sight. A couple of candles were lit. The bed was turned down and the sheets were dusted with a scented powder. Pressing 'Play' on the entertainment system brought forth Bobby Vinton singing Blue Velvet. Two plain shopping bags sat on the dresser top. One had a yellow rose in front of it, along with an envelope with Allison's name on it. The other one had a small, white box in front of it, along with an envelope with Sarah's name on it. "I wonder what's in the bags?" asked Sarah. "I don't know," replied Allison. "I suppose we could find out." "You first." Be My Valentine! Allison picked up the rose and sniffed it. She put it down and picked up the envelope, opening it. She slowly drew the card out and read it. Gasping, Allison threw herself on Sarah. She kept kissing Sarah and saying "Yes" over and over as they fell back onto the bed. Finally, Sarah had to grab Allison by her ears, "Slow down, Sunshine. A girl has to breathe once in a while, doesn't she? Does this mean you'll be my valentine?" Thumping Sarah on the arm, "Beast. Yes." "Then why don't you see what's in the shopping bag." Allison let Sarah up and brought her shopping bag over to the bed. She reached in and brought out a box labeled Victoria's Secret. Lifting the lid, Allison folded back the tissue paper and lifted up a white satin robe. The sleeves flared out in a kimono style. She stood up and tried it on. She spun around and fell on Sarah again, kissing her, "I love it. Thank you, munchkin." Sarah had to grab Allison by the ears again, "Is that all that was in the bag?" Allison sat up and reached into the bag, bringing out another Victoria's Secret box. In it was a nightgown, white, like the robe. The bodice was embroidered and trimmed with eyelet lace and satin ribbon, a single button in the middle. She bent down and kissed Sarah, long, slow, and passionately, "It's beautiful. Thank you, love." "You're welcome, love. I guess I should find out what's in my bag." Sarah opened the envelope and drew out the card. She turned and kissed Allison just as passionately, "Yes, I'll be your valentine." "I didn't leave you the card." "Yes, you did." Sarah held out the card so Allison could see the signature. There was a small 'VF' at the bottom. "VF stands for Valentine's Fairy. Mom told me a fable when I was young about a town where an anonymous person went around on Valentine's Day making sure lovers; known and unknown were together and happy. Try as they might, they could never learn who it was. The only indication that anyone had ever been there was a card signed with a 'VF'. The moral of the story was that the fairy is close to you and loves you very much even if you're not sure who it is. That sounds just like you." It was hard to tell what Allison was thinking, "What's in the box?" Sarah opened the small box to find a bracelet. It was in the same style as her waist chain and had two charms hanging from it, a megaphone, and a soccer ball. She jumped on Allison and started kissing all over her face, "It's so beautiful. I love it. We can add a charm from all our trips and other memorable occasions. Thank you, sunshine." Suspecting 'VF' had struck again, Allison laid back, accepting Sarah's joy and love. "You're welcome, munchkin," grabbing her ears. "What's in your shopping bag?" Sarah brought the bag over to the bed and resumed her position atop Allison. She drew out a Victoria's Secret box containing a robe just like Allison's. She drew out another box containing a nightgown. It was embroidered and trimmed with satin ribbon and lace like Allison's, but in a different style. Where Allison's was more fitted, Sarah's was fuller. Sarah's had a ruffle around the bottom that Allison's didn't have. "I love them both," bending down to kiss Allison lovingly. "What's say we try them on and see if the 'rents like them too? Besides, they must think we've been swallowed up in here, we've been so long." "Sounds like a plan to me." The girls got out of their evening dresses and carefully hung them up. It was hard not to just fall into bed and make love but they knew they had to put in an appearance. They slipped on their new nightgowns and robes. Allison carried her valentine card and Sarah wore her bracelet. Sarah's mom was still seated on the couch, but now, she was snuggled under the arm of her dad, who had changed into pajamas and a silk robe too. "You were right, dear. They weren't asleep from exhaustion, just having fun." "You can pay me later. What took you so long?" "The Valentine's Fairy was working overtime so we had a lot to explore." "Anything you can show us?" "The lingerie for one thing." Both Sarah and Allison twirled, showing off their new robes and nightgowns. "Very pretty." "Yes, very beautiful, punkin. What else?" As this was happening, Sarah's dad uncorked the champagne bottle and poured four glasses. Allison spoke up first, "Sarah left me a yellow rose and a valentine," handing them the card. Sarah's parents read the card. Her mom had a tear in her eye, "Very lovely. You did say 'yes', didn't you?" Sarah piped up, "I'll say. I had to grab her by the ears in order to breathe. The Valentine's Fairy left me this," holding out her hand to show them her charm bracelet. "Very pretty. Have you decided what other charms you want to put on it?" "Not for sure. We talked about some, but didn't decide on any." Sarah's dad handed everyone a glass, "Ladies, please raise your glass in a toast." Sarah and Allison looked at him. "Yes, that includes you. This is a special occasion and we're all going to bed soon, so you have permission for one glass." He raised his glass and everyone imitated his gesture, "To Valentine's Day. May we get to the point, when we celebrate it everyday, not just once a year." "Here, here," and everyone clinked glasses. Sarah and Allison weren't used to the bubbles but liked how the champagne tasted. "So who was the best dancer?" "Well, after dad, of course..." "Very diplomatic. You're sure politics isn't in your future?" "Yes, Mom. Dad really was the best." "That's right, Dr. Black. He was." "I agree with you. But, of course, I'm prejudiced. So who was next best?" "Well, both the Governor and the Mayor were very smooth, but not as good a teacher if I wasn't sure of the steps. The Congressman was the most energetic. But the person I most wanted to dance with was Allison. I had a real good time. Thanks for letting us come." "Me too." "You're very welcome, girls. We had a good time too. But us old-timers are going to go to bed. See you in the morning." "Night." As her parents moved towards their bedroom, Sarah turned to Allison, "How about we see if the Valentine's Fairy left us anything else?" "I'm game." They walked hand-in-hand to the bedroom. The candles were still burning, a rose scent. A new song was just starting, Charlie Rich, The Most Beautiful Girl in the World. Sarah turned towards Allison and traced her hand lightly down her cheek. Allison shivered a bit with the sensation. She enfolded Sarah and ran her hands up and down Sarah's back. Drawing Allison's face down, Sarah kissed each cheek, and then her lips. Her tongue dueled with Allison's. When they broke the kiss, Sarah brushed her hands across Allison's shoulders and her robe pooled at her feet. Sarah started kissing from one shoulder across to the other, with a stop at both earlobes. At the same time, she drew the straps of Allison's nightgown down over her shoulders, exposing her breasts. Allison's breasts were swollen with excitement, her nipples pointed and rock-hard. Sarah sat on the bed and pulled Allison close. Sarah began to trace the contours of Allison's breast with her tongue. Exploring all the hills and valleys, starting at the bottom, Sarah endeavored to memorize every detail. Mimicking her tongue with her hand on the other breast, she explored it too, occasionally switching mouth with hand. Allison's breath grew shorter. Allison brushed Sarah's robe off along with the straps of her nightgown. Sarah's nightgown fell to her waist. Allison reached down and fondled Sarah's nipples, alternately stretching them out or pushing them in and letting them pop back out. Faith Hill was singing This Kiss. Allison ran her hands through Sarah's hair and hugged her close. A small orgasm snuck up on Allison. Not a mind-blowing, screaming, faint dead away orgasm, but a gentle tingle spreading from her breasts to her toes and back again. Allison pushed Sarah back onto the bed. She let her nightgown pool at her feet and reached for Sarah's. Sarah lifted herself a little to allow Allison to draw her nightgown the rest of the way off and scooted back along the bed. Her motion stirred up the powder that dusted the sheets and the rose scent grew stronger. Allison followed Sarah up the bed... A knock on the bedroom door woke up Sarah and Allison. They hadn't moved since they fell asleep a couple of hours ago. Sarah lifted her head off Allison's shoulder, her arms still wrapped around her, "Yea?" Johnny Mathis was singing, "Chances are..." "Girls," Sarah's mom answered, "Time to get up. Breakfast will be here in a few minutes and we need to get ready to go home." "Right away, mom." Sarah reached down and lightly punched Allison in the arm. "Morning, sunshine. Sun's up and food's here. I'm famished. Let's go." Allison snuggled in a little closer, "Five more minutes, Mom." "I'm not your mom and in five minutes, Mom and Dad may have eaten everything. I'm hungry." Sarah punched Allison in the arm again. Allison's eyes opened, "Ow! I'm awake, munchkin, or should I say runchkin. I'm hungry, too. Let's go." The girls unwrapped from each other, with a few kisses and fondles sprinkled in, and jumped out of bed. They put their nightgowns back on and headed out to the main room. Sarah's dad looked up, "Good morning, ladies. Did you get any sleep at all?" "Daaaaad!? What a question. Yes, we got some sleep. Thanks again for yesterday." "You're very welcome, punkin. I was asking because a sound like a wounded animal woke me up early this morning. I didn't hear it again, so I went back to sleep." Both Sarah and Allison blushed from the top of their ears down. Sarah knew her dad was kidding he had heard them making love. Trying to change the subject, "Did you leave us anything for breakfast?" Sarah's mom came out of their room, "Sure, over on the cart." "Morning, momster." "Morning, ladies. Sleep well?" Apparently she hadn't heard the 'wounded animal' sound her dad had or wasn't going to mention it, "Fine, Mom. We were just going to hit the breakfast cart." "Don't take too long. You still have to get showers and get everything packed up so we can go home." "OK. Are you and Dad done in the large bathroom for now?" "Yes. You're probably going to need towels." "We'll raid our bathroom." The four of them polished off the breakfast cart in record time. Sarah and Allison hit the showers, each making sure the other was really clean. When they were done, they dressed and started packing. Each carefully packed their ball gown to start. Continuing with their suitcases, they were ready well before time for Thomas to arrive and take them downstairs. Right on the dot of Noon, the chime rang. Allison opened the door to find Thomas pushing a cart. "Hello, Thomas. Right on time, I see." "When I'm responsible for three fine ladies, I pay attention. Are you ready?" "We are, gallant sir." Allison led him into their bedroom and loaded up the dress bags, suitcases, and other items. Then she led Thomas into the other bedroom to get Sarah's parents things. Sarah's mom made a last look around to make sure nothing was forgotten. Sarah came up and planted a kiss on Thomas' cheek, "Thank you for taking such good care of us." "You're very welcome. That's a very pretty bracelet." "Thank you. The Valentine's Fairy left it for me." "You'll have to tell me that story next time you come." Turning to Sarah's dad, "Good afternoon, sir. Are we ready to go?" "Thank you, Thomas. We are indeed ready to go." Down the elevator, Thomas took the girls and Sarah's mom out to the limo while Sarah's dad stopped at the front desk to initial the bill. He came out just as Thomas and the driver finished loading the luggage into the limo trunk. Sarah and Allison held hands and looked out the back window of the limo as they pulled away from the hotel. Wistfully, they remembered the good time they'd had and started looking forward to next year. [top of page] © 2004 Donal
