Unexpected Love Pt. 5 By Natalie Marie


 Shane woke up the next morning her eyes were still puffy from all the
crying she had done. She left Jess house without saying anything to her.
She went to Nikki's house and she could tell that something was wrong
with Shane.
"What's wrong baby."
"Nothing."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes I'm sure."
"Just tired that's all."

 She laid down and Nikki laid next to her. Shane kissed her and told her
that she loves her. Tears started to fall down Shane's face.
"I knew something was wrong with you. What's up baby? I hate when your
like this."
 With tears coming down her eyes she said
"I don't want to hurt you but last night I spent the night at the house
of the woman I use to be in love with."
"Ok,so what does that mean exactly?"
"She fingered me last night, but I didn't touch her."

 Nikki was crying at this point
"What the fuck? I cant believe that you let that happen."
"You say you love me and want to start a family with me but you let some
other woman touch you."
"I'm so sorry sweetheart, she doesn't mean anything to me anymore."
"That's bullshit id though love me so much nothing would of happened."

 Both girls were crying and Shane tried to kiss her but she pushed her to
the ground.
"Get the fuck away from me I never want to see you again and I don't want
to hear from you ANYMORE."
"But I said I'm sorry I didn't even touch her."
"I don't fucking care get out of my house now."

 Shane left the house and sat in her car crying. She used her fake id to
and brought some vodka. She went to her favorite spot and drank almost
the whole bottle of vodka. She was completely wasted and called Nikki but
she didn't answer her phone. Shane got into her car and was speeding down
the street and to make things worst she was drunk and the ground was wet
from the rain. She lost control of her car and crashed into a tree. Shane
was taken to the hospital and was in a coma. Mr. Marks was at the
hospital waiting for his daughter to wake up. Seeing his daughter lying
in that hospital bed brought tears to his eyes. He felt horrible for
kicking her out when he caught her and Nikki. Shane had no signs of
waking up anytime soon. Nikki was in her room and was thinking about
Shane because she was really missing her. Mr. Lawson came in his daughter
room and said
"Nikki I really need to tell you something."
"What's wrong dad why are you crying?"
"Sweetie I'm sorry to tell you this but Shane is in a coma."
 She has this dumbfound look on her face and she turned pale. She was
crying hysterically.
"Are you serious dad?"
"Yes sweetie I'm really serious."
"How did it happen?"
"Well she got really drunk the other night and was driving on the rain
slick road and crashed into a tree."
"Oh my goodness I cant believe it. I feel like this is all my fault."
"Why do you say that because we got into a big fight and I told her I
didn't want to see her again."
"You cant blame yourself for this,you understand me?"
"Yes dad I do."
"Do you want me to take you to the hospital to go see her?"
"Yes dad I would really appreciate that"

 The car ride was quite besides Nikki's sniffles every now and again. Her
dad dropped her off at the hospital and she slowly walked in the
hospital. She walked into Shane's room and she saw her in the bed with
iv's coming out her arm. She broke down
"I am so sorry baby this is all my fault. Please wake up baby."

 Mr. Marks walked into the room, and he saw Nikki. He did something that
was totally unexpected he held Nikki in his arms as she cried.
"Are you ok Nikki?"
"I feel like this is all my fault."
"It's not your fault at all."
"It's my fault for kicking her out of the house."
"We cant blame ourselves we just have to hope she wakes up."
"I already told her sorry but she cant hear me so I will say it to you as
well Nikki I am sorry for treating you and Shane like I did that day."
"It's ok Mr. Marks I can understand why you acted the way you did."

 They both sat and talked for a while hoping that Shane would wake up.
The doctors said that they aren't sure when she will wake up. After
hearing that they both broke down. They were both scared that she wasn't
going to wake up they had to look at the girl they both love laid in the
hospital bed and couldn't do anything about it. Shane was still in a coma
after a week and signs of her making up were getting less likely. Mr.
Marks and Nikki was at Shane's bedside everyday wishing that she would
wake up.
