All comments, good or bad, are welcome and all will be answered. Part Seven Smith was quickly out of Stacey's arms to get out of the shelter and stay in a crouch as he picked up the spear. `Stay back inside,' he hissed in a low voice to Carlton as he was about to emerge. `Your bandage is too visible.' The girls too had all got to their knees and were fumbling around, trying to find their belts with their knives, not wearing them when they were going to settle down for the night. A pale figure emerged into their small clearing, hesitating as to which way to go. `Stay right where you are!' Smith called out, `and drop any weapons you might be carrying.' The figure dropped down onto their knees and burst out crying. `Toni!' Tiki cried out, recognising that it was a female out there, and with Carol being dead, it was the only other person it could be. She got out of the shelter and went over and sure enough, it was Toni, sobbing with relief that she had found the group. Tiki put her arms round the other girl's shoulders and lifted her up and Toni clung to her. `Thank God I found you,' she sobbed. `I think I've been going round in circles ever since I got over the ridge.' `Stay out there,' Carlton said in a low voice to Smith as Tiki brought Toni towards the shelter. `It might be a ruse.' But it wasn't as they found out a few minutes later. `I had to get away,' she babbled. `I couldn't stay there any longer. Please let me stay? Don't send me back, I'm begging you,' she cried. `Shush now, shush,' Tiki crooned. `You're safe here. We wouldn't send you back,' she said as she sat Toni down next to Carlton. `You did the right thing.' `I couldn't stand another night with them,' Toni sobbed and went on to say what they did to her. `The first time I went with George, it was okay. I know I was selling myself really, but he was the only one with a lighter. But then he started to get worse, especially when he saw your naked breasts. He then wanted to see mine every time I wanted a cigarette. He would kiss and suck on my nipples and he would get a hard on and make me go down on my knees and suck on him. If I didn't, I would get a clip round the ear and he'd refuse to give me a light for my cigarette. So I finished up sucking his cock and got another clip round the ear when I spat his come out for I had to swallow it as well.' She was still sobbing as she carried on. `Then I had to have sex with the others and it wasn't long before I had to be on my hands and knees with one of them fucking me from behind whilst I sucked on another's cock. It got worse when Carol disappeared.' Tiki looked at Carlton and he shook his head. They then wanted me to have three of them at once. That I wouldn't do, cigarettes or no cigarettes, I wasn't going to have one of them fucking me up the arse at the same time. Even without that, I still had all four of them fucking me if I wasn't sucking on them and it was getting too much, so I stole all the cartons of cigarettes and ran away to find you. If Carol could get away without them having her, so could I.' `They did have her I'm afraid Toni. Then they killed her,' Tiki said with a tremble in her voice. `Killed her? Oh my God! The animals!' she screamed, `and I thought she was safely over here.' This brought on a fresh flood of tears. `Which reminds me,' said Tiki over the girl's shaking shoulders as she hung onto Tiki. `We still haven't put up the cross yet,' she said to Carlton. `We'll do that after we've moved,' he replied, his hand now stroking the back of Toni's head. `You're safe now Toni. Safe with us. Come into the shelter and settle yourself down.' He moved back in and Tiki helped Toni inside and made her lay down next to Carlton and she then lay down on the other side. `Okay Smith, you can come back in. I don't think they'll be out looking for her in the dark. We'll have to be up and ready at first light though.' There was a lot of movement as knives were put away, Smith leaving the spear to hand just above his head, before settling himself down and going back into the arms of Stacey. `Oh Robert thank you,' Toni whispered as she nestled herself close to him. `I was so frightened out there on my own. I thought I'd never find you,' her hand now on his chest. `I thought they had killed you when I saw them drag you to the ridge and throw you over.' She was crying again and she buried her face into his shoulder as her hand now clutched his arm, hers now across his chest. He got his other arm out and put it under her neck to make her comfortable and to hold her close to him as she cried out her relief. They lay like this for at least fifteen minutes before she had calmed down and then gave him a kiss on the cheek. `Thank you Robert. I even brought your cigarettes back with me,' she said with a hiccup and a soft little laugh. `I couldn't leave them for those other bastards to smoke, though I couldn't get his lighter.' He chuckled and gave her back a stroke, finding it strange to now hold a woman in his arms and feel that she was wearing a bra. How long, he wondered, would it be before she dispensed with it and also, how long would it be before she would call him Bob. He fell asleep even though the thoughts he'd had, had aroused him. * He awoke well before dawn with pins and needles in his arm for Toni hadn't moved in the night. As he moved to ease his arm, she came awake, clutching at him until she realised where she was and then relaxed. `I meant what I said,' she whispered to him as she felt his body against hers and that he had been aroused, `about you giving me the cigarettes,' and she kissed him and pulled him towards her as she rolled over onto her back. `Are you sure you want to?' Carlton asked in a whisper and he felt her hand lift his and place it on her breast. `Yes,' she whispered back. `When it was one of them, I imagined it was you and that was the only way I could do it. Now with you, I feel safe and this is the only way I can thank you.' He wasn't wearing the rope fashioned belt with the palm leaf and so it was his naked erection that she could feel pressing up against her thigh. She rolled towards him and felt his erection slide between them and got it pressed up hard between their stomachs as she pulled his head towards hers for a kiss. As they kissed, she put her hand down to grasp his erection, feeling the strength and power it had, liking the feel of the solid muscle beneath the smooth soft skin and gently began to move it in her hand. `Take me now. I want you on top and inside me,' she whispered and moved so that she could open her legs for him. She could only see his shape in the darkness as he moved over her and felt his prick touch the lips of her sex and she sighed as he started to slide into her, his weight increasing on her body as he fully entered her and their stomachs met. `It's bigger than I thought it would be and it feels nice where it is,' she murmured, giving him a squeeze as she put her arms up to his shoulders and ran her fingers down his back. He started moving slowly, taking long strokes, lifting his hips to almost pull out before sliding back, giving her a real sense of being filled. Though she couldn't see his face, she was sure he was smiling as he slowly fucked her and so she smiled back and hoped that he could see the joy and pleasure that was on hers. She began to squeeze him on every forward stroke, clenching her buttock muscles at the same time for maximum grip as he shafted away, enjoying the moment. It was the movement of their bodies that woke Tiki up and she sleepily stroked his moving back. `You can now call him Bob,' she murmured to Toni before she went back to sleep with a smile on her face. It gave Toni an added excitement that she was being watched and she felt her orgasm start to build. `Now,' she panted. `I'm starting to come. Harder, harder,' she begged in as low a voice as she could and began to buck her hips up to meet him. Her passion mounted as he began to start ramming himself into her and they both gave out a small cry as they came at the same time, his body shuddering and his prick throbbing inside as he came, sending his seed deep into her belly. She was shaking in the throes of her orgasm and scratched his back in her frenzied thrashing as she felt his cock expand even more as he came. She gave out a sob as she felt him pull out of her, his sweat covered chest sliding easily over her sweating body as he did so with a sweet sucking sound and he flopped onto his side. She turned her face to his and they kissed and she snuggled into his arms knowing that she was now in safe hands. * He didn't go back to sleep and as he sensed a change in the sky, began to get up and wake the others. He went down alone, naked to the sea while it was still dark to bathe himself before going back and putting his belt on, making sure that the knives were there. As the others went off in groups for the toilet and wash, he cut some fruit up and shelled some nuts and opened one can of tuna for their breakfast. It was just beginning to get light when they'd finished and so they destroyed the shelter, taking the stout poles and as much of the saplings that they could carry as well as the collected palm tree leaves, up to what would be their new shelter. Toni had picked up her blouse that she had dropped the night before when entering their camp site. This held the cigarettes and also her birth control pills. She also carried her share of what they were taking with them. Just before leaving, Judy had seen to Carlton's head, cleaning the wound which she saw was beginning to heal nicely before putting the bandage back round his head. Toni had gasped when she saw it, not having noticed the turban look during the night, but he assured her that he felt alright now. He, in turn, noticed that her shorts were only staying on her body by a wing and a prayer and that one strap of her bra was missing as was one clip at the back. The sun had not long been up in the sky when they reached the new site and Carlton had Pearl stay just inside the trees that overlooked the pool to note and report on who and when it was visited by the Easterners. This is what they had started to call King's group of four men wondering by what name they were being called by them in turn. This sentry duty was changed roughly every two hours, Stacey taking the second stint. There had not been any visits during Pearl's watch. It was half an hour into this watch of Stacey's that John and Liam appeared not only carrying four melon shells but two clubs fashioned from tree branches. They had approached the pool warily, eyes constantly scanning the trees, Stacey staying well hidden. They filled the shells, one doing this and the other one standing guard until they were full before setting off back down to the eastern side of the ridge. When they had disappeared, Stacey made her way to their new site where the shelter was being built and reported what she had seen. Carlton and Smith listened and told her to go back until she was relieved by Tiki. `So it looks as though they'll have something to eat before they come looking for Toni,' Smith said to Carlton. `Yes, and my bet is they'll scour the beach area of trees first before they start to look higher.' `Why don't we hit them first?' Smith asked. `We're not ready for that yet. We've only got the one spear so far,' Carlton replied. `Not them, but their camp I mean. Let's destroy their camp as they did ours. Let them know that we are not going to let them walk all over us.' `Hmm, good idea. It might make them split up later on. We'll give it an hour and I'll go down with one of the girls to do it,' Carlton said. `No. You can't go. Your bandage sticks out like a beacon against the greenery of the trees. I'll go and take Pearl with me.' So Carlton agreed to this and an hour later, Smith armed with two knives and the spear and Pearl with her two knives and a rough club set off for the eastern shelter. Before their departure, Smith had helped Carlton get the main frame up so while they went off to fire the opening salvo, the rest continued to labour and make a really good weatherproof shelter. This time it was not only bigger but had sides though still keeping the front open not only for the sun and air but giving them the freedom to all emerge at the same time if they were ever attacked at night. They had assumed that the eastern shelter would still be in the same place but knew that after its destruction, they would do the same as them and move to another location as they had done twice now. It had just been luck that Toni had stumbled on them, she hadn't even known it until Smith had called out for her to halt. So, after this day, it was going to be a game of hide and seek, both sides looking for the others lair. The question now was, would the other group hunt as a pack of four or as two lots of two? Only time would tell on that score, but he would still stick by his rule for the time being that they always keep to a minimum of three. Even so, he wished he knew which strategy they would be using for if it was four men up against three women, they would have the upper hand. So he had to sit and think of just how could he make them split up into pairs. They stopped for a break and as they lolled about in front of their almost finished shelter, Toni opened her blouse bundle and pulled out the six cartons of cigarettes and put them in what she thought would be the driest part of the shelter. `What wouldn't I give for a cigarette now,' she said to Carlton. `Can't we make a fire or something?' she asked. `Without a lighter or matches, no. Now if one of you had been wearing glasses, well, we probably could make a fire but we are not going to. It would give away the site.' `Glasses. Glass!' Tiki cried. `The medicine box. It's got a bottle of eye wash and the box usually contains the little cup to hold the water.' She got up and went for the box. `Those things are usually made of plastic,' Carlton said as she looked through the box. `This has probably been on the plane for years. They used to be made of glass,' as she found the eye wash box and opened it and emptied out the bottle itself and the little container to hold it over one's eye. `See! Glass!' she said triumphantly. `No! We are not having a fire!' he said. `But you could hold it to the end of the cigarette,' Tiki argued. `Yes! Yes please Robert!' Toni cried. `Bob,' said Tiki. `You can call him Bob now.' `Bob? I don't understand,' Toni said. `He was Robert to all us girls until we made love to him, then he became Bob. Now as you made love to him last night,' she held up her hand as Toni began to interrupt, `I was lying next to you remember, so now that you've joined the club, you can call him Bob. And, I might as well tell you now that it's my turn next. There's still Smith until you want to call him James,' she finished with a smile. `I...I...' stuttered Toni. `Don't know what to say?' Pearl laughed. `Honey, don't say nuttin'. It's the best way. Just consider yourself now one of the family.' `Rob...er, Bob, could you at least try to light me up?' Toni asked which brought forth another gust of laughter from Pearl `I thought he did that last night,' she said and it made Toni blush, but he then picked up the eye wash glass and she quickly got a cigarette out of the packet and stuck the filtered end into her mouth. Her eyes smiled at him as he held her chin and slightly tilted it as he held the glass up to the sun until he had that fine concentrated beam centered on the tip. `Suck it in gently,' he said, which made Tiki almost choke with laughter and Toni herself found it difficult not to laugh as she did as she was told and a couple of seconds later, small wisps of smoke began to come from the end and the next moment, she had a lungful of her nicotine fix. He let go of her chin and took the glass away when the cigarette was alight. `You wonderful people,' Toni said as wisps of smoke came out of her mouth, her eyes closed with the pleasure of having her first cigarette for over twelve hours. Tiki was then sent off to relieve Stacey on watch and half an hour later, Tiki came back to report that she'd sighted James and Pearl coming up from the east. Carlton thanked her and told her that she now had to keep a very careful watch because anything could happen if Smith's raid had been successful. It was another fifteen minutes before the pair came to the camp site. They had stopped at the pool for a drink and now Pearl was bursting to tell them what they had done but she let Smith tell the story. `As you predicted, their camp was empty when we got there. It didn't take long to pull their shelter to pieces and scatter it around. Their melon jugs, most of them full of water we destroyed and trampled all the fruit we could find and scattered what nuts they had collected. There were two empty vodka bottles which, instead of smashing, we've buried them in case we have a need for them later. I also found these,' and he passed over three packs of cigarettes which Toni eagerly took from Smith and went and put them with the rest. `We were only there for half an hour,' Smith continued, `and didn't see hide nor hair of them. We made quite a clear trail going east as we left the camp until we came out of the tree line and I hope that they will believe that we are camped well over on the far side of the island.' `Well done the two of you. Now it's a matter of us waiting to see which way they will jump. I think we will be safe for a day or two though we'll still keep a watch on the pool,' Carlton said. `I'll take over the last shift at the pool.' So he had Judy check his scalp before he went for it would be dark when he would be back and refused to have the bandage on any more, insisting that the fresh air would help it heal quicker. He then went and found Tiki who said that she had found this watching, very boring. But necessary he had told her, giving her a kiss which turned in to a bit more than that. Thirty minutes later, she went back to their new site having promised to keep his dinner hot in the oven as it would be dark by the time he got home. It was two hours before sundown when he saw the four men come through the trees from the south. They were very wary as they approached the pool, all were armed, two with clubs at the ready and the other two had spears cut from some small tree. They took their time, circling the pool looking out for traps before one went forward with two melon skins and filled them up as they others kept moving their heads from side to side looking at the trees. Then another one came and took his place to fill the two he carried. With these four melons filled, they slowly retreated and Carlton could tell from their body language that they were being very cautious and had obviously found their own camp destroyed and were wondering where he and Smith and the girls might strike again. He gave them thirty minutes after they disappeared and he decided that they wouldn't be coming back up to the pool area for if they did, it would then be dark before they could make it back down to the beach. * `First the Virgin Mary and now the Harlot of Shallot!' King roared. `Like rats, but this fucking ship ain't sinking!' This rage was brought on when he went to look for Toni when she hadn't returned from what he thought might be the toilet. They'd eaten their evening meal and when it got dark, they settled down, then she said she wanted to go. After being gone fifteen minutes, King had kicked John out of the shelter to go and find out where she had got to. He too was gone for fifteen minutes but returned saying that he couldn't find her. King then went looking which resulted in his anger when he returned without her. `Tomorrow we go and look for them and if any of the other side get in our way, God help them.' * In the morning, he broke off two tree limbs and gave one each to Liam and John, telling them to go and get some water, and to be careful and on the lookout. They went off and King told Drew to find suitable tree limbs that could be made into stabbing or throwing spears as well as clubs. `Well? Did you see any of them?' King asked the two when they got back. `Not a sign,' said John as Liam put the water melons to one side in the shelter. He saw that two spears had been fashioned by King. `Can I have one of them?' he asked. `Yes,' was the terse reply. John picked one up and threw it out towards the sand. `Not bad,' he said as he went and retrieved it and when he returned, King was standing up with his spear and club. Drew had one spear and a club and Liam carried two clubs. `Let's go and find those sons of bitches and them too,' King snarled and led the way out to the sand and made his way to the ridge with the others following along behind. They climbed over and as Drew moved up alongside King, Liam and John paired and followed at a short distance. They went up into the trees and began their search. It took them thirty minutes to find the old site. They had seen the small clearing and had approached it carefully but seeing no sign of a shelter, moved out more boldly and even then it took them a few minutes to realise that this had been their shelter area. `The birds have flown,' he said, `and just as well. We'll make mincemeat of them when we catch them. Spread out a little but stay within visual contact. We'll go along to the end of the beach and then work our way back to the ridge.' The beach on the western side of the ridge was only about six hundred yards and though they were moving through the trees and bushes just up from the beach, it still took them half an hour before they began to return, moving another fifty yards up into the trees. `Not a bloody sign,' Drew muttered as they came abreast of the ridge. `Okay, let's get some food and water and later we'll look again up closer towards the pool,' King said, and so they returned to their shelter. `What the hell,' Liam said, being the first to walk into their camp area. Melon skins lay about, shattered and in many pieces. Their shelter wasn't any longer. Just broken poles and scattered palm leaves. He went over to where their food had been to find it all mashed to a pulp and not a nut to be seen. `You ain't gonna like this,' he said turning to King who just entered the clearing. `They've been here and trashed the place.' `The bastards!' he cried. `We're out looking for them and they have the gall to come and do this?' He flung his spear down in temper. `Judging by the look of the grass, they went off this way,' Drew said, pointing towards the east where they could see that some small bushes had been pushed down. `Some time ago I reckon,' John said after feeling the ground where a melon that had held water had been smashed. `The earth's almost dry.' `Well let's go after them,' King said picking up his spear. `They might have stopped somewhere. We'll get some melons and fresh water on the way back.' So they set off on the futile expedition to see if they could catch up to the destroyers of their shelter. It was late afternoon, tired, hungry and thirsty that they made their way up to the pool with fresh empty melon skins. It had been a frustrating day, seeking and not finding and only having a ruined shelter to go back to. They took care in approaching the pool and looking out for traps or an ambush before they actually began to fill the melon skins. When filled, were just as wary as they retreated back into the trees to go back and build some sort of shelter for the night. `Well no girl to fuck tonight,' Liam said, `where did you put the cigarettes John?' `They were in the shelter,' he replied and went and began to sift through the broken saplings and leaves. `They've gone!' `George, can we open another carton?' Liam asked King. He scowled but got up and went to where he had hidden them. `Shit!' he exclaimed. `They've gone too.' `Aw, bollocks!' John cried vehemently. `No vodka, no girl and now no fucking cigarettes! What's this place we've come to?' `We'll get them back. The cigarettes, the girls and maybe a couple of heads as well. That would be good,' King chuckled. `To have Carlton's and Smith's heads stuck up on poles. But first we've got to find them, so tomorrow, we'll take it in turns to watch the pool and see where they come from and we'll back track them from there. Now do something about giving us some sort of shelter,' he shouted at them. `The sun will be down soon!' At sunrise, Liam was sent up on the first watch over the pool with the admonishment that he was to stay in the trees and not be seen. *
