Today is the day of my 12th birthday and I am waiting for my guest.  I am
now about 4'11 3/4" tall have blonde hair and blue eyes my hair would later
in life would turn light brown.

Mom has found out since the last day of school that April is a hermophadite
and at first she was concerned but is even happier that she and I are close
friends.


Mom asks," So, John did you invite April to your party today?"

I said," Yes, and I can't wait to see her."

No sooner did I say that when there was a knock on the door and mom
answered the door.

April came running in the room and she was wearing a light white dress
since it was summer-time and matching shoes and her blonde hair was flying
behind her.

She grabbed me in a hug and said," Happy Birthday John!"

April's and my mom laughed and her mom said," April became a different girl
since John and his friends have become her friends."

Mom said," Yes, John really likes her.  So where is your husband?"

April's mom said," He had to make an emergency run right before we left and
go to retrieve a broken down car."

April's father was a tow truck operator and he can get called all times
during the day and night.

My dad walked in and shook Sheila's (April's mom) hand and gave April a big
hug.

Sheila said," Hello,Ross how are you today?"

Ross said," I am doing fine."

Sheila replied," We were just talking about how good of friends that April
and John are."

Ross said," Yes, John and April are pretty inseparable. "

No sooner than that was said when there was a knock on the door and Chris,
Randy and Mark came through the door and they came in and saying hi to
April and I.

Their parents came in saying hi to April's and my parents and all
commenting on how their sons loved being around April and I.  We played
games until it was time to for them to sing me a happy birthday and me to
blow out the candles.  I opened the presents and loved them all and we ate
ice cream and cake.


We played games until about 9 pm and I hugged April and said bye to Randy
Mark and Chris.


Sheila laughed and said," I can see those 2 being married and having kids."

Mom and dad asked," You think?"

Sheila said bye to my parents and we said bye.

Mom asked," So son what do you think about what Sheila said?"

I said," Mom she was just joking."

Mom said," You are right and it is still far off but she is a nice girl and
she really likes you."

We talked and laughed and I played some games and found myself getting
tired and I brushed my teeth and got in my pajamas and climbed into bed.
