When she gets engaged, she faces the challenge of how to tell her fiancι! I hope you enjoy this work of fiction. –––––––––––––––––––– As Bob drove Joanne back home she was overcome with joy! So much progress in just one day! She was delighted to finally have the understanding of her father, who couldn't have been more distant from her. In doing so he accepted Bob, and really seemed to respect him. Best of all, her dream man just asked her to be his bride. After years of helping other trans-woman plan their weddings, it was finally happening for her! Even though she was an experienced wedding planner, now that it was her wedding, she wasn't sure where to start! She decided to ask Becky for her help, once Joanne had helped Becky with all the details of her own wedding. Joanne was lost in thought when Bob brought the car to a stop. Joanne hadn't noticed him leave the freeway and pull into the shopping mall. "Why are we here?" asked Joanne. "There is the small matter of a ring," said Bob, "unless you think that's not important." She threw her arms around Bob and pulled him close, kissing him passionately. That was all that needed to be said on the matter. They got out and went to in and found a major jewelry store. It was nearly 7pm, but the store was open until 9:30. As they looked at rings Bob told her to take her time, since the store would be open for awhile. She looked at a number of styles of engagement rings and chose three that she liked. She showed Bob, and he liked them all. "Could we see the wedding bands that go with each of these?" he asked. The jeweler brought out the wedding bands that accompanied each of the engagement rings, and soon it was clear which was the best, and Joanne chose. Bob asked if she would like a larger stone, but Joanne insisted that the one currently in the ring looked just right. Bob asked about getting it sized to Joanne's finger quickly and they said they could have it tomorrow for no additional charge. Bob asked if there was any possibility to do it tonight. The jeweler paused and then excused himself. He came back and said, "The jeweler who does the resizing is about to go home, but for $25 I can have him stay over and do it right away. Bob agreed and paid for the ring, and it was taken away for resizing. Joanne burst into tears of joy and held Bob closely, sobbing on his shirt. "I don't think I'll ever understand this crying business," said Bob, "but at least they are happy tears." While they waited Bob called his mother and told her that he was bringing Joanne home for the weekend, but they had to stop at her place to pick up some clothes, so they would be late. After a short time the resized ring arrived and it fit perfectly on Joanne's finger. They left and Joanne kept holding her hand out in front of her, admiring her new ring. As it got dark, Bob asked, "Do you want me to turn the light on, so you can see it better?" Joanne laughed and responded, "ok, I get the point – I'll have the rest of my life to look at it." They arrived at Joanne's and they went in to collect some clothing for the weekend. "What about that special desert you promised?" Bob asked. "That will have to wait for later, but would you like a sample now?" she asked. "Sure!" replied Bob. Joanne reached under her skirt and slipped her panties off, handing them to Bob. Then she bent over the end of the couch and pulled the back of her skirt up, exposing her pretty buns. Then she spread her feet apart, opening up for Bob. Bob needed no further prompting, and quickly dropped to his knees behind her, spreading her cheeks and kissing her. Joanne was moved by Bob's attention and soon she was fully aroused. Bob had been fondling her clitty and now pulled back and turned Joanne around and took her into his mouth, lovingly nursing on her clitty. He sucked Joanne for a few minutes and then she pulled back and said, "Lets finish this later - it will be better that way." Bob stood up and kissed Joanne and said, "It may be a man's world, but women sure are in charge!" "As it should be," agreed Joanne, smiling as they departed for Bob's farm. In about an hour they arrived at Bob's farm, near Mt. Vernon, Iowa. It was past the normal bedtime of this farm family, but Mary had some of dinner staying warm for them in the oven. Bill was there with Becky, and along with Jim, all joined them at the table. Becky said, "The way you are waving your hand around Joanne, I think you have something to tell us!" Joanne blurted out their engagement and then went on to tell how proud she was of Bob, and how he convinced her father to have a see things differently. "So have you set a date yet?" asked Mary. "Not yet," replied Joanne, "but we need to get through Becky's wedding first, but I was hoping she could help me plan my wedding." "You are the expert!" said Becky. "But it's my wedding, and I'm not exactly thinking clearly about it," explained Joanne. Becky agreed to help and wanted to review the final plans for her wedding tomorrow. Jim reminded Bob and Bill that they had a date with the cows early tomorrow morning, so they had better get some sleep. We all went off to our separate rooms. Once the lights were out, Becky went to see Bill and Joanne went to see Bob. –––––––––––––––––––– To be continued ...
