Our normal life suddenly changed with a new addition! I hope you enjoy this work of fiction. –––––––––––––––––––– Kim and Brad had just had a sobering discussion about Brad's Tgirl magazines she discovered, and Kim gave Brad an assignment to learn about real-life transgendered women. "I'm not in the mood for kissing now," said Kim, "So please take me home, and you can begin your research when you get home." "Thank you for relieving me," said Brad, "And thank you for understanding – I really regret putting you through this." "I don't regret it," said Kim, "I've learned more about the real Brad." "It's a part of me I hoped would never be known," said Brad. "I'm glad I did," said Kim, leaning over to kiss Brad. When Kim got home she found Lotus and I on the couch, cuddling as usual, and wanted to tell us what happened with Brad. Lotus and I were as surprised as Kim had been and we told her that she had handled it well, including the assignment she gave Brad. "Are you thinking you want to tell him about you?" I asked. "If he shows me that he really understands girls like me," Kim said, "Then I want to tell him." "It's up to you," I said, "You know the risks, and I think you are looking at things realistically." "Aunt Lotus," asked Kim, "Do you think I should take the risk?" "You can't live your life hiding under a table," said Lotus, "You have to take risks, especially in love – you just need to be careful about it." "Brad has been very patient with me," Kim said, "and I want a fuller intimacy, like both of you have." We told her that we wanted her to have that, and hoped that Brad was the right one, and cautioned her that most people do not marry their first love, though it does happen occasionally. "May I have Brad talk with you, Uncle Bill?" she asked. I was surprised at this, but agreed, having no idea how it would go. The next day at school Kim and Brad talked, and Brad said that he had already learned a lot. Kim told him that she wanted to hear all that he had to say in a week, but not before. "Why so long?" asked Brad. "I want to give you enough time to research this thoroughly," said Kim, "That's important." Brad wasn't so sure how important it was, thinking that it was more about punishment. Kim rewarded Brad's effort with a blowjob in his car after work, but told him that it would have to hold wait until next week for more. The next week Kim scheduled a date with Brad with great hopes. Brad was really nervous, hoping that he would tell Kim what she wanted to hear. He explained about gender dysphoria, and girls being born into the body of a boy – about the harassment they often suffer and the high suicide rate. He told her about transitioning and about the various surgeries. When he was done, Kim asked, "How did you feel about doing this research?" "It was surprising and interesting," reported Brad, "But parts of it really made me squirm, like the surgeries." "So how do you feel about transgendered girls now?" Kim asked. "They still seem hot, but I now see them more as real people, not sex objects." Brad explained. "You have learned a lot," said Kim, "What would you do if you had a transgendered girlfriend?" "That's kind of far out," said Brad, "But I would care for her, treat her like a woman and protect her." "Protect her?" asked Kim "From anyone who tried to give her trouble," said Brad, "But most of all I would protect her secret." This was unfolding in a manner better than Kim could have hoped for, and she wrapped her arms around Brad's neck and kissed him. "You have learned a great deal, Brad," said Kim, "And I'm proud of you. Now I have to tell you something." "Go ahead," said Brad. "You do have a transgendered girlfriend!" said Kim. Brad looked at Kim in astonishment, and could find nothing to say initially. After a time he said, "But why didn't you tell me before this?" "You weren't ready for it, and I had to protect myself," said Kim, "In a week you have completely changed your understanding of transgendered people, and now ready to understand my life-long struggle." "I needed to make sure you didn't discover my secret before I knew I could depend upon you to protect it, so I had to lie to you about not having sex until marriage," she said, "Now that you know, we can go further than we have before." "I'd like that a lot," said Brad, "would you show me?" "Just one thing first," said Kim, "I want you to talk to my Uncle Bill." "What?" shot back Brad. "I've heard of asking a father for a daughter's hand in marriage, but not to ask permission to have sex – he'd probably kill me!" –––––––––––––––––––– To be continued ...
