I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I wish it really happened to me! –––––––––––––––––––– It was Friday and tonight was the night for us to see the Phantom of the Opera at the Ford Theater. Jessica had a 3pm appointment with her hairdresser. She would be getting her nails done just before that and I was driving her to around this afternoon. Part of me saw this as all quite a waste, but for a woman it can be extremely important to look her best, especially for a special occasion like this. I was deeply thankful for three things this day: 1) Getting ready for me was easy – I just had to shave, shower and put a suit on. 2) Jessica was going to look and feel her best – and I was the beneficiary of it all 3) Today I was truly going to be the proud companion of the most beautiful woman in the world! My wedding plans were coming together. My best friend from college was going to be my best man, and my brother and one of the engineers I work with will be groomsmen. We'll have to get tuxedos and make a few plans, but that won't come until later. I had determined that we could obtain international driver's permits for Jessica and myself through the AAA autoclub, and had started the process in motion. We had a lot of honeymoon planning to do. Now that we had a wedding date we could begin planning our itinerary, but we still had to decide where we wanted to go. So far we had decided upon London, Salisbury, and Stratford upon Avon. We were considering driving up to Scotland and perhaps seeing some of the Highland Games. Like the States, the U.K. was once covered in forest, but most had been long since cut down. There were a few national parks that offered a taste of the old wilderness. In our web searching we had found enough places to spend a couple of months, but we were trying to hold it down to two and half weeks, including air travel. The wedding planning had been pretty easy for me, because I didn't have a lot to do (and liked it that way). For Jessica it was quite a different story – it was the most important day of her life and she was determined to make it perfect. Fortunately her family was helping a lot. I smiled to myself, reflecting on how Jessica's family had changed their outlook toward her, welcoming her as if she had been born their daughter. It was after noon so we decided to have a brief lunch. We planned on a dinner at Santorini Estiatorio's, a really good Greek restaurant in Greektown, not far from the theater. That would be after the performance, so we would have a snack at our usual dinner time. We planned a light stir-fry. After lunch I took Jessica to get her nails done. She was very proficient at doing her own nails, but she insisted on having her nails done professionally today, and I was not going to refuse this very special lady. I took my laptop computer to a local coffee shop and worked online while Jessica had her nails done. She texted me to let me know she was finished, and I packed up and drove to pick her up. I knew the hairdresser was going to take several hours so I went to the library after dropping Jessica off. I got busy there and lost track of the time. I received another text from Jessica and hurried to pack up and leave. When I saw her I was spell-bound. Her hair made her look so amazingly elegant I just could not believe I had the good fortune to be with her! "If you don't stop staring, we'll never get to the theater," Jessica said. I took her into my arms and held her close, kissing her lovingly, careful not to touch her hair. I just couldn't comprehend how this beautiful woman could look even more beautiful – I thought she had already "maxed out" the beauty scale. On the way home I kept sneaking peaks at my lovely lady – something she noticed, causing her to smile broadly. "Why don't we get married right away," I said, "I don't really want to wait!" Jessica tapped my hand and said, "Listen mister – you are going to have to wait patiently – or don't you think I'm worth it?" "You are most definitely worth the wait," I responded, "but I want you now!" "Typical guy – always in a hurry," she said. We arrived home and I told the queen of my life to relax in the living room while I got our stir-fry ready. We enjoyed the light meal and then got ready for the evening. Soon I was ready, but we allowed plenty of time, since it can take a while to a girl to get her makeup "just right". I helped Jessica with her dress, gently zipping her up. I felt like I was in some sort of a dream – I was handling her so carefully, but really wanted to just grab her and take her to bed! She looked me over before we departed and said, "You clean up pretty good." I smiled and kissed Jessica on her cheek, not wanting to smear her lipstick. I had a reputation of "kissing off" her lipstick in a single kiss – but not tonight. On the way to the theater I continued to sneak glances at my elegant lady. We arrived and were seated. The theater was elegant as well – a fitting place for my lady to be seen. Throughout the performance I seemed to have one eye on the stage and one eye on Jessica. She seemed to be smiling the entire time, which further added to her beauty. At intermission we stretched our legs and looked around the theater. I paid a photographer to take some pictures of us – I wanted this evening to be long remembered. We both thoroughly enjoyed the Phantom – and each other's company. Afterward we drove to Santorini Estiatorio's and were seated. The waiter saw immediately that this was a special occasion and treated us like royalty – he knew how to earn a generous tip. After an excellent meal we returned home. I wanted Jessica so badly and realized that she wouldn't want to mess up her hair. I decided that I would make sure that she was well cared for in a very gentle manner, and hope that she would make it up to me another time. I gently broad Jessica to climax. She wrapped her hair to protect it while we slept. We drifted off to sleep in our usual spooning position – a couple totally in love! –––––––––––––––––––– To be continued ...
