I've gotten a lot of positive feedback, and some negative. I'm open to suggestions and feedback, but it is what it is. You can comment as you like at Jst4fun2nyt@gmail.com. The sex isn't a major part of it, nor is it going to be graphic. If you're looking for masturbation fodder, look elsewhere. There will be slow times in this story, just like there are in life. Other times, things will fly at you too fast. There will be boring days, and exciting days. It's just how it's flowing. I'm rushing these chapters out over the holiday weekend because I really want to get this character introduced. I'd love to hear your thoughts. Here is the house plan I used for inspiration for their new lake house. I've modified it to fit my dream, but this is what gave me the idea of the general layout. https://archivaldesigns.com/collections/castle-house-plans/products/balmoral-castle-house-plan DONATE to Nifty so you can continue to enjoy my story, and the thousands of others!!!! https://donate.nifty.org/ ********************************************************************************************* After dinner, those that lived elsewhere headed to their homes, and Frederick took some to the conference room to talk about his theory of magic. I decided it was time for a family relaxation day, so my mates and I grabbed our 4 youngest pups and headed towards the lake. Swimming in the pool was nice, but nothing relaxes you like swimming off a dock on a hot summer evening. Andy, Kailani, Lucas and LeAnn asked to join us, and after we teased them about not wanting private time on their mating day, we all ended up jumping off the dock. Charlie and Davie would take turns jumping off of the side of the dock, then swimming back to their Pop who would lift them up on the dock to do it again. Brandon and Andy were more interested in getting a running start and jumping off the end of the dock, seeing who could jump the farthest. Chipper and Kailani were happy just to enjoy the water, though Chipper did have his turns at the running jumps. Lucas came to me and whispered, and I nodded. I could smell them, I was waiting to see what they were going to do. Billy and I had slowly put ourselves between them and my family. They were laying in the trees, just watching. Then I heard their conversation. "They're naked Derrick." "They're just swimming." "Yeah, but they're all naked. Even the girls." "Maybe it's a nudist hotel. That's too big to be a house." "Can we go swim too Derrick? I'm all dirty." "Hush, they'll hear us." "They seem nice. Maybe they'll give us food." "Or maybe they'll call the cops, now hush." I relaxed because I knew there was no danger to my family, but I wanted to know why these two human boys were on our land. I sent Billy a message through the bond, then looked to Lucas and whispered for him to follow me. "I'm going to run up and get us some suntan lotion and food, you want to come with me Lucas?" "Sure Greg." We headed towards the house and as we got near the pool house, I turned and headed into the woods. Lucas followed, stepping lightly as we stalked around the small hill between the boys and us. When we were past where they lay hidden, we turned and slowly stalked up behind them. There were two boys laying in a bush with hiking packs laying on the ground about 10 feet behind them. The one looked to be about 15 and the other was smaller, I guessed he was 12 or 13. I assumed the older one was Derrick. I was standing by their packs, with Lucas behind me and off to my left, so they couldn't run when I spoke. "Would you two like to join us for a swim?" They both jumped and looked to their packs by my feet, then looked around for a way to escape. When they saw Lucas blocking the only other path, the older one yelled. "Don't hurt us mister, please?" "I wasn't planning on hurting you. I asked if you wanted to swim." "I wanna swim Derrick." "Hush Morgan." Then looking at me again "Honest mister, we didn't mean anything, we just heard the noise and wanted to see what was going on. Please just let us have our stuff and we'll go." "I can't do that Derrick." "Why not? And how'd you know my name?" "Because Morgan called you Derrick?" The younger one laughed "He's right Derrick. I did call you Derrick." "Just stop it Morgan. I'm trying to get us out of here." "But why? He seems nice. Can't we just go swim, then go?" "Because we can't, Ok?" Then he seemed to remember I was still standing there "Take our stuff, we'll just go, ok?" I picked up their packs and reached out, offering them to them. "No, you need this stuff. You also need food. How about you come swim with my family while Lucas there runs and gets some sandwiches and pop for you. Then we can talk. After we talk, you can go, if you still want to." Morgan reached for his pack but Derrick just looked at me "What's in it for you?" "Knowing that I didn't let you two starve, for one. My guess is you haven't eaten in over a day." "We got some burgers on Thursday. Wasn't it Thursday Derrick? It was at that truck stop, you remember. You went with that guy and he gave you some money, and we had burgers." "Please Morgan, just be quiet. Yes, it was Thursday." "I knew it, it was Thursday." Derrick looked at me with a mix of fear and shame. "Well, now you know. I'll do whatever you want, if we can have some food. Then we'll be on our way." "What I want, is for you to have some food. Will you come with us? Please?" I said softly, reaching out to him. "Sure, food first, payment after. But no one touches Morgan, got it?" He said this last part with hatred in his voice "No one is going to touch either of you without you saying it's ok Derrick. You have my word." I nodded towards Lucas and he headed to the house to get food and drinks, as I pointed towards the dock. Morgan smiled and started that way, but Derrick seemed to consider. With Lucas headed towards the house, his escape was no longer blocked, then he slowly picked up his pack and followed Morgan. As we approached the dock, Brandon came running up smiling "Hi, I'm Brandon. Can you swim with us?" Morgan looked to Derrick "Can we?" "Go ahead, where can he change?" "I don't gotta change, they're naked. I can be naked." He said, as he stripped his dirty clothing and left it in a pile. I almost cried when I saw his back, the scars from what had to have been a belt. "Now ya see why I protect him. His so-called father did that to him." "What about you Derrick? You're not his brother, did you run away together?" "Our dads are friends, from church. My dad took us camping back in June and we woke up one morning and he was gone." "Didn't you call the cops? Ask for help from the campground?" "I knew they didn't want us around. If we called the cops, we'd end up in foster care. Morgan would be abused, or ignored. He's not always easy to deal with." "So you're going to live on the road, doing things you don't want to do, to keep him fed?" "He's my best friend. He's like a brother. I'll do whatever I have to do to keep him safe." "He's safe right now Derrick. Can you relax, just for now, and go enjoy a swim? No offense dude, but you're ripe." "Wanting to view the goods? Is that it?" "I told you Derrick, all I want is to help. Yes, you're attractive, and yes, I'm gay. I'm also married to that guy with the babies. And that guy that just tossed Andy into the lake. And that pregnant girl. So I don't need to ask you to do something you don't want to, just to survive." He stared at me for a minute then said "We have that in our church, but not quite like that. So this is a compound? We thought it was a hotel." Lucas came up with a tray of hamburgers and hot dogs and several soft drinks, so I called to Morgan to come get a burger. He ran up the dock and just stared. "Can I have two?" "You can have as many as you want, but don't stuff yourself, you can have more anytime. Do you like cheese?" "Yes, cheese please." And he froze for a second "Did you hear that Derrick? I made a rhyme, cheese please." "Yeah Morgan, it's funny. Don't eat too much if you're going to keep swimming buddy, ok?" "I won't. I know, I'll get cramps and drown." "I would never let you drown Morgan. As long as I'm alive, you are safe. Do you believe that?" I said with a smile. "I do Mr. Greg. Brandon told me you're his dad. You're awful young to be his dad, but he wouldn't lie, so you gotta be his dad." "I adopted him Morgan, you know what that is, right?" "Yup. When your real parents are dead, or aren't no good, like mine were and... OH MY GOD I shouldn't have said that. I'm sorry Derrick, I'm sorry. It just slipped out." "It's ok buddy, it's ok. Just finish your burger, with cheese please." Derrick said, patting Morgan's back. "That's my joke Derrick, don't steal my joke." "Morgan, I need your help. Derrick just refuses to swim. What should I do?" "It's not nice to make someone do something they don't want to Mr. Greg." "You're right Morgan, I was just playing. Do you want to go back and play with the boys some more?" "Can I Derrick?" "Sure buddy. I'll come with you in a minute ok? I just want to talk to Mr. Greg a minute." Morgan smiled, then turned and ran down the dock, taking a flying leap off the end and doing a cannonball into the lake. Andy and Brandon were there and the three got into a wrestling match. "He hasn't been this happy in a year or more. He's gonna hate me when we go." "Will you let me try to help you?" "Sure, you want to give us cash and some food we can carry, we'll take it. Morgan was right, you're nice enough." "Stay tonight. We have plenty of room. Let me try to help you?" "I don't know, no one does something for nothing. But Morgan's happy right now. Can I think about it?" "You're not a prisoner. I asked you to come swim and eat. Morgan has done both, you've done one, but you both can pick up your things and walk away. Or I can give you a ride somewhere. But that wouldn't be helping you, or him, and deep down you know that." Derrick just looked towards Morgan then looked down, thinking. Then, he stripped his clothes and put them with Morgan's, and ran screaming down the dock and did a cannonball, splashing the other three boys and starting another wrestling match. I asked Lucas if he would mind asking Andrew to put on something to blend in and come down. He smiled, and ran off to the house. I had to look twice to be sure it was Andrew. He had on cut off jeans, a sleeveless shirt, and sneakers, with no socks. I couldn't help it, I laughed. He just glared at me. "If I didn't love you like I do, I would resent that laugh Greg. Am I to assume I'm here because of the human boys?" "I love you too Andrew, and yes. I don't know what to do, so I'm going with my feelings and trying to get them to stay, at least tonight. Would you pass the word? They seem fine with the nudity here, but in the house ask everyone to wear sweat pants or something? And I doubt they'll raid the refrigerator, but have Amie move the blood?" "Of course. And, in the future, just have someone get me the message that we have human visitors. I'll take care of it." "Thanks. Oh, do you have your phone with you? I'm short on pockets right now." Andrew smiled, and pulled his phone from his back pocket. "Dial Mike for me? I don't want to have to dig through your phone." He dialed, and as he handed me the phone "The phones are all yours Greg, I have nothing to hide." I rolled my eyes and took the phone "Mike? I need to know my options." And I told him what I knew. He said he'd look into it, but things weren't as easy since the boys were human. I understood that, but I just knew I needed to help these boys, I just didn't know why. I mean, the obvious, they need help, I can do it, so I should, but why these boys? Brandon came running to me "Dad? Can Morgan stay tonight?" "That's up to him and his friend buddy. Did you ask them?" "He wants to, but he says Derrick doesn't trust people." "Then you should talk to Derrick, huh?" Just then we heard Morgan "But they're nice, and they want us to stay!" "I know they seem nice, but you don't always know." "I know this time." "Listen Morgan, we're leaving. We can have some fun, but when they go back to that hotel or whatever, we're leaving." "I'm staying! Brandon wants me to stay, and I want to stay with Brandon!" "Stop it Morgan." "Don't tell me what to do! I'm not a baby. I know I'm not good with people like you are, but I'm not stupid and I'm not a baby!" Derrick tried to hug him to calm him down, but Morgan was too upset and tried to pull away. When he did, he accidentally smacked his friend in the nose, causing it to bleed. "Oh my god, Derrick. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." He said, running from the water and sitting on the edge of the dock, sobbing. Derrick followed and knelt by his side. "It's ok buddy, it was an accident. It's just a nose bleed. I shouldn't have tried to tell you what to do. It's my fault you got upset, ok?" "But I hurt you." "I'm fine. And I'm not mad at you. Are you still mad at me?" "Are you gonna let me stay?" "We can stay tonight. Then, well, I don't know. But we'll stay tonight, how's that?" Morgan looked up with a smile "Ok. I'm still sorry I made your nose bleed." "I know you are buddy, friends sometimes hurt each other, but they are always friends, right?" Morgan nodded. "Can I have another burger?" "Sure, let's both get one." And he helped Morgan to his feet and brought him over for another burger. "Want some more cheese please Morgan?" I asked, grinning at him. "HEY! That's my joke Mr. Greg." He said with a smile. "I thought it was a good joke, so I stole it. But I won't, if you don't want me to?" He thought for a minute "Nah, you're nice, you can steal my joke. Derrick says we can stay tonight." "I heard. That will make Brandon very happy. Do you like video games?" "Oh yeah. But I was never allowed to..." His face froze. "It's fine Morgan. When we go to the house, Brandon can show you the game system, and you can play as much as you want." "House? That's a house? What do your parents do that they can have a house like that?" Said Derrick, staring at the house in shock. "My Dad had a lot of businesses. But it's going to be dark soon, we should head up. Scott? Do you need help with the pu... boys?" Damnit, I never slip up like that. "We'll be fine Greg. Why don't you see if you can find some things to fit them? Derrick is about Billy's size, and if Lucas doesn't mind sharing?" "No problem Scott. I should have something for Morgan." Lucas answered. "If you boys will grab your packs and clothes? If you'll let me, I'll have someone wash all your stuff. Is there anything in them you'd like to hide first?" "What do you mean Greg?" "I mean, living like you've had to, I would expect you to have a knife or some other weapon. And I thought you'd like to keep it away from us so we don't steal it." Derrick looked at me, then looked down "I've got a gun I found. If I give it to you, you'll give it back when we leave?" "No, I'm not taking it. Just tell Chipper and Kailani where it is, so they won't bother it." "What about Brandon?" "Oh I carry a Hellcat." Brandon said casually. Derrick stopped walking and stared at him. "Dude, you're 10?" Brandon looked at me for a second, then said "Eleven, but everyone here knows guns. Uncle Tommy taught me gun safety, and my brother Josh was on the shooting team when he was in college." Derrick looked from Brandon to me, then around at my family, coming up behind us. I could see he was thinking, and I didn't know what I would say if he asked the wrong questions. He just started walking again, then asked Brandon "So I don't know what this gun is. Maybe you would know?" "We can ask Uncle Tommy. If he doesn't know, Clint or Ted probably will." Derrick just nodded his head and kept watching, but I saw him give me a glance as we walked across the pool patio. When we walked into the basement family room, his mouth dropped open as he looked around at the pool table, air hockey table, and foosball table. Then he saw the two big sectional sofas and the 75" TV above the fireplace. "I thought that was the TV?" he said, pointing at the 55" screen. Then he saw the second one. "Wait, two TV's there, and that bigger one there...?" "Those two are for gaming, the TV is for watching." Brandon said, like everyone had the same setup in their home. "Do you guys have GTA 5? Or Rocket League?" "We've got both Morgan, wanna play? Chipper loves Rocket League" Brandon said, heading to grab the controllers. "Shouldn't we get dressed?" "We don't wear clothes much at home, no one does." My son said, making my talk with Andrew a waste of time. "Oh cool. I like it here Derrick! Can I stay here and play?" "He'll be fine with Brandon. Chipper will join them, I'm sure. Lucas might too." "He'll probably want to go to bed with LeAnn, Dad." "Brandon!" "Sorry Father. I just feel... I know, I'll be more careful." Again, Derrick was just taking all of this in, listening, observing. "And what about you Derrick? Are you comfortable naked in a house full of strangers? Or should I take you to see what we can find in our closet?" "I'd like something, if you don't mind?" "Then follow me. Brandon, Morgan is your responsibility, treat him as a guest." I headed upstairs and to our room. Scott was right, and I offered Derrick a pair of Billy's boxer briefs and some sweat pants. He pulled the sweat pants on and left the underwear. I reached for a shirt and he said "Am I going to be the only one dressed?" "No, I sent word that we had guests, so everyone should be wearing something." "Thanks" he said as he put the shirt on. I pulled on a pair of basketball shorts and a tee shirt. "Would you like to watch some TV? Take a hot shower? Eat some more? Have someone identify your gun? How can I make you comfortable for tonight?" He looked at me for a few minutes "You really aren't going to ask me to..." "I'm not, and no one here would dare." He took a deep breath and let it out slowly, then another, then "You said you want to help us, can we talk?" "Where would you feel most comfortable? I think the upper family room is full right now, and the boys are gaming in the lower. My office is comfortable but it can also be stuffy." "Your office huh? There's a lot you're not saying." And he paused, expecting me to answer his unasked questions, but I'm not going to do that, so we just looked at each other. "Ok, your office it is." As we passed the kitchen, I saw Amie making some milkshakes. "Amie, would you make one for me please? Chocolate? Derrick?" "Um, anything's fine ma'am." "I have Chocolate, Strawberry, Vanilla, and Butterscotch. Which do you prefer?" "Butterscotch please?" "You'll be in your office Sir?" "We will, thank you Amie." And we headed to the office. Derrick was again, silent, observing. As we entered the office he looked around. "I can see why you said this could be stuffy. I think I would have called it `imposing'." "Well, yes, but it has some nice features too. Let's sit here, by the windows. With the lights off you can see the deer in the fields when the moon is high enough. And the view of the lake is awesome." Amie brought the milkshakes and smiled at me as she said "Anything else Greg?" "Thanks Amie, no. I'll see you at breakfast." And when we were alone I turned to Derrick "So, you wanted to talk, but first, I want you to know that you don't have to tell me any more than you want to. I want to help, if I can, and you'll have to trust me, but I won't push and I won't ask, and more importantly, I won't judge you." He looked around, then looked at me for a while, then he stared out over the lake as night was falling. "You saw Morgan's back. His dad did that too him. Not all at once, but, well you saw how he can get sometimes, and when he would do that, his dad would beat him. Church says `spare the rod, spoil the child' and `respect your elders' and `honor your father and mother' and all that stuff. Anyway, back in April, Morgan had an episode and he lost it and hit his mom. His dad went nuts and said that Satan was possessing him and he had to go." "I talked my parents into letting him stay with us on the ranch. He's good with animals, and he's a hard worker, when he can focus. So Morgan is staying in my brother's room since he's away on mission, and everything's fine until my buddy came over after school and was helping us out. We've been friends a long time and, well, you're gay so it won't shock you. Me and him had been messing around since puberty, nothing intense, just some fun, ya know? Anyway, Morgan wasn't involved, he doesn't like that stuff, but he's carrying hay and me at Jed are in a stall, um... messing around? So my dad caught us. He didn't freak out or nothing, just said that Jed should be going home." "Dinner was quiet. I mean like no one spoke, at all. Except Morgan, he can't read people, so he didn't know anything was wrong and he's talking about the horses and what each one was doing today and no one's answering him, but he just kept talking. After dinner I was waiting while he was showering and I heard Dad talking to Mom, saying how Morgan's dad was right and he had brought Satan into our home, and he had to do the right thing. Dad didn't ever beat us, I mean, we got spanked, but nothing we didn't deserve, and it wasn't like Morgan got, but I got worried that he might, so I told Morgan to stay in my room." "I guess that just added to things, and finally Dad talked about taking us out east, for a week of camping and fishing. Help us `grow into good men to serve in the church' he said. So we got all the gear packed, and he even bought new packs, sleeping bags and a two-man tent for us. Said we could rough it and he'd sleep in the back of the truck on a mattress, in comfort. You know the rest. We were at the campground two nights and the first night, I woke up when the truck started and pulled out, but he came back an hour later and we had groceries the next morning, so when he drove away again the next night, I didn't think anything about it." "I wasn't sure what time he left, so when we woke up and he wasn't back, I told Morgan we could just make breakfast. When he still wasn't back, I left a note and we went fishing. We got back around lunch and I started to wonder, but maybe the truck broke down, ya know? So I tried to call and my phone didn't work. That's when it hit me. So I cooked all the cold food and put it in zip bags so it would keep longer, and we stayed another night. I guessed they wouldn't notice us being alone a night or two but like I told you, if the state got involved they'd put him in some special home and I'd never see him again." "We've been on our own for 8 weeks I think? The food lasted us a week, but finally we started camping behind a truck stop and I'd... I could make some quick cash and it kept us fed, but we couldn't stay there any longer. The manager of the McDonald's there started asking questions, so I stocked up on food and we headed out. I saw the lake and thought we might catch some fish so we cut across those woods, then we heard you guys. That's the story Greg. Now what?" "How old are you Derrick? And Morgan?" "I'll be 16 in October. Morgan turns 14 in September." "Do you think your dad might have had an accident? Or changed his mind and gone back after you were gone?" "Part of me wants to think that, I mean he's my Dad, how could he... how... I'm his son for Christ's sake!" and he fell apart. I reached out and put my arms around him and held him as his crying turned into body wracking sobs. I held him as he asked me how a father could abandon his son. Held him as he begged me to tell him why. And I held him as he regained control. I was still holding him and was wondering if he had fallen asleep because he was just leaning on me, breathing steadily. Then he said "What now?" He sat up and looked at me so I answered "What do you mean?" "You said you'd help us, so what now?" "I guess that depends on you and Morgan. What do you want me to do?" "Can I be honest?" "I think it's always the best thing, yes." "Something's going on here. I asked about your dad and you said he `had' a lot of businesses, Amie called you Sir but she's older than you, you have two husbands, a wife, and four sons. No, five. Brandon has a brother that's in college? Your house is bigger than most hotels, I see a helicopter sitting there and before dark, it looks like you're building an airport. It's none of my business, and I'll accept whatever you tell me, but something strange is going on here. Are you like, the `Godfather'? Or smugglers? Anyway, it doesn't matter. My gut told me to trust you, so I told you our story. Now my gut is saying to ask you to help us. Accept us." I heard them coming down the hall, so I waited until Brandon and Morgan came in "Daddy, can Morgan sleep with me?" "Is that what you want Morgan? Or is he pushing you?" "I want to Mr. Greg, please?" "Only if you do one thing for me." "What's that?" "Just call me Greg ok? I understand you were taught respect, and I appreciate it, but I'm just Greg." "I can do that, thanks `just Greg'." He said and ran off laughing, with my son chasing him. "That's another thing `just Greg'" Derrick said with a grin "He's connected to Brandon right off. Usually it takes a week before he would speak to another kid. And he's making jokes at you? Are you magicians or something?" "You've found me out." I said with a smile "But seriously, I will do anything I can Derrick, but you need to know that it's complicated. I have no idea what we can do but I've called my lawyer and he's looking into things. But you need to know there are a lot of things that I can't discuss with you." "Kinda like the government? You can tell me but then you'd have to kill me stuff?" He said with a laugh. I laughed back "Exactly, and I really don't want to have to kill you." He smiled, but his face told me he knew there might be some truth to that. "Look, tomorrow is Sunday and we're not going to be able to figure anything out until Monday. You are welcome here until then, and after that we can figure it out. I will find a home for you and feed you. I will promise you that much, no matter what, ok? For now, let's find you a bed and a shower?" "I'd like that, yes." "Don't read into this, just take it as it's said. Do you want to sleep alone? Go cuddle up with Morgan and Brandon? Join my m... join us in our bed?" "Tonight's the first time I let go and cried about it. You held me and let me do that. Your mates won't be jealous if I sleep with you?" "No they won't... mind." He said mates. Did I slip up before and use it? Is he figuring us out? I got up and led him to our shower and when he commented that it was big enough for six, I told him we had six in it before, and there was room to spare. I pointed out the towels and showed him how the shower worked, then turned to go. "Greg? There is room in there for you." "I know there is Derrick, but if I get in there are you going to feel like you have to pay me for taking care of you?" "If it was two hours ago, yes, probably. But now, I'd like to show my thanks by washing you. Nothing sexual, just appreciation." "Only if I can do the same. I think you need to feel loved, just for you. If we can do that, I'll join you." So I got in the shower with him and we both gently washed each other. Neither of us avoided any body parts, but we didn't focus on them either. Then we got out and dried and found my mates already cuddled up in bed. They sensed me coming, even in their sleep, and made a space for me and my new friend. He was smiling as he fell asleep with our eight arms wrapped around him.
