This story started out of boredom, and has now taken on a life of its own.

I've gotten a lot of positive feedback, and some negative. I'm open to suggestions and feedback.

The sex isn't a major part of it, nor is it graphic. If you're looking for masturbation fodder, look elsewhere. There will be many slow times in this story, just like there are in life. Other times, things will fly at you too fast. There will be boring days, and exciting days. It's just how it's flowing.

Here is the house plan I used for inspiration for their new lake house. I've modified it to fit my dream, but this is what gave me the idea of the general layout.

Using the bond, I found Billy, so I went back to the school and sat with him as Liz explained autism to Morgan's classmates. We both held our breath as Morgan stood and walked to her side then turned to face the room full of kids. He hadn't noticed us until then, but he smiled and waved, then said.

"My name is Morgan, and I'm autistic. It doesn't mean I'm stupid, but sometimes it seems like I am. My brain works different than yours and sometimes my brain gets all jumbled cause there's too much and I can't handle it. Sometimes I shut down and don't talk but sometimes I get angry and yell and throw things."

"My Aunt Liz is gonna be here with me and teach me things to help with the shutting down and getting angry. If it happens, please don't yell at me because it just makes it worse. I wanna learn and I want friends, but it's hard for me cause sometimes I say things I shouldn't."

Liz smiled as she said "Thank you Morgan. I think it was very brave of you to come up here and tell everyone something so personal. Is there anything else we can do to help you not shut down?"

"I don't like being touched so please don't touch me, unless I say it's ok. And I like my things a special way, so don't move my things, please?"

The teacher spoke up with "I think those are two rules that should apply to everyone, don't you class? Hugs are nice, when you want one, but we respect each other by asking first. And it's never nice to touch someone else's things without permission. Can the other pups ask you some questions? Or would you rather not?"

Morgan nodded, so Liz pointed to a boy in the front row that had his hand up "Do you want someone to help with your homework? Cause I'll help, if I can."

Morgan had been slowly shutting down. He hadn't stopped talking, but his eyes had gone from looking at the other kids at the beginning, to looking at his feet as he had asked them not to touch his things. When this boy offered to help, Morgan's head snapped up and he was smiling from ear to ear as he said "I'd like that."

A girl in the middle of the rows said "If someone says something mean to you, will you promise to tell us? So we can tell them that it's not ok?"

Morgan was fighting tears as he said "I promise."

A little boy sitting right in front of where I was standing said "I live next to a girl who has autism and she is really fussy about her food. Are you like that too?"

"I'm not as picky about what I eat as some kids are, but I hate my foods to mix on my plate. Oh, and I'll only drink sheep blood if my papa's around."

I heard several kids saying `yuk' and `eww' and similar things, while the boy sitting near us mumbled `what's wrong with sheep blood?'. I couldn't resist it and gave Billy a shoulder bump. He pushed me and we were laughing when the pups realized we were back there. They all froze and I heard a murmur of `Alpha'.

I just smiled "Yup, that's me, and I want you all to know how proud I am of my son Morgan for facing his fears and speaking to you about his being unique. I'm also proud of all of you for offering him friendship and acceptance."

Morgan ran through the class and wrapped Billy and me in a hug. "Are you really proud of me Dad?"

As I kissed his forehead, "I'm so proud of you baby boy you have no idea."

The teacher started his lesson, and Billy and I headed up to look at the progress on the offices. We met Craig on the top floor and he took us straight to my corner office. When we walked in, I was stunned. I was looking at my desk from home.

"Did you grab this after we left this morning?"

Craig laughed "It's a copy. Johnny had it custom made last month."

"Last month? How?" then I turned to Billy.

He shrugged his shoulders "Even if you never use this office, everyone else needs one. The few times you do use it, you need to feel at home. This was going to happen, I just didn't know when."

"Am I ever going to surprise you?

"Maybe, but I'll see it coming. Should I tell you want you want next?"

I thought for a second, then asked "When will he be here?"

Craig was confused "He who?"

Johnny walked in the door "Billy said you wanted to see me?"

"When did he tell you that?"

"He called me this morning. Told me to be here at 2."

I just shook my head. "I need to quit trying to understand it. I'd like you two to show us around. Catch me up on progress, problems, and forecasts please?"

Johnny nodded towards Craig, indicating he should start. "As you can see, we're ahead of even our best hopes. I have mostly vampire contractors working with us. The actual construction is done, we have a few rooms left that we're painting tomorrow and Wednesday. Even the helipad will be available for daylight use on Monday. The final issues on it won't affect our private use, but only our use, no guests until Wednesday."

"What won't be finished?"

"The state requires a safety net around the perimeter. We didn't expect to be ready yet, so they're being shipped." Johnny added.

"Fair enough. And the offices? What still needs done?" I asked, as I looked around.

"Furniture and equipment are coming Friday. All the main offices are ready now, and the rest can be used starting Monday. So no assistants, no supplies, just bare bones." Johnny said.

"Are either of you settled in your offices yet?"

"Mike gave us the large conference room when we needed to move out of the construction area. We'll settle in on Monday." Craig said.

"Anything else?"

"Promise to use your new office more than once a month?" Johnny said.

"I have to be at the house for the pack, and my pups."

"Greg, Johnny's right. Even with Josh and Todd handling things with the business, you need to be here. Scott and Bea will be at the house with Charlie and Davie, but Lisa would be happy to have them in the Pre-K. All your other pups are downstairs right now. Everything you do for the pack can be done from here. Give us another excuse."

I looked at Billy, shocked, and a little hurt. I wasn't making excuses, I just wanted to be at home, with my family. I didn't ask for any of this. All I wanted was to be with Scott, Billy, and Bea. They all pushed through the bond, sending me the same basic message.

`You are with us, even when you are away.' I saw on Billy's face that he had heard our mates.

"Did you plan this too?"

Billy always acted as my Beta, and assistant, when we were in public so I was surprised when he put his arms around me and looked up into my eyes "I am your Beta, and your mate. I struggle when those roles conflict. As your Beta, it's my job to do as you say, without question. As your mate, it's my job to love you and push you to be the best you can be."

"The night we met I told you to always speak your mind. You always have so I don't understand why you felt you couldn't about this?"

"I didn't want you to think I was pushing you away from Scott or the pups. I hoped you would realize that even with Josh and Todd, your businesses still need you around."

I pulled Billy tight and kissed him. "Your roles don't conflict. If you ever feel like there's a conflict again, you will tell me. Explain to me why you think I need to be here."

"You told Todd and Josh to do whatever they wanted. They still need you around, if only to reassure them of that freedom. The pack needs you accessible. If you're at the house, only those of us that live there have easy access. If you're here a day or two a week, pack members can come to you."

I looked at Johnny and Craig, who were both nodding their agreement. I reached out to Scott and Bea through the bond and they both said I needed to be here.

"Ok, I'll use this office more than I planned. No promises on how much, but I'll be here. Let's go see if Mike has a minute, you've given me an idea." I said, as I turned towards the elevator.

Craig headed to the roof to check on the helipad while Johnny went down with us and headed to the large conference room as we headed to Mike's office. His door was open and he was on the phone, but he waved us in as he finished his call. "Three times in one day, I'm feeling special."

"My office upstairs will be ready on Monday. How many local vampires have asked to speak to me directly?"

"I've had over a thousand ask, Greg. Most were just wanting to officially join the pack, so when you gave me the authority to do it for you, that took care of most of them. Another hundred or so were asking if they needed permission to have pups. I didn't bother you with those, and told them they could. Several asking for permission to mate bond."

"Please tell me you're kidding? They are looking to me for these private issues?"

"I've told you before Greg, they are hungry for leadership. You've given that to them and they're responding."

"I'm hoping you told them they could?"

"I did, but a few are hesitant to do it. Same with having pups. I also have about a dozen that want to move into the area, two couples that want to move away, and three that want to refresh their lives."

"Is this why you think I need to be here Billy?" and he nodded. "Get the word out Mike, I'll be here all next week. Ask them to call and schedule so we don't have a crowd that draws attention. Hopefully things will slow down some. I'll be here until 4, but check with Billy before setting anyone after lunch. 9 to noon for pack issues, 1 to 4 for business. If we have to, we'll set up a Saturday or an evening or two for the pack."

"I'll tell Craig to expect the Bell daily starting Monday. We can bring the pups when the new one comes, there will be room," Billy said, laughing as he added "unless you keep adding pups."

"Watch it, I'll go find another dozen and put you on babysitting duty." I teased.

Billy and Mike were still laughing when Derrick knocked "Uncle Mike? I'm done with these, is there anything else you want me to read?"

"You're done? I only gave those to you an hour ago."

"The one is only 21 pages, the other is 53. Sorry I took so long, I had to use your computer to google some of the terms. I hope that was ok?"

Mike smiled "It was fine Derrick. Sorry I didn't tell you that. I left it logged in so you could use. So, if you've read both of them, tell me what you think."

"The real estate purchase agreement seems fine, unless you want to remodel. There's a clause that mentions city restrictions on street access, so if you remodel and want to move the entrances, you can't without a fight with the city. The franchise agreement has a paragraph limiting you to the geographic area listed in the contract. I overheard Josh the other night saying he wanted to use this to open one here. If that's the main reason for buying this place, it won't work."

I was watching Mike while Derrick was saying all of this. He was nodding and smiling, so I asked. "Did he miss anything?"

Mike held up his hand "Hold on Greg, I think there's more. Derrick?"

"Well, I did some research and the property, without the franchise, is overpriced by about 10%. I'm guessing that, as a package, that's standard, but they're selling for a reason. So I wondered, what's the reason? Do they have other dealerships and this one is not making a profit? Or do they plan to sell them all, but slowly, one at a time?"

Mike nodded and said "The overpriced property is typical, if you get real estate with the franchise included. Explain what you mean by that last part."

"Say they have 10 dealerships and the owners are just wanting to retire. If they sell all 10 as a package, not as many buyers could afford it and most would expect a discounted price because they might not want specific brands, or they might not qualify for all of the franchises. Selling off the high end dealerships individually gets more money for each one. Then they can package the lower end brands, or sell them to local groups individually."

Mike laughed and looked at me "He's dead on, Greg. He just told you everything I would have said. I know some things he doesn't know, but he read between the lines and he's right. In fact, somehow, he even hit on why they're selling. The owner's only son just died childless and they're both in their 60's and are already retired. With no heir, they're selling everything rather than having to return to working or find an overall manager. They own 47 dealerships from Gary, Indiana to Milwaukee, Wisconsin."

"Get Josh on the phone Billy." I said. It was a waste of breath.

"I've been listening since Derrick started Dad, I didn't want to spend that much of your money in my first week. The geographic restriction is part of their standard contract and when Mike pointed it out to me, I called Rolls and got a verbal agreement. They'll sign one for Pittsburgh the day we sign that one."

"Ok Josh, I understand your caution, but I meant it when I said do anything you want. What do you want?"

"I want to buy them all. I will make some changes, but I want them all. I also want a Rolls-Royce in New York, but none of them are for sale right now. I want to try to get Rolls to let us lock up the rights. It will encourage one of the dealers to sell at a fair price now, rather than risk a lower price later."

"And the issue with the city?"

"The building is only 2 years old so the entrances are in ideal locations for the design. When we finally remodel in 15 years or so, we'll be negotiating everything. We'll have paid enough in taxes by then, they'll work with us to keep us there. The easiest thing is to offer to repave the street. To a lawyer, it looks like an issue, but it's not."

"How bad do you want these 47, and how bad do you want a Rolls in New York?"

"I'd like to get both Manhattan and Jericho in New York, that would get us all the exotics in the area, for now. It might encourage Greenwich, or Paul Miller in New Jersey to sell also. The Chicago Rolls was mainly to get Rolls for Pittsburgh, but if we can buy all 47 as a package, I'd want to do it."

"Is this ego? Or can we make money?"

"I won't do something I can't make money with Dad."

"Call Manhattan and Jericho, offer them cash, 10% above what you think they're worth. The offer expires Wednesday at 5pm. Call me if they counter. Call Chicago and ask for a price."

"You're talking about spending easily a billion Dad, are you sure?"

"Are you? Karl Kraus said `A weak man has doubts before a decision, a strong man has them afterwards'. You're a strong man son."

"I'll make the calls and call you back."

When Josh disconnected, Mike looked at Derrick "Anything to add?"

"As smart as Joshua is, he'll offer them 5% over what they're worth, they'll counter at 10% and he'll buy at 7 or 8 over. That will save several million."

"What am I going to do with you Derrick?"

"What do you mean Dad?"

"You seem to have a natural legal mind, but your business instincts are just as good. I don't know what to have you do for me."

"Give me a few years of school first?" Derrick said with a laugh.

I turned to Mike and asked "You done with him Mike? Or did you want to go through that other stuff with him?"

"I'd like to hear what he says. David and Kalyn will be here soon and we'll be at the house shortly after you."

I checked the time and we stopped by the school so Chipper, Brandon and Morgan could ride home with us. We spent the first half of the trip listening to Morgan going on and on about his day. When he ran out of things to tell us about, Chipper felt he needed to tell us a bit about his day too. I was loving this private time with the boys but when I turned to Brandon to hear his story, he was quiet.

"What's wrong buddy? Bad day at school?"

"No Dad, my day was great, but Morgan asked me something and now I'm confused."

I turned to Morgan who was looking at me worried "I'm sorry Dad. You said we'd talk about it later but I forgot and asked him."

I knew what he was talking about "It's ok buddy. It's later now, so we can talk now. What do you think the answer is Brandon?"

"I don't know Dad. The way the traditions talk, I'm his dad. But he's older than me and I don't know how to be a dad."

"Ignore the traditions, this is my pack and we do what I say. What do you think the right answer is?"

"Morgan calls you `Dad'. I saw him as my brother before he was changed, and if you didn't have your accident, you would have changed him eventually. He's your son, not mine."

I turned and asked "Morgan, that's how you see it too, right?"

"Yeah."

"Then that's how it is. Morgan is my son, just like Joshua, Brandon, Chipper, Charlie, Davie, and Derrick. And Tanya is my daughter."

Billy laughed "Greg, you do realize that when Bea has the pup, we'll have nine?"

I was laughing too, until we both got a message through the bond `ten'. Billy and I looked at each other confused until Bea explained `Mary thought it might be twins so we went and got an ultrasound'. It took two seconds for Scott to get involved `Twins? Really?'.

"I can't wait to see my sisters." Morgan said to Brandon.

Now we all were looking at Morgan with our mouths open. "Morgan, can you hear when me and Papa or Pop or Mom use the bond?"

"What's the bond Dad?" he asked, looking confused.

"I'll explain that later, how did you know there's more than one? And how do you know they're girls?"

Morgan shrugged his shoulders as he said "I don't know how, I just know. They're SO cute too! Millie's cranky but Val is always sweet."

"Did he just name our daughters Greg?"

"Sounds like he did Billy. Do you like them?"

"My mom was Valerie. I was going to suggest it for a girl's name."

Immediately Scott and Bea both sent `Yes!'. Then Bea asked `Millie?' and Scott sent `Short for Camilla?' I was already too stunned by everything else for this to be a shock to me. I replied `My mother's name was Camilla.'. Every one of my mates replied `Then Valerie and Camilla it is.'.

Brandon was looking at us with a grin. "So, is Morgan right? Is it really Val and Millie?"

We were pulling through the gate as Billy laughed and nodded "I guess it is. I hope Grandma's ok with it."

I turned to Morgan "Now that you're doing Billy's trick, what am I going to say?"

"I haven't felt my beast Dad, but yes, I'd love to learn to hunt after dinner."

"We can try, but if you're not feeling your beast, we might not be able to bring him out yet."

"Can we try Dad? Please?"

Tommy stopped in front of the house and we all headed inside. Chipper and Brandon headed to the upstairs study to do their homework while Billy and I took Morgan to my office. Scott and Bea were there waiting for us, and we all had smiles on our faces as we hugged Bea and celebrated the news. I asked Scott to send Brandon to join us when he and Bea headed to get Charlie and Davie. Then I sat to talk with Morgan.

"You said you haven't felt your beast. Not at all? Not even when you masturbate?"

Morgan blushed and said "I haven't done that since I changed Dad. I don't like the mess so I don't do that much."

I smiled and asked "You knew that pain would bring out my beast, you saw how Josh brought Brandon's out. There are other ways."

"I saw how Josh brought Brandon's beast out. Do I have to do that?"

"Everyone is different, there are other ways."

Morgan nodded. "Pain like when I pulled you off the stake?"

"I hope it wouldn't take that much pain, but yes, like that."

Brandon walked in and said "Don't hurt him Dad, he was hurt by his other dad enough."

"It will be my last resort son, I know what happened to him. I wonder about fear."

Morgan shook his head. "I know I'm safe if you're with me Dad, I won't be scared. You could do like you did with Brandon."

"I don't know if that will work buddy. As much as you hate the mess, it might keep your beast held back."

"There wasn't a mess with Brandon Dad."

"You want me to ask Joshua to..."

"No Dad, I want you to do that to me."

"Morgan, I don't know if I can do that. I know it's ok with vampires but I grew up human. I don't know if I can touch you like that, at least not until you're older."

Billy said "Greg, he's almost 14. The first time you and Scott took me to your bed I was six."

"That's different and you know it. You age differently."

"Which means I'm basically the same age as he is. So you can't use age as an excuse."

There it was again, Billy saying I was using excuses.

"Greg, honey, you told me to be both your mate and your Beta. I'm trying to push you to accept that vampire society is different. As a human, a 17 year old with a 14 year old is frowned on. We don't look at age in anything because we age so differently. A vampire that looks 20 might be a thousand years old. And don't try to use the `he is my son' either. Joshua is your son and that didn't stop you from doing his mating how he asked. If Morgan asks you to do that for his mating, will you refuse? What about Charlie?"

"Ok, I get it."

Billy shook his head and went on "No Greg, you don't, but you're getting there. You didn't flinch when you gave Josh your blessing to teach Brandon about oral sex. Not one vampire in this house would care if you took Brandon and Chipper to bed and did everything you do with me. We're just not hung up on sex like humans."

I was getting angry. Feeling defensive about my pups. "And when Millie and Val are born? What about them Billy? Will you feel the same when they're 3 and some adult wants them?"

Billy stood his ground and also raised his voice a bit. "When you caught me with Lucas, you didn't care about what I did, you cared that he consented to it. If Val is 3 and asks Dr Phillips to fuck her, I'm fine with that, as long as he respects her wishes. Any vampire would be fine with it. We're going to teach our pups to respect themselves and each other, and our son is asking you to respect him and his wishes."

Morgan quietly said "I'm sorry Dad, I didn't mean to cause so many problems. I don't have to hunt."

I was sitting on the sofa and pulled Morgan onto my lap. "Buddy, you need to learn to hunt eventually, and Papa's right. I need to accept that vampires look at things differently. As long as no one is being forced, I'll deal with it."

"I can have Brandon do it, if you don't want to Daddy."

"And then if Chipper asks me to? Or Charlie? I can't refuse forever. We'll try tonight." I turned to my other son "Brandon, are you upset that I would do this for Morgan but wouldn't for you?"

"No Dad. You are still adjusting to being a vampire. You took me hunting, Joshua only helped me get my beast out. You would have done it, if I had pushed it, I know you would have. And I know you love all of us in our own way. There will be things you do for each of us that you don't do for all of us. That's because we're all different."

I laughed and looked at him. "Are you sure you're only 5? There are adults who don't understand that. I love all my pups differently because they're all different. But I love them all with my entire being, and Morgan, we will hunt after dinner. Just you and I, if that's ok?"

Morgan snuggled in tight to me "Yeah Dad, just you and me."

Andrew knocked "Mr. Barnes would like to speak to you a moment Sir."

I sent the pups to dinner, telling them we would be along soon as Andrew brought Mike in.

"Mike, did you grow tired of Derrick on the way here?"

"Oh no, I enjoy his company greatly. I just wanted to let you know he immediately gave me the same answers I gave you. No hesitation, no waffling. He knew some of the human legalities, and he instinctively knew that we avoid their courts at all costs."

"Well, you heard him. He wants to get the education. And I don't want him to feel pressured to be something he doesn't want."

"He asked me if he can do the work with me and learn another way. I told him I'd think about it, because I didn't want to get his hopes up. But unless he is going to work with human clients, or argue in human courts, we can do it his way. Especially if he's only going to be doing contracts and advising you. He can take courses online while working with me. If you're likely to be changing him, treat him as if he's already changed."

"I'll talk with him Mike. He's as much my son as Brandon or Charlie or any of the others. And human or vampire, I will treat him like my other pups. If he wants to do it the way a vampire would, that's what we'll do. Make plans so you can make it happen when we need."

Mike nodded. "Understood Greg. Will he still go to the school?"

"We'll leave that to him. Let's get to dinner." As I stood and we headed to the dining room. Morgan was excitedly telling everyone that he was going on his first hunt after dinner. Derrick was telling Lucas about his day with Mike. Chipper and Kialani were lost in their own world, talking in tones low enough I respected their privacy. Tommy elbowed Leonard and motioned towards the pups, then looked at me with a grin. I grinned and nodded back. Joshua and Todd were trying to quietly discuss the deals in Chicago and New York until they caught me glaring at them. No business at the dinner table, and they knew it.

"Sorry Father."

I smiled and nodded. Then I turned to Bobby and Teddy "Are you boys having fun at school?"

"It's fun Uncle Greg. We're learning so much! We're working on long division." Bobby said.

"We got to skip the French classes thanks to Daddy. And Alejo is helping us all with Spanish when we're riding to and from school."

"That's so cool guys, I really should work on my languages too."

"Greg? May I make an announcement?"

"Sure Mom, go ahead."

"The funeral for James will be held here, Saturday. Scott and Bea have helped me with the arrangements. Mary, Amie, and Leonard will be helping to keep the pups entertained during it."

"Thanks Mom." I said, then looked around the table and added "I trust that you all know how important this is, please think before you speak."

Everyone was finishing their cake when Morgan looked at me with his best puppy dog eyes. I sent a message through the bond so my mates could watch, then I slowly took another bite of cake. "Amie, this is delicious, can I have another piece?" as I winked at her.

"Aw Dad, come on, please?"

"What? I like the cake. Don't you want more?"

"No Dad. I don't want more cake. I wanna go. Please?" I could tell he was getting stressed, but he was keeping control.

I set my fork down and stood up. "I was just playing with you, we can go. But before we do, I want to say that I noticed that you were getting upset and you still stayed focused and handled things in an acceptable way. I'm proud of you for that."

Morgan took a deep breath and looked me in the eyes "I was losing control Dad, but I heard my beast telling me to focus, so I did."

I looked to Scott and Billy first. They both looked as confused as I was. Then I looked to Tommy, Leonard, Mike, David, Frederick, and everyone else I trusted. None of us knew anything about autism and none of them knew anything about someone on the spectrum that had been changed. I figured there was nothing to do but continue on the path we were already on.

"Get ready and we'll go."

**********************************************************************************

I feel I need to say that I know little to nothing about autism. I've included Morgan after meeting an incredible young man. My attempts at reflecting his mannerisms, abilities, and personality come from the heart. If I have oversimplified the issue, I apologize. Every person with autism is different, and I am including Morgan (and others in the future?) to simply raise awareness. If my attempts are offensive, forgive me.
