I need to apologize for the long delay in getting this chapter out and I want to thank you all for your patience. I was touched by the concern for my health, but I assure you that I'm fine. I hit a writing wall, and while I know where I want to go with things, I've struggled on how to get there. I'm still struggling with how to lay it all out, so I'm going to take the advice of a fan. The next few chapters will be from Derrick's point of view, starting the morning of the explosion.

Chapter 74

Joshua and Samantha had a short conversation through the bond. He told her how much he loved her and then ordered her to get some rest. Then he curled up between Billy and I and we held him as we all fell asleep. I awoke to find Jesse laying on my body, his hard 2" spike slowly rubbing against my stomach. I turned to see what he was watching, to find Joshua's face buried between Chipper's hips, working his lips up and down as Chipper moaned and wriggled. Beyond this, I saw Billy smiling at me as Jeremey was copying his twin's actions. I didn't need the message he sent me through the bond to know what to do, as I picked Jesse up and flipped him onto his back, sliding down his body and taking him into my mouth as Billy did the exact same thing to Jeremey. It wasn't long before Jesse and Jeremey were squirming and giggling, saying that it tickled.

We stopped and the twins jumped off the bed, running out the door as they told us they wanted breakfast. I looked over in time to see Chipper's body bucking through his dry orgasm. When he recovered, he too ran out the door in search of food.

Joshua looked at me and blushed. "Sorry, Dad. They climbed in with us and Chipper asked me to..."

"Like I told you when Brandon asked you to do the same thing, I know you won't hurt them. I guess you were too involved to notice what Billy and I did with the twins?"

Josh grinned and said "Oh no, I saw."

I kissed Josh, turned and shared a deeper kiss with Billy, then I pushed them both away and said "I agree with the pups, I'm hungry!"

We climbed off the bed and after a few minutes of searching, found the towels, soap, shampoo, and other things we needed to get ready for the day. The shower wasn't as big as the one we had in Pennsylvania, but it was large enough for the three of us to comfortably fit and wash each other. After our play with the pups, we were all in a mood for more, but we didn't have time, so we settled for a quick release.

We dressed in the suits from yesterday and headed towards the dining room. Alex, the steward from last night, was waiting outside the door.

"I hope it was alright to let your pups in this morning, Your Majesty. We were told how much your family means and I just assumed..."

"You assumed correct, Alex. All of our pups can enter our room at any time." I said as we headed towards the elevator. When we got there, I realized we couldn't operate the elevator. "Alex, would you be so kind as to get us to the dining room? And get us some cards so we're not dependent on others."

As he operated the elevator for us, Alex said "With respect, Majesty, card readers are yesterday's tech. Cards can be cloned and misplaced. I would suggest you upgrade to facial recognition in combination with fingerprint identification. You can also use mobile devices to control access."

"It sounds like you know what you're talking about?"

Alex led us down the hall as he said "When my father said you had appeared, I resigned my teaching position at MIT to come work with him, Sire."

We were entering the dining room as I asked "Who is your father?"

"I am, Your Majesty." Demetri said, as everyone stood and bowed. "I had heard you have your own IT man, but I hoped Alex would be able to assist him, so I asked him to come to the castle."

"Sadly, our IT man perished in the explosion." Then I turned to Alex and said "I'd like to hear more of your ideas. Join me after breakfast."

I looked around the dining room at my waiting family. After a momentary pause, Mom and Dad rushed to embrace me, followed shortly by Jack, Matt, and Liza. Andrew and Amie, Lucas and LeAnn, Johnny, Opa, and Todd were all standing around with expressions of concern showing on their faces.

I looked at Todd and asked "Where are Lisa and the twins?"

"Our twins wanted to see your twins, and Andy and Kailani wanted to see Chipper. Lisa's probably wherever your pups are."

As Todd was saying this, Lisa, Tommy, and Leonard came in followed by a small pack of pups. Chipper ran to me and said "Uncle Tommy said we had to wear clothes until you say it's ok not to."

I looked to Andrew who looked to Demetri who said "The residence floors are entirely private, Sire. You, your mates, and the pups can do as you desire. Public nudity, especially at a beach or pool is considered normal in most of Europe. I would suggest that the pups be dressed while in the governmental portions of the castle, but that is entirely up to you."

I nodded, then turned to Chipper and said "After breakfast you may ask Aunt Liza and Miss Lisa if they would like to spend some time with you guys exploring the castle. They can explain where you're allowed to be naked, and where you need to be dressed. I'm sure Demetri can find someone to show you around."

We had just started eating when my phone rang. After looking at the screen, I put it on speaker and said "What's the news Derrick?"

"I was talking to Morgan and Allie and I wanted to tell you what they've said. I don't know how to take it and I'm hoping you can give us some guidance."

"OK, go on. What did they say?"

"Well, Morgan says he's seen Val and Millie as adults, so he's sure they're alive somewhere, but after we pulled Samantha out of the rubble, Allie says there's no more life in the house."

I looked around at my family as I asked "Is Morgan there with you? Put your phone on speaker, please?"

The background noise got louder, then I heard "I'm here Dad."

"When did you see the twins as adults Morgan? Did you have these visions after the explosion?"

"Yeah Dad. I was helping them move the rocks and I got thinking about the twins and I saw them as adults."

"Allie? What do you mean there's no more life in the house?"

"Every hour they clear everyone away from the house and let the dogs sniff around. The last time they did that, I tried to see if I could feel anyone. Before, I could feel Samantha, but now I don't feel anyone Mr. Greg."

I heard Donna sob as James pulled her into his arms and held her. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I said "Focus all your attention on the office wing. Continue to dig by hand until you either find the reinforced room, or find that it didn't hold. Call me when you uncover it. That's an order, Alpha Warnick."

"Understood, Your Majesty, but I refuse to give up hope until I see the bodies of Pop, Mom, and my sisters. Morgan says they'll grow to be adults and I trust Morgan with my life."

Derrick disconnected the call and we sat there in silence, broken only by an occasional sniffle or sob from one my pups, my parents, or my family. After what seemed line an eternity, Opa said "I think we should move to the family room Greg. Your pups need held, as do you. Joshua, go tell the princes that your father is unavailable until further notice, then join us."

Joshua looked to me for approval but Billy said "Don't you dare disagree, Greg. The world has waited centuries for you to be King, they can wait another day or two." He then turned to Joshua and said "You heard your Opa, go on. Tell the dukes we'll send word once we know something."

Joshua didn't argue. He just said "Yes Papa." then turned to Demetri and said "If you'll show me where I might find the dukes?"

Demetri led Joshua to the elevator as Billy and I led our family to the more casual of the gathering rooms we had seen. Billy and I sat on a couch and Jesse and Jeremy climbed into our laps. Kailani and Chipper curled up beside me as Sam and Tanya sat holding Charlie and Davie on Billy's other side.

I was stunned. As I sat there, I realized that I was more affected by the loss of Scott and Bea than I had been by the loss of my human father. Then I thought about Val and Millie, and all the things I'd never share with my two beautiful daughters. I'd never see their first steps, their first hunts, their weddings. I was thinking how a parent shouldn't outlive their children, then I looked at Donna, crying on the shoulder of her mate and realized that they too had lost a child today.

I was brought out of my thoughts when Joshua walked in and said "Father, someone brought Igor to the castle. He's in the entrance courtyard, in chains."
