"But all the money goes to charity, AIDS prevention," Darren said, a little out of breath trying to keep up with my pace. We were on our way to class. "I understand it's a good cause and all man, I'll make like a $50.00 donation." "You'd get us a lot more than $50, Luke. Please think about it, you don't have to tell me for sure right now." There was a pleading tone to his voice. I looked over at him and his eyes were pleading as well. The guy I'm talking to is a friend of mine, Darren Wanamaker. Darren and I went to the same High School. We knew each other then, though not really. We ended up at the same university, with the same major. We had mutual classes and since we kind of knew each other, and Darren is super-smart, we started studying together. We didn't see each other too much socially, although we did grab a meal here and there and he would occasionally come to one of my Fraternity's parties. "Darren, you know I'm cool with you being gay and all. But what you are asking is pushing it a little bit; I'd feel really uncomfortable on a date with a guy." "It's not like you got to sleep with the guy. All you got to do is go to dinner with him or a movie or something. And they'll be a bunch of straight girls at the auction, so there's just as good a chance that your date will be with a woman." Darren came out of the closet about a year ago, when we were sophomores. It really wasn't surprising to me, I kind of knew already. He wasn't feminine or anything. But I could tell from his eyes, even in high school; the way he looked at me with a kind of desire in his eyes. He never spoke about girls and I can't recall him ever having a girlfriend. It wasn't forefront on my mind that he was a homo, but in retrospect, it made sense. Whatever. It didn't bother me - to each their own. He was really good to me and never actually hit on me or tried touching me. So why should I care what he does in private? Now don't get me wrong - I don't understand it. I mean, how could a guy not find chicks desirable and fuckable? Kissing another dude? Hairy legs and chests? What makes a man want to suck another man's dick? I don't even want to think what else they do together. The concept is unfathomable to me. And here is Darren asking me if I will participate in the Gay Student Union's Annual Bachelor and Bachelorette Auction. He may be saying that a girl will buy me, but I don't even want to take a chance that I'll be bought by a guy. How awkward would that be? If my Fraternity Brothers or one of the guys from the team found out, I'd have to hear it for a month. They already give me shit about hanging out with 'that queer,' meaning Darren. "If that's the case, I don't think that Bernadette is going to go for this." "Actually," Darren said, "I already talked to Bern about this and she said that she was cool with it, guy or girl." Damn, I was hoping that excuse would put an end to this. We were right outside the classroom by this point and I stopped before going in. Darren stopped besides me. "Darren, listen." I tried to choose my words carefully, not wanting to seem to put off by Darren's lifestyle. "I know you help me out a lot with studying and homework and shit. And you know that I'd help you out with anything that I could. But not this; I can't do this. I'm sorry." I watched Darren's face drop in defeat. "All right," he said, "I guess I understand. I just thought that you would raise a lot of money for us." I felt bad, but relieved at the same time. I told myself that I would give him $100 instead of $50. "So I got practice after class," I said, changing the subject, "but I'll give you a call later to set some time to work on that marketing project." "All right, talk to you later Luke." We parted ways as we entered the Lecture Hall. I sat in the back with a couple of my Fraternity Brothers and Darren took a seat closer to the front of the room. ***** "Hey Babe, what are you doing here?" I said to Bernadette, who was sprawled out on my bed studying. It wasn't that I didn't want her here; I just didn't expect to see her. "Waiting for you," she said with a huge smile. She was wearing my Steelers jersey, which was way too big on her. She had no pants or skirt on, just all leg showing. I couldn't tell for sure, but if I guessed, she wasn't wearing any panties. "Yeah?" I asked, dropping both my book and gym bags off my shoulder. "Yeah." "What'cha studying?" "Behavioral Psychology. Have an exam on Thursday." I walked up to the bed, leaned in and gave her a kiss. She pushed her book off the bed and tried pulling me onto the bed with her. I resisted a little. "I have to take a shower, I'm sweaty and stinky from working out." "I like you sweaty and stinky," she responded and put her lips on mine again. My dick grew hard under my sweatpants and any resistance that I had was gone. I let her pull me to the bed and then she rolled on top of me. "Well, I guess there's no need showering if we are just going to get sweaty all over again," I said, stopping our deep kissing briefly. "I need a good sweat," she replied as she lifted my still sweaty t-shirt over my head and pulled it off. "A good, hard sweat?" I teased back as I pulled my jersey off her sexy body. Yeah, I was right. She was wearing nothing under there. I took one tit in each of my hands and started caressing. "Like we never sweated before," she answered as she slid back over my legs a bit to untie my sweatpants. Without her bodyweight holding the fabric of my pants down, my crotch tented as I went hard... The two of us were lying in bed, naked, after a good sweaty fuck. We were both quiet, enjoying our intertwined bodies as we basked in the bliss of each of our orgasms. Bernadette's head was nestled into my chest as I stroked her soft auburn hair. I remembered my conversation with Darren earlier and I thought that I would kid Bern about it. "So I hear you said it was OK that I go on a date with someone else." She pulled her head away from my chest and looked up at my face. She had the most beautiful blue eyes. "Huh?" She looked confused. "That auction. Darren said you were all right with me to go on a date with another girl." Her confusion turned to a smile. "Oh yeah," she said as pulled a fallen eyelash from under my eye. "For one night, and I mean one night," she stressed, "You have my permission." "What if she wants me to put out?" I teased, trying to keep a straight face. "Depends on how much she paid." While I was keeping a straight face, she had a wry smirk going. "What's that smile for?" "Or he." "He what?" "He. A guy. If a guy buys you," she laughed. "You think that's funny, huh?" "Kind of, yeah. I'd love to be a fly on the wall watching that date. Romantic restaurant, candle light, you ordering dinner for the both of you, the two of you sharing dessert - one fork. With him feeding you of course." She was laughing more. Now I was sorry I brought it up. Though she was laughing like it was funny, it was almost as if she was mocking me. I could hear it in her tone. I don't know why, but I suddenly took offense to that. "You don't think that I could do it?" "The President of the biggest Fraternity on campus and Captain of the Swim Team going out on a date with a guy? No, I don't think that you could do it." "Well, I think you think too little of me." "No offense sweetie, but you'd be way too concerned what everyone else would say." It was like she had read my mind earlier. She was right, of course, but she didn't have to know that. "No I wouldn't. Everyone would know it was for charity." "Right," she said sarcastically and rolled her eyes. "You're right that's right." She was starting to upset me. "So you told Darren that you would do it?" "I did." Damn, how did I get myself into this? No going back now. "Wow, I'm impressed. Maybe I did think too little of you. But then again, you aren't too little at all, are you?" Under the sheet, Bernadette's hand went to my crotch and grabbed my half-stiff dick, which went rigid in her hand. "Mmmphhh," I breathed heavily as she jerked my cock, pulling the foreskin up and down, over my bulbous head, which was still a slick from my orgasm. "That's actually a pretty sexy thought, you with another guy." "Well that's not happening." "I know. But the thought of it is still pretty hot." "No, this is pretty hot," I said as rolled on top of her, sliding my dick inside her wet pussy as we started round two. Her mouth opened to a wide "O" as I filled her... ***** "Are you nervous?" Bernadette asked, over the loud DJ music that was coming from the stage. "No, not really," I lied. "You'll do fine," Bernadette said, straightening the tuck of my black t-shirt into the pair of black slacks that I was wearing. We were in a waiting room off the main stage of the Campus Theater where the auction was being held. When the evening started, there were about 30 of us waiting our turn to be called out onto stage and auctioned off for charity. As requested, all of us were wearing all black. One-by-one the room cleared out, so that Bern and I were the last ones remaining. If I had known that I would be the last to go, after waiting almost two hours, I never would have shown up before the auction started as we were instructed. Though I was appreciative of the now empty room, free from the stares of the 20 something gay dudes that were checking me out. This was the new millennium and I consider myself a hip guy. I could deal with a guy checking me out, but in close quarters like this where I was the minority, their obvious stares bugged me out a little. When I told Bernadette, she said that they were all hot and that I should take it as a compliment. I kind of did, but girls just don't understand. Thank god she was with me though. I never could have stood here for two hours by myself. It was probably the most public displays of affection between the two of us in the shortest time ever, if you know what I mean. The music stopped and the emcee started describing the Bachelorette that was next on the auction bloc. Shortly after, he started taking bids, starting at $20 and working up in $10 increments. Darren came through the door. "Almost time. You doing OK?" "A little nervous," I admitted to Darren. "Nothing to be nervous about man. You'll be on stage for like 5 minutes and then it will be done." "Cool. Are there a lot of people out there?" "Actually, yeah; a lot more than we expected. Not to make you more nervous, but I think everyone is waiting around for you." "Great." I tried to sound positive, but I think it came out more sarcastic because Bern grabbed my hand in hers. "So what's been the highest bid been so far?" "Not sure exactly, I think $120." "Wow, that's pretty good, no?" "Yeah, awesome." The music started again and took Darren's attention for a second. "All right, you're on in like a minute. Come out when he starts talking about you. I'm going to go back to my spot. See you out there." "See ya," I replied. Before getting through the door, Darren stopped and turned back to Bern and me. "Luke." "Yeah?" "Thanks for this. Everyone said you wouldn't do it, or that you wouldn't show up. And I know you didn't want to do it at first. But I wanted to..." "Darren," I cut him off. He wasn't even looking at me, he was speaking to the ground. "Yeah?" He said, moving his eyes up to mine. "You're welcome," I said and gave him a wink. I'm not really the sensitive type, especially with another guy. I felt his sincerity. I know what he was saying. No need for us to go through this. Darren shook his head in acknowledgement and left. "That was sweet," Bern said, squeezing my hand. "You made him the hero of this group of his, you know." "I guess," I said, reaching into my pocket and pulling out a wad of $20 bills. "What do you think, $200 will due?" "I don't like this at all," she said, letting go of my hand. We had discussed this earlier, before getting here. "If it's a girl, let her win the bid. But if it's a couple of gay guys bidding back and forth, then you make the final bid. OK?" "People know I'm your girlfriend. It will look weird." "Who cares? The money goes to charity either way. OK?" I asked again as I put my lips to hers and slid my tongue into her mouth. "OK," she said when our lips parted, "But you better make it $300, just in case." "I want my change..." I joked as I gave her the cash. She always kept the change, but I always told her I wanted it back. It was a joke between us, sometimes a costly joke on my part. A couple of seconds later, the music stopped and I knew that was my cue. My heart started to race. "Wish me luck," I asked. "Good luck," she said and gave me one last kiss. ***** "Last, but certainly not least," the Emcee announced, "The Bachelor that you have all been waiting for." The place erupted in applause, screams and catcalls. I walked out onto the stage, trying to keep my cool. I stopped in the center of the stage, right next to the Emcee. The stage was brightly lit and it was difficult for me to make out the faces of the screaming audience. I could tell that the place was packed, with probably a couple of hundred people out there. "Everyone knows this Bachelor. Some of you may know him as the President of Sigma Pi (applause). Others may know him as the Captain of the Swim Team (more applause). Personally, I know him real well from when he comes to me in my fantasies every night, if you know what I mean..." The place roared with laughter as I turned a shade of red. My heart was beating like crazy, but I had a rush of adrenaline as well. I turned to look at the Emcee, who was a smaller guy, real skinny. He spoke with a little bit of a lisp and frankly, looked gay as gay can be. I was a little weirded out thinking about this guy jerking off to me. He was probably just kidding, I told myself. "When not swimming, or doing, well, whatever it is that Frat Boys do with each other in those houses, Luke enjoys the beach, snowboarding, riding motorcycles, and working out." He was reading off a fact sheet that we all had completed before the auction started. "As for his stats, this guy's 6 foot 2 inches tall and 210 pounds of grade-A beef, (pause while the room applauded). Luke, can you tell us what size shoe you wear?" He stuck the microphone in front of my mouth and wanted me to answer. "Uh, size 14," I said into the microphone. "Good lord," he said, taking the microphone back and talking to the crowd. "Those of us who have been to some of the swim meets and seen you in a Speedo can certainly vouch that what they say is true, big feet, big...well...you know." The place broke out in laughter again, and so did I. I was actually enjoying the attention to a certain degree. "Now, not to disappoint all the queers in the room, but Luke here is straight (boos from the crowd, a few cheers from the females) and does have a girlfriend. But Darren, who is responsible for getting Luke to do this, did talk to his girlfriend Bernadette Riley. And she has agreed, for the sake of charity, to allow one of you lucky guys a night with her stud, skies the limit!" I went for the microphone and pulled it closer to me. "That goes for the ladies, too." "Yeah, like they have a chance," the Emcee joked and the crowd again laughed. "But he's right, this is an equal-opportunity room, so good luck to all you ladies...or not! With that said, how about we start the bidding?" "Take your shirt off!" someone in the crowd yelled. I knew the voice. It was Dan, my roommate and Fraternity Brother. I told them not to come, but I should have known better. I was going to kill him later. I didn't want my shirt off, and shook my head no. "Take it off, take it off, take it off," Dan started chanting and a bunch of voices joined him. Though I couldn't pinpoint any of the additional voices, from their rowdiness, I knew it had to be some of my Brothers. Again I shook my head and waived my hands no. The chant got louder as the rest of the auditorium got into it. I looked over at the Emcee, hoping that he would control this by moving along with the auction. But he was no help. "Don't look at me, honey. The room has spoken and I'm with them." Strangely, part me suddenly wanted to take my shirt off. I loved to tease, but it was girls that I loved to tease, not a bunch of guys. The chanting fed my ego, so I went with it and pulled my shirt off. "Woof," the Emcee said, "Check out that chest and those abs." I felt his eyes, along with the room's, on my naked torso. I don't know why, all the attention I guess, but my dick started to go a little stiff. "We started the other bids at $20, but with what you're getting here, I'm starting this one at $40. Do I hear $40?" "$40!" a male voice yelled. "$50?" the emcee asked. "$50!" a different male bid. "How about $60?" "Sixty!" yet another male voice yelled. I started to get a little nervous hearing only men bid. 'Come on Bernadette, don't let me down,' I thought to myself. But the next bid was from a chick, and it wasn't Bern. The pace of the auction sped up. It was still mostly men, though every few was from the ladies. Before I even know it, they were past $200.00 and quickly approaching $300.00. "Do I hear $300?" "$300!" A male voice yelled. Shit, Bernadette was out of cash. I hope she knew that I had more if she needed. "Can I get $310?" "$310," Bernadette said. That a girl! "$320?" "$320!" A male again, damn. The first pause in the bidding was at $390.00, and some guy had made the bid. "$390 going once," the emcee said, "$390 going twice. Oh come on, this stud's worth at least $400.00. The money is going to charity people. Don't let this guy take your dream-man for a measly $10." Come on Bernadette, I pleaded to myself. "$400!" But it wasn't her. It was another dude. "$400 going once...$400 going twice...$400 going three times... (pause)... $400 sold to Jacob Whitmore, you lucky bastard! Thanks everyone from coming. We raised a lot of money tonight for the battle against AIDS. A special thanks to all our Bachelors and Bachelorettes. We have the auditorium till midnight, so feel free to hang out, mingle, dance, whatever. Thanks again!" The DJ put some music back on and the Emcee walked over to me. "Thanks for doing this Luke, it really means a lot to us to get the support of someone like you." He stuck out his hand and we shook. His eyes averted to my lower stomach and I looked down to where he was looking. My pants were riding low from when I pulled my shirt off, and the top of my pubes that lead up to my trail were showing a little from under the band of my underwear. I took my hand back and put on my shirt. I took the stairs to the left off the stage and looked for Bernadette. I was met with a bunch of thanks, handshakes and looks from some of the guys. I was cool with them, making brief conversation with a few of them. Towards the back of the room I saw about 7 of my Brothers, all wearing Letters. They were putting on their jackets and getting ready to leave. They caught my gaze and I pointed them out, giving them a 'wait till we get back to the house, you're dead' look. They just smiled and took off. Bern found me. "Wow, $400," she smiled, "Can my Sorority auction you off too?" "Hey," I said, pulling her close to me and giving her a deep kiss. Yes, it was another display of my heterosexuality, making sure all these gay guys around me were certain that I was straight. "What happened?" I asked her, raising my eyebrows so that she knew what I meant without having to say it in front of everyone. "What? You only gave me $300." "I had more, you saw that." "I wanted to let them have their fun. You'll have dinner with a gay guy and make his year. I think it's cute." "Cute? I thought you said that it was hot?" "Dinner is cute, you naked in bed with another guy is hot." "Now you're making me sick." She laughed. "Well, you had no problem taking your shirt off up on stage." "The Emcee wouldn't start until I..." I was interrupted with a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to find Darren standing there with another guy. "Jacob, this is Luke. Luke, this is Jacob. Jacob's the fortunate one to get to go on that date with you." I was hit with a bunch of feelings all at the same time that I felt nauseous. First, I was suddenly nervous. If you had asked me earlier if tonight I was going to meet the guy who had "purchased" me, I would have responded 'duh, of course.' But having to meet him completely slipped my mind when I walked off stage. And now that he was standing in front of me, catching me off-guard, I had no idea what to say to him. Second, I was really confused. This guy, Jacob, could have been one of my Fraternity Brothers. Being a truly competitive person, one of the things that I have learned to do is size up my competition. Not that this Jacob is my competition, but after so many years, its just comes natural to size everyone up. Especially with someone who is just about my equal, as Jacob appeared to be. He was about exactly my height. He was wearing a red ball-cap backwards, so it was hard for me to tell exactly. But we were eye-to-eye. He looked pretty built, the size of his rather broad chest showing through a white t-shirt that was a bit tighter than I would have worn. Or maybe he just filled it out more. He reached his hand out to shake mine, the short sleeve of his right arm sliding up a bit as he did. It revealed a quite magnificent bicep, surrounded by one of those barbed-wire tattoos that you see around. His forearm matched in thickness. We squeezed hands, seeming that each of us was trying to outdo the other. We often arm-wrestled around the House, and I doubted that I could take this guy. "Nice to meet you," he said in a voice deeper than my own. "We never spoke, but I've seen you around the gym a bunch of times." "Oh yeah, I thought you looked familiar," I lied. "Nice to meet you as well." I saw him look over at Bernadette. "This is my girlfriend, Bernadette," I introduced. "Hi," Jacob said, a little softer in voice. "Thanks for loaning your boyfriend out." He was a charmer; I could see it in his face and the smile that he shot her. If I didn't know better, I would have guessed that he was hitting on her. But maybe I didn't know better. This guy didn't seem gay at all. "You're welcome," Bernadette replied. Was she blushing? We stood there in silence for a couple of seconds before Jacob said something. "So I feel a little weird asking this in front of your girlfriend and all, but can I get your digits so I can give you a call?" "A call?" "Yeah, to plan the date." "Sure, yeah, of course, the date," I stammered. The guy was making me nervous for some reason. "The number is 555-7515." He pulled out his cell phone and entered my number into it. "All right Luke," he said when his phone was back in his pocket. "I'm looking forward to it, we'll have a good time." "Looking forward to it too." 'Why did you say that, stupid?' I reprimanded myself. "Later," Jacob said turning to Darren, not saying goodbye to Bernadette. "Well, that was a bit strange," I said to Bernadette and Darren when Jacob was gone. "He seems nice," Bern stated, "And hot." The last part was directed towards Darren. "A walking wet-dream is more like it," Darren added. He typically didn't say stuff like that in front of me, but I guess this was his environment and not mine. Though I did grimace my face a bit at him. "Well, I'm already late for the mixer, which is not good being the Social Chair. I'll come over later?" Bern asked me. "Yeah, I'll be around the House with the pledges tonight." "You did great tonight, I'm proud of how well you handled yourself," she said and gave me a peck on the cheek. "Bye Darren." "Bye Bernadette," Darren responded. "You really did do great," Darren cheered. "I can't believe you took your shirt off to a room of gay guys." "It was just a shirt. So you know this guy Jacob?" "Yeah, kind of, from around." "Is he gay? He doesn't seem gay at all." "He says he's gay, though a lot of us wonder if he really is. Don't get me wrong, we don't thin he's lying or anything, but he's just so straight acting that we talk about it." I wanted to get out of there and Darren walked me to my car. I found out more information about Jacob along the way. He was a junior, just like I was. He was an English major. He lived in an apartment off campus, by himself, though Darren wasn't sure. Though he looked like an athlete, he wasn't on any athletic team besides the Gay Union's co-ed intramural softball team. "He really likes straight guys," Darren advised as we approached my car. "What's that supposed to mean?" "At our meetings or socials, he's always talking about this and that straight guy that he got in bed. There's plenty of really hot gay guys in the Union that are always hitting on him, but he doesn't seem interested unless the guy's straight." "So you think that's why he bought me?" That sounded so strange coming out my mouth that some guy bought me. "I don't know, probably not. Though I was surprised to see that he bid pretty seriously for you; he definitely wanted you." "Well, wanting and having are two different things." I took a seat in my Maxima and put the key in the ignition. "He may want me, but he isn't going to have me," I continued after the car started. "Yeah, I know. Don't get the wrong impression. He's a really cool guy and I like him a lot. I just know what he likes, and you are definitely his type." "Unfortunately for him," I said as I closed the car door and rolled down the window, "He isn't my type. Don't forget that we got that Business Law test on Monday. Want to study for awhile Sunday night?" "Sounds good. I'll give you a buzz Sunday afternoon. And Luke, again, I wanted to say..." "To say thanks, I got it Darren. You're welcome. Talk to you Sunday, have a good weekend man." "Yeah, you too Luke." To Be Continued? The set up is done, the good stuff yet to cum, I mean come. If the interest is there, I'll write more. Let me know. J.
