I was up before the alarm and it was a good thing as there was dried cum

went into the test room. I open my case and took out the supplies, pen,
pencil, erase marker and a clear plastic sheet and a couple paper towels.
Looking around there were about 5 others taking the test. We were given a
test book and an answer sheet and were instructed to fill out the top of
the answer sheet. We were told that we had 2 -1/2 hours for the 60
question test.


I started do what I always don on this type of test and I quickly looked
at each question and answered any question I did not have to think about
and was absolutely certain about the answer. I was shocked as that took
40 minutes and I had answered 35 questions. I had not spent any time on
the ones involving a diagram and there were only a few of them. I decided
to work on one and once I started I just smiled and it was easy and I
used my plastic sheet to confirm what I knew. That was so much fun I
started on the next one and damn that was easy as well. I now had 39
questions and started looking at ones that I passed over. This was fun
and actually easy, thanks to my amazing memory. I was now an hour 15
minutes into it and had  about 6 questions left. I started on the
remaining few and with 45 minutes left, I was done. I turned the
materials back to the proctor. He looked at me and asked, are you sure
and I replied, yes sir. I was told to have a seat and the results would
be ready shortly.


Back at my seat I packed up my supplies and looked around and everyone
was busy working away. I knew I had flat out guessed on one answer so I
thought that I might have missed 2 questions. About 10 minutes later the
proctor approach, handed me my test back and I had missed 2 questions.
The one I guessed at and one which was a stupid mistake. The correct
answers were provided and it was suggested that I review those. I was
asked to take the answer sheet back to the registration desk. I thanked
him and went outside. My test was certified and appropriate paperwork was
handed to me. Then I was asked if I still wanted to do the oral and check
ride. I said that I would like to do that. There was more paperwork and
another check. Damn this was expensive. I was told that it would be 30
minutes and that I should relax and hang around.


I went outside and called Beth and when she answered I told her I had
past the first part of the test but that things were running late and
asked if I could please move the dinner tonight to brunch on Sunday. I
was expecting an issue but she said, well I actually expected that. Yes,
brunch would be great and I said I'll call when this is over but it will
be about 5 more hours. With that out of the way, I went back inside and
met the instructor. He started with a pleasant conversation and gradually
worked in some questions about the plane. He started to check the
documentation and everything was in order and easily provided. He started
checking the log book and started to laugh. I asked if everything was ok
and he said well if it wasn't Jim Messer would simply kick your ass. I
asked so how do you know the Major. He said we were at the Academy
together, great guy. So your flight plan from here to Philadelphia did he

was quizzed on the various Air classes and the weather and about a cold

be right there, I assume the plane is at the service line. I said correct

I went to the plane and figured what the hell and started the check, if
need be I could do it over. I was involved in the checklist and as I
finished he said great job let's get started. Inside I strapped in and
started the engine checked the gages, oil pressure and comms. Then the
ATIS was check and we were cleared to taxi, and as we were holding, he
said let's get the short takeoff out of the way. I said that works for
me. I had done only 3 of these but it was flawless, there were power on

location checks and following the flight plan was easy enough. As the

flight and the only point of concern was the soft landing and he picked

The damn paperwork took forever but I came out with a temporary
certificate. As I left the building I saw Jack and Jim waiting by my car.
