awkward grammar. I hope my little story is enjoyable nonetheless.


Part 1

Sarah was impressed and not a little bit surprised by how popular her sons
new Instagram profile had become. In just a few weeks it already had more
than two thousand followers, more than she had gathered in years on the
platform. Even with her liberal use of popular hashtags.

David always was a cute, active and fit boy, he came after her that
way. Since his dad was not in the picture, she tried to made sure David
wasn't lacking in activities young boys would enjoy: Playing catch, kicking
around a soccer ball in the park, roughhousing with him when he appeared to
get restless at home.

She also spent a considerable amount of her single moms income and alimony
on sport clubs like swimming, soccer, gymnastics and wrestling. He seemed
to enjoy them all right now, so she felt there was no need to have him
decide on a particular sport yet.

All of this physical activity was paying off now. She first noticed her boy
was developing a little six pack at only seven years old. Now at nine she
was proud to see that he had quite an impressive physique and decided to
show off his progress.

She first posted a shirtless pic of David flexing after a gymnastics
practice. When she picked him up from the centre he had lifted his shirt,
flexing his abs and proudly said

"Look mom, my muscles are really PUMPED right now".

Sarah was endeared.

"Oh wow, those really are impressive muscles! Here, let me take a picture!"

David grinned at the camera, flexing his stomach as hard as he could. He
looked really cute, but the picture wasn't really coming out very well.

"Let's take off the shirt, can't really see you like this!"

David didn't hesitate and quickly flicked his shirt off over his head. He
looked down at his body, flexing his chest and abs, seemingly fascinated by
his own body. She took a few pics in a row.

"Great, you are becoming a big boy! Lean back a bit to the light so I can
see the abs better!"

She noticed the hard shadow from the sunlight in the car made his small
muscles look even more defined.

"Ok, let's get going. You can leave your shirt off, I can save some money
on gas if I don't turn on the AC."

In the rear view mirror she saw him continuing to flex looking at himself,
seemingly deeply engrossed by his own body. Smiling to herself she drove
home.

Later the same day she posted one of the pictures to her instagram profile
with the capture:

"My son becoming more ripped than me, so jealous! What a little beast! ^-^

#bodybuilder"

She always liked to find popular topical hashtags, those posts gained much
more likes and comments rewarding her with that nice little dopamine rush.

The next day she was surprised and happy to see that this picture already
got more attention than any other post in her profile. There also were
quite a few new subscribers and comments. Even though most were only
emojis, some of them took the time to write something nice like "he looks
great!" or "impressive abs for his age" which she quickly favorited.

She went to Davids room and found him shirtless doing crunches on the
floor. Quickly snapping another picture she called out to him:

"Good job David! You'll get really great abs like that in no time.

Here, do you want to see something cool?"

"Yeah sure."

"Do you remember that picture I took in the car yesterday? I posted it on
Instagram"

"Really? Why?"

"Because you looked really fit and I wanted to show you off. Now look here,
it got 65 likes already and 9 comments. Thats more than my own pictures
ever get. I'm a bit jealous"

"Wow thats so cool, let me see!"

He took the phone and looked through the comments and likes.

Then he went back to his picture and zoomed in on his abs.

"That picture is awesome, you can really see my six pack here."

"You sure can! Seems my followers agree too. We should take some more
pictures soon, you'll become famous!" she laughed.

"That would be great" he said looking at his picture. He really was
fascinated with his own body. Probably normal for a developing boy of his
age.

This gave her the idea of setting up a profile for David. She fleetingly
thought about those stories of young instagram stars with sponsorship and
advertising deals, but quickly dismissed the thought. It was just a way to
boost his confidence and keeping him focused on his workout. But she also
admitted to herself that she enjoyed the attention he was getting for his
physique, she wondered if there even were other 9yo boys with such a ripped
body. She'd have to check that out some time soon.

Soon after she set up the account, after some time searching for a free
name she and David settled on Sporty_Boy_David_9. She uploaded the picture
she took in the car as his profile pic and posted this and another she shot
of him doing crunches. She also did some more research and found a number
of similar instagram profiles with young athletes. It seemed there were
quite a few similar aged boys doing gymnastics, bodybuilding or
swimming. Some she was afraid to say were even more muscular than her
son. Especially a group of young Russian gymnasts, which were just
freakishly ripped... He'd have to work hard to keep up.

David was also impressed by his peers on Instagram. He went through all the
pictures and liked and commented quite a few of them. She decided that it
was fine for him to use the account, but only under her supervision. (She
also put a "MOM managed!" into the profile text, which seemed was the
common thing to do).

In the next few days he quickly garnered quite a following. David was
obsessed with his new profile and wanted to upload pictures and videos
every day. She had to film him working out, doing crunches and pushups, but
often doing a copious amount of flexing and striking bodybuilder poses he
picked up from the profiles they followed. She did not mind at all though,
she enjoyed directing his little videos.

"Stand here in the light, put your hips to the side and bring your
shoulders forward... Good, now flex your chest!"

He followed her instructions and struck the pose, grimacing from his
exertions. She had to giggle a bit.

"What? Don't laugh!".

"No, I'm sorry. You look great, but you have to watch your facial
expression while you flex. Continue to breathe and try to smile!"

He struck the pose again. With his hips sideways and the shoulders and
chest facing forward his body looked even better than usual she
thought. His pecs were developing nicely, bulging out and clearly
defined. His abs cut a deep groove in the middle down to his navel. She
could count an eight pack. There were even signs of a v-line starting to
show over his hip bones, disappearing down his shorts. She felt a little
tingle imagining following the lines downwards to where they would meet.

"Yes, that's looking good! Let me do a close-up"

She brought the phone camera closer, slowly sliding it up and down from his
left pectoral, down to his abs and v-line, then up the other side to his
right pec.  When viewing him this close through the screen you could think
he was much older than his 9 years. Maybe even 12.

Not thinking for a moment she put her hand out and rubbed his abs and pecs
in slow circles.

"You are really strong, such big muscles for your age..."

She then looked at him and saw him proudly grinning up at her, still
flexing his muscles under her circling hand. Embarrassed she stopped the
recording. Maybe better to not upload this one.

After they took another few videos and decided on which to upload, David
said

"Write "The most muscular 9yo in the world!""

They sat together on the couch, him still shirtless and leaning on her to
see what she was typing.

"Oh isn't that a bit much? There are some really muscular boys out there!"

"I know, but write it anyway...." He thought for a bit "Who do you think is
more muscular?"

"I'm not sure if they are much more muscular, but what about those Romanian
brothers?"

She hit the upload button after entering his caption, then started to go
through their following list.

"Lets see..." She picked a Ukrainian gymnast who according to the profile
was 11 years old. He was a ripped blonde boy with a really big bulging

"How about this one, he is pretty big for his age isn't he?"

David nodded.

"But he's older than me I think.

I really like this picture of him" he said pointing at one where the other
boy did a "most muscular" flexing pose"

to see his body better. David apparently liked the picture before and left
a comment complimenting the boy. She got this tingling again and felt a

"What do you like most about his body?" She asked.

"His arms are really big. But his pecs are the best. I'd like to have a
chest like that too"

"Oh honey, your pecs are already big" She said, handing him the phone. He
took it and flipped through the other boys pics again, bringing up another
one where he was posing on the beach in a speedo.

"Do you really think so?" he asked, zooming into the picture.

"Yes, really." She rubbed over his chest, feeling him flex under her
hand. "I can feel that you got bigger already, I can barely cup one of your

He just smiled, scrolling through the feed. They looked at it the pics

"Okay" he groaned. "Can we post another workout video later?"

"Let's see, do your homework first young man!". She needed a shower. Maybe

One morning a week after they set up the new account she noticed a big
surge in new subscribers, likes and comments. After digging around in her
notifications a bit she saw that a fairly big and popular "Kid Models"
Instagram had reposted one of Davids flexing pics.

"Check out young athlete David and give him a follow! He is working hard
and it shows! #bodygoals #kidathlete."

The profile apparently featured kid models. There were a bunch of boys and

While she was busy deleting a bunch of inappropriate messages from people
with a very poor grasp of the english language, her phone buzzed with a new
message reply.

Young_Models: "Hey, no problem, glad to help out! I guess you're the mom
then?"

Sport_Boy_David_9: "Yes, this is mom :) David is at the gym, I will show
your post to him once I have picked him up again. He will be happy to see
so many likes and nice comments."

Young_Models: "Yeah I have a lot of enthusiastic followers it seems. He's
at the gym a lot isn't he? He must be working hard to have such a physique
at his age."

Sport_Boy_David_9: "Yes, thank you! He's a natural and has fun with it :)"

Young_Models: "That's the most important thing. Can I just say: Good job
with your boy. He's good looking AND has such a great body, I didn't know
that boys his age can be so ripped already!"

Sarah had to smile. It was nice to have confirmation of what she already
believed, her little man was quite exceptional. Even a model Instagram
influencer said so.

Sport_Boy_David_9: "Aww thank you! I'm also amazed, he just seems to grow
into those muscles naturally. I am Sarah by the way."

Young_Models: "Nice to meet you Sarah, I'm Jon. I see that you are from
Bismark? I live not too far away actually, just over the state line!"

Sarah noticed that she inexplicably got that tingling feeling again. He

didn't really care to question herself right now, so she just went with it.

Sport_Boy_David_9: "Nice to meet you too Jon. Is that right? How cool!

Sport_Boy_David_9: "Oh believe me, he would love that. He really likes to

Young_Models: "He is right to be proud though, he should be alowed to show
them abs off! I want to thank you too for posting all those pics and
videos"

Sport_Boy_David_9: "Well you're welcome Jon :). As I said David likes to
show off..." She thought for a bit and then added

Sport_Boy_David_9: "And to be honest I also like to show him off, I'm quite
proud of my little man"

Young_Models: "You are right to be proud and he definitely needs showing
off more!!"

Sarah was enjoying this chat, but wasn't quite sure how to continue here.

He was typing so she waited for him to message.

Young_Models: "Do you maybe have some pics or videos of him that you have
not posted yet? It's cool if you don't, just thought asking won't hurt ;)"

Sport_Boy_David_9: "hmm I don't know, let me think"

Young_Models: "It's fine if you don't. But if you're worried, you can send
images or videos here with the cam icon that can only be viewed two times
and then disappear"

Sarah knew she should not encourage this guy, but she was getting excited
right now. With one hand sliding down her panties, she selected an image
from the gallery where David was posing in front of the mirror just wearing

After hesitating a bit, she decided hit the send button.

He was silent for a while then giggled. "I think they want to see me naked"

"Jesus, these people... Just delete them!" She said with a pang of guilt.

"Ah yes, well. Just tell him that it's you so he doesn't think it's your
mom hes talking to"

"will do"... the phone buzzed "he responded already, cool."

David went silent, sending a few messages back and forth. She was nervous
but didn't want to reveal herself.

"What are you chatting about"

"Nothing, he's really nice. He's complimenting me a lot. And says I should
say hi to you, so hi mom!"

"say hi back from me then." She had to smile all the way back to their
apartment, while David silently chatted with Joe. This guy certainly can
get you talking...
